61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yield farming or staking? on: April 30, 2022, 08:04:38 PM
What will you choose? Yield farming or staking? If anyone want to share his experience?

Staking is the best for me, I am staking some coins now and they give me good returns. I don't wanna try yield farming as I am able to earn profits from staking at the moment. I don't know how that works for you but if you are planning to get advise base on us making some polls, then you would see so much positivity with staking.
62  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mistake I made till now investing on crypto projects. on: April 30, 2022, 04:28:13 PM
This has some points, most newbies in crypto investments should take information like theses before investing blindly. I have experiences also, and have seen tokens that failed in the long run. I was investing in NFT and p2e projects recently and the thing that made me quit is that the token they are using has less utility on it. They produce drastically and the amount of circulation is so huge that the tokens price has drop, it is just like fiat and it inflates the small community of investors.
63  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is a game you would like to see in an online crypto casino? on: April 30, 2022, 12:38:03 PM
Hey Bitcointalkers,

What games do you like to play (mobile, board games, easy game with friends, etc.) that you would love to see put into an online casino for real betting?

There have been a lot of successful yet simple games in online casinos like Heads or Tails, Over/Under, and more. We are looking to see what games you guys love and wonder if we can turn them into an online betting game!

Two cards which is simple like lucky nine. This is known in our local place, however I don't know where is the origin and if it somehow from foreigners. It is easy to play and simple, the winner should have the highest number from 1-9, so if you've got the 9, you will win the same amount whatever your bet is.
64  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse Racing and Gambling on it should be banned on: April 30, 2022, 04:23:30 AM
I was spending some time with my friends parents and there was not only a huge party but all of them placed p2p bets on the horse racing. They asked me to come over as well, the ending was deeply sad and essential to cover : The horse died after winning of a heart attack.

The horse was presenting signs of heart attack on the camera but no one was actually even giving it a second thought and at the end when it was the last lap, all the horses got whipped excessively hard as well. That gets me to my point "why do you support horse racing?" This is honestly far to cruel to continue.

According the this site: https://www.horsedeathwatch.com/background.php they have seen more than 2000 deaths in around 5500 days. Most of the horses die during the match as well, they also have instances where they are exploited using drugs (doping).

Are you aware that most of the horses go through slaughter as well? Some of them have very bad injuries making them not even the least bit useful for the business therefore they are killed without second thought. I do hope people would get more aware and try and steer away from *horse racing*.

How cruel truly humans are. Not just to animals but humans too, boxing, mma, and other sports that requires two people to hurt each other. They are also betted on and cheer only they are not whipped like the horse. Horse racing is an old game, it is in history books and it won't be easily shut down. Here in our country it is also popular, and same cases happens. You know, it isn't that easy, look at cockfighting, there are people who want to stop it, chickens murder each other every single day and the people don't even care, they are animals too.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I found new POW coin on: April 29, 2022, 09:23:54 PM
Guys is seasonal token a good proof of work to mine? Cyclical trading seem like something new as per what the project is trying to do, have anyone check out this project or already mining it? Numbers of miners are still very small but holders are growing fast.

https://seasonaltokens.org/

It is good, as I see it has only 758 holders, not quite bad but the market Cap is only 900k USD in total. Need more adoption and how would the coin be utilize? Aside from mining there is also a feature call farming, which is similar to staking your coins. Maybe I will try with my idle cards and see how it goes.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How low can BTC go this time around on: April 29, 2022, 03:34:33 PM
worst range is $32k to $34k. I saw the price prediction the team from cointelegraph did, and I thought it made sense. So, for now, that's the worst range.
however, I actually hope that the price won't drop more than $35k for now. however, we must be prepared for the situation. if it reaches that range, maybe the opportunity to buy can be cheaper. however, I hope the price will return to above $42k soon.

Do you know what could be the best reason why it could dropped so bad at that point? I can only expect three, which is the banning of crypto mining again, and the regulations pressed on Bitcoin, and the surfacing of the creator of BTC which he will sell all those coins he have in one massive dump. Do you think similar cases on a small scale would bring so much damage to it's price?

This is misleading, I thought there are some rare items that are for sale or auction in here. How does this connects with the main title? You are promoting a new casino site, you are not getting any players with deceitful tactics, people will be scared to play with this kind of advertisement. Better changed it or try something better.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending in fake ID for KYC on: April 28, 2022, 09:42:17 PM
Sending fake ID for KYC is a very illegal action, one can be reported to the authorities because of this.
If you are a bounty hunter who required to send ID for KYC, better to not submit anything at all and find other campaigns instead using fake ID to submit KYC. Submitting ID for KYC won't ensure that the project will pay us at the end.
Years ago and so far I have not found a bounty of its conditions to submit KYC to claim tokens, but if there is a legit bounty that asks for KYC, I don't see a problem with that since each of us has an ID card, whoever resorts to submitting a fake ID is definitely not honest and has multiple accounts to cheat in the bounty or He has evil desires, so we must provide valid documents to the bounty or the Exchange platform that asks for it without resorting to illegal ways.

I remember one token called Polymath, they have airdropped their coin to limited people and they required them to submit KYC including me. I don't know what they did to my identity but it was legit and I got 200 tokens worth more than 200 dollars when I sold it. I have experienced legit bounties way back and they did not need any KYC to received, but most of those projects failed and I do not know the reasons, one token had reached a total value of 1500 USD and it was the best token I have received just for doing simple task.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New generational scamming system in form of airdrops on: April 28, 2022, 08:03:38 PM
Lately, I have come across fake airdrops which they requires users and participants to perform some task and promote their project and at the end they will pay them with their free token which will be airdrop to their wallet which the price and value of the token most of the time shows on the users wallet.
My question here is how do the airdrop owners use in sending a locked token to users wallet?
How come they list the token on exchange other than Dex like Bitmart, Bitforex etc?
What do the projects owners gain from such airdrops.
Example of such toke s are
1. Terk
2. Metamusk
3. Menerum Bsc
4. MetaUFO
Etc.
And most it this tokens promise participants a certain period of time when the token is going to be unlocked 🔓 but it never happen.

They want attention and once you are interested then you have taken the bait. So neglect it and continue on, this another scamming procedure is just starting and there are maybe other ways too. So if there are new you just have to let the forum folks here know. There are no free money in this moment of time, unlike it was just starting (Crypto Currencies), and it is getting worst so we just have to bare with it and be a keen observer whether the projects we are into are worth to be trusted.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mines of Dalarnia (Metaverse) coin is nasty 75% today . on: April 28, 2022, 02:28:01 PM
One of the top metaverse coin is go nasty 75% today Look on Mines of Mines of Dalarnia.

It was 1 hour ago 30% before 20 min 60% and now 75%

What causes this massive pump?

The kucoin partnership was few days ago.

Tip: Don't fomo in to a coin beause is too high. It maybe go to 160% or go down from here.

As I see it, 800m circulating supply is a good coin and maybe it is one of the reason it is now pumped up. Also most new traded coins goes like that at first, and the mob joins in and after that it falls. Now if that is truly a promising metaverse project, it would somehow remain like that for how many years or the price would even go higher than 5 dollars. Play2earn games are a good catch but the problem is on the long run, if it has no coin utilization like what others, then it would fall drastically.
71  Economy / Economics / Re: One nation one currency... on: April 28, 2022, 01:22:41 PM
Of course the state must be able to control the state finance system so that the state only allows 1 currency, even in my country there is a prohibition on using foreign currencies for transactions, if transactions use foreign currencies, it is certain that many problems can occur and economic control can only be done if Seeing the performance of Legal Currency.

Well I don't recall such prohibition in our place, especially where the foreigner goes or spend their time like resorts and other sorts of places. I remember one time on a known beach resort they accept dollars for payment of their services, so it just depends on the country and their rules. I think there are advantages too, because the people who received foreign currencies exchange it to people who are paying taxes so the government could get profits from it, or maybe not.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Solo mining in bear market on: April 28, 2022, 04:11:28 AM
The difficulty will never drop to the point where it’s very profitable to mine despite the lower price. It never happened in any of the bear markets for Bitcoin, Litecoin or Ethereum. It will be lower than today but not that low.

The only good thing about solo mining is that you save on 1% fees and for privacy reasons. However you need enough hashrate to do so, a few GPUs is crazy to Solo mine. The variance will get you.

This is true, I have tried it once on aeternity lately because I can get a block in 3 days, but bruh, I better go to a pool which I would be getting rewards daily. I don't feel like solo mining unless I have some giga hashrates on the run. I just tried it because of some news about a solo miner bagging millions of dollars, and it took my attention so tried and it I got out quickly.
73  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Klay Thompson @51 for NBA Finals MVP. on: April 28, 2022, 03:32:34 AM
Thus far, I believe that Klay Thompson is the most consistent on the big 3 of the Warriors. The defense was obviously focused on Curry and that will make Thompson open because he is always the first option if Curry would passed, as a result, he will generate more points easily.

So I see the odds, and it's 51, IMO, that's very tempting.

The question is, is it worth taking it?

I would put 20 dollars or in, just to be sure, the odds are great and the ball is round, anything could happen in the court. You have a good reason to bet on Thompson, I think it is a good offer. However my option is Curry, even though he will be heavily guarded, he can manage it somehow.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of coin or token will be chosen and survive? on: April 27, 2022, 11:30:47 PM

I think cryptocurrencies are not able to defeat fiat currencies without changing nations culture and ethics! what do you think?

It doesn't have to change the ethics and culture, knowledge and education. The people of a country needs to know. You don't have to remove from them the things they are already doing. Insert in them the ideas without damaging the culture, they lived for how many centuries following what their forefathers did, so it won't be advisable to revolutionize that in a single decade.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Dogecoin become the new BTC? on: April 27, 2022, 08:36:20 PM
Is it possible that dogecoin can beat BTC after Elon musk takes over Twitter? Imagine if Dogecoin is well accepted throughout the world then BTC wouldn't this makes Dogecoin the new coin? This might sound too crazy to dream about but that Elon musk guy can make anything possible.

It's not possible, the chances are 1.1 percent out of 100. Seriously, a meme coin will overcome Bitcoin, the father of coins? Just thinking about it - my brains can't even imagined how could it be done. Don't just believe in everything Elon Musk says.
76  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: WARRIORS VS NUGGETS GAME 5 on: April 27, 2022, 12:44:20 PM
I'm thinking of betting on the home team as I believe (not 100% -convince me...) they will finish the series and will win by double-digit.
Curry, Poole, and Thompson, if they would score at least 20 points each, I think the series is over, but of course, I have a little worry, what if they will not cover the spread?

What's the right call here, should I go with the spread or will just pass this game?

I would be betting on Warriors till the end, win or lose, I love the team and I know they could do this. They've won the first and second game with distant point leads. 20 points for Curry is easy and, I am confident with them. I hope I can bag on tomorrow's bet, it is exciting however good luck to all us guys.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Graphics cards are flooding the market on: April 26, 2022, 10:00:42 PM
It's Over

Graphic card stores are now panicking because many GPUs are flooding the market and they feel at loss because no one is buying them and the old GPUs they have in stores can't be sold at high price like before, I pity them though since they bought them out the country and can't sell, no one is willing to buy right now in my country, it is what it is.

Good Thing I never added new cards that are sold by higher than MSRP, it was the best decision I have made so far in terms of mining eth. Both my cards a few years back at low price and after 6 month it went to an overpriced which I had to stop buying. That is why recently I have posted on FB that my old cards is for sale and no one was interested, maybe they are waiting for this moment. I visit stores 3 time a months to check the price and wanna grab that 3090 if it will flood the market.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using Crypto profits on: April 26, 2022, 09:10:41 PM
Guys, how do you use your crypto profits? Well I started investing in crypto last year but still to earn that much profits. How about you all?

If you can survive without using the profits of your investments in crypto, like if you have another stable job that feeds you and your family, then you should reinvest the profits you make. That way you can lessen the years of waiting for your retirement and have some fun at a young age. I know this sounds crazy but I wanna do that, and not to wait for 50's or 60's to enjoy the life but without so much energy to use anymore. So better use those brilliant minds of yours if you are somehow having profits at the moment. Because buying what you want now is not any much better than doing what you need to do and that is making more money, so look for alternatives or reinvest in the coin you like, this is just an opinion though, so do not take it serious.
79  Economy / Economics / Re: "I'm afraid that I don't hear a thing" ...Do you guys see any biz op ? on: April 26, 2022, 07:44:13 PM
I researched almost all sectors that you can do biz with small capital ...on any of them i try biz plan they fail...

Crypto is down ... very few are spending ...from my point of view
Exim is dead
Fast food / restaurants  are  dead
Tourism is dead
Agro biz you need big capital + fertilizers prices are up
Construction ...no one is buying / construction materials prices are up
Cars related biz dying ...fuel prices going up ...here in Romania it's almost 2 euros 1 liter of diesel / gasoline
Anything production related is dead do to energy high prices
Malls / Supermarkets still surviving and speculating ...but they will be dead to as people can not afford to buy at crazy prices they have now
Web Design / Graphic Design / Programming / Marketing / Crypto dev is dead ...very few are buying and want small projects
Transport is a nightmare this days

It's like people are not investing in anything this days and they just buy basic stuff / raw materials ... and waiting for war ...

It's madness not even in 2008 was like this ...madness ...pure madness

I guess the people are preparing for a time when raw materials aren't available anymore. They are keeping their money to buy more stock able foods. I am feeling it too, that we should be ready for the worst to come, world war is so close. Either way the problem won't be solve if you stay still and won't let your money grow, if you don't have a stable job right now then it isn't your choice to be stopping whether those options you mentioned above is almost dead already. Not moving is worst than that, and I guess your beloved money will be gone even you don't move right now so better come up with a plan and choose the best option.
80  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Shakur Stevenson vs Oscar Valdez Title Unification Fight (April 30) on: April 26, 2022, 03:31:17 PM

As I said, number won't lie. Valdez have more IQ in the ring as he do have more experience than Shakur who's just starting to build his own career.

This may be true but, how many champions have lost their belts because of relying of them being an experienced fighter? A hard hit on a chin can knock him out, so it is still early to tell whether the odds of Shakur's winning is zero. Let's wait and see for ourselves if Shakur really has the chances of winning which is I am rooting for.
