963  Economy / Economics / Re: Fix the money, Fix the world. on: July 07, 2023, 08:08:49 AM
Even if Bitcoin is fully adopted, the disparity between rich and poor will never disappear. Because if Bitcoin is fully adopted in a country then the rich people in that country will have relatively more Bitcoins because they have more money. And the poor people of that country will have very little BTC and no one will have BTC at all because if they don't have money, where will they get BTC because they have to convert their own money through BTC and there is no way to earn BTC separately. Adoption of Bitcoin may change the financial status of a country but the disparity between rich and poor will always remain.

Well, with Bitcoin adoption there is one fundamental change which is its limited supply which cannot be increased. What happens now is that the authorities and the government will print paper money, which unevenly distributes the money. The rich become more richer and the poor become more poorer.

Contrary to this, with bitcoin, there would be no inflation and hence the poor will not become more poorer and the governments won't be printing money (bitcoins) in order to increase their wealth. Everyone will have to work equally hard to accumulate bitcoins and there will be no injustice in the society.
964  Other / Meta / Re: Is it allowed to post in English in a Local Section on: July 07, 2023, 07:01:51 AM
Recently I came across a query where I suggested that We cannot post in the "All English" language in a local board or it is not recommended at least.

Yes, i know that if the posts are a mixture of English & local language, then it is fine. Even if some posts are being done in pure English, they are ok but if a person has a post history where he only insists to speak in English on a local board, what do the rules of bitcointalk say in this regard?
Local board is basically created for local communication of a country and there are different rules for local board but there are many local board also see English post but I don't know how logical it is. I think since the local board consists only of people from the local country, it is reasonable to use the language of your country there. Maybe some local boards use English for their personal reasons or purposes and I don't have the knowledge or information to explain them, so I'm not making any deep comments yet here.

Many countries treat English as a second language and most of the people in those countries can easily understand and speak English. So I don't think there should be any problem if English posts are mixed with the local language posts (as long as the local board people have no objection to it).

Technically, we are allowed to post in English, but it is recommended to use the local language in the local board, especially the locals who have a grip on the local language should promote their language.

966  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcointalk; a school on its own. on: July 07, 2023, 05:16:23 AM
I am still enjoying this forum. I visit daily but don't post just see the posts and try to learn more. Let me you said it as a school so it is likely looking like a school like you will see different sections here which are separating different topics. Means I am learning much here.

I consider this behavior to be one of the correct ones for beginners. It would be correct to read some of the nuances that exist on the forum, including the forum rules, and understand how and why to start creating topics with questions at a time when there is such a feature as search, and only after that connect to discussions.
But unfortunately, we often see newcomers incapable of anything who complain about strict rules and underestimation of their efforts, which of course resembles the behavior of schoolchildren who come to first grade. Independence is one of the character traits that will help beginners better master the forum.

Basically, those who complain about the bitcointalk rules are usually the ones whose motive is to earn from this forum instantly. Learning and getting knowledge is not their priority.
However, anyone who is serious to get information regarding cryptocurrencies, he/she won't find more depth knowledge anywhere than on this forum. Just need to have a habit of reading and self-learning, and the newbies (and everyone else too) can gain a lot of benefits and information.
967  Economy / Speculation / Re: Less than 300 days left to halving - price predictions for The Day? on: July 06, 2023, 05:08:15 PM
We still have a few months of preparation to accumulate Bitcoin little by little in our wallets. A lot can happen in the market to be honest. Then I also see that many investors are already preparing for this matter, especially the whale investors right now I think they are ready and really positioned for that time.

That's why we as ordinary community investors should do the same so that at least we don't get zero on the day of Bitcoin's bull run.

If you are still thinking that prices will drop and then you will accumulate bitcoin, then you are wrong. Bitcoin already has moved from 16K to 31K and slowly and steadily it is moving toward its all time high. If you have this approach to catching the exact low, you may keep waiting and bitcoin price will reach its all time high or even more.

The best thing you can do is to buy some Bitcoin at the current price, and if the prices move down, do the DCA and buy more. In this way, you will get prepared for the next bull season and at the same time, you will not lose the train in case the bitcoin price move high from this point.
968  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Education and money as the key to Bitcoin adoption. on: July 06, 2023, 03:22:10 PM
Lack of education, technical knowledge, and awareness has been the major challenge for Bitcoin enthusiasts, it is high time we kick-start the mass eradication of Bitcoin illiteracy in our society, preach about Bitcoin, but don't force it on anyone,

This group of people might not have access to an internet service to get involved in this technology or even funds to invest but for sure many of them want the knowledge to prepare them for future possible investments.

One of the factors regarding slow Bitcoin adoption is the lack of support from the government. If government encourages the use of Bitcoin, believe me, the bitcoin adoption will double at the rate at which it is going now.

Anyhow, this does not mean that knowledge and awareness should not be focused. I think everyone should take the responsibility to spread the word about Bitcoin to his near and dear ones. Also, I don't see that majority of the governments will regulate it anytime soon, it is only our efforts to bring as many people to Bitcoin as possible.
969  Other / Off-topic / Re: P2P E-mail on: July 06, 2023, 01:38:20 PM
P2P E-mail
Peer-to-peer decentralized email system.
I recently read an interesting article on this topic. I would like to discuss more with you shortly regarding the need for decentralization and the next step in Satoshi's legacy.

This service is definitely possible and has the ability to not only limit unauthorized access to your mailbox but also get rid of targeted emails and spam. Greater control of your data and a golden, reliable email that can execute smart contracts.

I will not use the same Nick or account.
Thank you and see you later.

I do not understand the purpose of this post. If you are a developer of any P2P email, then tell us the site and details about the project, or are you saying that you got this idea from the decentralized nature of bitcoin and will be willing to build a decentralized Emailing system ?

Better write more details and share what you are trying to build, so that some of us may give you better ides and the pro and cons of the system which you have build in your mind.
970  Economy / Exchanges / Re: multi account on binance with same ip on: July 06, 2023, 11:55:45 AM
It's a little confusing as per their terms of service

Here it's as though they are not strict on opening multiple accounts but still maintain that each user should have only 1 account.

I believe that this term was written before they introduced mandatory KYC. Now the whole thing with the rules about creating multiple accounts seems pointless because it is only possible to pass KYC once with the same documents.
I assume that everyone is aware of the risk of using fake ID's or documents of another person without their knowledge. I mean the risk of freezing funds until the "original" person confirms access to the account.

This becomes even more dangerous if you have opened one account with your original documents and you open another account wit fake documents using the same IP and device of your original account. Once got caught they may not only block the fake account but also your original account will be at risk.

I am sure if there is brother / sister in the home, he or she may have the same IP but the devices (phone) will not be same. Don't think anyone shares their mobile phones with others in these days.
971  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Faucet Free Bitcoin - For Beginner Experience on: July 05, 2023, 11:53:42 PM
This isn't even viable anymore — you solve so many captchas then after a while, you just have enough for the transaction fee. Even cutting your neighbor's lawn to be able to afford a small amount of BTC is a far more viable option than this one.

There was a time when there were so many bitcoin faucets prior to the 2017 bull market. But once the bitcoin prices begin to increase and people realize that bitcoin is real money, all those faucets dried up and stopped their services. The ones left today give you too much less satoshi that they are not worth to even trying and waste our time.

These days some gambling sites may give you free satoshi through Faucet to try their gambling experience, thats the only positive use left for the faucet in today's era.
972  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I have Traveled on all Thailand and Spending only Crypto! on: July 05, 2023, 06:10:39 PM
Look Man, I read the title of you thread, and I got excited that I might find some good stories of travel and crypto, but here I am, reading only a couple of sentences from you and then just post your link. You disappointed me and probably many other people.
I am actually from neighboring country of Thailand, I visited Thailand once, but don't have any experience related to crypto. I would be very interested to travel to Thailand only using crypto, If you are actually traveling to Thailand share us some actual story, please. Otherwise you are just a liar.

Hey. you need to read the full thread and you'll got the stories from guys who used my services. Thank you!

Why do you want to hijack the OP thread and promote your exchange USDT-THB ? OR maybe you and the OP are the same people and trying to promote the exchange by telling the stories  Grin

Tell me if crypto is legal in Thailand in the first place  Huh If crypto is illegal in Thailand, all these stories stands no where.

Quote
As of 1 April 2022, the Thai government no longer allows cryptocurrencies to be used as payment for goods or services. The regulation doesn't prohibit owning or trading cryptocurrencies, although commercial banks have been cautioned against direct involvement in digital assets.

973  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Buying property with crypto on: July 05, 2023, 07:16:18 AM
To buy real estate for cryptocurrency you need to solve two main problems:
Find a notary and a lawyer who will execute the contract and register this purchase.
You need to pay taxes on cryptocurrency, read the latest tax guides:
https://coinpanda.io/guides/crypto-taxes-france/
https://blockpit.io/en/tax-guides/tax-crypto-guide-france/
Pay your taxes, but don't feel like an idiot afterwards. Some tax rates are inadequate.

The problem to find a notary and a lawyer is not much of a hassle but the problem will be to find a customer who will be willing to accept crypto in order to sell the house. Usually, people will hesitate to receive payments in cryptocurrency as they believe that due to the highly volatile nature of crypto, the price may dump and causes an instant loss.

Secondly, these crypto transactions can only be executed publicly in a country where crypto is legal and the government has no objection to transacting publicly in cryptocurrencies.

As far as the tax is concerned, the parties will have to pay the taxes, either way, whether those choose fiat to execute this deal or use bitcoin/crypto.
974  Other / Meta / Re: Self-moderated topics - nice feature or should it get banned? on: July 05, 2023, 06:48:59 AM
So, what's your opinion? Self-moderation to get banned or to stay?  Smiley
Do you have more points, why self-moderation is a beneficial feature for Bitcointalk?
Looking forward to your replies and your votes.  Smiley

You have already highlighted the benefits of the self-moderated thread in a good precise way however every good thing can be misused and some scammers and spammers use self-moderated threads for this purpose.

1- A Scammer can open up a self mod thread about his service and would be able to delete all the negative feedbacks which people may wrote about his service.

2- A person may be willing to enforce his own point of view in one of his self moderated threads and delete the replies which differ from his opinion and thoughts. This may lead to the one-sided view on any particular instance/topic.

Besides that i don't think there are any more disadvantages to Self Moderation threads.
975  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Script] Run your own exchange! on: July 04, 2023, 08:36:11 PM
Well, it's one thing to buy the script that powers the trading engine, it's another thing to take this product and transform it into a working business.

Running your own exchange is one of the most trickiest businesses out there and it is not everyone's caliber to run an exchange successfully. Yeah, a bit of knowledge and the techy person may be built up the exchange with the help of this script, but the script won't help you bring the customers and reputation with it.

A person who has a lot of money may do better by buying a running exchange rather than building up a new exchange from scratch. The most difficult part is to gain the trust of the depositor in times when people are afraid to keep the money even in the top exchanges.
976  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: LENDERS STAY SAFE on: July 04, 2023, 05:02:02 PM
i also told him  if he could maybe remove the pictures because he does make them public  and face is visible  but he refused to do this  maybe if mods could remove this ?  i don't care my conversation as i am 100 % in the wrong i have no problem in agreeing with that

So why do you now care about this person now whom KYC documents you were using to get the loan?

Also, i think you forgot that you told the OP to use these documents to make the accounts online and you admitted that you used this KYC documents on the site.

You were asking OP to misuse these KYC documents and now all of a sudden you care about the face. Tell me that this is you in the pictue  Huh
977  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: LENDERS STAY SAFE on: July 04, 2023, 03:39:47 PM
well gladiator if we are going to share everything how about i share something to

i received this pm from you Smiley

What is wrong if the OP messaged you for this in response to your post here  needed a person with good merit. In fact, he did the good thing to know what you wanted to offer in private and then share it in public so that other people are saved from your scam.

Secondly, you wanted to get a loan of 500 € against the documents and you already send him a few of those documents for free. Thats the wort of those documents Sad
978  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop panic and remain focus in crypto and BTC trade. on: July 04, 2023, 02:04:33 PM
What are the parameters to indicate someone is in a panic?
There are trading types that buying/selling short time: swing trading, day trading, scalping. Traders don't panic, they are time frame bound regardless of slight price movements. Their focus is for today, not the future, as opposed to investing.

The definition of panic is different for different persons but in a nutshell, panic selling or panic buying means that you buy/sell against your initial plan or without a plan.

Panic is that you are an immature trader or investor, meaning in case of a price dump you sell your coins in a loss that you initially invested for long-term duration. Similarly, if you are a trader, so you did not put a stop loss and then on negative news or price dump, you close your position in a loss.
979  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1xbit exit from the forum, leason for newbies on: July 03, 2023, 05:30:54 PM

1xbit promoters are fine to accept negative feedback for money, I've not heard if the participants are not get paid, so why you can say the 1xbit promoters are victims?
You can check 1xbit official ANN thread to get updates  on what is happening there ,and also check the campaign thread it has been locked without any notice to their vulnerable promoters.

1xbit has not announced officially that they have exited the forum. I am sure that they will come up with another signature campaign with a new clean thread maybe, who knows? Maybe they want to give a break, just thinking that the dust will settle down and they will come again to scam new people and get new gamblers from their signature promotions.

They still paid their participants in their last campaign, and they still have a need for these participants if there are special events like World Cup or seasonal campaigns like holiday seasons they are going to launch signature campaigns so they need these accounts and these accounts have no choice but to apply because no signature campaigns will accept them.

They are scamming their players but they are generous to their promoters because they need these promoters to supply their platform with new people to scam.

These participants must be willing and waiting for the 1xbit to start a new campaign or renew the existing one, so they can again join and earn money from them by promoting the scam.
At least they are out of this forum for the time being and it is a sign of relief for most of us.
980  Other / Meta / Re: Keeping old and new Topics alive on: July 02, 2023, 05:59:08 PM
Bitcointalk has so many Topics that even some newbies don't know about even myself and those topics are very important. I've being wondering why some of these interesting topics are not always active like we forget about them that easy and it makes users who are not aware of it to even open a similar one and before you know it you start seeing links from nowhere that are related.

The thing is why can't we continue to keep those topics alive instead we over look them even when we have something to talk about, we prefer going for new topics.

How can we keep those topics alive instead of dumping them and allowing dust to cloud them?

If you see in some sections like Meta , Beginners & Help, and many others, there are some pinned threads that are important, and they will always be on the top. There may be other threads that are important too but if no one post a reply on them, they will usually go down and with the amount of post and topics we have in bitcointalk, it is difficult to track them.

Keeping the topic bumping won't make it useful as there will be a lot of spamming etc. I guess most topics fulfill the purpose and if any newbie or any member requires the same information, they may open up a new topic and maybe they get updated knowledge on that topic.
