In an hour or less we can find that they won this match because they have 9 wickets in hand with more than 25 overs to score 83 runs for me the match is already on SA's hand.
South Africa needs 69 more runs to win the match with 8 wickets remaining. This was a no interesting match. Srilanka batted poorly. Kock got lbw by Dhananjaya at 81, otherwise, the match would complete too faster.

The match is dead now. One sided. 49 runs from 119 now. I am not watching it anymore. Not much excitement today for cricket world. By the way, what are you predicting from the next ODI between India and Australia?
8522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 03, 2019, 12:59:43 PM
By the way, anyone watching Sri Lanka vs South Africa ODI?
Looks like this match is also going once side, after the good bowling performance from South Africa they just need 232 runs to win in 50 overs and currently they are in need of 4 runs per over to win, looks like the result can be found by now itself.
Yh De Kock and Du Plessis has already built up a strong partnership. I do not see anything there for South Africa to lose this match unless we see some unexpected great bowling from any of the Sri Lankan bowler. The South African's run rate is over 6 per over at the moment after 10 overs.

They are going for an easy win.

Not only that, but XRP is heading towards greater levels of decentralizatoin, while proof-of-work is on its way, quickly, towards complete centralization and risk of 51% attack: https://www.bis.org/publ/work765.htm
LOL XRP and decentralization?

Ripple lab can create as many XRP as they can out of thin air. Now tell me what is the difference to have XRP and Fiat currency? You need facts buddy. If a coin do not have risk of 51% attack then it's not a decentralized coin.

How you buy XRP?
You give your precise BTC to them and buy XRP. Imagine it's going to happen for everyone and there will be a time when Ripple will have the BTC and you will have valueless shit XRP and you won't find anyone to sell them. Can you smell the plan?

XRP is the misdirection of the cryptospace.

By the way, nothing personal. Good luck with whatever you are doing but just don't mislead the user of this forum with your XRP shit.

Always be careful who you believe on public forums and ALWAYS do your own research.
Exactly!

A game with a House Edge of 50%: If you buy all the tickets at 0.002BTC, you will be spending 2 BTC to win 1 BTC (50%).
I'm surprised if anyone really buy those tickets, you will be much better by playing in any crypto casino.

Compare:
Buy 1 ticket at 0.002BTC gives 0.1% chance of winning 1 BTC
But if you play "Dice" in any BTC casino, betting 0.002BTC at 0.1% chance is paying 1.987 BTC (house edge 1 %)

If the tickets were cheaper, it would have sense. 50% house edge is too much
I don't care if this become successful for them or not but I think they do have expenses.

Hosting,
Marketing
Affiliates
Managing

these are some expensed and they need to keep space for these expenses as well. As I said my only issue is the trust or I do not see anything wrong with this kind of games.

~snip~

Agree chances of winning are way better here as compared to national lottery. But again it becomes the part of trust as you are not sure how will the draw happen and if can be rigged as well and given to their known ones. Obviously no one would like to give to third party unless you know those who run them personally who are legitimate.
Trust is very big deal.

I have seen people to scam even $1 worth of Bitcoin in this forum.

Roger Federer - 20 majors
Nadal - 17
Djokavic - 15

Do you guys think that Nadal or Djokavic will be able to reach Roger Federer's majors record by the end of their careers?
I will pick Djokavic over Nadal. Problem with Nadal is his injuries where Djokavic is a very fit player. When it's Nadal Vs Djokavic, I always found Djokavic to win the matches comfortably. Imagine Djokavic is playing with the same ups and downs for the next five years. He will surely take more than 20 majors in Tennis.

Hey it’s only a matter of few days before IPL matches begin, I call it a gamblers paradise as gamblers all over the world can make huge amount of money with little efforts. I feel you’re comparing two different tournaments yesterday’s match was an ODI, while IPL is a T20 and MS Dhoni is not the finisher he once used to be. I feel it’s too early to say who’ll win as we will have to see recent injuries, which players will be there for full tournament and which will withdraw mid tournament.
I already kept some spare btc to gamble in IPL hehe.

I do agree that this is the most entertaining cricket event of the year for cricket fans. The T20 became popular because of this IPL. By the way guys, I am really waiting for more members in the pool I have created: BitcoinTalk IPL 2019 Prediction Pool | 0.005 BTC Entry Fee

We have one of the best trusted member minerjones who is our escrow so you guys can have peace in mind that the fund is safe. We need members to join the pool to find more members interested in Cricket. Let's make it an entertaining IPL.

This is we have in the current pot:

New Zealand won by an innings and 52 runs. Can't believe things have again changed within this short time. Well done by Mahmudullah and Soumyo Sorkar. Both of them have a century. Soumyo- 149, Mahmudullah- 146. Congrats NZ.

Well it was expected. Today or tomorrow they were going to lose despite the few centuries. Bangladesh lost the test after NZ scored the huge total in their first innings.

Good win for New Zealand. They are always good in their soil.

By the way, anyone watching Sri Lanka vs South Africa ODI?

Who said that you can not fix it. Use an APNG image. You just need to convert the GIF image to APNG. Here is a tool for you: https://ezgif.com/apng-maker

Check my avatar it also looks GIF but it's an APNG. Anyway, don't hesitate to PM me if you need any help. I will be more than happy to help.

Bitches Kedar Jadhav is a man of the match.

I didn't watch the whole match(a couple of over of second innings) but i have seen bowling scorecard.
It was a low scoring match but a good and entertaining one. Dhoni and Jadhav finally made it. A good win for India. By the way, in other match between WI vs England, England lost 3 wickets so far but I think this will be another high scoring match. May be England will win.
8532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 02, 2019, 03:32:31 PM

MS Dhoni and Kedar Jadhav both on magnificent strike and MSD looking his fifty. India needs another 43 runs in next 42 balls, so an easy victory over Australia as expected!
Yh seems like an easy win ahead for India. Dhoni is still playing, Jadhav got his fifty and playing very smart cricket. I do not see anything for India not to win this match.

Good wishes for them.

Chasing 237 , India started the innings well but OZ came back strongly in the match and now India still require 113 runs in 20 overs and still 6 wickets are left. Dhoni and Jadhav are batting . If they can put another 50 runs partnership the chase will become easy for India.

India lost some quick wickets. The Australians bowled very well to take those wickets. They deserve the credit. Just now Dhoni got a life. Stoinis was could not carry the follow throw.

Anyway, I still think India will win.

My feedback to patrickrandy, I was unable to post it in his feedback page.

Blown away by the users kindness. He needed help to get his fund back from Bestmixer.io and offered to pay someone who can recover the funds a 25% recovery fee  (about $65).

I was volunteering to help him without expecting anything in return but I did post my btc address without any hope in my wild dream. People come to this platform but eventually they leave when they get what they ask for. Very few occasion people like patrickrandy keeps their words.

He sent me the compensation he was promised.

Thanks for the manner bud.

That should be the human error and that guy was insrting incorrect number. That's the old case already happened. The only important thing to remember if we must try to do double check to the gas fees before try to send any amount.
That was not human error but planned. Have you checked these?

You are in the wrong place bud I am afraid. This is a Bitcoin forum not a forum to shill XRP. XRP is not a decentralized which so it does not fit the definition of crypto currency in the first place.
8537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: extremes in fees on: March 02, 2019, 12:50:46 PM
It is already discussed on couple of threads in our forum. But nothing problem with any one other than who initiated this transaction. So he need to face the consequences of any mistakes made by him.I am not sure what we can discuss here more, just use the wallet which having default fee if you don't understand gas of Ethereum transaction.
Good to see that the OP woke up hehe

Check
Be careful with your blockchain transactions
Somebody paid $310,000 in transaction fee to send 0.1eth
Ethereum Fees: $300k is Charged for Sending $14 ETH
Are miners laundering money or these are honest mistakes by senders.

Cheers :-)

I am seeing good progress despite the doubt we have here. I see there are a lot of members who suggested escrow for the safety of the fund but no sure if the OP is still up for that. Anyway, good to see the spots are filling out. 19 filled up so far. Good number.

~snip~

This is where we need to think sensibly because greed is something which if we can control things will only become better for us. And we fall in this trap of greed seeing lucrative 1 btc then we know what are the chances of our winning as compared to others.

If you buy 1 spot then your chances are 1/1000 which is way better than the national lottery. The big hesitation here is that trusting the OP where in NL you trust them.
8539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 02, 2019, 10:52:51 AM
No international T20 today so this topic will be silent today hehe

By the way India fans, India Vs Australia first ODI discussion is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1135451.msg49985653#msg49985653

And my bet is for India.

Australia is batting at 171/5 in 39 overs. Maxwell is continuing his last form and batting at 39 in 45 balls. If he stays for another 5-6 overs he can turn the match bu hitting some quick runs. India would like to get him out as early as possible.

Australia just lost Maxwell 40 runs from 51 balls. Shami bowled him and Australia is 6 down. Things are looking good for India even the bookies are showing confidence that India will win this match.
