341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bull is back? on: January 25, 2022, 12:41:18 PM
I think it will go down deeper, it ain't stopping just yet. That is just an opinion and no need to be serious about it. I think another country will be posting new regulations on crypto on or somewhat ban it like what Russia did recent days, like old times, it is a domino effect and the whales are linking these happenings and we have been played pretty well. I don't know but it's what I feel and neither the market comes up again or it crashes it's to up us anyways if we panic sell or we hold like what real man does.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Price of Eth crashing while network difficulty near all time high on: January 22, 2022, 09:55:34 AM
Strange enough although the price of Ethereum crashed really big being now near 2400 USD from like 3300 just a few days ago which in theory should put some miners on a sad mode and especially those with really high electricity cost like in Germany where prices of energy are really high should at least in theory shut down their miners by being not profitable. This would bring the network difficulty down, yet the network difficulty is near the all time high being near 13 P for Ethereum, specifically at 12.75 P right now.Why so?Do miners believe that the price will recover and go even bigger than the previous all time high that no one is quitting yet although the price crash?Usually with other price crashes the network difficulty was down big time.

It is bad news for me, I am solely relying my house and lot mortgage on my rig. Even though I have access to free electricity still this would hurt me. It is time for me I guess to double up my time and work harder this coming days to cover it up. For all those small time miners out there just get a hold of yourself and have faith that it will be back on track, 4k USD eth price was the time I made a lot and we should hope it would rise up again or even higher. Do not lose hope guys and just hold, cover up your electricity bills if you could. God Bless us, and hold your horses for more incoming dips.
343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Environmental Impact Of Bitcoin Donations on: January 21, 2022, 05:29:35 PM
Example of an advantage is that the Donator of Bitcoin is anonymous and therefor secured. He/she could be a target of kidnapping knowing he has Bitcoins worth of Millions. Tax is a necessarily collected, but somehow in some part of world where corruption is rampant, the tax is just a way to get your money and put it on their own pockets, corrupt officials are to be expected. Some I am thankful and felt remorse that the world isn't half bad as we think as their are kind hearted people who are willing to help others, We can say that this guys don't go after for fame, they do it secretly, a genuine act like this should be followed by others especially those people who are on top of the list for world Richest people.
344  Economy / Economics / Re: Doctors fear health care collapse amid omicron surge on: January 21, 2022, 02:52:58 PM
In my country, people are scared of the new strain, and instead of not spreading panic, they are instead escalating the situation. Having survived the early strains of COVID-19, everyone runs at the slightest sign of a cold to medical institutions, thereby creating a burden on doctors. But not everyone comes there with Covid, but because of the large accumulation, they also acquire this virus for themselves.
I do not see any problem with this virus, since there are many ways to treat it today. In addition to the fact that vaccines have been invented, so if people themselves are more consistent in their decisions, I think there should not be any collapse.

As it has been known now to the public, omicron seemed to have less dangerous as compared to older variants but said to be more contagious. By now, I believe that healthcare industry can better manage this situation as compared to when we were just starting the covid virus pandemic. If the symptoms are mild and not threatening, most of them are just advised to stay at home. And also, when it comes to the development of vaccine, I think, scientists will not be having difficulty of targeting this omicron variant in their developments. They already developed the covid vaccine and they will know how to adjust with this new variant or other emerging variants.

Despite the sacrifices of those scientist who were researching for vaccines, the discipline in our country is getting worst. Covid cases surges more that we imagine just because the hard headed people violates the protocols of our local authorities. They party whenever they want and go mingling, socializing and now it the active cases are somewhat unexplainable.
345  Economy / Economics / Re: The Russian economy is on the verge of collapse. What to expect? on: January 21, 2022, 12:35:28 PM
Good thing it is not just the Russians that are using crypto currencies, I think it would just be short term effect in the market even they totally banned all crypto related transactions and Business. Large scale War on the hand is hardly to be expected, as the these top 3 Powerful countries (China, USA, Russia) would be waiting on who will fight among themselves, while the other is waiting to fight the wounded. They would not go expending much, unless there is a greater cause like oil popping up were it could power the Nation for centuries.
I feel bad for the people of Russia who are making money out of crypto, especially this time were this Pandemic hits World with long term effects negative in our economy.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is an Altseason possible and which altcoins can surprise us on: January 21, 2022, 02:59:58 AM
It is possible in anytime it might happen, but I am seeing a downtrend on most crypto projects. I am interested somehow on NFT arts, they are on hype now, more and more artist are popping up showing their works and thinking something unique to promote their arts. I just recently saw an artist that offers  her paintings to convert to NFT and burn the original ones, magnificent isn't it? More and more ideas are coming through altcoins and I am font of seeing them, positively. I have seen investors made money out of NFT so maybe it is worth a try.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin Mining: you WON’T pay for that card (with assumptions) on: January 20, 2022, 06:49:33 PM
I was planning to buy more new cards for mining but then when I see some reports like this it destroys the will and now planning to sell my active cards. The good thing is I already got the ROI, bought my cards last year January and the price of cards of those days were fine not like today. Also I already made profits about 1000 dollars, so it should be fair to sell my cards half the price. The only thing that keeps me from mining today is I get almost free electricity, I would like some second opinion if I should continue mining or sell my rigs before it is too late? I know the difficulty in mining is getting worst but at the moment I am still okay and earning for about 200 or more dollars a month.
348  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to find a promising projects? on: January 20, 2022, 05:14:56 PM
hello everyone
my question is how to find a promising project? how to check the project is scam or real? if u have experience  can u share this experience in here
thanks

The promising ones are those projects who has strong foundation, crowdfund are a success, with development teams who have the will and passion. They will answer you transparently. Another is if they have already made an Alpha of the product, and gives you constant updates about what they are doing at the moment, not leaving investors hanging in the air and waiting for unanswered questions. There are lots of factors and if you have doubts about the project, follow your intuitions.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the highest gas fee you have ever paid? on: January 20, 2022, 02:21:14 PM
We all know how most of us are sick and tired of Ethereum’s exorbitant and uncontrollable gas fees these days? But I wanna hear some experience from you guys. Whenever you trade, transfer an ERC20 token, swapping it on Uniswap or minting and buying an NFT on the OpenSea, etc., can you remember what is the highest gas fee you’ve ever paid?

Let’s begin with me. Mine was like almost $100 in ETH for just claiming my tokens from the bounty that took me a year of waiting. Would love for you to share your experiences as well! Thanks!

As for me I have paid more than 50 dollars worth of eth. It was the time I got my first payment in Axie and at that time, binance does not accept direct from ronin. I have to withdraw it to ethereum network and send it to binance, and lastly withdraw it from binance direct my account locally. It was one hell of a transaction, and worst is that I have failed the first attempt costing me another 25 dollars because it did get through using metamask, maybe that time also the ethereum network was congested and the gas fees are high.
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: eTH gas trouble on: January 20, 2022, 11:17:23 AM
We can't really sure if it is good unless we experienced it. I don't really much use ethereum network, I use it just to transfer my mined eth to my wallet locally and convert it our currency. The thing is it cost me 30 dollars just to transfer my 180 usd eth monthly income, in my country it is a good sum of money. If this somehow come into use and will reduce the fees, it would be a great help for me and the small time miners in world who depends on their monthly revenue.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Metaverse a bubble? on: January 19, 2022, 11:06:52 PM
When basic technologies such as AR and VR are not yet mature, are all the metaverse projects in the market a bubble?

Can $SAND $MANA still be invested?

If this Metaverse gets completed it will already be too late for you to make more profits. I bet now is the right moment for you to put your money on it. Strike the iron while it is hot, Meta is a new beginning and the news is all over the world unlike SAND and MANA, which have been given spotlight months ago, it is hardly to predict and earn from them you will be having hard time making profits.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I Don't Use Brave Browser on: January 19, 2022, 11:15:33 AM
It's also effective to have no ads while watching some YT vids.  Cool
Then you're thinking about your own. I know some people from my country who start recently blogging and making Youtube videos related to the crypto industry. If I used Brave their earning will be reduced. I think it's my duty if I gather some knowledge or information from them, I should think about their side also.

Definitely right, Some of them depends on their Channel for a living, especially at this moment of time where we need each others humane characteristics to help others, spare them a little bit of your time and not skipping ads.

I feel like I wanna explore and use Brave browser too, I am fond of watching videos and also read stuffs online. I think I will try it and see for myself if it is worth to use.
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think that 2022 will look like? on: January 18, 2022, 05:09:15 PM
I also feel that there could be more selling than buying in this year. I am disappointed but I can't do much as I am only a small time investor. Maybe I will wait a little longer before buying. Selling some of my coins are done already and I am planning to sell more. Times like this is giving me fear, and that is what makes some of us stagnant and never goes to higher risk giving them their all. This good be bloody and I think I we could see more projects going down and some would not recover. Axie is one, and I am recently connected but now it's getting worst so I have stopped and looking for an alternative.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It won't hurt on: January 18, 2022, 02:41:08 PM
I guess you have past experience and now waiting for shiba take the path of doge coin, to cover up your frustration over the early selling of your doge? It hurts right? I too experienced the same and I have taken to consideration of buying shiba because it won't really hurt buying a million. What makes you stop from staking your coins? It is a good move while waiting for the pump you know.
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: For those who have free electricity on: January 16, 2022, 11:13:13 AM
Check out TON coin i kinda have more confidence on this project than ravencoin, also Ergo is a better one too it all depends on the project use cases but Ethereum classic isn't on my watchlist
https://ton.org/mining

When the balance on the wallets runs out, mining will stop. 194-216 days left

What does this mean? I am interested as mining Ethereum with graphics cards now isn't giving me enough anymore. I have 3 rx5600xt, does ton available to be mined with this? Got to check it out.
356  Economy / Economics / Re: 12% of First-Time Homebuyers Say Selling Crypto Helped Save for Down Payment on: January 14, 2022, 03:13:50 AM
I can tell from personal experience that 5 of the people I introduced to Bitcoin and Alt coins, have used their profits to pay for cars and also for a down payment on the deposit for a new house.  Wink  Two of these people have never owned a property before and the home loan does not cover the full cost of the property.

They told me that if it was not for the profits that they received from those Crypto currency trades, they probably would have never had accumulated enough money for those deposits. I am just glad that my advice and guidance made a difference in their lives and that it helped to put a roof over their heads.  Wink

It really help a lot in my case, got my first car, got also my first home, even though I am paying mortgage I am still thankful. Crypto investments helped me a lot. It is better than nothing, better than being broke and homeless, just how many people are wishing to be on my spot. All I have to do is steadily pay off my debts and live an easy life, in touch with crypto and maybe next project is buy a small farm to grow my own foods.
357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pakistani Central banks wants to ban crypto on: January 13, 2022, 05:41:10 PM
It is just a short time negative effect, and a positive long term on the other hand. Remember the day when China imposed on banning Bitcoin? It gave a spark, a momentum hitting new ATH, it gains more popularity. It gains more audience as they are putting it on mainstream Media. The people who doesn't know about crypto accidentally brought to the system and therefore gets curious what it is, leaving them to try it and then gets mixed with the pump and therefore boom, it goes viral again and the price surges more.
358  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Investors Try to Turn Private Islands Into Blockchain Utopias on: January 12, 2022, 02:35:13 PM
Maybe it is good for the countries who sell it, generate incomes and jobs for the locals. No government would sell an Island if there were some good stuffs there for sure so they were just selling maybe Islands that good for vacation points only and privacy purposes.
Only the problem is security, if the thugs knew you were some kind of millionaire then you must be prepared and hire bunch of trusted guys to protect you.

359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Always do Some Research Before You Start Staking on: January 12, 2022, 02:02:52 PM
A lot of people don’t tend to stake their tokens, but you should keep in mind that staking is a great way to help out your community. Staking tokens on proof of stake networks makes you a delegator, and as a delegator you can directly help make your network safer.

There are a lot of staking platforms and validators out there, and as a delegator your stake helps decide which validators are validating the blocks on your network. Before you start staking though, make sure you get information on which staking platforms are available for your network. Once you have all the information on the staking platforms participating on your network make sure to pick the best ones, for example: I found Cosmostation and pStake are probably the best staking platforms for Cosmos.

There are a lot of great staking platforms out there, but there are also many shady ones as well. Really, just like with anything else in this space make sure to do your research before you start staking.

Good for the stakers, but I am not fond of staking. Aside from personal issues I really have no intention of staking whatsoever tokens that I have. I'd better hold the coins in my wallet and just increase them whenever I had the means. You know when times you really the coin, it somewhat unavailable and locked, also some staking wallets are shady, whenever there are pumps going on, maintenance comes and you can't even touch or trade the coin.
360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A solo Bitcoin miner just won block 718214 reward worth 6.25 $BTC on: January 12, 2022, 01:35:10 PM
Oh my, what a lucky hit. His faith in that is incomparable. I thought solo mining isn't possible anymore as gigantic mining facilities are increasing. I have been relieved of stress, planning to sell my rigs but this came to me and decided to continue.
