961  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RANSOMWARE impact on: May 27, 2017, 02:37:53 PM
I think the bitcoin will fall because of RANSOMWARE,it is impossible/Difficult to track who did this and in futur Bitcoins will be considered as a motivation mean for such act
The mainstream media has made a bit of Bitcoin's regret in reporting their ransomware attacks and it does not matter - only other crimes people can commit with Bitcoin if they want to.
The attack was in my opinion not the best path to bitcoin.
Well i think it will have an impact on bitcoin in general, and when i say in general i mean what some people think about it. People that know what and how bitcoin work, they will have same thinking because they want to make money on bitcoin. But as i said it will have impact on those people who do not know what bitcoin is or heard about it for the first time.
962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: May 27, 2017, 01:51:09 PM
I used Coinbase before, it did not stop wages at that time but it stopped now, I wanted to go to another wallet, but I could not find a free wallet. This situation does not bother me.
If you doesn't care for the fees too much then it will not bother you but if you are bitcoin saver like you are concerned for all your bitcoins even the small amounts then you will not like the current fees right now because it is too expensive for a fee and compare to the price now, it is a loss for a lot of bitcoin users.
Yes i agree, it is a loss for all bitcoin users, because fee for transfer even a low amount of bitcoin is a bit high, and transfer speed is horrible. I have to wait more than an hour for a payment of something around 6 dollars, and i paid about 1.5 dollar fee. What would happened if i had not payed that big fee, well i do not know, maybe i would need to wait for an day or more...
963  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $0.85 transaction fee is absolutely ridiculous! on: May 27, 2017, 01:39:50 PM
The future tx fee's will be a more ridiculous number. That I can assure ypu  Cheesy
More and more people are adopting bitcoin or starting to learn about bitcoin and that's what's going to make more transactions in the network. If there is a way to make it faster to transact, I think it's time to apply that. It wouldn't be reasonable to transact low amounts now because of the currently recommended fee.
Well that is not right i think, because if you transfer lower amount of bitcoin multiple times, i think either you will pay same final amount, or even a bit more than if you have transfer it once. It would be best if fee was scaled on how much person is transfering. That would keep low transfers fee lower, and everything would go faster i guess.
964  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: May 27, 2017, 01:00:51 PM
I prefer to save bitcoin or use it instead of using usd for now. Well, if using usd, i might just spend it. But, with bitcoin, i might just be thinking of business, so i prefer btc rather than usd.
I do not know where your from mate, but i do not think that bitcoin is that strong and well accepted to be used for day to day things. Bitcoin is good for making money for now as you said, and there we agree on. But bitcoin is not strong and accepted enough to be used more than dollar. Still dollar is more adequate for day to day using, and that is why dollar is better.
965  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Impact of drinking alcohol. on: May 27, 2017, 12:44:13 PM
In my opinion drinking alcohol cause some trouble to us. Some accidents is cause of drinking lot of alcohol. It's better to control it and not to drink to much. I just drink alcohol for some occasion, and family/friends bonding.

Consume at any quantity. But please stay at home after that. Some people think that they can do whatever they want after gulping half a bottle of vodka. 50% of all the traffic accidents are caused by such people.
Yes, i totally agree with you, i do not know why people drive while drunk or even go with their cars to place when they know they will drink alcohol. I do not understand those people. Every time i go out, before i go out i ask my self will i drink alcohol, if i would drink i would go on foot or by taxi. It is not that complicated. From time to time i heard people complain how they ruined their car... while they were drunk... just stupid.

At best they break their car. And at worst, they can kill a person or themselves. I never understood people who care so negligently about their lives and the lives of others around them

I am going to put my house in order because people die.

If a drunk kills someone, hard labor for him until he pays back what he owes to the family of the deceased, and then execution. This would get rid of the drunks one way or another

Cool
That is an interesting idea, and probably better than laws that are actual now i guess. But i think you can agree with me that, there is no price that some person can pay to other family for losing a loved one. That price will always be too high... unless the deceased was a bum which his own family did not like, well than i do not know xD .
966  Economy / Speculation / Re: We're reaching $3,000 soon! on: May 27, 2017, 12:14:49 PM
I believe bitcoin will at least hit 5000 in 2017. If it can move 50% in 1 month like it just did, it has plenty of time to move + 100% within 6 months.

I believe we moved 100% in 1 month. But yeah I am of the belief that $5000 is reachable in 2017, it all depends on what the smart money decides to do going forward. We could just stay around $2000 moving forward until some big news drop or we could go back down to $1000. It sure feels like it's up in the air at the moment.

Right now its on the downwards side on the graph and hitting with a dump. Lowered near to 300$ in just 1-2 hours and lots of people are going crazy about it. I too hope and wish that it will reach 5k$ one day but i dont think it is a possible future in this year.
like my hope price bitcoin will continue ascending, from the side on the chart when it reached $2900 in a few seconds longer may reach $3000, a lot of people go crazy about it because the price of the bitcoin continued soaring bitcoin users being big has its advantages for this. I hope will always ride until next year
Well for now, price of bitcoin is going down, because of so many people are selling their bitcoins. But that is only natural, because price did skyrocket few days before Cheesy . But in time price will settle on some lower, and from there it will again start to ascent, and this time who knows how much it will be, maybe it will go above 3000 dollars this time Cheesy .
967  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: May 26, 2017, 09:52:59 PM
bitcoin is too hard to use for the average person.. i think thats the major stumbling block
This is true, but it seems to me that the main reason is that on a psychological level, people should be able to see and feel what he has. This creates the illusion of security from the fact that he will not lose his money. I am sure that if there were a cash of bitcoin it would spread faster, but so far it does not meet the concept of crypto currencies.
i think in modern areas there  is no such issue that bitcoin is online currency, as in modern areas people are giving preference to online currency, there trend of using currency is now changing. they most use online service for buying and selling and are also using and giving preference to online shopping, i am hopeful that in backward areas very soon bitcoin will become too much popular.
I think we all hope for that to happen, i mean for bitcoin to become even more used all around the world. But i must agree with Seville, he is right when he says that bitcoin is too complicated to be used by average person. There are people who are not used to paying with there pay cards, or buying something online. They would be totally confused about way of using bitcoin XD .
968  Economy / Speculation / Re: We're reaching $3,000 soon! on: May 26, 2017, 09:48:42 PM
At this pace BTC will hit $5,000 until the end of the year! Every BTC holder must know this: you will own a fortune in a few years!

Is $10,000 reachable? I guess it's clear that it is!  (2-3 years)

Is $25,000 reachable? Why not!   (5-10 years)

Is $50,000 reachable? Harder but not impossible!  (>10 years)
Everything that you said sounds so very interesting and i hope it will happen. But we can be blind and believe 100 percent that it will happen. I personally do not think that bitcoin will go up to 5000 dollars till end of this year, maybe next, but not this. And to think about bitcoin in 10 years, is even more impossible. Who knows what will happen with bitcoin in even a 5 year... Cheesy
969  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: May 26, 2017, 04:43:04 PM
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?
So far it was good, i have not lose any money, only have earned. I hope that loop of earning will continue Cheesy . As everyone here i think, i also have dream to make as much money as possible from bitcoin. I have high hopes for bitcoin, and i think it will live long enough. So far i have not earn that much from bitcoin, but every cent is appreciated. Cheesy
970  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: May 26, 2017, 04:03:57 PM
Well i do not know how things work exactly, as far as mining is concerned, but i do not thing that price for fee transfer need to be low if price for bitcoin is going up. What i think is, that if i can transfer my bitcoin fast and without problems i will pay a bit more. So in general i am more interested in efficiency of transfer.
971  Economy / Economics / Re: Where did you first heard about Bitcoins? on: May 26, 2017, 02:18:43 PM
Well like most of people out there, i have heard about bitcoin from a friend. If i remember right it was about two years ago, in some coffee shop. At fight i was not interested because it sounded a bit risky, and i did not want to waste little money that i had back than. But after a year i have decided to join this forum and give it a shot at signature campaign... and here i am till this day Cheesy .
972  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: May 26, 2017, 01:49:45 PM
is bitcoin more popular than US Dollar ?
Bitcoin has been rising for quite some time now, and it has become really popular. It become strong currency, and it has grown much from beginning. But i do not think that it is stronger than dollar. Bitcoin have a long way to go before it can be even compared to Dollar. It would be good that one day bitcoin could be used for day to day needs, but till that day come dollar is better Cheesy .
973  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: May 26, 2017, 01:22:45 PM
Well for now Fiat currency is strongest of all currency out there. It has been used for a long, long time, and it will be used for quite some time in the future. Electronic way of paying is still new in some countries, and its been growing, which is good, i think it is part of progress. But who knows if cash will survive in future, i do not think that it will. Electronic way of paying is the future.
974  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RANSOMWARE impact on: May 25, 2017, 11:21:29 AM
Highly visible shit like this, will be used by governments to regulate and/or outlaw crypto, and stops normal people from touching crypto

THIS IS VERY BAD  Sad

I would not be surprised if the recent -10% move is connected with Wannacry.

Nah. The price was (still is) overbought. It's normal to see the price drop if you take into consideration that people are cashing out, plus the fact that there is a poor level of buy support throughout the entire market at these levels. I personally don't give a single damn about the wave of ransomware infections, and others shouldn't too if they take care of their system security properly.

yea, but this ransomware spread is hitting government PC instance.
sure we, who aware such PC security won't take this issue serious, but imagine of a govn. instance with all public data got this on their server.
Well this is going to impact bitcoin of course, but i do not think that it will impact it too much. Those people who made it simply used the moment of bitcoin worth, and made some money out of it true criminal. But there will always be people who will use criminal act to make some money, and as always people will find a way to fight back so... its nothing to worry about. Bitcoin will survive Cheesy .
975  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why are rich countries rich and poor countries poor? on: May 25, 2017, 11:18:09 AM
Venezuela lived by the sale of oil. Under Hugo Chavez the price of oil was at the maximum. This allowed the country to survive. When oil fell in price to two times the expenditures began to exceed revenues and there was what we see now. I think that this final expects all countries which live only by the sale of oil.

When the oil prices were high, rather than investing a part of the revenues in some rainy day fund, the government chose to splurge them in various social security programs. A lot of the money was lost due to corruption.
The bulk of the countries that produce oil do. In Russia a similar situation. There are no riots just for the reason that the population still have savings which they have managed to accumulate in the mid 90s-2000s. As soon as these savings will end will also be the people's discontent.

Russia do have a rainy day fund, which amounts to close to $400 billion. Almost all of the oil producing nations, such as Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Norway.etc have such funds. On the other hand, Venezuela never bothered to set up such a fund.
I guess there is ups and downs for every country. Even big countries can feel unstable, and that make people who live in it not very happy. But in the end i think that not only that the leaders of one country are responsible for its prosperity, but also the people who lives in it. Because it is up to them, if they are working hard enough and have a good leader which they chose, country will be rich or will become rich.
976  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Negative effects of technology on: May 25, 2017, 11:12:08 AM
For me, Technology is like electricity. If you use it correctly, it is so powerful and will light up your house and makes you productive. But if you grab or install it incorrectly, then your in very big trouble. Technology will be negative if the pattern is wrong, once it's right it will be great.

Good representation, technology is basing on electricity now a days, without electricity you cant run any appliances the needs power to be productive. but there is also technologies that doesnt need to have electrical energy such as simple machines that can help us in our daily lives.

Without modern technology, life can stop for a while, because many people simply will not know what to do in such a situation.
Altogether High technologies can not do any harm, but when you look at the impact of these technologies on our children, sometimes you think about what their future is. I think that some influence of the Internet of computer technology and other things on the child is very bad for psychological and physical development of a person
Well we must agree that without technology our life would be, let say harder. But there is one more thing that we much agree on, there is no way of stopping the progress. Progress is good, and i think that there will always be a bad side in everything. But as we all agree, if technology is used properly, there is nothing bad in it.
977  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $0.85 transaction fee is absolutely ridiculous! on: May 25, 2017, 11:06:37 AM
If this will be the price for any transaction nobody will use it.
The price should be a percentage of the amount of currency being transferred.
I think those people who will do international transactions or any bigger transaction will not leave bitcoin as it is still lower for them and they are happy with that.
By the way your suggestion is also better. If percentage is kept as a fees for transactions then the problem may solved.
Yes i agree, that could solve the problem, and i think it would be only fare solution. Because its not same when you transfer 10 dollars and pay 1 dollar fee, and when you trading bitcoin on big amount, let say 1000+ dollars and pay same fee, its kinda stupid right? But anyhow i hope they will fix wait period for transaction to be accepted.
978  Economy / Economics / Re: Moment for buying or selling? on: May 25, 2017, 11:03:18 AM
Well you certainly should buy some. How much is up to you. What riak do you want to take. Can you afford to hold for awhile if btc gets dumped? Most people accept that risk here.

Always know you may be holding the bags for awhile. Try doing a few hundreds dollars or btc each month if u wanna minimize risk.
That sound fair enough, doing few hundreds dollars a month is more than enough for me now. And to be honest i could not spare more than that even if i want to. At the moment i do not have founds for more than that, but if i succeed to turn around that money, i could make some really nice profit. I will think a bit more about what you said.

Hmm, everything does indeed come from when we want to work hard and don't want to be a slacker. Because a profit can only be obtained when we can properly want to work as desired. Many people are now starting to use the bitcoin it now, because it is already visible that bitcoin profitability above reasonable limits with the company or other investment. But indeed to be able to benefit, we should be able to be patient and keep yourself. If not then it'll be a mess

You must consider all scenarios during an up trend of price. Like in Bitcoin we currently are experiencing the price up trend, if a person buys during this moment he is taking the risk of Bitcoin going down at that price point because we don't know when it will start to fall or what is even its limit. If you are a trade I don't recommend for you to buy up, but if you are an investor that will hold Bitcoin for the long term you can buy when the price starts to become stable.
Yep i agree that it would be to risky to buy bitcoin in this moment, even when price of bitcoin is rising, and rising fast i must add. At the end i did not buy more bitcoin, and i kinda regret, but i have a small saving in bitcoins so its oke. I have hear that there is some big dump coming, so if that happens price will go down and it would be bad to buy it now, even while price is going up...
979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: May 25, 2017, 10:33:16 AM
Clearly if you analyze big and new alts yes they do have the power to battle against bitcoin network, they have the chance to beat up bitcoin if and only if big  investors and some companies will push to go for good and better projects
Yeah I agree, the alts have the power to come over the Bitcoin. I think there is no such difference in the Bitcoin and the alts; the only thing that makes it different is that the bitcoin is the pioneer it came first and the alts have copied it. If the alts facilitate the users better than the Bitcoin they may be more successful.
If the other altcoins have a better features and better plans for usage then it can over come bitcoin because it is not about the price because i believe that it is about the capability of the altcoin and how we can use it as a cryptocurrency. If there will be a cryptocurrency that is better, faster and more stable than bitcoin then it will be a threat for bitcoin for sure.
The price will only increase if investors sees a potential of a certain project, however there are instances that whales manipulate the price of a certain altcoins to take advantage of their short trade, we have to determine that and make sure we were able to do a thorough research on the project we invested.
Maybe you guys are right and there is a chance for altcoin to overthrow bitcoin, but i do not think it will be an easy fight... for altcoin that is. Bitcoin is getting stronger and stronger by the day, price of it has goon up so fast in so short time, and that tells me that there are more and more people that use bitcoin or buy it, which make bitcoin only stronger.
980  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World War 3 on: May 25, 2017, 10:24:41 AM
I think more casualties compared to the last wars would happen here.

No. I think that the opposite is going to happen. Back then in the 1940s, the life expectancy was quite low, and the couples were having 7-8 children each. So even if someone died as a soldier, few people cared. But that is not the situation now.
Yes, but back than people did not have weapon of mass destruction, and other things that people have now. Today one person can destroy whole city with one push of a button, and i am not talking about nuclear bomb, that is even worst. In 1940s fire power was replaced with number of humans, today one squad can do a job that was done by... let say 100 soldiers back in 1940s.
