961  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can old trading strategies work again? on: March 21, 2023, 02:54:50 AM
has any old trading strategy that you decided to apply work for you? Is it possible that old strategies may work in the future again?
The market does not exist by itself and it needs market participants as well as their cash/ capital flow to exist.

In all markets, the psychology of market cycles is not changed so strategies will work. The game just repeats itself over time because market participants don't change their psychology over time. Generally things don't change but applying strategies successfully depends on each person.

962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how much money is considered as "invest only what you can afford to lose" on: March 20, 2023, 01:25:37 PM
If i talk about mine , money i can afford to lose is so small for many people that will be 100xed then also I will make profit worth buying 2 cycles.
If you chase for such 100x investment, the more cycles (repetitions) you do it, the more loses you will get from your risk-chasing game.

I don't recommend anyone to do this in this market especially if you are newbies. It is risk-chasing game so you should never spend more than 1% of your capital for that game.

How much is it will depends on your total capital. If your total capital is $1000, you should use $10 for that 100x risk-chasing game. Focus on investment in Bitcoin and try to stay away from 100x, 200x altcoin games.

I'm trying to understand your concern for players who play regularly, especially if large funds are involved the comfort of later being required to have KYC might be better, but fulfilling KYC at the beginning because it's easier than if it's in the middle or when you're about to make a withdrawal, that's something new for me
I am hesitating to use new platforms because I don't know they have back doors that are risky for me and my identity as well as money. I am not ready to submit KYC on a new platform because why I have to leak my information even I don't know I will use that platform for too long.

However, it is different thinking if it is a big platform and I actually decide to actually use it for my trading or gambling. If their Terms of service, KYC/AML policy have terms to require KYC at some points, I would like to submit KYC and wait for successful verification before I start to use my account and make deposit to my account. It is safer for me and at least I have belief that I won't lose money because my KYC is failed.

Of course, if a platform is scam, they can run anytime later even I verified successfully but it is more common with new platforms.

You're seems like saying KYC casino is taking advantage to force their user to submit KYC when the gambler joined a promotion, but that's a way for the casino to know if the participants weren't using multiple accounts because it's not fair to the other gamblers.
Casinos do have tools to detect gambler information from IP address, device information used for login and betting, betting pattern and more so that they are able to detect suspicious cheating accounts. Sometimes they don't need KYC information to conclude multi-accounts or cheating.

I think for promotion and small bonus events, KYC is not necessary to conclude cheating cases. KYC is only helpful for complicated cases with too big capital and casino need to have it to handle cases very confidently to avoid exploitation on their budget as well avoid unnecessary damage on their reputation by wrong initial handle.

Quote
Simple, if you're worried about KYC, just gamble with small amount money and don't join any promotion or free money/spin, the casino wouldn't ask you to submit KYC since your account have normal activities.
It's true to read rules of events like free spins before joining it. If you see rules are not attractively good enough or contains some requirements you don't like because you see it violates your privacy, simply ignore those events.
965  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The value of bitcoin remains the same on: March 18, 2023, 10:22:58 AM
That's an important point from a different angle. You can look at a fiat dollar bill. But you can't look at the fiat Bitcoin. So, which one really has more "substance?"
The inflation chart and future supply of Bitcoin is opposite with circulating supply of the US. dollar.

The Fed’s $1.5 trillion loan injection, explained. $1.5T and FED have yet stopped printing new US. dollar into its circulation supply.

This is the best example of how our fiat right now, $1 is no $1 ($1 != $1).
Governments don't change their minds and they are free to print more money from small to big countries. Big countries look to are stronger than small countries to control their economic and financial collapses that happen with hyper inflation in small countries like Venezuela.

The highest inflation rate in recent years was achieved in Venezuela in 2019. The inflation rate there was 9,586 percent. I don't expect to see any inflation rate nearly that one in big nations like the USA, UK as if it occurs, it would occur in a Greatest Recession in history.

Well, they still have a live chat where you can ask a question, but you need to register to get an answer. I tried to ask there if the casino has a twitter account, to which I was asked why I need their twitter account and later I got the answer that they don't have a twitter account. When asked if the casino is located on the territory where Twitter is banned, Elli replied to me that they are a licensed casino whose license data can be seen on the front page
First it is good to see you get quick responses from their live chat. It means their live chat is actually live, not dead.
Second it's good to have confirmation that they did not have Twitter account yet. From their website, likely they did not have any account on any social media platform. I don't mind about Facebook or Discord but Twitter is good for them to go.

If they don't want to buy Twitter Blue that is not expensive for a casino budget, they can create a normal Twitter account. However with Twitter Blue, their account will look more legit and it's better for their business.
967  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the first success story on: March 18, 2023, 09:17:34 AM
I did not give up hope. I was so patient that the price of Bitcoin would go up I knew. And researched Bitcoin.
It is your money and it is your decision after your research. I congratulate you for your early or first success with your Bitcoin investment. However, let me send you a reminder. Getting profit in cryptocurrency market is easy, sometimes more easily than you think BUT protecting your profit and your capital in this market is MORE DIFFICULT.

Perhaps you have yet known about it and have yet experienced about it but time will help you understand.

I shared an incident that happened to me. If any such incident happens to you, please let us know.
The only thing I never believe in anyone who only share about their success in this market but never told about their failures, loses make me less believe in their stories. If you are newbies, your story can be true but if you are in this market a few years and never had any loses, that story is untrue.
968  Economy / Gambling / Re: RoyalStarsCasino.com | Crypto Fastest Growing Casino | Best No Wagering of 375% on: March 18, 2023, 09:09:30 AM
After browsing the online casino site, I didn't find any links to your social networks anywhere, maybe of course I searched badly, but really you don't even have a Twitter account, which is quite strange for a domain that will soon turn one year old or are you just at the beginning of your marketing?
I did not find links to social media networks on the landing page and on Contact us page. To Contact the team, the only information is available at the website is their email address.

I agree with you that having Twitter account is necessary for any platform that accept cryptocurrency to have better exposure to the cryptocurrency community and advertisement. Nowadays it is not hard to get Twitter Blue like in the past, after big changes from Elon Musk and his team months ago.

I'd love to see Royalstarscasino supports many payment methods and give users Instant withdrawal according to https://www.royalstarscasino.com/en/info/payment-methods

If we look at the bitcoin chart we can see that the trend is exactly the opposite, so we have to forget about volatility and think about what will happen in the years to come. The longer the time horizon, the more purchasing power fiat currencies will lose and the more bitcoin will gain.
Because Bitcoin and fiat currencies have different inflation charts. They are all inflationary and Bitcoin is not deflationary as many people thought.

However Bitcoin is created at less and less production rate compares to increasing printing rates of fiat currencies. The differences are big enough to disguise people that Bitcoin is deflationary.

Bitcoin controlled supply is shown by a Bitcoin inflation vs time chart.
970  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The value of bitcoin remains the same on: March 17, 2023, 01:41:18 AM
Its really junking hearing saying bitcoin has lost its values
Like everything, Bitcoin can has a rise or fall in its value. How is it valued defined and accepted by people?

By its usability, its finance design which are most important things for its value. Without good usability, use cases, no value at all. Without solid finance design (total supply, inflation design), it will be over created (inflated) and will lose its value with time like fiat currency.

The purchasing power of the US. dollar over time

I can not say certainly about future of Bitcoin but you must have knowledge about it, experience with it then belief will come to you.

The bullish case for Bitcoin can enlighten you.

Thanks a lot boys! Really appreciate the kind words, haha. The first one worked quite well, after Real winning 1-0 tonight. Betting is fun, if you win!  Cheesy

Source: Sportsbet.io
Real Madrid would win bigger but with unlucky and inaccurate finishes as well as some good saves from Liverpool goalkeeper Alison Becker, Real Madrid could not score more than one goal. Real Madrid totally dominated the match and they would have won bigger than just a minimal win.

With older Modric and Kroos, Camavinga will play more important role in next season and maybe Modric will end his time in Madrid after this season.

Sweet 2.25 mBTC! I take that, haha! Let's see how it goes with the Europa League tomorrow.
Am I the only one surprised that Serie A clubs are very successful in Champions League this season. They have 3 clubs in quarter final round and will their clubs can continue this impression in Europa League? Roma and Juventus look are good to be two Serie A clubs will go to next round of Europa League.

I am not sure why you have a two year break from 2021 to 2023 and when come back, you made this topic.

ChatGPT can answer a question "How to earn merit?"

Merit & new rank requirements and Welcome message has good words to learn about that too.

If you search, you will surely find many topics about it and this topic is unnecessary.
973  Economy / Speculation / Re: Experience about trading in btc on: March 13, 2023, 11:00:09 AM
If I have a house 🏠 and I want to sell them and the money invest in trading in bitcoin
It's one of worst decisions and did you think what you will do if your investment ends with loss?

My experience is you will very easily to change from initial plan for investment to trading or a mixture of investment and trading. Changing your plan to trading or mixture of trading and investment will make you more sensitive to market volatility that will cause you more loss.

What if selling a house and lose all or most of that money after a few months or one to two years? Will you suicide?

Yes, bitcoin can be highly profitable, but it can also disappear at any time, with high returns and high risk.
It's very profitable for people who do right with it. Buying, holding and waiting patiently for chance to take good profit. It's profitable for holders and investors, not for traders or gamblers.
974  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: March 13, 2023, 10:48:33 AM
That's why I ask here bro, I'm tired of hearing the same answer every time I ask them but after someone told me here it took 2 weeks then I didn't ask anymore, I would come back after 2 weeks, that's a good idea right?  Actually the main problem is that my withdrawal was not processed before KYC was verified if my withdrawal was processed then I would not care when my KYC was approved  Cheesy After all I will continue to follow the process I know  Duelbits have a good reputation here.
Investigation takes time and it is different case by case. Like when you submit KYC and platform verifies your KYC, it can be done automatically by third party software or by manual verification. Manual verification usually takes more time to complete and it often takes longer time if you have to do advanced or due diligence KYC.

It also has to go to in depth investigation if a casino has some evidence that you break their rules. They will investigate deeply to make sure when they make decision, it would be correct.

That's quite long if the process will take 2 weeks and I do know your feeling about the period of the process. From what I've read and known before, it differs per user and there's no exact period of time for the process. So those that have been approved within less than a day probably the requests and compliance weren't that much. But despite that, you're in good hands just as you've said with Duelbits. Just keep us updated in here on how long it took.
Duelbits have good reputation when they handle user cases and even with disputes or appeals, if cases are solid, they don't reject to pay users for their win bets or proceed withdrawal for users.

Duelbits have their representative in the forum as well and that user should not feel fearful about lack of support from Duelbits. Wait patiently for the case result.
975  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biden on Brink of 2nd US Bank Bailout on: March 13, 2023, 04:41:58 AM
Are we seeing the beginning of the domino affect on US AND ALL GLOBAL BANKS?! Is the USD going to finally collapse? I don't think just yet, the FED is going to pull some strings to delay yet again but how much longer can they hold up the inevitable?
We likely will see domino effects in a branch of bank industry with similar model of Silicon Valley Bank, Silvergate, Signature bank. However I don't think the domino effect will be expanded to banks with different models and are healthier than those bankrupted banks. FED and FDIC are trying to resolve the crisis and prevent domino effects to other banks especially banks with different operational models.

Silver and Gold are being purchased like crazy, and people are buying more Bitcoin too the price is going up as we speak. What an insane week for the markets. Surely BTC has a chance for a huge upswing. I mean honestly this is looking very BULLISH for BTC, is it not?
I don't think it will make big effect on Bitcoin. Do you see in 2020 when WHO announced pandemic, people panic sold bitcoin. Later they think that pandemic gave Bitcoin chances and it rose up. Honestly, Bitcoin grows with time because of its design against centralization, hyper inflation. Governments, financial recession, collapses are only one of many things which can contribute for Bitcoin growth in long term.

In short term, risk is always here.
976  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: March 11, 2023, 01:36:11 PM
Well. It’s really hard to chase a profit when you had many losses because you are already in negative. You will need to chase lose before you even chase profit on this instance.  Cheesy
If you continue to chase for profit when you are in a bad lose streak, you are a truly gambler and are likely an addictive gambler that you should never be. Gambling responsible means you know when to stop gamble and control yourself.

Quote
Besides chasing anything is not good because it will just pressure you to play without thinking carefully because you are too focus on chasing instead of just playing without string attached. Human error is always at play whenever we are rushing things that’s why chasing profit or lose at any conditions you have is not good.
It is true. Even having a win streak does not mean that good streak will last forever so you must determine yourself that when you will stop gambling. Like if you decide to bet 10 or 20 times a day, lose or win, you stop gambling because that day is finished with you.

Complete a max bet for a day and your job or your entertainment is done, no matter you win or lose after all.
977  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the US government about to sell over $1 billion worth of Bitcoin? on: March 11, 2023, 11:54:27 AM
I agree with you that it’s unusual for them to send all of that BTC to Coinbase. I haven’t heard anything about an imminent auction though. It seems like they definitely are looking at cashing it out. Otherwise I don’t see why they would have sent it there at all. Hopefully they aren’t but you never know when it comes to the government. Common sense would say to wait two more years but…
What are their plans?

Sell all those bitcoins at once or sell them gradually on the market, maybe if they do it gradually people will feel less fearful about that. However think of it as risk and chance.

Risk is for people who are over leveraging at the moment or in latest past and they still let their leveraged positions open. They are risk takers and I am sure they would feel panic about that news.

Chance is for people who don't use leverage and wait patiently for such fud or black swan events to get very barely seen discounts from the market and weak hands to accumulate more bitcoins with cheaper price.
978  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] Biden budget proposes 30% tax on crypto mining electricity usage on: March 10, 2023, 05:31:52 AM
I speculated about this before
I remembered they revealed their intention to do this two years ago if I am not wrong. There are some states in the USA. months ago announced that they did not plan to ban cryptocurrency mining entirely, they only want to control it and get tax from it.

Quote
United States crypto miners could eventually be subject to a 30% tax on electricity costs under a budget proposal by President Joe Biden aimed to “reduce mining activity.”

Read in full https://cointelegraph.com/news/biden-budget-proposes-30-tax-on-crypto-mining-electricity-usage
The fact is in the USA. that proposal won't easily to be passed. We know that in the USA. Congress, there are increasing Senators support Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. The number of such Senators increases with time that is a good signal for this industry.

I really believe that there will be no completely ban on Bitcoin or cryptocurrency.

This part is completely a shit show but we know it for years, they failed to accept and say a fact.
Quote
the Treasury claimed the energy consumption of crypto mining operations “has negative environmental effects

Anyone want to discover fact, check in Bitcoin Mining Council's Q4 2022 report and BitcoinCleanUp's Bitcoin is already using clean energy

The current crypto crunch mechanics is a bit inferior to the Bitcasino Road to riches tournament which is the crypto crunch tournament counterpart. I just hope that they will adjust the rules because many players on Livecasino is playing live games. I rarely play slot these days due to my bad luck.
Slot games are interesting and addictive but it's not easy to win them and players must be highly responsible with money they use to gamble in slot games.

There must be a reason why Livecasino decide to change the rules and lowered down the prize for the crypto crunch tournament.
If I have to guess, perhaps the reason is because the statistic for all the past crypto crunch tournament shows that there were more slot players compared to live casino players.
It is for all time stats not current or latest stats like last week, last month so slot players with higher amount of bets have higher chances to appear at top of leaderboard.

Quote
Anyway although I'm a slot players, but I have never participated in this crypto crunch tournament since it is a wagering contest which is not my thing.
Dont lose a hope, maybe after several more tournament, Livecasino will have crypto crunch for Live Casino games only.
Livecasino is owned by same team of Sporstbet.io and Bitcasino.io but it is another brand with different products and surely their team will have different promotion and advertisement plans for Livecasino. With years of experience and great success from Sportsbet.io and Bitcasino.io, they will have enough ability to build up another great successful Livecasino.
980  Local / India / Re: India's money laundering rules to apply to Crypto Trade - Gov't notification on: March 09, 2023, 01:36:19 AM
The Ministry of Finance India f*** it up by using a phrase "virtual digital assets". Virtual is used when people especially governments want to build up something really vague around cryptocurrencies. They use this term to prevent their citizens to start off their interest in cryptocurrency as well as actually try to experience and use it.

How will government (Ministry of Finance India) know that two people are exchanging their bitcoin or other cryptocurrency at Bisq (no KYC)?
I doubt that they will be able to build up technical tools to find those trades.

This news is not strange with India that is one of the most fluctuating and chaotic countries in their regulations on cryptocurrencies. Two other nations are China and Russia.
