961  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: November 09, 2016, 06:18:29 AM
yeah i spending bitcoin in low amount and some bitcoin i hold for the future and becuase bitcoin will be increase its price too much higher and i will be get a big profit from bitcoin in the future.

There are some cases that I don't want to spend my bitcoins and just to hold it completely. But if there is an emergency I don't have choice but to spend my bitcoins or sell it and convert it with fiat. So, after spending it I am regretting and feeling sorry that I used to sell my bitcoins when seeing the price increasing because I miss the profit.
You don't have to feel sorry, its true that right now is better to buy things with fiat instead of using bitcoin because its reevaluating itself, but by spending your coins you are helping the bitcoin economy.

bitcoin is rarely in use to buy something in each country, only the real money that we can use for now, the possibility of the future can also use bitcoin to buy something we need
Agree that someday bitcoin can we spend even in local stores not only internationally, continuous believing in bitcoin can help to make life of bitcoin to be much stronger and it would be great currency in the future.

If that happens it would be much easier and safer for us to transact using our bitcoins. You no longer need to bring cash to purchase something like in a mall or grocery stores.. I hope it will be available soon also in my country.
962  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: November 09, 2016, 06:13:06 AM
I m not sure about BTC anymore reaching 1k level. Especially since there re so many other alts which might offered something else, something better and more advanced. So I d keep my money on Factom or similar coins.
Much better to collect bitcoin as many as we can and save it in our bitcoin wallet since we do not even know what will happen in the future and that is good to have more bitcoin. And it is good to be positive that bitcoin was gives us wealth in the future.

I'm hoping that this would happen in the future because I'm doing the same thing.. holding more bitcoims in my wallet and hoping that would double its value in the future.
963  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: November 09, 2016, 06:09:31 AM
I never contrasted these two currencies. They're both good. Each on its own way. Each of these currencies has its drawbacks and benefits. Anyone who knows how to use both of them are very good financier

They are certainly both good especially for us who uses bitcoin, because we need to convert bitcoin with USD and that is what the bitcoin is depending its value. And if we will just combine them both they will going to be a very powerful type of currency that has being used worldwide. I hope to see that bitcoin was being used by billions of people living in this world.

Indeed. Both are very valuable and most countries rely on the value of USD and so as bitcoins value.. so if USD will drop it value definitely most all of currencies worldwide will be affected and also the bitcoin value.. bitcoin will be used by more and more people and hopefully most of us will earn more in bitcoin community.
964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Often Do Gamblers Really Win? on: November 08, 2016, 01:33:03 PM
you can't really give any statistics on that because gambling is not limited to only one or two types of games and there is a wide variety of them available that we can only see a very small part of it online with bitcoin gambling sites.

on the other hand, it depends on the game. for example in a dice game gamblers surely have a bigger loss counts than wins because of the house edge. but in other games like sports betting if you know your games you can have a much better statistics hence a much higher win rate percentage.
I agree with you  regarding on  your  statement, theres  no exact statistics  regarding into these  things because  there are  lots  of variety and   types  of gambling   which  we cant really  tally  up  all those   ratio regarding  on  lossers and  winners  but  one  thing  is for sure, there are  lots of  lossers  compare  to winners  and that's the reality  of gambling. Those  who  win are  lucky ones  on that  particular  day.

Indeed mate. It's going to be a useless statistics because gambling is a game of prediction and no matter how lucky you are.. like for dice games, slot machines, etc. are some games that really doesn't need a ratio its still a matter of luck and you will still lose at the end of the day or even in the long run.
965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Pacquiao Vs Vargas on: November 08, 2016, 01:27:01 PM
I love to see pacman vs marquez, I think they are good to see as they really compete with each other. By the way guys if you love to see the fight maybe let us create a new thread so the fans can share their thoughts on the possible fight.

This is a Pacquiao Vs Vargas thread, so this thread should be close already as the fight was done.
manny pacquiao is wasting his boxing career as he is planning to concentrate on his political career rather than boxing ,he teased Mayweather for a rematch but it is highly unlikely Mayweather would be comfortable to face him again as he wants his perfect record unharmed. if you want to start a thread discussing a potential rematch against Mayweather

He's just securing his future once he done in boxing and I think Pacman will still fight Mayweather and it's up to Mayweather if he will accept the rematch.. because he already know what will be the outcome of the fight. Luckily he just slipped away from their last match.
966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: November 08, 2016, 01:22:26 PM
Yes if the country has ban it and still you gambling that is wrong. You got hooked to it and cannot leave it that is wrong.
You are trying to recover the loss amount and further loosing that is wrong. In short it should be once in a few months and with limited amount that will keep things in control
If the country is ban that does not mean that gambling is wrong, people are just weak maybe in the area or the government does not want to take risk for their people to get addicted. Gambling is addictive by nature so it's important that only those responsible enough shall gamble.

regardless if gambling in a country is banned but it's really the person's attitude towards gambling that really matters. If they can't learn to control themselves or being a greedy then that's is wrong. We can't blame other countries who bans gambling because they know the capacity of their people and of course they follow their own religion.
967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: November 08, 2016, 01:18:04 PM
When you winning , you think that you can do it every day , but when you strarting losing  you trying recover you loss  by depositing more , more  and more, then when you will recovered your loss (if it's will happen) , you continue betting till you will not back to step 2...and then again same...circle
and that's the bad practice knowing that the cycle will not favored you is not a good idea but you are correct and its start being so addicted because of the fact that you want to win or you just simply wants to recover your loses.

So true. That's the dilemma of those people whose trying to bounce back for their loses and most of them are not very successful but still trying to gamble and that's the reason why they become so addictive in to gambling and it's really hard for them to quit that simple.
968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The House always wins. on: November 08, 2016, 01:13:17 PM
Crypto betting sites only have low house-edge but what makes the house winning is because of longevity and deeper pocket. That 1% low house edge will matter when you play hundreds or thousand times. Please bear in mind that people should bet for entertainment purposes except when you are a professional poker player, etc.

The good news is that some of these casinos accept investors. Currently I am investing with decent returns while sometimes playing.
You are very right people think they are loosing because of the edge but its actually because of the fact that the bigger fish eats the smaller one. Edge would come into play if we were betting 1000000 bet with minimum base amount because then the wins and looses would matter in the long run.
its really hurting you if we are betting big that's the house advantage but what really hurting us is our lack of control when we start to lose
we keep on trying to bounce back betting much bigger resulting for the house to win.

Of course and this is the reason why most gamblers are not that successful because they always chase their loses and that's why the house will take advantage to these persons who wants to bounce back.. trying to give hopes to win but doing it another way around.
969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you can control your self when playing gambling? on: November 08, 2016, 01:07:06 PM
in fact it is very difficult to control my self while playing gambling but actually i booked so much lost in previous days that now i have committed not to exceed the limit of my gambling.
I think we don't need to control our self to gamble because you can not feel he game and you are preventing your self to lose a lot well better to find other way and if you are thinking that gambling is the best source of profit it is not.. gambling made to make fun and you can feel that fun if you control your self when you playing.. so always think that it  is just for fun..

Controlling yourself is also important in gambling.. you only have two choices, hit the wall or win the game. But if you're not really on to profiting or losing money well don't control yourself just feel the game and have fun.
970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the easiest sport to win bets at? on: November 08, 2016, 01:01:21 PM
There is no definite answer to this. It is just a matter of wagering on the sport you have the most knowledge about. In my case, i love betting on boxing. I find it most easiest to bet on. There are several boxing betting types to choose from but my favorite is boxing knock out bet. This bet only wins if your boxer wins by KO.  Wink

Indeed mate. It depends on the sports that you are really familiar of you cannot just bet on some sports that you don't have enough knowledge otherwise you will lose always. For me, boxing and basketball are the most easiest sports to win for me to bet with.
971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I have a huge gambling problem, any advice on overcoming? on: November 08, 2016, 12:52:28 PM
It will be hard for you to quit gambling with that big loss...Aside from that you are earning bitcoins too, that just makes it tempting to use it in betting...But maybe your friend is right, convert it to fiat immediately after receiving your share...  Smiley
If you can not stop online, gambling means. First stop your Bitcoin activities then only you can able to stop online gambling, Yes if you do not have coins to do gambling means automatically you will stop your play. But if you have coins in your wallet means it is very hard to stop. So try to stay away from Bitcoin first later you will stop gambling.

maybe this advice will help that guy to handle gambling addicting but as long as that guy still have money in his pocket, then i am sure that he still trying to playing gambling and not stopping his addicted.

its really hard to stop playing gambling if that guy don't have another passion to his life and only thinking about gambling in the whole days. i wonder that his family know or not about this, and if his family is a good family, then the other member will help that guy to stop for just playing gambling.

True. It's really hard for a person who's deeply engaged in gambling especially if he loses a lot and hoping to chase all of it when he gamble.. and if that person doesn't have any interests on other activities definitely it would be really hard for him to quit. Any advise from his friends or relatives won't matter it's really just on his own willingness to quit.
972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling vs Betting on: November 08, 2016, 12:44:45 PM
I think betting is gambling, There is no gambling without betting. Gambling without betting is only a game. Gamble is a game while you put a bet for it.
No bet no gamble.

Good insight mate.. yes both gambling and betting are predicting the results on the outcome where both involves money or something of value that will be wager. There are a lot of games to choose from which is available in casinos, sports betting, horse racing, etc.
973  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling and local laws on: November 08, 2016, 12:33:14 PM
In my country there's no such laws which pertains to withdrawing bitcoins and online gambling is allowed as well.. there's a lot of options for us on how to withdraw our btc without any issues well of course some banks or affiliates charge some fees for the process.
974  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: November 08, 2016, 04:54:00 AM
i think bitcoin is much more good than gold because gold is much more stable and bitcoin increasing its price too much faster so buy bitcoin in big amount is very much good and profitable than gold .

Do not forget that buying Bitcoin is actually risky at any given time, so I wouldn't advise to buy big amounts. Personally I think that Bitcoin is a better investment than gold so buying reasonable amounts is a good thing, but one shouldn't ruin the whole thing for them by borrowing money and buying big amounts of BTC awaiting for a big profit in no time. Be careful guys, Bitcoin is a good thing but you should use it responsibly.

It depends on how you are trusting bitcoin and how can you take a risk. I saw some people who are buying bulks of bitcoin even the price is still high just like today but only lower back weeks ago. And it is going to be a great profit if you will take a big risk and when the price increases, you will increase your profit too but chances of falling is also there.

I agree to go with bitcoin than on gold for it's level of price status. Bitcoin's price increases and we make more profit from it progressively if we just take risks in investing. Compared bitcoin, gold's price is else fixed but we can also make profit from it. It's just that, for my own opinion, we can make more and fast profit in bitcoin investment than in gold. Instead I prefer to have gold as an ornament and to be a symbol of wealth.

I agree mate. If you want to have a long term investment you can let sit and wait of your gold and you can also use it in the future if you need money but if you want to have a fast profit then you need to invest in bitcoin which I think is better than gold.
975  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you buy Bitcoins? on: November 08, 2016, 04:49:18 AM
Today I bought a Bitcoin then I am sure that within a few days the price will be higher. A few years later I got a good profit from their purchase.

This is what I am doing too, I buy bitcoins and just hold it for a long time without doing anytime. But if there is a chance that I can see a good alt coin to pump. I will buy that alt coin so that the potential profit will be just added from the alt coin that I will buy. And sometimes I just buy also for buying things online from bitcoin merchants.

just as I sometimes bitcoin I save and buy some alt coin is being dropped and my profit tube back I usually take to urgent purposes only

This is a good strategy mate and it will take a lot of patience sometimes and wait for the right value to go high for your bitcoins to sell it to make a profit from it. I'm also applying the same method and hopefully will get my life better by doing this.
976  Economy / Economics / Re: What if US Dollar Crashes? on: November 08, 2016, 04:44:03 AM
I was thinking about this, what if the US Dollar crashes like speculated by many renowned economists around the world?
What will be it's affects on the beloved currency, BTC?
The collapse of the dollar will be reflected not only in any currency, but also in any country. Speaking seriously, then the dollar at all kept the whole world economy. So I think that the dollar will in any case will not allow to fall and lose its position.

I agree with you mate if dollar will crash then definitely in my opinion we will be all affected because all third party countries are dependent based on the value of dollar. Including my country if dollar value go low then its not good for us.
977  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and paying Tax on: November 08, 2016, 04:34:20 AM
You can hide money using bitcoin or other cryptocurrency but when you buy a house for example, you will have to tell from where this money comes from, so government will tax you, there's no way to run.

Indeed mate. We are tax free here in bitcoin community. But if we're going to convert it into cash and purchase something then it will be taxable. And I'm really not hoping that soon there will be a tax already in bitcoin community.
978  Economy / Economics / Re: possible government regulations? on: November 08, 2016, 03:51:07 AM
THe regulations will go anywhere from confiscation of bank account linked to bitcoin activity to jail time. We will eventually be under heavy attack by governments, they will not let bitcoin develop like its nothing.

It will be a chaos for us if this will happen. Setting boundaries and additional memorandun in bitcoin community will be hard for us to adopt. Freedom in bitcoin will be like hell and I'm really hoping that this will not happen even in the future because there's nothing we could do about it.
979  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: November 08, 2016, 03:44:07 AM
In a situation where you need money, I think you need to use your skills to try to produce something, and thus profit. There are different possibilities, selling goods and services for example, it just depends on the efforts of the individual.

It's a really a tough job though.. there's a lot of competition around us.. putting your skills to produce something requires also your creativity to attract potential clients or customers. Yes it depends on your efforts if you really want to achive your goal you need to be aggressive.
980  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive Income on: November 08, 2016, 03:38:59 AM
i have been trying to make some passive income for myself in the past 2 months and i have been somewhat successful. unlike other comments in this topic i don't consider earnings through jobs and trading as passive income that is why i have made some long term investments in gold and also i invested in real estate which will make me a good profit in the near future because of its location.

Real state have always been a source of a passive income from times, we can see how the prices of places or apartments or houses increase with the time according to their location, which in a result gives us great returns if we are in the business from quite a lot of time.
Good idea but it needs a large money to buy a house and lot and start to rent it to other to make monthly passive income..
It is good to have that business unlike other business if you lose you can not recover it back;.. unlike renting apartment its sure that you will earn a passive income daily.

this is my greatest dream - to have a passive income from real estate. Now I am collecting money to buy real estate. But this is really a very large sum.

I admire and inspired by those people who are able to get some passive income with their own business such as real estate property or rental services. And that is already sufficient to make your life a living. So far, I don't my passive income and I can't say my salary is a passive income because that is different from profit.

Well salary be definition is not passive income because salary is directly related to work. Over time, if you were to save up enough money to invest in an asset that pays you just for holding it, that would be passive income because the income is not tied to performing any work. For example, a rental property or an equity investment that pays dividends.

Indeed mate.. work/job is not considered a passive income because it's not stable and it will be depends on your performance.. because you might not be able to work in a company forever. Owning an apartment or boarding house are some samples of getting a passive income. it do not requires any performance/skills to get your monthly income. You just sit there and wait for your money to come.
