Every morning when I goto check on my GPUmax miners, on Guiminer, using pheonix. They all say "Connecting..." this has happened 3-4 days in a row.. One card will go out, then another, then eventually another.. they can go for a couple hours or so.. But the problem is they never recover to hashing.. I would love to put all my hashes on your site for a night but, I cant afford to be mining nothing on your site.. Plus my house is cold today because that unit wasnt mining.. wheres my hot chocolate!

@Teflone - how do you get on GPUMax? I've sent my email in a while back and I have never heard back.
I sent my email in, and roughly 2 weeks later I got invited, make sure it didnt get into the spam folder of course Its a neat concept, but in extreme beta, the purchases are all done manually by pirate, so it takes a while, but all this will be sorted out eventually Im still not sure exactly why people purchase the power.. I can see at a point like this on bitminter.. its an interesting gamble on throwing some at it.. but its expensive 1.1 btc for 20,000 shares. but its fun to try it.. So far I've lost far more than I gained fooling with it

This will be the worst luck this pool has ever been, correct ? over 99.4 percent, and surpassed the original 99.4 with a lower diff 6.6 million, we're going on 7 mill.. It has to be any second.. Thinking of buying some more gpumax and throwin it on the fire for shits and giggles..

I'll be human with you, gentlemen:
I was in a euphoria at that moment. Now I am in pain again. Go figure.
I'll have something made by the 11th, I can guarantee that. It will be big in its own special way.
Will you lock that thread too ? There won't even be a thread. You will only have to check my signature on that date. ughhhh... thats a lot of work... You should make a thread..

I rented some GPUmax for bitminter last night.. what a gamble.. What a loss.. PPLNS, so not all is lost yet. Maybe we find 4 blocks in 4 hours now BTW, out of curiosity, how much did you pay per share? Its lost because the shares where submitted more than 10 shifts ago.. Is that not correct to assume they are lost? so to speak ? I purchased them at 55 I also switched my PPS workers on gpumax to 55, and people are paying.. ? so wt hell..

So, there have been scientific experiments that suggest that research participants were successfully able to modify "random" processes. Specifically, participants were able to significantly affect the outcome of a computer coin-flip program beyond what could be expected due to chance alone. So, if a participant wanted more "heads" to appear, more "heads" actually appeared in the outcome, and at a frequency beyond what could be expected due to chance.
Has anybody ever tried this with Bitcoin mining and noticed that they have been solving blocks at a faster-than-expected rate? Preferably, this would apply to people with significantly higher hash rates (> 10 g/hash) over a period of at least 1 year, or maybe 6 months. I doubt many people fall into this category.
Interesting. Link(s)? Do you mean by hopping, or some other method(s)? Honestly, I remember the whole coin-flip research stuff from like 8 years ago when I was in high school science class. Before I upgraded my hardware and was running a single 6970, I had actually placed a piece of tape on my case that said "50 BTC" and "00000000000000000000000000000000000000000" representing a low hash output. I didn't really solo-mine with it though, and I only left it on for about 2 weeks. Didn't solve any blocks with it -- not surprising. But, I'm seriously considering giving this another go with about 1.8 g/hash. I know it sounds a bit ridiculous, but I've been having some very weird coincidences happen to me lately that have been rather hard to ignore, and it's given me some psychological motivation to try this again. nope... bad time to use it, you have used up your karma... fyi

This was a great picture, very to scale, until you ruined it with a person hanging from the bird.. clearly the bird could not support that figure. Shesssh! Well I think the idea is the bird picks it up then tries to fly to the mountain but finds its too heavy so drops it about half way up All hail the avian manipulator!
