961  Economy / Services / Re: [BitRoulette] Revolutionary signature campaign | Get paid every 10 days! on: August 31, 2014, 10:48:07 AM
take it easy man, maybe he busy right now.. he already tell maybe 1-2days for payment
read this:
Collecting payment:

You can request payment by filling this form out, I will personally count your posts and deduct shares because of cuts for off-topic and spammy threads [bibinka word game etc.]
GDocs are public and people which fill the forms out first will get paid first, since I'm doing everything manually if a lot of people apply it might take me 1-2 days to pay everyone.

The first pay date will be 30th August 2014.
Second pay date 6th September
Third 16th September etc.

just let us know when you'll start sending the payment.
962  Economy / Services / Re: [BitRoulette] Revolutionary signature campaign | Get paid every 10 days! on: August 31, 2014, 02:51:59 AM
Are we supposed to fill out that form again each payday or was that just for enrollment?

it looks like every payday we'll have to fill the form if we want our payment. Maybe OP can clear things up when he'll reconnect.
963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC2] Einsteinium | Funding the future with the future of currency on: August 31, 2014, 02:18:24 AM
The developer stopped responding to me and I am at a loss. Since I am not a developer and cannot fund one, I am willing to donate 100% of my personal holdings to a new team / developer for the coin. That's 2 million EMC2 to whichever group is capable it doing something with the coin. Anything I can do to help, I will be around to give the information necessary.

Otherwise, I know a dev who will take 1 million emc2 to create a new webkit wallet for the coin which would then work alongside a new website which hosted crowd funded projects.

Honestly, I've invested a lot of time and money into the coin and have reached a point of depression when it comes to trying to fix the sinking ship. If I had time to work on the coin exclusively, I could piece together a solid team and bust my ass around the clock. I'm just not in the financial position to keep spending money on something without getting results.

I can step aside, resign, hand over a few million coins. Or I can get the webkit wallet out and start deving the new site. Either way, I'd love to see a new community effort and people stepping forward to make things happen for Einsteinium.

The last few attempts to bring back the coin have hurt my pockets and my reputation, as well as the coins value. Because of my failure, I leave my role and fate in EMC2 with you guys. You are the deepest supporters. Let me help do whatever I can to make this all work out.

Best decision you could make for the coin right now. When things doesn't turn like we want them to and we don't have the time and energy to work things out. The best things to do is step aside. A good team will take over the coin and will bring it back to is past glory. Leading a coin can't be done by only one person. You did a great job at the beginning, now it's our turn to continue the job.
964  Economy / Services / Re: [BitRoulette] Revolutionary signature campaign | Get paid every 10 days! on: August 30, 2014, 10:41:06 PM

I'd like to get some more ASIC, but don't want to pay the electricity costs. I switched to those two Furies (and stopped using two Radeon 7850 GPUs) and my electric bill went down $20 per month. I don't want it creeping back up. I'm cheap!! Smiley

I hear you. I am running 3 x Hurricane x3's + 1 Lightning X6....  and an 12,000 BTU air conditioner full time to cool the room they are in. It ain't cheap...  and with DGB it's all out of pocket right now obviously. But... that's the thrill of high-risk speculative investment. If it hits you're rich...  if not, well...  you're not. Let's hope DGB is the former  Cheesy

From the looks of people's opinions and comments in the crypto blog sphere and of crypto price trends (and really being honest about it given that mining cryptocurrencies has been a losing proposition for months now) I've come to the conclusion that, if you're really going to be realistic about it, you've got to expect at least half of all "listed" cryptos to be dead in no more than 6 months time. I think that we can all take a quick look around and draw up our 'short lists' in a matter of minutes (if not seconds). And when I say this, I'm not using the trolling term "dead" lightly - I really mean it (and I think my 50% figure is a very cautious figure).

I made the decision long ago to only mine cryptos that I thought had a good chance of surviving long term (otherwise mining has no rational justification at this point in time), and DigiByte is one of the few on my list of long term survivors (and price will eventually follow the survivors).

Baring unforeseen catastrophy, DGB will be worth 100's if not 1000's of times what it's worth today . . . someday. Wink

Totally agree with you.

+1

Are we getting BTC directly sent to our wallets or are we getting those shares?

supposed to be BTC, shares are just to show how he pay for the campaign.

with the way the devs are working, it's one of the most interesting high-risk speculative investment out there.
Devs don't only talk, they act. They show that they want DGB to be useful, which is really interesting when we look at other coins where the dev disappear after a week.

There are known problems with bfgminer, the zeus chips (fury) and some pools.

I have never seen an explanation for the reason behind the issue ... but if you use a compatible version of cgminer they seem to work on all pools.

I have two GAW Fury. I use a Linux version of cgminer (3.1.1) that's compatible with Zeus chips. Seems like everything out there is for Windows, I had to do a bit of searching to find a Linux version.

I run several Zeusminers.... I use Raspberry Pi, running Minepeon 0.2.4.6 and I compiled cgminer 4.3.5 from here...  works perfectly:

https://github.com/dmaxl/cgminer/

i don't have enough fury/blizzard, so i use my computer with windows7 on it. If i ever get more, i'll get a controller or a raspberry pi to handle everything.

anyone want to put some hash at : http://dgb.blazinghashes.com/index.php i'm feeling lonely right now  Tongue, could be great to find 1 or 2 blocks to help the networks and get a payment.

Devs keep up the good works  Grin

I can switch some hash over later today but, I just logged and see I have 200 DGB unconfirmed from several weeks ago. Would like to get that fixed first if possible...  (RJF19)

Blazinghashes is not updated,  i have about 23.000 dgb uncomfirmed right now.

@ jared, Is this because of the update?

Jared can confirm, but in theory ...

They will be ok as long as they were mined before 145,000 and you transfer them out to your own wallet or an exchange before block 145,000.

Blazing saddles requires 100 confirms, so at current rates that will take about 6 hours for them to be confirmed and available to transfer, well before block 145,000.

If you want to be double sure, when they are confirmed send 100 or so to your wallet ... if they arrive without a problem send the rest ... but make sure you do it before block 145,000!

Thank you NZ,  i will try later this day when they are confirmed.

Now i'm @ cryptopoolmining just to make sure nothing is lost @ 0.9 gh/s Cheesy.

Unocoin Update

Hey community,
As I said a few days back that would be meeting to progress our media attention and discuss some developments.
Just got a call from their founder that they would meet me tomorrow,  Sunday at 05:30am UTC 11am IST.
The core part of this meeting would be to get some articles on us on a few local newspapers and to discuss on a new development technique to improve sfrpay or just implement it as a new feature. The founder said he would provide a small website and make use of Unocoin backend for transactions for this feature. I could not understand it properly on phone but now would ask him directly.
I will request him to mention a bit about us on their website. That would give us a lot of exposure since they are the ones that are leading bitcoin awareness in India.
Over here, if anyone wants to know more about bitcoin, they approach them first.

Cheers

Roshan

Good news, if you ever need an articles to be translate in french, let me know.

SFR is a really good altcoin i have ever seen. The dev is working hard and the community do things together.I think SFR is next BTCD!

Thanks mate! But we would like to think that we are going to be first of many and set the trend for others to follow. The Market and mainstream focus together with Unocoin deal and getting recognition from top local media and Govt. will certainly distinguish us from all other altcoins.

You are already one of a kind, there's coin with hard working devs but none have worked and completed that much in so little time. If other coins follow the trend you are creating (making alt coins more easy to use), crytpo will gain a bigger acceptance (that's what crypto world lacks right now, easy to use programs(wallets)). Keep up the good works, you are creating your own path and i'll keep my rig mining this coins because of that. I support evolution not copy/paste.  Grin
979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [SFR] SaffronCoin | Decentralized Market, Exchange, Email on: August 30, 2014, 07:28:16 AM
SFR should have a tipping bot ( fb/reddit/twitter) to bring awareness. What do you guys say ?

We need the community to be active on fb and reddit, dev are already active on twitter. On reddit, it's dead, we need to spread the word about sfr.
