1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC to airdrops is it good? on: September 28, 2018, 10:04:55 AM
I don't think KYC for airdrops offered is fair for those who joined. Some ICO with airdropping is not also fine to get KYC for tokens worth almost nothing or a burger meal is not really fine. I observed it in some ICOs with airdrops that even with giveaways like that so small needs KYC? Don't fall for it guys, not worth it.

i agree with you but for me personaly i noticed that generally the projects that ask for kyc for airdrops or bounties tend to be of high quality and sometimes hyped up and highly focused on regulation and being lawful in their specific jurisdiction basically covering their behinds. Grin So yeah if the project is good enough i'll do the kyc Wink
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am most worried now on: September 27, 2018, 09:22:50 AM
That was the collapse of ETH, because most of the airdrop and bounty programs were through the ERC-20 platform. Do you think the same thing happened?

yes i think something similar happened not just the airdrops or bounty programs i think alot of projects collected their funds with ETH and they have to finance the operating of the projects and as time went by in this bear market projects saw the funds they collected drop in value as time went on so they had to dump to secure the fund for operating costs and for future expenses. don't quote me on this but a projects that collected $10MM worth of ETH in january or february 2018 in now worth something like $2MM + the constant talk about scalablity for eth, i think it's some challenging times indeed.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What keeps you motivated to Hodl? on: September 27, 2018, 07:51:10 AM
We all know about the volatility of the crypto market, but somehow we still preach about the Hodl doctrine. What keeps you motivated to do so? and what sort of trust do you have in cryptocurrencies?

Investors like us are into predictions and discussions, but are we close to accuracy?

Discuss Smiley

i just do my research fully (product,team,supply,roadmap,whitepaper...) and for me i only look at projects where i am going to invest in long term so the idea has to be sustainable and realisable. and if everything checks i just store my coins and be patient because i'm all about long term gains Grin Cheesy
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bulls will run Q4 2018. Thoughts? on: September 26, 2018, 02:47:18 PM
Looking at the charts it still seems likely BTC will still fall well below 6000. Are you optimistics for a turn around in perhaps October or November?

i agree with that i think we still have a few weeks of red ahead of us but the bull run could be in Q1 2019 i am totally positive on the potential of crypto, but i fell that so many people are getting frustrated by this bear market so i think that patience will be key in determining if you will be here when a bull run starts or you'll be long gone.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many think crypto is dead. It is not. on: September 26, 2018, 09:34:49 AM
I keep reading some really desperate people on a forum (other than this one) and they seem sure that crypto is dead, because it is scam etc.

Crpyto is not dead. Don't be stupid. HODL.

crypto is far from being dead but i'm encouraged by such comments, when people say that crypto is dead i just now that a bull market is close and i hope that this bear market are getting rid of all those pessimists that put money they couldn't afford to lose only to get rekt. crypto is the future people who think this is the end don't realise that it's only beginning Grin Grin
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Think ICO investors are Decreasing? on: September 25, 2018, 02:04:43 PM
I think ICO investors are decreasing day by day. Many well rated ICO projects can't make even the soft cap! I think this fall of ICO is happening because of the lack of investors! And many Investors stopped investing because of the bear market. What do you think about this?

i think that market conditions are discouraging people from investing in ico, and i think that more and more people are becoming cautious where they spend their money as scammy projects take them for nothing anyway now is the time to invest intelligently, do your research and expand your knowledge about technology and trading or else you're destined to get rekt.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you selective when you participating in ICOs? on: September 21, 2018, 02:53:18 PM
There are many popular sites are available like Bountyhive,Bountylord that gives the ICOs announcement their duration time etc.
I want to know that how you select an ICOs to either participate in it as invester or a bounty campaigner.

i've got into a point where i'm extremely selective i look around everything the idea of the project the team behind it the use cases the potential for the project the roadmap ahead and for me if the idea is good but the product is set for a year or more in the roadmap i'm not putting my money because there is no product and it will take more than the date set in the roadmap, the tokenomics are also crucial and also how much money they want to collect
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you using ETH for? on: September 21, 2018, 09:13:51 AM
What have you been using your ETH for?

For trading
To buy ICO
For long term investment
Other - explain

yes that's pretty much it you hold some of it and for me i don't buy ico as most of them tend to trade below ico price on exchanges and that's why i use eth to buy newly listed coins or tokens on IDEX you can find some good investements this way.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best altcoin for you? on: September 20, 2018, 02:39:09 PM
I've seen a lot of cryptocurrencies trying to top off bitcoin with their benefits in investing and having wallets. Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin and many more, but as far as I know these altcoins are doing their very best to dethrone bitcoin, as of now I wanna know about these altcoins more, I wanna know what would be the best cryptocurrency for you, remove bitcoin on the list, what is the best altcoin after bitcoin? Give me your insights about it.

i would say that no one is trying to dethrone bitcoin just that other projects are trying to explore the use cases and see how far they can take it, you can say that by studying bitcoin these projects think of other ways to incorporate the tech or even change it a little to give different results , but i think that we're in that experiment phase now som teams will get the results they want and some will discover that what they have in mind can't be accomplished the way they want. for me it's just intriguing and intresting to see where all of this will result. Undecided
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how long will everyone can wait? on: September 20, 2018, 10:55:34 AM
Since january we all experience the red down lines
everyone experience this how long can you still hold your coins
and still hope for the best , are we waiting for another 3 years to reach the top
or we are now heading back to upward lines

i don't think anyone can tell when the market will reverse but for me personnaly i'm willing to wait as long as it takes as i am sure that this bear market will come to an end and an uptrend will take it's place and who knows maybe sonner than later  Grin
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is the beginning of the 2019 altcoin'll be back? on: September 20, 2018, 08:22:54 AM
Right now the prices of all altcoin in very drastic, especially ETH, whether in 2019 it'll be back, or just keep it stable?
Give me your opinion.

well yeah i think that this bear market does'nt have much downside left and the trend is set to reverse however no one can tell when that will happen but in my opinion it's a good time to be accumulating on the dips but no doubt i think bull market will happen in 2019
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you still belive in Crypto ? on: September 18, 2018, 10:35:38 AM
I know its a silly question looking for what is happening with market and like everybody i still think if even this year will be bad the next one should be better and even then crypto is still young (except bitcoin but what is 10 years). Do you guys still belive in alt and bitcoin? And im asking about technology not only a price couse price is ambivalent if we focus on technology

Yes of course i do, no body can deny now that blockchain has different use cases and can help revolutionize an industry and people and companies started exploring the technology a while ago but it will take some time for things to settle and the prices will go back up again it's just market cycles coming and going i think the potentiel is huge in the mid to long term .
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will become zero value? on: September 13, 2018, 01:44:45 PM
yep the fall has been going the whole way just like with every other coin out there but i don't think it will go to zero on the contrary i think it will rally again in a bull market and reach ATH again but if you bought before now is not the time to take your losses you just have to HODL and now is a good time to start buying at these levels and averging down. Grin
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop panicking start believing! on: September 13, 2018, 09:29:59 AM
anyone who's reasonable and have realistic expectations woudn't be panicking now but crypto attracted a lot of let's say inexperienced and emotional traders that think that they can turn 1000$ into a 100,000$ in a week "because crypto" but i think this bear market will weed out all the shaky hands and people who can't handle the ups and downs of a market like this and everyone left will be better for it.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS CRYPTO TRADING ADDICTION? on: September 12, 2018, 01:54:01 PM
I heard about a guy in Moscow, who jumped out of the window, because he lost all his money in crypto investments and trading. So, do we have a new free heroin here? Is it possible to get addicted to crypto?

i don't think that crypto is addictive but i know for sure that gambling is stuff like that happens all the time with people putting money they can't afford to lose on extremly volatile assets in a not so regulated market you kind of know how the story ends. i think i love crypto so much because i have a minor gambling addiction nothing out of the normal though  Grin
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum lowest price on: September 12, 2018, 10:55:39 AM
Last year ethereum also experienced a decline as it is now, but to my knowledge does the price not fall as badly as this? how could this happen? what is behind it?

the fall is kind of hard but again we're still in a bear market so you can expect prices to be falling and projects that collects eth for their ico will dump fast so they can secure their money i don't know i read somewhere that a certain project got over 300M$ in ETH in december only to be worth now some 28M$ and also all the recent talks of scalabality and network congestion that didn't help the price so it's free falling now but i still think ETH is a project that's worth investing in.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH is $174. It is the bottom of the chart. on: September 12, 2018, 09:40:41 AM
i don't know if the bottom is in for real but buying ethereum around these levels is a good idea while keep on laddering down you could set yourself up for some real gains down the line that is if you have the patience to wait for it because i don't think anyone knows how long this bear market will last but fortune favors the brave. Grin
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Credits (CS) partners with Lenovo - moon? on: September 07, 2018, 10:21:12 AM
Most of us probably know of Credits by now, they're often dismissed as not being a real contended despite signs of having the fastest blockchain by a long way. Legitimacy has always been a concern. As of now they've just announced a partnership with Lenovo. What do you think this will do to the price?

https://credits.com/en/Home/New_Ins/4154

Here's the link for you guys.

i think it's good news for investors now they can rest assured that the team is working hard and establishing partnerships that need to bring real value to the world but i don't think that Credits will moon since we're in a bear market and good news don't reflect much on the price .but it's very promising for the future.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Altcoin be independent ? on: September 06, 2018, 02:16:30 PM
Bitcoin’s value does indeed affect the price of all altcoins since BTC/AltCoin trading pairs are the most commonly used and is usually the standard go to exchange pair on all cryptocurrency exchanges. So can Altcoin break all the relationship from bitcoin and run as a independent currency.

i think it's possible to to seperate them but that's not happening now most exchanges don't trade Fiat pairs and have only a few coins against USDT/TUSD if more and more exchanges start trading vs USD/EUR i think there values could seperate but the regulation are just ambigous now that not alot of exchanges can get into it.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't go to ICO!i was cheated again! on: September 06, 2018, 09:24:16 AM
People should just do their research to the best and take responsibility for their losing investement we know that there is not enough regulation to protect you in this space and as a result you will have to do that for yourself by learning and being dilligent and accept that if the project dies that it was your decision to invest in it and the best thing you can do is to try to take the lessons from it so you can improve the quality of your next investements.
