1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Errol Spence vs Sebastian Fundora - Oct on: Today at 03:48:07 AM

Agreed on there is a risk, however, I reckon this is very low risk for Errol Spence. It is also headshaking that everyone is creating storylines of doubt about Spence. Who was the only boxer who has won against him in his whole career? This is Bud Crawford who is presently the pound for pound best boxer in the world and everyone is speculating that this fight vs. Fundora might be very risky? This is a tune up fight for the former other king of welterweight.

Whenever a fighter takes the kind of beating that Spence did, they are never quite the same. This is on top of being badly injured in a car accident and having serious eye problems. Also, he is only fighting once every 12+ months. This level of inactivity could be detrimental. Fundora might be a weak champion, but Spence is far from being in his best form. It is always a challenge for Fundora’s opponents figuring out how to deal with his height. Even if he is easy to hit, you will have a hard time avoiding his counters, which may include elbows as we saw against Tim Tszyu.

I very much agree on the argument on Errol Spence not being in similar form and confidence after the type of loss that he has experienced against Bud. However, my argument is Bud Crawford is presently no.1 pound for pound in the sport of boxing, the other king of welterweight and he very much can win against Usyk if he has the size of a heavyweight boxer. Who is this Fundora before Tim Tszyu?

Also, it has been speculated that Spence was dehydrated and weak for the fight vs. Crawford. He will not have this problem vs. Fundora because this fight will be in super welterweight. This might be a knockout victory for Errol Spence.
2  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: SEC vs Binance on: Today at 02:29:36 AM
@zasad@. It would be very headshaking if your argument is that a regulated mainstream media news outlet that values their business license to continue operating is publishing fake articles. However, if you are telling everyone that CZ stole $4.32 billion from his own customers to personally pay this to the American government then the burden of proof is to you.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Errol Spence vs Sebastian Fundora - Oct on: June 06, 2024, 02:20:04 AM

Errol is almost as soft as Devin Haney being exposed, all the time in their career they were just fighting low-level boxers playing numbers for their boxing records but when they are matched to someone just right where their skillset level, they fold in the ring.

Fundora is also the same but after fighting Tszyu, he proved himself. I think Fundora will battle Spence to the ground.

It was speculated that the reason why Errol Spence did not have a strong fight vs. Bud Crawford is because Errol is very much dehydrated in welterweight. He is becoming very heavy for this weight division already. Also, similar to what @bisdak40 has mentioned, Fundora is not a very good boxer. This fight for Errol is the tune up fight that he needs hehe. However, a tune up fight with a championship hehehehehe.

A risk that is worth taking, I think this is what Spence is thinking in this fight. And for me, we can compare this to Tank fighting Mario Barrios for a belt at 140 lbs. So I will take a word from you, this could be a "scam" as Spence has a great chance to win this fight.

In paper it looks good for Fundora as he won against Tim Tszyu, however, if not for the accidental cut, it could be a different outcome and Tim could have won the fight. And another factor is that they know that Fundora just came from that messy fight and so he might not have recovered yet.

There might be no risk for Errol Spence for this fight. He might be thinking why is he very much lucky to be given a tune up fight but with a championship hehehehe. It is Tim Tszyu who has made a mistake on choosing Vergil Ortiz for his next fight after an upset loss heheheheh. Tszyu might lose again. He should have activated for immediate rematch and win back his WBO super welterweight championship.

There is still a risk though, what if Fundora beat him? he might consider retiring already.  As for Tszyu, very bad news, Bitter blow for Aussie boxing star Tim Tszyu as doctor orders next fight be scrapped.

So everything is up to Spence now, he was given this opportunity to fight for a world title and hopefully he won't waste it so that we can still the rematch between him and Crawford at 54 when they are champions, I think that is the plan.

Agreed on there is a risk, however, I reckon this is very low risk for Errol Spence. It is also headshaking that everyone is creating storylines of doubt about Spence. 4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: June 06, 2024, 01:54:56 AM
I predict that the next storyline will be Ryan and his team will declare that there is a conspiracy against him and they will blame the corruptness of the people behind the sport of boxing. However, it would also not be very shocking if this was the truth because, yes, the corruptness of the people behind the sport of boxing heehhehe.

@Kemarit. Clearly that is not brown stains that went out from his anus. However, if this is true then Devin Haney should wear dark brown boxing shorts for their rematch hehe.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Donald Trump's stance on Bitcoin is changing, the Trump pump is beginning on: June 06, 2024, 12:53:41 AM
@BALIK. I thank you for the update.

@legiteum. You are also implying that if there is a big dump occurrence on markets before the presidential elections on November, this will cause voters from the cryptospace might remove their support for Joe Biden? This implies that it is safe to speculate that the Biden administration will very much do everything to stop a market dump under his administration. However, how good is the economy and can they do this until November? Pump the campaign, sell the election hehehehee.
6  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: SEC vs Binance on: June 06, 2024, 12:22:40 AM
It was Binance Holdings Ltd. that paid for the fine of $4.3 billion.

Binance Holdings Ltd. will pay $4.3 billion after a judge approved a plea deal that levies one of the largest criminal penalties in US history against the world’s biggest cryptocurrency exchange.

Source https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2024-02-23/binance-4-3-billion-payment-in-us-plea-deal-approved-by-judge

Where did they get the money for this? According to this article, the revenue of Binance was $5.5 billion for 2020, $20 billion for 2021 and $12 billion for 2022. I speculate that 2023 might be more than $5 billion.

https://www.businessofapps.com/data/binance-statistics/

In any case, it would be difficult to discuss if you are telling me something is real, however, you have no proof. I reckon CZ is an alien from outerspace who began investing in bitcoin on 2010 but I have no proof.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 05, 2024, 05:09:01 AM
Might be interesting to see Teo Lopez vs Ryan Garcia as the center piece of the fight. And how do you think the match in this fight besides the fighter that I mentioned?

I wouldn't be surprised if Ryan is the heavy favorite if this fight happens. This is one of the fights I would like to see this year—two warriors going against each other. I'm sure it will end with a knockout from either boxer, but I would always back Ryan to win here as I'm impressed with his performance against Haney. I'm not sure if Teo is quick enough to negate Ryan's reach advantage, which I'm sure Ryan will use to prevent Teo's attacks and to dominate the fight.

It certainly will be very head scratching if Ryan Garcia is the heavy favorite against Teo Lopez. If he will be chosen by the oddsmakers as the favorite, it will be a small favorite, I reckon. I am very much aware that Ryan won vs. Devin Haney, however, this might imply more that Devin Haney might not be as good as the hype than King Ry is a very good boxer. If you tell me that I am wrong, watch Devin Haney vs. Loma. I speculate Teo will be the favorite for this fight.

Would I be mistaken to predict that the 49ers will win a superbowl before 2027? Their qb is improving, Deebo Samuel and Christian McCaffrey are on the peak of their careers, Brandon Aiyuk also improving and they have the best defensive team in the NFL. 49ers might play in the superbowl on 2025 against another team. I will shake my head if Reid, Mahomes, Kelce and Swift will do this again as underdogs.

Christian McCaffrey triple-stamped his double stamp atop the running back market.

The San Francisco 49ers and the reigning Offensive Player of the Year agreed to a two-year contract extension worth $19 million per year, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Tuesday, per a source informed of the deal. The team later announced McCaffrey's extension.

Given his importance to the Niners' deep postseason runs -- and the fact that the club was essentially getting a deal with the Panthers having paid the bonus money -- CMC was in line for a new pact this offseason. The deal keeps him under contract until 2027, when he'll be 31, and provides security for the back.

9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Donald Trump's stance on Bitcoin is changing, the Trump pump is beginning on: June 05, 2024, 03:30:34 AM
According to mainstream financial news media, Trump and Elon are discussing about policies on the cryptospace very much similar to Bitcoin Magazine's CEO David Bailey who is also discussing cryptospace policies with Trump.

We cannot be quite certain if this will change them to become procrypto, however, I will argue again that I will always be a skeptic unless an administration will do these 4 changes.

1. They will stop their cases against Uniswap and Coinbase.
2. The SEC will create clear guidelines in what is an illegal security and what is a commodity.
3. They create new KYC rules because their old rules have been difficult for the people in the cryptospace.
4. They stop treating the Tornado Cash founders and other developers of privacy software very much like criminals.

Elon Musk and Donald Trump are discussing cryptocurrency policy as the former president increasingly highlights Bitcoin and other digital assets on the campaign trail as a way to reach new voters, according to a person familiar with the talks.

@zasad@. No, I do not know what CZ did. If you are implying that he stole billions in customer funds, can you tell me when this has occurred and show me the proof of this?

Also, it was Binance that paid for the $4.32 billion penalty to the American government. CZ's personal fine was less than 3% of $4.32 billion that Binance has paid.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 U.S. Presidential Election Bets! on: June 04, 2024, 04:39:32 AM
@STT. I very much agree which I speculate that the sportsbooks and prediction markets offers to not be the correct odds. The present odds of 1.70 is an overestimation of Trump's victory, I reckon. The news media outlets presently also appear to be overestimating Trumps odds on winning on November. This is certainly very head shaking. They reporting this with the assumption that the prediction market on Polymarket us a source of truth.

12  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Daily FUD Thread: Michael Saylor dumps his MSTR shares on: June 04, 2024, 03:46:55 AM
This is not fud, however, the cryptonews media is starting to create a storyline that Michael Saylor might not anymore be a bitcoin maximalist in his arguments. Also, the Saylor jerkers who ride Saylor's sausage in the community might also be disappointed because it appears that he is admitting that there might be a second best heheheeh.

There Is a Second Best: Bitcoin Bull Michael Saylor Softens on Ethereum

For years, MicroStrategy founder Michael Saylor refrained from acknowledging the existence of such a thing as the “crypto industry.” To him, there was Bitcoin—an asset he likened to the gold of our time—and then thousands of cheap imitators hardly worth mentioning.

“There is no second best,” the entrepreneur—who may personally own more than one billion dollars worth of BTC—was known to say.

That is, at least, until now.

It appears that the shocking, eleventh-hour approval of spot Ethereum ETFs two weeks ago has caused the Bitcoin maximalist to shift his stance on crypto—or at the very least, to adjust his political calculus.

Now, the Ethereum ETF approval—which some industry analysts suggest means that Ethereum cannot be considered a security—appears to have changed his views on the viability of crypto as an industry bigger than just Bitcoin.

"I think right now the best expectation is [that] the crypto asset class will be legitimized,” Saylor said.

“I think that we are politically much more powerful [when] supported by the entire crypto industry,” Saylor said. “They obviously have a lot of political power, a lot of users.”

13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance NFT Marketplace is stopping support for Ordinals and Runes on April 18th on: June 04, 2024, 02:40:29 AM
It appears that after everyone's negative attitude on Ordinals in the forum, which I reckon this forum is also a big influencer on the whole bitcoin community, the market has still grown and this might also imply that there is an increasing number of NFT holders who use the bitcoin blockchain. Why is this increasing if bitcoiners hate NFTs on bitcoin? Who are these NFT holders? Are they new users? Are NFTs their first introduction on bitcoin?

In the first week of June 2024, data revealed that the Bitcoin blockchain generated $3.82 billion from NFT sales. Although NFTs on Bitcoin were previously available through technologies like Counterparty, the introduction of Ordinal inscriptions has significantly increased the popularity of BTC-based NFTs, even amid a general decline in the digital collectibles market. The $3.82 billion has positioned BTC within the top five blockchains for NFT sales, securing the fourth spot just below the Ronin chain.

@zasad. You can argue that CZ is more nimble than Sam Bankman Fried and people may agree or disagree. However, that is not applicable in this argument. They are different cases where on CZ's case, they American government can create a deal with CZ. On Sam Bankman Fried's case, it is difficult to make a similar deal because Sam Bankman Fried committed fraud, a higher type of crime according to US law.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 U.S. Presidential Election Bets! on: June 03, 2024, 03:56:02 AM
What does everyone speculate on Trump's chance on being nominated as the official candidate for the Republicans after his conviction as a felon? Is it very much possible for them to support another candidate or is it late to make another choice? I reckon the other candidates are not as popular as him.

In any case, the prediction market Polymarket appears to imply that it will remain to be Trump vs. Biden. If you bet on this not being Trump vs. Biden, you will win 733%.

Everyone appears to be talking about Islam and Dustin Poirier and also being reminded that there is also Sean Strickland vs. Paulo Costa. However, I also want to remind everyone that there is a sexy fighting kitten for this event and her name is Ailin Perez from the country of Argentina.

On her introduction by Bruce Buffer in the octagon she will show her respect on her opponent with her welcome circle walk and bow.

However, on her victory dance, this does not appear to be very respectful heehhehehehe.

Finally she managed to win her fight against Joselyne Edwards (by decision) and she did her signature twerk movement in the octogon after her victory.
https://x.com/alvezjulian_/status/1797058626760138849
But you should fill a bit disappointed today to not have taken my offer, no? Because you would have won the bet. Islam Makhachev has beaten Dustin Poirier in the last round, by submission with a choke. Not a rear naked choke, a D’Arce choke precisely, but a regular one as I suggested.

Yes he can win by KO or TKO for sure, or even by a kimura or an armbar submission and if you had bet on a victory by rear naked choke submission you would lose your bet despite his nice victory, you might feel wronged, but that's how it is. Betting on how he will win is just not the same thing as betting if he will win or not. So if you don't feel comfortable with betting on his precise winning method, we could just bet on a victory by choke. It means Islam would have to win the fight and to get his victory by submitting his opponent with a choke. But any kind of choking technique would be ok and not only the rear naked one.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chokehold#Types

Yes, however, this bet on Islam to get the victory with any choke is not very much exciting and Duelbits and other sportsbooks offer this type of bet already. If I want to bet, I want this to be my donation for you or I win an amount 10 times of my bet hehehehe.

Also, another reason I did not want to bet this is because there were rumors that Islam had a staph infection. This implies that he is taking antibiotics which causes weak muscles and stamina for the fighter.

St-Pierre's Coach Coach Calls Islam Makhachev's Staph Infection 'Pretty Bad'

While discussing UFC 302 on the Tristar Gym YouTube channel, Zahabi was asked how Makhachev's alleged staph infection could influence his fight. The coach first checked out the pictures from the latest photo shoot and was quick to suggest that Makhachev indeed absolutely has a staph infection.

17  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mtgox coin is moving from cold storage on: June 03, 2024, 01:17:14 AM
We all knew one day it would finally come and those coins would move. Bitcoin at the moment isn’t really shaken up by the market. As you can see there was not much movement due to the news. Maybe because it’s another 4-5 months before it’s actually sent to the retail users.

Bitcoin might survive this dump but I wonder what will happen to BitcoinCash. I am sure many will want to hold some bitcoin but Bitcoin cash most likely they will liquidate. Should be interesting to watch.

Agreed, we knew of this information already. However, this news might also be taken as a reminder for others that the chance of a big dump is coming soon and cause everyone to be fearful. I reckon it might be better to wait for this big dump occurrence before everyone begins buying again.

I cannot predict the future, however, we can be certain that some of the altcoins with communities that continue to support them will survive a big dump.

Binance CEO Teng Says Nigeria Must Release 'Beloved Colleague' Gambaryan
Binance CEO Richard Teng called on the Nigerian government to release Tigran Gambaryan, head of the crypto exchange's Financial Crime Compliance team, who flew to the country in February for talks on regulatory supervision.

"As you may be aware, one of our beloved colleagues, Tigran Gambaryan, continues to be held by the government in Nigeria for more than 70 days," Teng wrote in a blog post. "I also feel that it's time to speak out about this issue on behalf of the global business community. To invite a company's mid-level employees for collaborative policy meetings, only to detain them, has set a dangerous new precedent for all companies worldwide."
The exchange's Regional Manager for Africa, Nadeem Anjarwalla, was also detained in February, and made headlines in March after escaping custody.

blah.. blah
CZ paid 4 billion and received a prison sentence of 5 months. SBF did not pay and received 25 years in prison.
Binance has earned good profits in Nigeria. The important question is whether they are ready to spend resources on freeing their former employees or whether they will receive long prison sentences.

However, we should also put in consideration that they have different cases. CZ's case is very much similar to the offenses of the traditional banks where their platforms were used for moneylaundering but they did not scam their own customers and used their money to gamble on the market with high leverage. Sam Bankman Fried performed a fraudulent act, CZ was not proven to directly launder dirty money for criminals.

20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Donald Trump's stance on Bitcoin is changing, the Trump pump is beginning on: June 01, 2024, 01:28:01 AM

Honestly, I don't know if Trump really cares about bitcoin and cryptocurrency or if he's just lying to achieve his goals. But I will also support Mr. Trump over Biden or any Democratic Party candidate because if the Democratic Party continues to dominate the White House, the Biden administration's draconian policies on cryptocurrency will not disappear anytime soon. We don't seem to have too many choices here, so I think it's better to choose Mr. Trump than support Biden when he is trying to oppose and prevent the development of the cryptocurrency industry.

Like you, I partly believe that Trump will make cryptocurrency grow stronger and more popular, because he is a businessman and he will not give up any opportunity if it can bring US economic interests.

I reckon these are the occurrences where I will certainly begin to trust that the Trump administration is being serious on their procrypto agenda.

Is this what the Trump administration has promised us in recent statements?

Trump promised only 3 things. Free Ross Ulbricht on day 1 of his presidency, protect the right of self custody and reject the creation of CBDC. However, these things do not signal a real friendly administration to the cryptospace. I am also very skeptical if he will free Ross Ulbricht on day 1 heheheheheh. The list in my reply is what I reckon would certainly signal a real friendly administration towards the cryptospace. If they do not do this, I would be quite certain that they are not procrypto.

I don't know if he promised these 3 things if elected president, the only thing I know is that he promised to release Ross Ulbricht but I think this will not be as easy as he said, I agreed.
We should not expect too much that when Trump is elected, the government will become more friendly to cryptocurrencies, but at least I believe that he will bring more fairness to us and there will be no more unreasonable repression like what is going on.

What's even more funny is that after Trump declared his support for bitcoin and cryptocurrency, according to some sources, the Biden administration is also changing its stance on the cryptocurrency industry to prepare for re-election. I hope these will have a positive impact on our upcoming super bull season  Cheesy.

He also mentioned the rejection of CBDC and the protection of the people's right to custody of their cryptocoins in the same speech in a libertarian convention.

In any case, I agree on everyone's skepticism and I already mentioned that I would only trust that an administration is procrypto if they do these 4 things. I will repeat here if no one saw this or if this is being ignored because this is more important than the promise of Trump on Ross Ulbricht.
