1201  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Negative effects of technology on: March 30, 2017, 07:52:51 PM
I don't agree with you. If people had more free time that doesn't mean that depression and suicide would "sky rocket" . There are many people who would use that free time for something they consider fun or relaxing. Many people that i know would go exercise more. For some i guess it would be bad, but even they could find something to do useful. Its all up to individual person what they would do.

Ever wonder why life is so unnecessarily complicated? Probably because it wouldn't be fun to live otherwise...
And exercise for what? So basically people would jump from a productive exercise, such as working, to a needless unproductive one? People does need to feel useful, exercise, jogging and all that makes nothing of the such, some may find that fun but not in generality.
At the end, if we manage to have machines for nothing and everything, the weight of uselessness will set in, with a majority just dragging his bones around waiting for time to pass.
Certain number of people would do as you said. But i think that there would be also other part of people who wouldn't do as you say. Yes people need to feel useful and productive, and humans will always find a way to be just that even if most of jobs are done by new technology. Humanity will always find something new to do. As technology evolve, so do humans too.
1202  Other / Off-topic / Re: This scientist re-wires frogs to grow extra limbs. Could it work in humans? on: March 29, 2017, 06:04:26 PM
That would be interesting, but i think it is not possible. Frogs are so different from us humans, and that is where problem lies in. But lets think for a moment that it is possible. It would be interesting thing to have. Im not sure if it would affect regenerative power of healing, or just simple regrowing limbs or parts of human organs. If it would affect regenerative power of healing than people would be almost immortal. Next questions is, how fast could you grow new organ or limb xD . Its interesting topic yes, but impossible for now maybe.
1203  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Please help me understand the no border ideology on: March 29, 2017, 05:57:39 PM
This political ideology is gaining a lot of supporters. I need to understand the advantages and problems that such a world conception carry. I would like to know why some support and what would some gain of it and what would other lose. Thank you in advance, my aim is to have an open minded honnest discussion on the topic.

My current understanding, i hope that you wil be able to enlighten me on other perspectives and facts i don't see.

Positive i guess that the ideal of universal right to establish oneself where ever is interesting. Increase mobility opportunity, job seeking and competition opportunity, a more diverse cultural field and less restrictions.

Negative, i see that most breed like invasive species, slums and unsanitary living conditions expanding, security risks, the loss of cultural homogenity, most third world places got there because of their values what would prevent them to impose those everywhere they get dominance, the overcrowding of civilised places, lack of infrastructure and living spaces, the drop of job wages, the collapse of social and public services, the spread of roamers and bandits tribes.

Your turn...

Btw 5billions people have less average income than mexicans... it's a lot.
I think you are right. There are many good things that people could get by creating world without borders, and maybe that is the future. If people could move freely from one place to another, that could solve a lot of difficulties for some people. But it would also mean that there would be unwanted people in some places, and it would create chaos. Some places would be overpopulated and some would be dead, with no people to live there. I am not sure if it would be good or bad, there would need to be some kind of restriction, but that is not without border than...
1204  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would YOU choose to live forever? on: March 29, 2017, 05:51:11 PM
I must say that it would be really interesting if people could live forever, or not die from ageing. Imagine all that time that could be spent on learning and perfecting some think that you like. To achieve near perfection in something is really impressive. What could we do if we had endless time on our side. We could conquer the universe, and do so many amazing things... if we only have time.
1205  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your view on Alien or Alien life? Does it exists? on: March 29, 2017, 05:42:44 PM
Many of the people in world believe that Alien life exists. There are also many evidences related to alien life, extra terrestrial way, warm hole (from which they can travel through galaxies). What's your view on alien life. Does it even exists? Or it's just a rumor.
Well i can't say for sure, and it is only my opinion, but I think that some kind of alien exist in universe. I mean, so much space and that we are the only living beings out there, come on that is near impossible. There have to be some other kind of life form out there. But the problem is that, that we can't travel around the space and tell for sure that there is or is not life out there. Some day i think we will travel, and i would like to see that day.
1206  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Talking about Atheism... on: March 29, 2017, 05:24:17 PM
There are all kind of fanatics on this world. Some of them are religious and some aren't. But in this cast I think that we can say that Atheistic belief is some kind of religion here. They believe so hard in what they think its right, to that point that its almost like fanatics from other religions. They will do anything to prove you wrong, and that is bad in so many ways. I hope that this "religion" won't last long, because it could destroy us like dark times of inquisition did, if it grows.
1207  Other / Politics & Society / Re: RELIGION AND TRUTH on: March 29, 2017, 05:16:00 PM
With the rising rate of Islamic terrorism around the world especially Europe and Africa. do you think the world can be conquered by this Islamic jihadist
The simple answer is NO. And the answer would be simple too. There are more people that are not jihadist, and that would fight against them if they need to. Even if we imagine that there was a world wide war with jihadist, it would be bloody and tough. Because they can blow them self for the glory of Allah or what ever, which means they are fanatics and not afraid to die, and that can be tough for other side. But that won't happen so...
1208  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Gay Marriage and Adoption on: March 29, 2017, 05:02:42 PM
In many countries of the world homosexuality is still illegal and is sometimes even punished with death. (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/d/d1/World_laws_pertaining_to_homosexual_relationships_and_expression.svg/1035px-World_laws_pertaining_to_homosexual_relationships_and_expression.svg.png)

In most Western countries, same sex marriage is now permitted. Adoption has also been allowed in some countries. There are no studies that show that children grow up badly in homosexual relationships.

Why do you think that so many Western countries have problems with same rights for homosexual ppl?
And what do you think about it personally?
I don't have nothing against homosexual people in general. But i don't support open propaganda that "gay is ok" , because if its ok we would be born with both male and female genitalia. To do what ever they want in there house where no one can see them is ok. I don't want to explain to my children tomorrow "why are those to mans kissing" or something like that. Its not right. And about children adoption, well i know i would not like to grow up with two fathers (its even weird when i think about it) . Children need Mother care as much as father.

I completely agree with you. I don't want any intolerance to be shown against the gay community. But at the same time, the pro-gay propaganda targeting the children need to stop. It is a truth that homosexuality is a deviant behavior. It is not "normal".
Democratic principles do not allow to harass citizens, even if they are gay. This suggests that the democratic system is not perfect. I don't want my children saw on the streets the people promoting alien to any normal person principles.
You are right when you say that democratic system is not perfect, as a matter of facts there is no perfect system, well non that i know of. But problem is that, because homosexual community is smaller, things that are done toward them seams bigger than they really are. Sometime people and media shows problem in light that suits one side or another. Homosexual people want all things but give non. They want some stuffs, and they don't think how will that effect people in future or children. They want to speak, but don't want to listen. I must say that I have meet some gay people, and they were really nice persons. But i don't like when they want world wide spectacle.
1209  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Negative effects of technology on: March 29, 2017, 04:50:28 PM
I think the worst part of technology is our dependency on it and reluctance to work and think for ourselves. Thereby rendering us more lazy and unproductive.
Laziness is the engine of progress. Any technology which makes our lives easier, they do not free man from his duties. They just allow you to increase the number of possibilities of man and give him the opportunity to spend free time on other things. To blame technology is that the person doing nothing is wrong.

If we do nothing but "using free time", existentialism will takeover and depressions and suicides will sky rocket. That's a "beware of what you wish for".
I don't agree with you. If people had more free time that doesn't mean that depression and suicide would "sky rocket" . There are many people who would use that free time for something they consider fun or relaxing. Many people that i know would go exercise more. 1210  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Impact of drinking alcohol. on: March 28, 2017, 07:35:33 PM
Hi guys. Just wanted to know whether drinking is good or bad for our health...first of all i drink every weekend because i feel refreshed after a heavy week of work..  After i drink i take a lot of food and have a nice sleep....I do not have any kind of headache or anything after drinking but will it affect me in the future.... My dad almost drinks everyday right from his childhood may b at the age of 18 but my dad is healthy and strong even after drinking so many years... Thanks to god for that....... Any way,  When it comes to your health, is it better to drink or not to drink?
Well my personal opinion is that alcohol is not bad, in normal amounts. I drink from time to time, and i know its bad for me when i over-drink. Because tomorrow I can't do anything but rest till i get better. Some doctors say that one glass of vine a day, after lunch is good for health. I don't know about that, but i know what feels good when i do it. I like to drink in small amounts, and if person can control them self, I don't see what is wrong in that picture.
1211  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Survey] Is Necrophilia really all that bad ? on: March 28, 2017, 07:30:51 PM
Quote
Necrophilia, also called thanatophilia, is a sexual attraction or sexual act involving corpses.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Necrophilia

So if the corpse has been discarded and the loved ones have no more use for the body then what is the problem ?

Should it be bad putting something thrown away put to use ?

Note: I here by give my permission for you all to use my dead body one day for sexual acts.
I also would prefer you film it and share it on Torrents sites too !
Put some funny hats on me and go to town Wink

Remember it's not illegal prostitution if you film it.

Can you prostitute the dead ? hmmm
When you say it like that it sounds funny, but its wrong on so many levels xD . Not only that it is bad by moral and religious side, it is also bad because there are all kind of diseases that person could get by doing weird stuff with dead people or animals. And i personally don't see anything attractive about dead people. :S But oh well, free will. Do as you like Cheesy .

1213  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is a war against china the only option? on: March 28, 2017, 07:18:29 PM
At every passing day Chineses oligarchs augment their power. The more powerful they get, the more assertive they are in all aspects.

A few examples:

Iran, the next north korea.
Freedom of naviagtions.
Freespeech.
Job stealing in the west by total slavery and with 0 respect for the earth.
Continuous weapon program to reach parity.
The will to regulate and subjugate the market liberty and all aspect of life to the will of the cccp.

I see 0 peaceful initiatives from there. Only gaining time until they reach leathal superiority. If allowed to ger there it will be a war, they will provoke to expand. So or they are stopped now with still western edge and sent back or later in a more symetrical and ugly way.

Advantages: once chinese power is reduced to hashes, it will possible to restore sanity worldwide (iran, nk, authoritarian regimes, attack on freespeech, restore the earth, trade freely and fairly).

Otherwise they will continue to conspire ans weaken by all means the west.

A war with china will be over in a single minute, full quantic: 1billion+ Deaths).

The windows of opportunity is getting smaller everyday...

Please prove me wrong... but you can't, i bet.
In something that you said I agree. But i don't think that its China fault that more and more job are done by the Chinese people. That is because they are the cheapest labor there is at the moment, and that is good for people who are paying. If they can get the job done, than why pay more... If someone doesn't want Chinese people working for them, that is ok with me. Free choice.
1214  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do Atheists hate Religion ? on: March 28, 2017, 07:11:44 PM
Atheist do not hate religion maybe they hate religious institution...because of  dislike religion, but doesn’t hate it. because they're not fair and they don't respect others freedom. The only thing that all atheists have in common is a lack of belief in God.

Well sometimes, if you look at how religions today are bickering with each other fighting over who's belief is right and wrong, atheism makes a lot more sense. If your belief in god makes you want to harm others who have different beliefs than you then atheists probably are right in just choosing not to believe in anything
I think that all people, more or less, like to be correct about things that makes them who they are. So if person believe in God, that belief is part of there personality, so if you say that God does not exist, you also attack there personality and that is bad. Because ego is tricky thing, no one like when there personality is attacked. That is why there are so many conflicts about religion. And you are wrong, to harm other people isn't part of any religion, not any that i know of.
1215  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: March 28, 2017, 07:05:03 PM
I believe there's a decent possibility that Bitcoins will keep on appreciating. Regardless I have most of the Bitcoins I purchased in mid 2012 and I plan to clutch them for some time to perceive what happens. However, anybody pondering contributing ought to comprehend that it's a greatly unsafe recommendation. There's a decent shot you'll lose most or the greater part of your cash. Furthermore, with each Bitcoin offering for $120, there isn't so much potential upside as there was a year prior, when you could eat up a Bitcoin for $5. So it would be ideal if you just contribute cash you can bear to lose.

You do not believe in bitcoin?
But you keep these coins. I do not understand why. After all, you have nothing to lose if you bought them several years ago.
I buy bitcoins at a time when the price is going down, but I still hope that this will increase my money
Well it is only sane to buy when price is low and to wait for price to go up so that you could sell it. And if people don't believe that the price would go up, they would not buy bitcoin. Who sane would buy bitcoin, if they know that price would go down. Than is best way to lose money, and i know no one who like losing it...
1216  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Terror attack in London on: March 28, 2017, 07:01:04 PM
This guy grew up Christian. From over there. Immigration, despite being the cause of all of white society's woes, didn't cause this. He went to Saudi Arabia (big surprise there) and became radicalized, tried to bring it back. Even his family didn't bite.

Had he remained as a Christian, then he would have never committed this terrorist attack. Do you have any doubt? Let's look at different scenarios in which a Christian Brit converts to another religion:

1. Hinduism or Buddhism: The convert is likely to abandon non-vegetarian food, and chant "Ohm" 100 times a day.
2. Judaism: He is likely to eat only kosher food, observe sabbath on Saturday, and get his penis circumcised.
3. Atheism: Nothing much. He may just drink an additional shot of vodka before going to sleep.
4. Shamanism: The convert is likely to get stoned after trying peyote or Ayahuasca.
5. Islam: First he will argue that it is his duty to kill the infidels. The he will learn how to make a truck bomb using ammonia fertilizer. After that... BOOM... BAAM... here comes the fire works.
It is amazing how good picture you have made with just words xD . And I also agree with you, the percent for people to do what you write they would do is more than sufficient. I just didn't know that Shamanism is counted as religion, but oh well there are so many beliefs among the people.  Grin
1217  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Renewable Energy on: March 28, 2017, 06:55:27 PM
Nuclear energy is more clean, but the problems are in the event of an accident. Remember Chernobyl and Fokusimu. On the other hand there is a problem with storage of radioactive waste.

How many people died in Chernobyl and Fukushima? The numbers are only a small fraction of those who die every day from the pollution from coal-fired plants. And now technology has also progressed. The chances of a nuclear accident is near zero.
Yeah, probably. From those fatal cases, there are certain solutions invented now that would definitely increase the safety of nuclear plants, I just hope mother nature wouldn't intervene.
Unfortunately it is impossible to foresee everything. Whatever protection there is always the chance of an accident. That is why I am against nuclear power plants. Companies that sell electricity produced her a lot and sell everything. I am advocating that every home produced a bit of energy for myself, but it is not beneficial to plant owners, and so it is slowly moving to alternative technologies.
I agree with you. Nuclear power is to devastating and accidents happens, even with bellow one percent for accident to happen. And maybe there are not many lives taken when Chernobyl happened, but think of polluted soil that is not usable for so long after. Nuclear energy is to dangerous if you ask me.
1218  Other / Off-topic / Re: Did you ever had a crush on a girl and she rejected you? on: March 28, 2017, 06:49:54 PM
Yes i did had a crush .
I met her on the bus .she was coming towards me and sat beside me,her hair smelt so good .when she sat beside me she put her lipstick on.i kept staring her through the corner of my eyes but she didnt .the beautiful face cut was so amazing .she was having a star wars bag and it was cool and i asked her where she bought it from . Well she and i took off from the same bus stop .i asked her some friendly questions like where she get it , on the other hand i asked 'can we be friends'?
She just showed her hands saying "come on" and she went away .
That must be a pretty gross encounter for that lady.looks like you are hitting on her and she is not interested in you and it will freak a girl out if some stranger asks that much question, just my opinion and i am not sure you can call that a crush. Cheesy If i find a girl attractive i will get her and i found one and now i a married to her.
I think that everyone had a crush in life, more or less. And that is normal, it happens. You just had, lets say "more luck" than him. Everything in life is a choice. You can approach the girl and get rejected, or you can approach and find that she is your soulmate. I don't think that approaching and getting rejected is bad thing. Bad would be if you like something about her and not approach at all.
1219  Other / Off-topic / Re: Learning a new language on: March 27, 2017, 01:48:38 PM

for me best way to learn forign language was google.translate and skype, several years ago i didnot knew any word in english, when i decide to learn it, i just add several people in skype and start chatting with them in english, using google.translate and after several month, i stopped using translate
Yes that is one of best ways to learn some new language. Necessary thing in learning new language is, you need to use it as much as you can, and if you want to perfect it you need to speak it and be around people who speak that language too. If you learn new language and don't use it for sometime you will start to forget. What i mean is, when you start using it again you will have hard time saying some words or finding right words. Practice makes perfect.  Grin

Share with us what's your main reason for buying bitcoins?

I only buy bitcoins when the price for investment of course, and I don't know other reason for buying it exept investment, or maybe for some people who buy bitcoin for black market.

I also buy bitcoins for investment. In my country, it is difficult to use bitcoin for other purposes. I'm just buying coins. When the price is low and sometimes sell, when high. To buy more bitcoins later
Yes that could be one of few reasons why people would but Bitcoin. I think that some people would buy Bitcoin because they think that price of Bitcoin will be so high that they will make a lot of money from it, and partially i think the same. I don't trade with Bitcoin... yet, but every part of bitcoin I earn i leave on the side. I will sell it in future when price is good.
