I watch some hi-lights of this Hsieh and I find it funny how she just throw those back spin and drop shots. So it's very awkward, she is just standing there and the next thing you're going to see is those unexpected shots and her opponent can't do anything about it.
Simona Halep already won the first set, 6-4 and currently leading the second set as well.
I am pretty sure Halep is going to win the 2nd set too. It's 4 - 4 for Halep and she is serving now. Bencic is doing her fight though. If Halep will win then we have left Svitolina to win for the semi. |

The first match of the day was played between Multan Sulatns and Karachi Kings. Karachi Kings did pretty well outplaying the bowlers of the opposite team scoring 150 runs in 15 overs for the loss of no wicket which was followed by quick loss of wickets and just 20 runs in 5 overs. I have this instinct that Multan Sultan could win the game only if they played the first ten overs well. My favorite for the second match of the day is Peshawar Zalmi.
You mean the first match of Karachi Kings vs Multan Sultans? This was the 2nd match of the tournament. I could not watch the match but I followed the score and it was really upsetting to score 183 even after a great opening partnership of 157 runs. Luckily Karachi Kings won. It will be interesting to see how far they will go today against Peshawar Zalmi. |

Ok so Hsieh got the win already, so continue his giant killing spree. Down 1-5 in the third set and eventually won 6-4, 1-6, 7-5.
Kvitova also won on the other side of the bracket, 6-4, 6-0 setting up match between the two.
So let's see how the other side on the bracket tomorrow. I still think that Halep will overcome Bencic in 3 sets.
Kuzmova tried hard in the first set but could not save it. Eventually Kvitova won and headed to the Semi. Now we have Halep and Svitolina left. Halep/Bencic will be starting in less than 45 mins. I hope Halep makes a clear win. |

Hey it seems their bad form has continued to effect them in this match too, they have already lost seven wickets for 201 runs I think they’re staring at another defeat.
Finally De Kock gone. The last partnership added 59 runs and most of the runs came from De Kock. Good for Sri Lanka that they got him. Now only two wickets left to take. Hope they can wrap it up. |

I just noticed it in espncricinfo. Ireland is betting after winning the toss and so far scored 22 runs without losing any wicket after 5.5 overs. In papers Afghanistan is favorite.

If you give him options then he can score runs. He is a top class batsman. Sri Lank needs to use the half chances to take the wickets. Every single runs are not good for them. De Kock is trying to add as much as he can. ~snip~
Should I tell it's their luck same as South Africa? Both of the teams play always play good cricket but in the world cup, they fail to achieve a title. I think they are in lack of some good combination. England should be a favorite one since they are the host country this time.

Missed too. I only watched till the century from Gayle. I was also expecting a win from West Indies but bad luck of them. Roy played quite good and England made it an easy win.
I wish England play the same kind of matches in the world cup too. Unfortunately in any world cup they could not make it to happen. They failed to get the title every time. What do you think is wrong with England when they go for big tournaments? |

West Indies managed to score a whooping 360 runs which I thought would be tough to chase it down but as of now, England seem to be on track with 254/2 in 33.2 overs. About 7 runs per over needed to win, but with 8 wickets in hand..if anyone of Morgan or Root stick around until the end, it should be an easy task.
Yeah I thought that 360 would be tough to chase but England are doing a great job right now batting and if they can keep it to just 2 wickets down by the 40th over then I think they have a big chance at winning. Root will be the key to England winning this as he is a very good player at keeping it together in tough situations. Holly molly! I was watching WI innings and I was quite confirm that they were going to win the match. Chasing 360 runs was never been easy. I think credit goes to the England top orders. Yes Correct. Bangladeshi team playing sloppy cricket in Nz . no one expecting them to do well. i am not supporter because what they did in Srilanka was shameless but but they can upset any team in their day.
I think in recent time Bangladesh is not doing well. May be they are missing their key player Sakib like the other user mentioned here. It will be interesting to see their moves before the World cup. |

Bangladesh is whitewashed by NZ as they lost 3 ODI.It is very hurtful for Bangladeshi fan because they were hoping for something good from the team.The only positive vibes from Bangladesh is Sabbir made hundred today.But top order batsman was very poor throughout the ODI series.
I was expecting a better match today but when NZ scored 330 then I gave up. Later when I saw Rahman was playing well then I watched the match for a while. The match was too hard for them when the top order did not perform well. I think in the entire series the top order failed so far. |

I think its gonna be one of the 4. Pliskova, Kvitova, Halep or Sabalenka. The court seems to be pretty fast and would surely help hard hitters. Kerber just lost to Hsieh.S and the top seed in Osaka is already out. Lets see how it goes. I'm personally rooting for Kvitova. She's been a little patchy as of now but hopefully she'll get into rhythm of things soon.
Kvitova, Kuzmova, Halep, Hsieh already secured the quarter-finals. Match in play Mladenovic vs Suarez still now sure who will win however Suarez ahead by taking the 1st set. I will be watching Riska vs Pliskova. I am thinking Pliskova will get a win. |
