1  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm wealthy and unsuccessful on: August 30, 2025, 09:09:10 AM
If you have the funds for a car get it. The problem is peoples idea of a car. A car is necessary if can afford it as an adult. It can help you save time getting from one place to another and also make your life easier. What are you making money for if you can’t at least make your stress simple. You don’t need to own a luxury car just one that is neat and comfortable.
If you don’t have the money to get a car or a house, then I understand you, but if you can comfortably get one but see it as a bad move you need to have a rethink.

This is so true; I used our car for our daily travels even though it isn't paid for yet. Also, I have 3 kids; this reason is the most favorable reason for me, as it's convenient for me when travelling, knowing I have a medium-sized family. In the end it's not about others opinion but based on what truly matters. The need and comfort of knowing you still have a debt to be paid.
The OP has his or her own opinion, and so do I and all of you. The important thing is we live a happy life and face struggles and reality head-on.

4  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for a Coder / Web Developer on: August 26, 2025, 02:10:34 PM
Looking for a Coder / Web Developer who can develop websites and good at coding. This is a crypto related project with a very good pay. If you are a good developer please email me Operationforbes@proton.me OR message me here.

This is a crypto related project start up and could potentially land you on the Forbes list.

I am a frontend developer; however, I don't know what you need. You must state it in your post and make clarifications if possible. If this is fishy you won't be able to get your desired team.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin was the currency of a country on: March 09, 2025, 05:07:20 PM
☞If Bitcoin was the currency of a country then what will happen?☜

Cryptocurrency is known as the fastest transaction medium for people around the world. Bitcoin is most commonly known and used token in cryptocurrency. Suppose a country began to use Bitcoin instead of their currency. Then, what will happen?

The price of Bitcoin is unstable. Its price may increase or decrease. If a country accepts Bitcoin as their currency, then there will be an economic revolution in that country.

Bitcoin will be operated without the control of the central bank or government of that country. It is capable of preventing inflation. Because it is not possible to print any additional bitcoin. For this, the people of that country can do their transaction easily, transparently & faster and will have the potential to reduce corruption rates. However, when all transactions are completely dependent on online, it will be mandatory for all of the country to gain skills in this regard.

Finally, if Bitcoin is the currency of a country, it will start a new economic age of that country. This will improve the economy of that country and some damage. So these positive and negative aspects of that country should be noticed equally.

Unless you can do anything about the volatility of Bitcoin it may never be true. This is far from reality, we really need a stable money to trade goods. Just how furious people would be if the use a currency with and unstable market.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: It seems like this year those who don't have cryptocurrency will lose all on: March 08, 2025, 02:03:30 PM

I also heard about those doom guys on youtube saying stock market is going to go zero but why would crypto be any different when it comes to value?

What happens in stock market also happens in crypto market which if they are affected we are all affected.
What advantage does people if they own cryptocurrency?  If they store it on private wallet, they have the advantage.

Unlike stocks market crypto is based on what the people believes, it's holders are what makes it valuable not some sort of centralized government or in case of goods are it's abundancy. You could easily see your advantage if you see the price of bitcoin from 2009 up to this point. Those increase are massive and if you were an early investor I am very sure would be a millionaire right up to this moment.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading we cause you more damage than investing. on: March 08, 2025, 07:44:05 AM
Trading is riskier than investing and new traders are more likely to take risks because they do not have knowledge about the market. Also decisions have to be made quickly which results in a lot of stress there is a possibility of making wrong decisions based on emotions. To achieve success in trading it is necessary to control risk analyze the market and make a plan. Many people who get greedy in trading have suffered big losses it can be said that trading is not always safe and it can sometimes cause more losses than investing if it is not done correctly.

This is why I don't trade, it is more riskier than trading however the riskier it gets the greater the amount of profits it is, that is why people tend to to do. Aside from that they need daily income basis. Unlike investing you just have to hold your coins for a certain time and pull it out when the right time comes. This somehow is a method I use to acquire some profits for months or even years. I have done this many times primarily in BTC and it works for me all the time, either I double the money or gain a decent profits.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are DeFi airdrops still worth the hassle ? on: March 07, 2025, 06:27:55 PM
Back then when airdrop projects were few and legit, i remember participating in a few like Berachain and Movement and the profits made were reasonable but after going through another phase of farming other projects and realized little rewards, i came to a conclusion of trading them after listing using the short strategy or better still participate in exchanges event like PoolX and Launchpool.

Take for instance, my friend farmed this DeFi project, ELIXIR for a year but found out he wasn’t eligible after checking yesterday. He felt disappointed but i told him two options, it’s best to take advantage of the current market condition, trade and short because i’ve realized there’s always a dump after listing even though it might pump back but at least make some profit out of this or better still, use PoolX to his advantage as i’ve always done. But i would like to if anyone was eligible for the airdrop here ?

This happened to many times, and most of the time you should grab the chance while it has value once released in an exchanged. I only have a few projects that gave me reasonable amount. Most of the projects I was into was just a scheme to get ahead of others money. I remember having a 1k USD worth of coins and after a few hours it became to almost nothing in value at all. So again take your part of the pie as soon as you can and leave, find another one, repeat and that's it. Also remember to not look onto the past, because it will hurt your feelings especially for the coins that was actually successful.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Secret of creating money they don't tell you on: March 07, 2025, 05:40:19 PM
Secret they don't tell you
You don't learn in this your banking and economy schools.
But money is created of the collateral of people.
Period, you are the collateral in the financial system yes you been told many things....it don't matter mainstream economic knowledge and financial info can't be real.
In otherwords: they take your signature date of birth and name and they make you as money, everbody is money you are money Im the money.
Each person is worth maximum 100,000$ of curreny, once people been used and maxed out to create money then new people are needed.
You are the money of the country you are registered you are the money they take YOU and turn into money the currencies.

A merely 100K USD? My my is that what you are worth or even lesser? If another man tries to give you (with you having a healthy body) a 100k USD in exchange for your two eyes would you give it? I don't thinks so, your eyes are more than that. How about your heart,? and the list goes on (with every parts of your body), its worth more than what you have said.
10  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Correct way to check balance of old wallet.dat files? on: March 06, 2025, 09:30:50 PM
Hello,

I have a bunch of old wallet.dat files that are very likely empty. I would love to give a final look to make sure I am not missing any money in those wallets.

I don't currently have a fully synced node and I have done the following to check the balance, let me know if this is correct.

I load the wallet.dat file in the Bitcoin Core app (on Mac). The app tells me that it needs to sync the entire blockchain and I say go for it. While the app is syncing the blockchain, I click on the menu Window and select Receiving Addresses.

I then check the balance of all these addresses on Blockchain.com.

Does this give me the full picture of the balance of those wallets?

I am currently remembering on where did I sent mine. There were 0.003 Bitcoins in my different wallets but I don't know how to get them back. Way back 2017 they were nothing but pennies, and now it can give you some buck to survive a month if successfully retrieved.

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AIRDROP discussion on: September 13, 2024, 02:16:10 PM
Hi guys, been off for a while, I rarely visit this page because of the reality of a married man with children. So how is the altcoin section? Is there a new project to hop on? Or any new free coins to take in, anything legal and legit is appreciated.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are people still participating in Bounties here? on: June 23, 2024, 04:59:16 PM
As usual, I think the bounty will be exciting when many quality projects appear, but at this time most of the projects there are really unattractive. And also the change in marketing platforms in the crypto space has also seen a lot of innovation so hunters may be looking at galxe, zealy,...
so sometimes bitcointalk spaces can be difficult to compete with painting. Anyway, I hope that in the near future there will be more cooperation to launch quality programs in this space.

In my opinion it is seasonal, if BTC rises or gains popularity again, in most cases all alts are brought up too, including new projects. Newcomers will try to go invest in new projects and therefore some coins are pump. I remember the time when joining in some bounties and earning 200 bucks just joining airdrop and some petty jobs like sharing the tweets, however it isn't the case for now, as I see only gambling projects are the ones that could give you any decent amounts of money if you try to join in aside from signature campaignes.

15  Economy / Economics / Re: Hunger in a country known for agriculture. on: June 12, 2024, 12:06:23 PM
Nigeria is country that is well known as a typical agricultural nation which was once the mainstay to the country economy and because of the agricultural strength of the country compel them to have their flag as Green White Green which signify agriculture and peace but it baffles me to see the level of hunger going on in Nigeria now to the extend that an average Nigerian cannot boast of feeding himself and family three square meal per day.
What could be the root cause of this hunger in a country that has all it takes including human capitals and natural resources to make a great nation that the whole would will cherish and envy.

One reason is that the rulers are not capable enough to change the situation, He may have the courage but sometimes the resources is lacking (machinery, investors, etc.) or the other way around. If they attract more money in their country the tendency is some corrupt government officials take advantage of it, in terms of projects that are unfinished or sub standard outcomes and others line the projects are a total failure. One factor is the security of the nation, if foreign investors felt like the nation is unsecure for example of insurgencies, then it is most likely that there are no will to put money in them. Now in some cases the climate also adds to that, if Nigeria has water resources then it would be a less burden as farming will be needing most of it.
16  Other / Politics & Society / Re: money buy happines only if you are a female on: June 12, 2024, 11:51:15 AM
I once saw an interview of a Doctor in Medicine that he has everything he needed but still regretted in the end. He is nearing to his 70's now and he talked about not spending more time about his family. He mostly stayed at the hospital taking care of his patients most of the time whilst sacrificing his own time with family. This teaches us that time is a valuable thing, and it cannot be replaced once passed. Now he spends most of his time giving it to his loved ones to cover things up.

Jobs will sometimes make you secured in your financial struggles but do not forget that the family you have is most likely the reason you have to go to work, so spend more time with them, especially your kids.
17  Other / Politics & Society / Re: UN placed Israel in the same list as ISIS, Al-Qaeda and Boko Haram on: June 12, 2024, 11:41:50 AM
So my concern is that after placing Israel as being of same nature like the boko Haram and isis, what next? Would they still allow the anhiliation and killing to continue?
UN is a useless American organization so it won't be able to actually stop the genocide. Even if it goes to the security council, it will be vetoed by US very easily.

Things have been the same with ISIS. It was not stopped because UN placed it in whatever list. It stopped when the Fatwa came in Iraq to rise up and defend against the US backed multi-national terrorists that were advancing and also because Iran and the rest of the "Resistance Front" got involved and beat them back.

Israel as another US-backed multi-national terrorist organization will be dismantled in the same fashion.

Look I still cannot understand why its taking so long to get a ceasfire?
They are trying to keep project Israel alive and secure some sort of future for it. Otherwise the project ended on October 7, 2023 and they are in denial.
Israel has always been their proxy in West Asia and all the terrorist attacks (Beirut explosion, bombs in Iranian infrastructure, assassination of scientists, etc.) have been done by this organization for the West, specifically with the US orders.
If the organization is dismantled, they'll lose that proxy and won't be able to perform said attacks, won't be able to destabilize West Asia the way they could before, ... most importantly a lot of dictatorships could start falling (eg. the Saudi family that is ensuring Petrodollar scam)...

P.S. The thing that I don't understand is why is NATO going down with the ship?
Israel is a sinking ship, there is no way for it to go back to pre-October 7, which means it can no longer be that proxy or the wild dog they had in West Asia. And yet NATO and specifically the US regime is insisting on supporting it and with that they've turned America to a pariah state as well. On top of it they are paying a heavy price on the ground as well.

Speaking of sinking ships and heavy prices, how much longer can they censor their casualties on the ground (eg. the Delta Force unit that got wiped out on day one) and damages/casualties in the sea (USS Laboon, USS Carney, USS Eisenhower, HMS Diamond, Hessen, etc.)?
For example the damage USS Eisenhower sustained last week was the latest but not the first or the last. Who would have thought to attack a USN aircraft carrier before they started supporting Israel? When will that support stop? When US Navy is at the bottom of the sea?
I've been saying this for months that these attacks on US Military are not going to continue taking place using lighter munitions. They'll continue getting more and more serious. That's when you wake up some day and hear something like US Carrier groups are no longer afloat.

It's all about the resources, sacrificing innocent lives for the sake of their own good, human behavior and greed. There are so many factors that UN and it's allies are doing nothing to improve peace agreements between the two factions. It all comes down to money and nothing else, for example oil, and trade passage etc. This has been ongoing not just with the Palestinian people but with different ethnics too.
