1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in gambling experts predictions? on: April 06, 2024, 09:29:28 PM
Even sites that are known to give sure predictions also fail in thier prediction and that's why you can't even rely on such thing as expert prediction.

There's no sure prediction. It is called prediction because it was something not sure to happen.

You relied on prediction, to give you more ingredients in your current analysis, not to directly follow it and place a bet on it.

Of course, there's no 100% prediction. It won't be called prediction anymore if those are accurate.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: March 31, 2024, 07:09:14 AM
Without the play-ins, many teams would've rested their main players with minor injuries to heal and give way to the other players.

I guess that statement can only applied in the Eastern Conference where as always, you can see there's not much close competition for the bottom playoff spot. Before the involvement of the Play-in tournament, the Eastern Conference is always like that. Even though there are still several games remaining in the season, if the team doesn't have a chance now to enter the playoffs, key players are now sitting out or just having a limited time of playing.

Different from the Western Conference every season, you can see teams are battling closely with each other and even those teams from 9th spot to 12 spot can still change the final playoffs lineup. And become more interesting and thrilling because of the addition of a play-in tournament.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing poker online better than offline? on: March 31, 2024, 06:33:43 AM
So what do you think?, how do other players know when I have good cards when playing online?

Depends on your call.

Since you are up against experienced online players, they are somehow used to determining what's on the mind of their opponent. But remember that it's about only their instinct and if you eat the bait, they will assume things that are currently on your mind. Anyway, just keep up with the others as possible as you can while playing online, and don't mind how they will know your next move. Instead, think of how will you determine their next move. Counter them with your strategy.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: March 30, 2024, 11:40:27 PM
The Dallas Mavericks are really impressive in their recent games.

Last season, many speculated that Kyrie Irving was not fit for the Dallas Mavericks but that all changed this season.

It's also noticeable that Kyrie Irving has many dunks established this season which is unusual to him. I want to see the team reaching the Finals.

Looks like they are not given a chance to take their spot because is a sure playoff game for them and they don't need to play in the play-in tournament at this point if they can preserve their spot. I think this is one of the best seasons for the Mavs and they made the right decision not trading Kyrie to the other team rather they made some good adjustments in order to synch him play with Luka and their Duo is in another level obviously compared to last season, me too, they are one of the teams that I really wanted to see in the final as well, not because of the team but because of their current rosters.

I thought they would lose that game against the Sacramento Kings but they were able to make a rally. If I remember right, they are being downed as many as 13 points several times and the Sacramento Kings dominated the whole game not until the final few minutes. Dallas was also downed by 10 points in the last 8 minutes of the game. They just made it close during the final few minutes and finally sealed a win.

Dante Exum's crucial shot, PJ Washington's offensive help, and Daniel Gafford's tough defense also contribute big on that win.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How about your experience in taking part in the same bet with friends? on: March 30, 2024, 11:17:04 PM
I feel a bit relaxed there when I participate in the same bet with my friends. Because even if I lose there, I get consolation seing from others. At the same time there are some differences of opinion before betting which sometimes creates confusion.

You need to start gambling without your friends now. It will be hard for you to cope up with future dealing with gambling if you always rely on your friends or if you need to share your experience with them. Not all the times that there are friends around that you can gamble with.

Should be your main goal right now to focus on gambling alone just to have a bit of relaxation too. Sooner or later you will use gambling alone and not be a problem anymore if you don't have your friends around you that are available to gamble with you.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been kicked out of a casino? on: March 30, 2024, 11:03:50 PM
Hi community,

We always hear about a gambler who has been harassed, expelled, or banned from a casino for a number of justified or unjustified reasons. There are those who have been banned for violating the laws or internal regulations of the casino, or for suspicious actions that negatively affect the course of play, or chaos inside the casino, or for other unknown reasons.

It's only a few times that I visited a physical casino but on all of my visits, never got that experience of being kicked out.

Like visiting a usual establishment, can we just remain to act normal at all times? There's no need to become an irresponsible person. A casino, in the first place, will never do such a thing as kicking out a person inside their premises if there's already an unusual behavior that now affects other people around. If there's a need to complain, there's always a support desk inside the casino and everyone can reach out to them to settle a matter.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can we help beginners not to get addicted on: March 30, 2024, 10:53:05 PM
I think majority of people who are addicted to gambling is because they do not understand gambling as beginners, the rules and the side effects of playing gambling excessively.

Don't expect beginners to act as long-time gamblers already that's why they are called beginners right? But fortunately, not all beginners are ended up addicted since they know how to use their common sense. I don't think we can really help them not to get addicted because they need to feel the actual pressure of gambling before they can think if getting involved in gambling for long will be good for them. If we just tell them the basic advice prior to their actual gambling, they won't understand at all since they don't experience yet being a big winner or big loser.

Just trust these beginners not to get addicted on the way. I still believe that there are lots of newbies who know how to use their common sense and will realize right away if there's something wrong already that is happening on their gambling journey.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poll: Games of sSkill or Games of Luck on: March 30, 2024, 10:39:19 PM
A tough choice to only choose one so I will vote for BOTH of them.

As a gambler for a long, there are lots of gambling types I already encountered be it luck games or skill games. I can't avoid playing only gambling type since everything was interesting to start with. My mood for today will tell me what gambling types should I risk with. But recently, I've been more playing luck games as that was what my mood is telling me to gamble with.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we still truly achieve anonymous gambling in crypto? on: March 24, 2024, 10:06:39 PM
Crypto has been known for anonymity. During the early stage, we like to promote it using the words "decentralized" and "anonymous ", and it's the main reason why a lot of gamblers have chosen to gamble using crypto to gain full privacy, but it seems like things have really change a lot now as gamblers are looking for a casino that are licensed while some casinos who promotes anonymous gambling eventually act like a fiat casino that requires KYC.

What do you think about this one, where is are we heading? And can we still consider crypto casino different from fiat casino?

Don't hug the anonymity in gambling even if we are in crypto. Don't be afraid of the issue of identity theft as long as you are not complying with KYC on bullshit gambling sites that have obvious characteristics of being a scam and not trustworthy.

There are lots of crypto-gambling sites nowadays that still don't push for KYC. If you are just a casual or average gambler, don't worry at all.

We can still play anonymously on most crypto-gambling sites as in most cases, they only asked KYC if the account was alarmed and doing big withdrawals.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Is Legal In Our Country But if You Promote It Online You'll Go To Jail? on: March 24, 2024, 09:22:00 PM
You're right this is a bit too much. The way I see it they're throwing the baby out with the bathwater. They don't want people to scam newcomers by giving them a false sense of security in a casino, pretending that it's easy to win and as a result making those newbies lose money. Not allowing to post your wins at all it going too far because this is like telling people to shut up and not discuss anything. We are allowed to discuss politics, history, new technologies, but can't share our wins in a casino? Can we even say that we were in a casino? What's next, they won't allow you to say who you voted for or that you own a gun?
This is stupid and I've never seen a country actually ban free speech this way.

Don't post crappy things here if you don't understand everything. Did you even take the time to read the article? Or do you know what's the status of promoting online gambling in PH? The proposed bill is not stupid at all if you will not just read the title of this thread.

There are lots of online influencers already who promote gambling in PH. These streamers didn't even think twice but just for the content, they will promote several different gambling sites, even though some are not officially registered to the country's main gambling bureau which is PAGCOR. In case of a scam, these streamers will just hide for several weeks and then go back again streaming like nothing happened.

It's stupid to think that by posting your wins, you will go to jail. Please understand the proposed bill first before reacting.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Try to stick to your instincts as a gambler on: March 23, 2024, 08:08:45 PM
~

Last week, I picked few matches I wanted bet on and before I could stake on it, one of the games had already started. My instinct tells me to wager on it like that but I ignored and added another game to make my potential winning a round figure. When the games ended it was the one game I added that spoilt my bet. So I understand the feeling, but if one of your games had lost you won't be saying this, so be happy and thankful that you won something regardless of the amount.

At the very end, our judgment of what happened just realized because we see now the result. If we think that our winning rate is not better whether following our own instinct or not, then we can stick on what's the most effective between each two. We can do a test run on our several bets then from there, check what's the better to use in the long-run.

Sports betting is also a tough gambling that even with good analysis, our bet are still subject to a 50/50 win-loss percentage.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can bring positivity and light into people's lives on: March 23, 2024, 07:26:00 PM
1.Winning Life-Changing Prizes: For some individuals, a significant win in gambling can change their lives for the better. There are numerous stories of people winning large jackpots in lotteries or casinos, allowing them to
pay off debts, support their families, start businesses, or pursue lifelong dreams. These instances of financial windfalls can bring newfound stability, happiness, and opportunities into the lives of winners.

There are 2 things I see when someone wins a life-changing prize;

1. They will use the money for good (establish businesses, buy their properties, invest in the future, and slowly leave the gambling world).
2. Winning a life-changing prize might fuel the eagerness to gamble more and slowly they don't realize that money is now turning bankrupt.

I hope future winners will always be bracketed under Number 1 but unfortunately, there are lots of stories I heard already under Number 2.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does pragmatic play bonus buy really worth it? on: March 23, 2024, 07:03:18 PM
Before, I tried a series of buying bonuses on their game, Starlight Princess. I'm playing at a local online casino.

(USD 1 = PHP 55)
Bet: PHP 1
Buy Free Spins Worth: PHP 100
Bankroll: PHP 500

I’m surprisingly to the minimum bet of pragmatic play is insanely low when using a fiat currency on bet. As far as I know 0.2$ is the minimum bet of Pragmatic games and 0.1$ on some of their games but still that will only give around 5 to 7php when converted. What local casino you are using so that I can try it? Most of the local casino in our country usually doesn’t have pragmatic provider and only offer those chinese slot game provider which is sucks.

I was also surprised by the minimum bet allowed. In other gambling sites, the minimum is Php 10 at most Pragmatic Games which is around $0.18. Before, users here couldn't also access Pragmatic Play using direct ISP. If I'm also not mistaken, it's just around I think less than a year since Pragmatic Plays allows users from our region. No need for VPN stuff.

Even if I mentioned the local online casino site I doubt you can fully use the service since the accepted withdrawal method is only available in our country (or if you heard GCASH and Paymaya, and there's a way to access it on your side). There are options for bank accounts but adding that method isn't available now.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Friends engaging on P2P gambling insights grudges amongst themselves on: March 22, 2024, 11:53:36 AM
To me, in general, that seems wickedness of gambling between friends on a P2P because such friends are not worthy to be trusted considering the sentiments in playing to win.
I would say that is a daylight extortions amongst each others.

Just go with the flow. Later on, I'm sure both of your friends will soon make peace with each other.

It's normal to see and witness P2P gambling within a circle of friends. It also happened here in our place in several games like, card games (Lucky 9, Pusoy), basketball games (local games, NBA, FIBA, actual basketball game between us), billiards (per table, poker card games, straight, 9ball, 8ball) and other games.

To the point that will exchange fist because of mocking with each other, well that's a different story and you guys need to step in.

Before, I tried a series of buying bonuses on their game, Starlight Princess. I'm playing at a local online casino.

(USD 1 = PHP 55)
Bet: PHP 1
Buy Free Spins Worth: PHP 100
Bankroll: PHP 500

Result: Not satisfying. 3 consecutive buy bonuses worth PHP 300 and the return total is just around PHP 170+. I know the number of purchases I made isn't enough to conclude but I'm expecting at least 1/3 of my buy bonus will give me good profits. At least, I've experienced the bonus feature which is hard to trigger in a manual spin.

Next move: Instead of buying the bonus feature, I turned ON the double the chance to win the bonus feature. I managed to trigger several bonus features although the win is not that much, the total amount I get is enough to make my bankroll last longer.

Final Result: Still busted lol after playing several hours.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: March 17, 2024, 05:01:10 PM
He needs to continue working on his diet, whatever his following now it's helping him to keep his stamina and also helping him to avoid having an injury, his performances really help his team a lot, with that numbers that he's prducing that brings more offensive arsenal and what we are witnessing right now only proves that his presence really have a big impact to their rally,.

Not directly with the diet but Los Angeles Clippers just can't stop Zion Williamson on that night. It was pointed out by Tyron Lue after the game that Zion is not just an inside scoring machine but can also hit shots from the perimeter. Currently, Zion is still not concerned about his diet as long as he can perform well as for him, there's no problem lol.

If he cares about his diet now, there should be no clause about the mandatory diet on his current contract.

The first time I heard given for a player lol.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stop gambling if you don’t have free time to do it on: March 17, 2024, 04:24:01 PM
I think the subject title isn't appropriate since of course, how can you even do gambling in the first place if you don't have time to do it?

The appropriate title would be,

"Don't force yourself to gamble if amid our busy schedule"
"Stop gambling if it's affecting our real-life responsibilities already"

Either both, time management is important in our everyday life.

We should try to change, or much better remove already, some of our regular habits that don't contribute good anymore in our life.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which player are you? on: March 16, 2024, 05:45:49 PM
Do you prefer games where you know right away whether you've won (or lost) casino style, or do you prefer other games like sports betting? Do you have any other favorite games?

I do know how to play both casino games and sports betting. Both are interesting to me to play with. The reasons? Casino games have that unexpected good winning result every time that scatter arrives. In sports betting, since I'm a long-time sports fan already, that helps me create my own set of analysis on what should be the better pick.

Unfortunately, while both are entertaining and interesting to play with, both can also destroy our bankroll in an instant if not managed properly.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: March 16, 2024, 05:19:22 PM
..it clearly shows that Coverge doesn't play defense, no wonder they are at the bottom now.

On the other hand, even though there's a defense, Magnolia is just draining every shot at every field. With a 52% percentage shooting they did, it means they are having hot hands that night that even well defended, their shots are draining every time.

Besides, I don't expect Converge to shine at the All-local Conference. They are clear to be eliminated after the regular games ended.

They are usually seen as competitive only during import conferences. I hope they can snipe a good import in the next import conference.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you prefer betting your own predictions or from prediction site on: March 16, 2024, 05:08:46 PM
There are gamblers who have great instincts and can forecast games that may end up winning the bet. But they are scared that they may lose. They dont trust their own betting predictions so they would rather go to a gambling prediction site to some daily betting tips.

So i want to know as a gambler that you are, do you feel following those betting predictions from those sites would favour us in gambling more than our own predictions? For me i trust my predictions and i have won more when i predict for myself than letting someone predict for me.

Predictions from those sites you are referring to are formed with their factors and analysis. If you are familiar with the leagues you are betting with, it's either trust your analysis or for a much more effective analysis, you can combine your analysis and those you will see at those sites. It will give you a much better view of your final output compared to other predictions.

Either way, it doesn't matter where you rely on. As long as you understand where will you put your bet, that is most matter.
