Pyramining:
I noticed that it is possible to nullify everyone else's referral links without depositing BTC. I think this could become a problem if it already hasn't.
If referrals would only expire once BTC are deposited, it might keep everyone a little bit more honest.
I think it would be kind of cheap if your account said it had a 10% and then right as you're about to deposit some BTC it's 5%. Yeah, there's a problem that occurs when it basically becomes an (unknown) race as to who can deposit and get their BTC confirmed first. And what happens if two accounts that register with that referral both have their deposits confirmed at the same time? Perhaps you can just keep the existing one-account-per-referral scheme, but have the referral link reactivate and the registered (empty) account deleted after 5 or so days of no deposits? That's a good point. I think 30 minutes would be plenty of time. Otherwise, it's not really worth the effort. I update my referrals at least daily. If they reactivated in 5 days, it woudn't do a whole lot. If, say, the time is 30 minutes, then also there must be a 30 minute delay before new referrals are generated. An interesting dilemma, may not even be worth changing? It was a little bit tempting however, when this company first announced itself and there were lots of referrals, to go through and activate everyone else's (a.k.a. psy's) links by simply clicking them and giving a dummy address (I didn't do it though)

Not wasting time on the video but its a well known legal theory that the state is what evolves when organised crime syndicates compete. First you have anarchy, then warlords and then one wins and that's your new government.
Exactly.

Wow, not a single taker. I think what made it pointless for me was there was no minimum increment. Make it a minimum 10% increment to have a valid bet, and I'll be your first player just for kicks.
Then the last few seconds would be pointless

In the short-term we're about flat because we had to pay up to get higher-yielding assets, but only by sacrificing about a couple weeks of future gains.
As of yesterday when I updated the NAV each share was valued at 1.0755 BTC, -cyto
I'm guessing many will regret not investing more here. Yes, this looks very promising. I will reinvest more when I can. Too bad I was in a hurry to get out. Better snatch up those .90 cent shares while you can.

Once upon a time, David_Benz (a.k.a. I_Sell_Bitcoins) sold me my very first bitcoin on this forum with paypal. But even after that, I was very suspicious of his long term intentions. Changing his handle and his sudden donor status was a big red flag to me. This behaviour absolutely does not surprise me.
I believe I remember pm'ing Matthew N.W. about him, because he shared a similar sentiment at one point.
I hope his account was hacked so that this is not really him, and that I regret posting this comment.
Have you read his profile lately? Gender: Female Age: N/A Location: YOU JUST GOT HACKED Local Time: June 27, 2012, 10:18:30 PM This ain't good. ...ahem...

Hello All, I'm a Florida based attorney and privacy consultant. I've been interested in digital cash issues since attending the first Financial Cryptography conference in Anguilla in 1997. I'm considering accepting BTC for services and so I've joined the board to learn more about the market and economics of bitcoin. R. Jason Cronk rjc@privacymaverick.comWelcome! I hope you find it a useful place.

Why would I want to withdraw in dollars? When I want something I buy it with BTC. That's why I bought them with dollars in the first place.
Not all merchants accept BTC yet. And just as I sometimes have need to convert USD to EUR GBP JPY etc, it's good for a currency if you can easily convert it to other currencies. Therefore, I think it's important to have the ability to convert BTC in other currencies quickly and easily. You'd be amazed at how many merchants still accept fiat currencies as payment.lol

I think we need to play it again when this one is over, but this time have the deadline set like 5 blocks away. Otherwise the extra time is just a formality

Yes, that was solely me. I sold what, 10 shares over the last few days? liquidity was terrible it I had to get out for cheap. I still have share in the fund, and I think it will be a success. Always consider the volume. Now would be a great time to get in for cheap.
