981  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Discussion - Being an Active Poster in the Gambling Board on: July 06, 2023, 04:35:15 PM
Our history of posts indicates that many of us are active contributors to the gambling board. We engage in discussions about various aspects of gambling, including sports betting, different casino games, and even stories, whether real or fictional. The topic of gambling addiction has been extensively covered, to the point where one could compile a short book on the subject just from our discussions. We have also shared our opinions and insights on gambling strategies. Considering all of this, I would like to ask:

  • Has being an active participant in the gambling section helped you develop more effective strategies for winning bets?
  • Has it aided you in overcoming gambling addiction (if you were addicted) or developing healthier gambling habits?
  • Have you noticed an overall improvement in your gambling experiences?

Let's delve into this topic because beyond simply increasing post counts, there must be genuine benefits to actively participating in these discussions.

Staying active on gambling board has indeed given me benefits. It has shown me that the lifestyle I have is the best when it comes to gambling.
It has made me help others by giving them insights and opinions on what should be done in a given situation.
Posting in the freebitco.in thread has made me utilize their rewards and active bonuses.
It has been a positive experience overall.
982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: July 06, 2023, 04:26:57 PM
So even though I know nothing is going to happen, I'm just curious to hear what the actual reason was behind all this if that ever happens, I doubt if they will reveal the reason behind this to the public but I'm sure there is something which we can't see and they are doing it only for that.

They won't fight that is for sure! META the Instagram parent company is copying Twitter. They have recently launched a feature know as Threads few hours back and all of this is just a marketing gimmick to promote this new feature. If you want to how it all started then you need to read the OP. It is all written in their as usual everything associated with technology billionaires is either promoting their projects on their platform or manipulating the markets. We did saw how Elon Musk deliberately manipulated Bitcoin price and a meme coin price using Twitter and later bought it when he relaized the power of social media.

Obviously they won't fight because none of them are professional fighters and neither of them have any grudge to beat the other physically.
Although it would have been hilarious if they would have actually fought against each other but this one just looks like an IT war or something.
They might be competing each other in some kind of implementation or may be taking the top on the billionaires list.
983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do 90% of Bettors Lose in Sports Betting in the Long-term? on: July 06, 2023, 04:22:44 PM
I don't think such a long post was required because the whole motive of the post was behind 3 strategies of betting.
Value betting, Arbitrage betting and bonus. It's true that just guessing won't get us decent profits in the long run.
Value betting is the way to go but one should have a deeper understanding of the match/event he is placing the bet on.
Even then I would say there will be bets we lose because we require a combination of luck and skill to win.
984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Virtual bug? on: July 05, 2023, 05:05:40 PM
I work for a casino house a couple of years ago - I could make a serial reference since it's been said in most of my post here.
Alright,?? Cashiers were assigned to manage the activities and book on desired games for all validated customers, but i normally noticed something very displeasing - sometimes, I felt bad for any gambler that lost in that same way and It looked to me like a kinda "money heist" program.
Here is it; A gambler could bet on correct scores - mind you, this all happens only in Virtual games - let's say, 3-0 and, since the games are being displayed on screens for them to confirm Thier winnings, it could even happen that the game stops at the 82nd minute, maybe with a 2-0 score, but once it rules out and updates the scores on the score sheets,.what we all see is 2-5...
Now the question is, how can 5 goals from the away teams be scored in barely a time to blink?? Could that have supposed to mean something different? Maybe a bug? Or is it some sort of misprogramming?

Sandra 🧑‍🦰

If you are talking about something that was done years ago then it would probably become harder to verify what had happened.
On a side not, many casino sites are created just to gain profits from their users. So we never know if it was an actual bug or they had implemented it in that way purposely.
In any condition, the casino site will just say it as a technical glitch and redirect the user to their terms and conditions where it would be written that they are not responsible for such glitches.
985  Economy / Gambling / Re: What other gambling sites offers free bitcoins like freebitco on: July 05, 2023, 04:56:18 PM
I came across an ad on Google concerning a faucet that talks about earning free bitcoin every hour when you click on a free spin wheel, at first I had doubts concerning it but then i was forced to make research about it then I discovered it was legit, I clicked on the link from the ad and registered on freebitco and  I was given 0.0000007 btc when I spinned a wheel, then at the home page of the site they offered me a chance to wager and multiply my reward whereby I  had to gamble  my earnings by predicting against other users on specific games to double my rewards of which I won, what amazes me about this site is the cool referral reward that it offers and was also offered 1 free lottery ticket and 1 reward points for every free btc roll my referrals play, I've had a lovely experience on freebitco so far and I'll love to know if there are other faucets or gambling sites that offers free BTC.

Note: that this post wasn't created with regards to making an income from the above stated faucet, my aim of joining the faucet wasn't to earn a living through btc rewards because I'm fully aware they offer few bits of satoshi's but rather for fun and to while away time during my leisure, so let's be guided.

I think you are new in crypto community. Freebitco.in is a very hold faucet/gambling site. It is one of the best faucet sites out there which has been operating since a very long time.
They are offering various things like reward points, lottery tickets, golden tickets, WoF spins etc...
Holding FUN tokens gives us additional WoF spins which gives us decent rewards.

988  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The exit plan on: July 03, 2023, 03:26:18 PM
As a crypto investor that desire to make huge profit through Cryptocurrency, there is 100% need to know what exit plan is and how to effect it appropriately. I know most of us are not too experience in the Crypto line and it is best to learn from those with this experiencial knowledge.

To all experienced Bitcoin investors, kindly share your experience with us, let's learn and become expose to the reality and strategy before the next bull run. This is another means to help young investors like us.
What are your exit plan and what exit plan have you used that work well for you.

It's good to know that you are concerned about your exit plan because it is one of the biggest mistakes I have done in my crypto journey.
One should definitely have an exit strategy and keep selling to buy back later and increase the portfolio size.
I didn't had an exit plan in my mind and this made me lose 2 big opportunities to make a great profit.
I have seen 2 bull cycles yet I didn't sell anything but this time I do have a plan and will make sure to take profits consistantly.
989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: turn $40,000 into $4,000,000 with me (Record 0-0) | $40,000 on: July 02, 2023, 04:55:52 PM
Awesome challenge! First to reply. I would be keeping an eye on the challenge picks you get to post. This is going to be the very first challenge I'm going to see and track by myself from the beginning and possibly see to the end.  Hopefully, I would play some of the picks you post by myself. Btw, Goodluck with the challenge, I hope you meet the target in the end.

QQ: Why do you stake the entire budget on a single pick as opposed to spreading it to multiple picks?

I am wondering the same. It's not wise to put the entire bankroll on one bet since we know one bet is all it takes to lose it all.
After winning the first 2 bets OP should have played it safe by diversifying the bets.
But it's his call, lets see how it goes now that OP is back to scratch.
990  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: July 02, 2023, 02:28:41 PM
With the main leagues stopped, I stopped making sports bets and I left my money that I earned from the bonus on Duelbits and I will only use it to bet when the Premier League or La Liga or Bundesliga or Ligue1 or portuguese league games, that means I will only do it again sports betting in august, I thought about playing casino games like Sweet Bonanz and Gates of Olympus but then I thought: I'm going to lose and so I gave up, I even made some bets on these bad league games, but I just lost and I don't bet on these games anymore of unknown leagues

fact is that for people who only do sports betting, gambling has a certain time of activity and pause, while for people who only play casino games they play every day throughout the year, so I stay wondering if people who play casino games have some time to stop and then play again or if they stay the whole year playing, because from what I can see games like Gates of Olympus are the type of games that are very difficult for people to stop playing for some time, I myself tested playing in the demo and I liked it a lot but I don't put money in these games because they depend on luck and make the person not stop playing

That is a smart move to have fun gambling while limiting your losses. By betting only on selective games you lose less than those who play daily casino games.
Talking about breaks, I can speak of myself. I do take occasional breaks in between. I usually bet on events as well as play casino games few times.
Although I am not gambling regularly on casino games I still take breaks in between for few months to reduce my gambling tolerance and to keep up with healthy gambling.

For the moment you stop having fun while gambling, you need to stop otherwise it will end up badly. In the beginning, I would keep betting on random soccer matches from small leagues even though the season was over and I had no knowledge about them. My bet size would also go up and up and that's when I decided to call it today and do a hard stop. Nowadays, I still like gambling but only play with very small amounts as it is fun and it is more exciting to watch a sports game when you place a bet on it.

If you read my post carefully I have already mentioned that I do take occasional breaks to maintain a healthy gambling.
As you said, bet size plays a crucial role too. In the beginning I used to play with higher amounts but as I kept losing I realized there's no point.
So I started betting with smaller amounts and that helped me in cutting my losses.
991  Local / India / Re: CBDC/eRuppe wallet is currently being tested! on: July 02, 2023, 02:11:43 PM
Just found a detailed video on Youtube by Labour Law Advisor on eRupee and it has cleared many doubts.
Here's the link everyone should watch How to use e-Rupee | Digital Rupee App Tutorial | CBDC

In the year 2021-2022 the government spent around 5000 crore rupees for printing cash and the year previous to that it spent around 4000 crore rupees just to print more cash.
The eRupee will be a digital currency issued by the RBI. It will be a legal tender backed by RBI. So the cost of printing issuing more money will become zero.

The key takeaways from the video are:

  • It will work on top of a Centralized Private blockchain which will be controlled by RBI.
  • Holders need not have a bank account for holding eRupee.
  • Transactions will remain anonymous for small values but can be traceable for higher values.
  • It will be energy efficient when compared to cash.
  • It will improve cross border transactions.
  • In future, it will become interoperable with UPI and we will be able to scan UPI QR codes to send them eRupee.

Note: Currently, eRupee is only on invite basis but it will soon be rolled out for public use.

Great summarising for the video posted by LLA. I did see the video as it was shared earlier in this thread by pakhitheboss. I still have questions about the Blockchain used by RBI to run the digital rupee. As of now we sometime face issues with UPI as in the transaction getting canceled or getting debited but not reaching the client. I am expecting somewhat like the mentioned situation with this wallet. When it happens RBI might get a backlash. What I assume the government wants is to simply eradicate cash, card, and credit transaction from the system. I do feel they as in the government might succed.

I don't think the issue you mentioned with UPI will happen with eRupee because it is running on a blockchain and the transactions are P2P.
So if the eRupee is debited from your wallet it directly means it is credited to the other wallet.

I believe this is a good move because it will have the capability to solve many issues we currently have with fiat cash.
It will help in counterfeiting notes and will also help the government with anti money laundering.
It will also help in giving out loans, fight corruption and the capabilities are endless.

P.S: I didn't notice @pakhitheboss mentioned the video already else I wouldn't have posted it again.

993  Local / India / Re: How many have Ethereum on their prorfolio? on: July 01, 2023, 07:20:10 AM
I believed the same back when I was a part of the Solana community. I was even holding it when it was around $250 but sadly I kept holding all the way until the end of the crash.
Just when I thought it's not really worth it to invest in a blockchain that restarts frequently I sold it for a loss under $30 and bought more ETH.
I am not sad with my decision and I hope the next bull run gets me great profits from ETH.

Isn't Solana blockchain being used for gaming? This recent development should improve the current price of Solana in the future, you should have kept holding it. They have the NFT marketplace, where trading is far cheaper than the Ethereum marketplace. As you have already sold it, then I am sorry for the loss as $250 is a big amount considering it was the price of 1 SOL.

As if I don't know the capabilities of Solana. I am well aware of the technology as I only invest in something after a thorough research.
I was not willing to sell it but whats the use of a blockchain technology if it cannot be trusted.
I believe we should only invest in coins which we trust in and I lost my trust on Solana and hence I sold it.
I really don't care about the loss now because I believe I will recover it in the bull run.

995  Economy / Gambling / Re: Impossible KYC Requirements - Stake.com - Withholding $6000 USD on: July 01, 2023, 06:36:22 AM
I have pm'd stunna a couple of weeks ago and to be fair, i see he hasnt logged into the board since i pm'd him. Maybe he can help and if he does, I will be equally embarrassed and grateful.

Frat Version :- Stake.com is withholding 6000 USD from me. Hiding behind impossible KYC requirements for internationals.

It's really sad to see famous gambling sites like Stake.com behave like this. It will surely decrease their reputation.
You have gone through a tough time already with Stake and I would never deposit on Stake seeing such things happening on their site.
$6000 is not a small amount to lose. So many KYC norms yet you haven't got any positive response.
To be honest, if this case doesn't conclude in a positive solution then Stake has lost my respect.

However, this is stake.com, a reputable sportsbook. What reputable sportsbooks do is limit the account of someone who they speculate might be a winning professional sportsbettor. I ask again, why would stake.com harm their reputation for only $6000? This is a very small amount for them which they can pay very easily.

Also, @Willowbitcoin also mentioned that he used a VPN when he went overseas in a banned jurisdiction. This might be a something similar to a breach in stake.com's terms and conditions.

Is it mentioned anywhere on their site that using VPN when on travel isn't allowed ?
If no, then OP has the right to claim his funds and withdraw it.
He has already submitted so many proofs which should be more than sufficient.

$6000 might not be a small amount for Stake.com but it sure is a big amount for many.
Besides that, we never know how many people are facing similar issues.
Collecting around $6000 from many such people will surely become a huge amount.
Not everyone would be reporting on this forum about their losses.
996  Local / India / Re: CBDC/eRuppe wallet is currently being tested! on: June 30, 2023, 04:02:23 PM

I don't think most would care in first place, if it's from government it must be safe.

It'll be interesting to see how this is gonna be adopted in India. I'm quite proud of upi system, let's see how this gonna turn out.

As a third-world country, every Indian is proud of the UPI, and why not we have built our own payment system which is far superior to any other payment system used by other Governments worldwide. It would be really interesting to watch whether CBDC can bring that same trust and confidence as UPI has been able to do till now. As for adoption, there is nothing an Indian can do but adopt it, we do not have any other option.

UPI had solved a big problem for us and has helped us with our day to day transactions.
What difference will digital rupee bring to the table will directly tell us if it would make a positive impact in India or not.
If digital rupee doesn't have anything different to offer then I don't think people will be interested in using it.

Personally, I believe there are some positive usecases for digital rupee but I wonder if the government has those plans with it or not.
997  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your rate in betting base on odds alone? on: June 30, 2023, 03:46:01 PM

I'm hoping to make more BTC so the more bets from now on the more chances of winning. I think that's what I'm going to do now before the bull run takes full speed.
Regardless of which game. To me, I bet on Soccer but I seem to have lost every day. How often do you win in Soccer games if you just bet based on odds by picking a team with 1.50 and 1.70?

I don't generally bet based on the odds because whenever I bet I like to make a research of my own.
By doing that, I don't have any regrets later because I don't have anyone else to blame for the loss.
Also, I only place bet on odds more than 1.3x and avoid bets less than that.

Next round will be start 5 hours later.

Somehow, whenever I check this page, the rounds are already completed and I see the schedule for the next round.
Then, when I visit the page the next day, the rounds are completed once again.

However, this time, I have carefully observed the time of the post and it has already been over 5 hours, yet the round has not started yet.
It's time for me to sleep and I am sure that when I return tomorrow, the rounds will be completed once again  Grin

I guess I am unlucky to take part in this game.
999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Crypto coin Do You Gamble with the Most? on: June 30, 2023, 03:09:47 PM
I don't really care much of what coin I gamble with. I use whatever I have in my gambling account to gamble and empty it all.
Most of the times it is BTC and the rest of the times it is USDT, TRX, ETH etc...
TRX is my favorite altcoin to gamble with because of it's low fees and low price.
It's fun to gamble in whole number rather than decimal.
1000  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I got my stubborn neighbour working for a central bank to adopt Bitcoin on: June 30, 2023, 02:32:04 PM
@EarnOnVictor I hope you didn't forget to mention to your neighbor that bitcoin is a volatile asset and it's price might increase/decrease based on the demand and supply.
You wouldn't want him coming to you just in case bitcoin price declines just after he made an investment.
He might already be knowing this though since he is working for the bank.
The story doesn't seem legit to me, because how someone will throw 30K to invest on something in just minutes when they have been stubborn against using it cause they thought it is bad. And since he mentioned the person is working for the central bank which is also banned the usage of cryptocurrencies in any manner in Nigeria so if the person is doing it then he is violating the banks guidelines which may end up getting fired from the job.

How is it violating the bank guidelines ?
What he does with his money is none of the banks business. He can buy anything he wants as long as it is not illegal to do it.
Crypto is not illegal in Nigeria and so that person can buy bitcoin with this income. I am sure many bankers would be holding crypto.
