To bad but on 0.4 you are out of luck without the wallet file.
9262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Robbed ! any advice ? BTC 33 on: February 28, 2018, 12:13:02 AM
You need to provide more info... what wallet did you use?

Like i said, there is till 11.9 BTC unspent and if you provide enough info we might figure out if this is one of your old wallet's change addresses or not.
9263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: please explain me on: February 28, 2018, 12:04:12 AM
They will probably ask you to pay to "reactivate the account"... if they do, this is a scam.
9264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Robbed ! any advice ? BTC 33 on: February 28, 2018, 12:03:10 AM
Was this a brain wallet?

I can see there is still 11.9 BTC unspent at this address: https://blockchain.info/address/137yraCHyyVRV69ssUbBooHsqUbp43WFSP that was sent from your address. With any luck this is one of your change addresses....
9265  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling and buying all cryptocurrencies with numerous payment methods on: February 27, 2018, 12:25:35 PM
I am looking to build a network that trades Bitcoin and all other cryptocurrencies, using as many payment methods as possible. I am seeking suppliers who have cryptocurrencies to sell, and will be paying 5-10% above market rate via any payment method you choose. Also I am looking to fulfill the needs of those trying to buy any type of cryptocurrency, I am a fast, reliable, and honest source for you to buy your coins. I am based in the United States and have bank accounts ready for transactions, using square cash, PayPal, wire transfer, and deposits, or any other payment method you may suggest. Also I can do crypto to crypto transactions for very low fees.

I am available 24/7 at 239-245-1411 & tantatova@gmail.com. I look forward to trading cryptocurrency with you!

You did not mention anything about escrow?
9266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I have my wallet.dat from a backup but I can't remember my passphrase on: February 27, 2018, 11:48:54 AM
How many words in the seed? 12?
9267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I have my wallet.dat from a backup but I can't remember my passphrase on: February 27, 2018, 11:45:36 AM
Wallet.dat is from Bitcoin Core, not from Electrum... are you sure this "wallet.dat" was from Electrum? Or are you simply basing that on the output from seed recovery?

Yes i'm sure.
How can i recover the private key from a wallet ?

Follow the instructions in the Link to get you private keys back.

- Install python 2.7 and select "Add python.exe to Path" during installation.
- Download ZIP of this repository. https://github.com/Dwerg/walletaid
- Unzip walletaid.
- Make a copy of wallet.dat and place in walletaid folder.
- Open config.ini and change parameters appropriate to the coin.
- Run "Extract keys.bat"
- Choose whether to dump all keys or search for specific key(s).
- If search is chosen, paste each indivudual address to seach for on a new line and click "OK".
- Open "foundkeys.txt" to see the recovered keys and addresses.

I don’t know the parameters for your specific wallet, but may you find them in the description.

If you are successful I would be thankful: ETH --> 0x7d276e21e5cfb239005a0158b9ebf52c3a266a2d   Grin

For myself it worked perfect with a ZClassic Wallet.
If you have issues, don’t hesitate to ask for support, may I (we) can help.

Did you read that OP has lost his password? Your method will not work without the password....
9268  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum - Newly installed but i had an old one on: February 27, 2018, 11:23:29 AM
Did you backup your private keys or seed or anything from your old harddisk before installing the new version? I really hope you did....
9269  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Having Problems Importing Private Key into Electrum on: February 26, 2018, 06:40:40 PM
So currently all the private keys you have start with t1? Do you have any other info like rootkey or seed or anything else?

https://bitcoin.org/bin/bitcoin-core-0.16.0/

Check the sha256sums.asc pgp yourself pls. I checked and with me the checksum was correct.

If i am correct this should have full Segwit support.

Segwit by default, and you can choose Bech32. Will install it right now Smiley

ps. someone have to change  this news:

Code:
News: Latest stable version of Bitcoin Core: 0.15.1 (https://bitcoin.org/en/download)

9278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: To Move Wallets one device to the other on: February 24, 2018, 02:11:40 AM
The most easy way would be to export all private keys and import them again to the new devic(es).

This only works if all the private keys are in the same format, example WIF.
9279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Can anybody help me recover a bip38 encrypted paper wallet? on: February 23, 2018, 11:46:56 AM
If it is a 24 char pass with upper, lowercase and numbers it should not take that long....
You clearly don't know BIP38 encryption, even 6 characters will be very expensive to brute-force!

i have a decent idea what the passphrase may be.
Can you share this?

If his password is one 24 char word and he knows part of it im sure that a good python script wont take long to crack it.
9280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Can anybody help me recover a bip38 encrypted paper wallet? on: February 23, 2018, 09:43:38 AM
If it is a 24 char pass with upper, lowercase and numbers it should not take that long.... Are 100% sure it is exactly 24 char? Does it have symbols like #, @,€...?
