1001  Economy / Speculation / Re: what a surprise dip on: August 18, 2023, 12:18:39 AM
Cant provide with some TA analysis on here but we know that Technicals could easily be fucked up suddenly by sudden news or simply with Fundamentals.

Unpacking SpaceX Bitcoin 2021-2022 sales worth $373M
Elon Musk’s SpaceX Liquidates Entire $373,000,000 Bitcoin Stash

This is why i dont really trust up technicals most of the time specially that news something similar or like this could pop out just like in a blink of an eye.
Feel sorry for those who had made out some long positions for sure they had been liquidated.

It appears that I am not very updated to cryptonews as I would have liked hehe. I have always thought that Elon's companies have already sold all of the bitcoins held in their treasury on 2021 - 2022.

In any case, it appears that Tesla has 10,725 bitcoins left in their balance sheet according to some articles, the speculation should presently be if Elon will give the command to sell them also. This will be head shaking because clown Elon declared bitcoin a long term investment on 2021 and he said that Tesla will accept it as payment.
1002  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game-🔴🔴🔴BET RED IN CRASH!🔴🔴🔴 Find More Unique Games! on: August 17, 2023, 05:37:44 AM
I cannot stop laughing hehehehe.

Has anyone also noticed that there is always a scam accusation in 90% of the threads of every casino trying to promote their business in the forum? Many of the scam accusations are also started by new accounts. This is head shaking. The skeptical me would think that these people are hired and funded by fiat sportsbooks and casinos to spam and attack gambling services that are native to the cryptospace.
I cannot either.
This guy created this account to post about it. He even published in the Bangladesh Local thread that the BC game is a scam and asked others not to play there without understanding that JB is playing money and it cannot be withdrawn. If someone has any currency in the Bc game balance, it also shows in fiat like USD or other currencies. If that coin does not show, anything means it is worthless.

Sometimes we have to see such scam accusations while nothing happened, and the accuser acts like this is the end of the world. Look at his writing style. He used Capital letters to get the community's attention while proving himself DUMB.

There are also other occurrences of scam accusations where the accuser is a newbie, however, the account was created before 2016 - 2017. I am not accusing that these are farmed accounts but it appear for me only that they might be farmed accounts being used for some purpose. How impossible would it be that someone can hire account farmers to provoke a certain group of users of casinos or services in the cryptospace?
1003  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: More Regulation Incoming! on: August 17, 2023, 04:51:53 AM
@zasad@. I am not quite certain why hehehe. I also do not know what would be the best financial decision to manage $72 billion. However, if Tether and Paypal have trust the in American government and also have trust in their ability to once again get out of another economic crisis then for them it would be a good financial decision because they earn yield.

It is very much similar to us DeFi enjoyers who farm our stablecoins for yield but also taking the risk that the platform might be hacked or might be a rugpull hehehehe.
1004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal UK To (Temporally) Halt Bitcoin and Crypto Purchases on: August 17, 2023, 04:20:10 AM
My prediction. The future of Paypal in the cryptospace will be their stablecoin to cryptocoin swaps. Your fiat in their platform will need to be converted to PYUSD if you want to buy crypto. On Paypal UK, I reckon might begin to allow bitcoin and other cryptocoin purchases again when they are ready to issue their stablecoin for UK accounts and only allow cryptocoin purchases through their stablecoin.

In any case, Paypal has also signed a partnership with Ledger hardware wallet.

After launching an Ethereum-based stablecoin last week, PayPal, the $70B global payments firm, has launched a new fiat on-ramp for U.S. users in partnership with Ledger, a leading hardware wallet maker.

Ledger Live users can now purchase BTC, ETH, LTC, and BCH via a PayPal account, subject to state laws. PayPal noted that users who have previously purchased crypto via a PayPal account can access the service without undergoing additional identity verification.

1005  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Updated] FTX on: August 17, 2023, 03:16:49 AM
Latest news on August 14 - Sam Bankman-Fried [criminal] used $100 million in customer funds for political donations in order to pass laws.
The word "donations" is misused in my opinion. Politicians who were willing to accept that money and thus seek to change legislation to suit the case could be considered complicit. This is called "bribery" and has no other designation. But we have not heard that any of these members have been suspended or held accountable.
Even before the collapse of Ftx, Sam Bankman Fried was known to give money to some MPs and politicians without any legal reason for doing so. I find it strange that this is not punishable and is considered a "donation".

Agreed and it would expose many politicians' names during the cross examinations in the trial. I would become very worried if I was the parents of Sam Bankman-Fried. If he goes to prison, he might become something similar to Jeffrey Epstein before he can say anything. I would say it in advance again, Sam did not kill himself.

They might put something in his Adderall and declare that he died of an overdose.

Sam Bankman-Fried’s legal team is asking a U.S. district court judge to grant the former FTX CEO “uninterrupted access” to his daily prescribed medication while he is in jail. That includes Adderall for treatment of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD.

1006  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could Bitcoin potentially serve as a safe haven in the upcoming economic crisis on: August 17, 2023, 02:20:40 AM
@mk4. However, bitcoin's correlation with the more traditional markets has been going down. If this continues after every bull and bear markets, we might witness bitcoin being considered by traditional finance as an alternative investment for hedging. The interest on a spot ETF for bitcoin is clearly a sign of this. I shake my head to the doubters.

The falling correlation has been noticed since July.

Bitcoin's (BTC) fortune is no longer tied to sentiment in the U.S. stock markets.
The 90-day rolling correlation of changes in bitcoin's spot price to changes in Wall Street's tech-heavy equity index, Nasdaq, and the broader index, S&P 500, has declined to near zero. That's the lowest in two years, according to data tracked by crypto derivatives analytics firm Block Scholes.

The dwindling correlation with traditional risk assets means that crypto traders focusing solely on traditional market sentiment and macroeconomic developments may face disappointment.

I couldn't count how many times bitcoin has correlated and de-correlated from traditional markets since the past. Who's to say it can't correlate sometimes soon again? I wouldn't make investment decisions based on this personally.

Yes hehehe, I was assuming that the decorrelation would become stronger and continue as the traditional markets dump. However, what might also occur is the traditional markets dump on a higher percentage compared to bitcoin and make bitcoin appear like a more stable investment. Bitcoin has been on low volatility when it is not pumping. High volatility on only arrives when there is a pump. This might be our signal that bitcoin is entering a bull market or a trigger.
1007  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: More Regulation Incoming! on: August 16, 2023, 04:14:36 AM
@zasad@. It appears that you were correct. However, I do not think that this is a condition imposed by the American government. Paypal might be following the business model of Tether. On July 31, Tether has reported that they have $72 billion in treasuries all earning yield.

PayPal USD is “100% backed by U.S. dollar deposits, short-term U.S. Treasuries and similar cash equivalents,” according to a Monday press release. Additionally, PayPal’s stablecoin is redeemable 1:1 for U.S. dollars, which means one PayPal USD can be redeemed for one U.S. dollar and vice versa.

1008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: August 16, 2023, 03:23:22 AM
Why are the people in this thread very strict? You are acting like toxic maximalists hehehehehee.

You guys been watching the pre-season at all?  I've been trying to catch some of the beginning of games where we see the starters. Obviously most are playing very little right now.  Justin Fields and my Bears looked pretty interesting this past week. Though the two TDs were screen passes which doesn't really derive confidence out of me, need to see Fields in the pocket and making plays.

BTW I thought they were supposed to whittle down the pre-season to 2 weeks, or am I making that up?

I have not been watching any preseason games. I have been reading some articles and some of the news near the end of last year's regular season about injuries on certain players like Jonathan Taylor and Derrick Henry. I would not put them on top of my cheatsheet hehe.

On Justin Fields, he might become a top 10 quarterback and he might also be ranked higher than Justin Herbert by the end of this season. Do not shake your heads, this will happen.
1009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: August 16, 2023, 02:18:07 AM
@harizen. On Tapales, what legacy? We should be honest, he is a good boxer but he has no potential to be something similar to Pacman or Inoue. I speculate that he might also lose if Casimero was given an opportunity to fight him.

Everything is business for Tapales. He knows Inoue wants to create a boxing legacy and he cannot have this if he cannot get the WBA and IBF championships. Inoue should pay the right amount.

Also, if Tapales will decide not to fight Inoue, I wish it would be Casimero and also wish that Casimero would win hehehehhee. Inoue vs. Casimero would be another fight the boxing fans would consider something like a superfight.

1011  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is the Binance the next to bite the dust or FUD? on: August 16, 2023, 12:43:31 AM
I am laughing it this news development. CZ accuses the SEC of a fishing expedition It might uncle Gary's turn to show everyone 4 fingers and tell CZ and everyone in social media that it is nothing but FUD hehehehehe.

In any case, it appears Binance might not be taken down this year. Next year might be another story, however.

Binance has asked a court for a protective order against the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, accusing the regulator of undertaking a “fishing expedition” with its discovery requests.

In an Aug. 14 court filing, Binance argued while it’s worked in good faith with a June court order, the SEC has served overly broad and unreasonable discovery requests that seek “every single document in [Binance’s] possession related to customer assets.”

“BAM has worked in good faith, but the SEC has been steadfast in its belief that the Consent Order gives it carte blanche to investigate every aspect of BAM’s asset custody practices without any discernible limitation whatsoever,” it stated.

1012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will China takeover as the leader in blockchain and start the new bull market? on: August 15, 2023, 03:54:33 AM
@Abiky. America is presently the leader of web3 and blockchain, however, it might not hold this position very long if uncle Gary and the SEC will continue cracking down on the cryptospace projects and services under their jurisdiction. This will cause investors and developers to invest and go to another jurisdiction where they are encouraged to create and develop new projects.

In China's opening for the cryptospace, it will be Hong Kong first then Shanghai. This news update supports this argument. However, they might do this under whitelisting.

On August 15th, Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu expressed that Web 3.0 is a new direction for the development of the Internet. Hong Kong maintains an open and inclusive attitude towards innovators worldwide engaged in virtual asset businesses and aims to create a conducive environment.

1013  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: BlackRock and MSCI are facing congressional probes over facilitating investments on: August 15, 2023, 02:22:22 AM
@dansus021. It does not have a connection with the ETF. This might only be some politicians in the American congress trying to get some attention on Blackrock and MSCI's business with the Chinese and to make them stop providing investment inflows of American dollars in China.

America and China have not been very friendly recently because the Biden administration supports Ukraine in the war and China under president Xi has been in support of Russia.
1014  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hash Ribbons buy signal last week (13/08) on: August 15, 2023, 01:58:12 AM
It appears bitcoin and the US stock market has reached a stage where they have presently become very loosely correlated. While the natives of the cryptospace are preparing for the bull market, there are investors in the stock market who are preparing for a big dump hehehe.

According to a news update being shared in social media, Michael Burry of the Big Short has 93% of his portfolio in options puts.

BREAKING  :

Michael Burry just shorted the market with $1.6B

Bought $890M of $SPY Puts
Bought $740M of $QQQ Puts

This now makes up 93% of his entire portfolio

Source https://twitter.com/burrytracker/status/1691121657526759424?s=12&t=fx2RmsbaS0qNJTJTdpNu2w

Those puts will be 93% of his portfolio only if he decided to exercise them.

After further analysis from the community, we want to clarify the recent Big Short from Burry's 13F filing

The $1.6B of puts represents how much it would cost to exercise those puts

It DOES NOT represent the actual amount Burry spent on them

@virasog, @JayJuanGee. It was only a joke telling everyone if Sam was not really what he was portrayed to be and he was also exposed to have lied and created one of the biggest scams in the cryptospace, I reckon his own declaration of being a vegan should also be questioned in court. Lying of being vegan is an insult to the vegan community heheheheh.

Also, the cucumber he is eating will be meat if he is sentenced guilty and brought to prison hehehehe.
1016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: August 15, 2023, 12:30:54 AM
@Lanatsa. Pacman is not being a traitor against his own countrymen. In the ambush interview, what Pacman told the interviewer was he wanted to help Inoue and teach him his secrets on how he carried his strength, speed, power and stamina when he has fighting in higher weight divisions. He wants everyone to witness someone greater than him in boxing, I reckon.

I thought Pacman is only willing to help if in case Inoue will move up to other divisions again? Anyways, Pacman once again was caught in another ambush interview during the Crawford-Spence event, the legend mentioned Crawford as the new #1 pound-for-pound fighter in the world replacing Inoue but he also said that Inoue remains his favorite guy. https://www.facebook.com/IFLTV/videos/617315163875941

Meanwhile, according to a local source, Team Tapales is not happy with Naoya Inoue's offers. And just a few days ago, 3 division champion Johnreil Casimero started training again in his town. Casimero looked very heavy at the moment so hopefully, he continues his light training as he might be Inoue's next opponent late this year. It could be that Tapales is not happy with the money presented on the table but it is possible that both sides are bluffing at this early stage of their negotiations. Tapales if he won't face Inoue next might face a mandatory either from the WBA or the IBF. A rematch against former champion Morudjon Akhmadaliev for the WBA mandatory or IBF's mandatory Sam Goodan of Australia might be a high-risk low reward for Tapales should he not come to an agreement with Inoue.

Yes I am quite certain Pacman offered his services if will move up to a heavier weight division again. However, if he was telling the interviewer that he would help in Inoue's training for the fight against Tapales, I would be very skeptical this heheheh. I might put money on Tapales hehhehee.

On Tapales not happy with team Inoue's offer, this is part of negotiations. The team of Tapales knows that Inoue needs the IBF and WBA championships because the Japanese boxer is chasing history.

On Inoue vs. Casimero, if the money is not enough, I reckon Inoue will chase history again and challenge the champions in featherweight.

Negotiations has started with the Tapales group, and as what we have been reading it's not good offer from the inoue team. For sure, if Inoue is chasing greatness, then they should offer good money to Tapales and not disrespect him as a champion.

One Inoue vs Casimero, if Inoue wanted to stay at super bantamweight and if by chance Casimero become somewhat of the mandatory challenger, then for sure Inoue will give up to the pressure of fighting Casimero as this has been one of the most anticipated ever since their bantamweight days.

Hehe I speculate Inoue will make Casimero chase him to featherweight instead of waiting for Casimero unless Inoue cannot say no to the money being offered to him in super bantamweight.

Let us remember that Inoue is chasing his legacy to be the greatest pound for pound boxer in the world. He cannot get this by wasting time in super bantamweight if he unifies the championships. It will be featherweight for him and I wish we witness the great Pacman work with him.

I cannot blame Inoue if he will choose to climb the next weight class again and make another victory run after achieving his goals in this division, even if that means leaving Casimero again because that's not ducking for me as Inoue have his own priorities that needs to come first and Casimero unfortunately, doesn't have anything that will give him any benefit as the latter haven't have anything to offer.

Agreed. However, Casimero might say that it is ducking hehehe. He had his chances to challenge for a championship in bantamweight but he did not make the weight or whatever excuses his team said. His fans should accept that for Naoya Inoue, Casimero is old news. He only consider to fight him if he holds a championship or if he offers his biggest purse.
1017  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: August 14, 2023, 04:36:23 AM

In any case, I would never underestimate Elon. He is black belt in karate!

1018  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: SEC signals appeal to XRP ruling on: August 14, 2023, 04:05:22 AM
@zasad@. If the SEC offers a settlement to avoid a trial by jury then this should be very bullish not only for Ripple because it will imply that Gary Gensler is not willing to fight a battle that they can lose. Ripple's lawyers are ready for all of the SEC's legal maneuverings, I reckon. CZ, other exchange CEOs and DeFi projects' teams should learn from this.

Zucker already said that if there is something to have been agreed, it should come from him and not from Elon.
Elon continues to keep playing around he's going to be the villain between here. He kept getting away with such stunts when he could just say no to this fight. Since he keeps doing it, he really enjoys the attention.

On the other hand, Twitter is still more fun to use than Threads. I think that's more of a reason for him doing this.

He updated it even more:

This pretty much summarizes the attitude difference between musk and zuck. For Zuck this is about mma as a sport. He knows where he stands, he is a beginner and moving up by doing the work. And he knows that this event or sport wouldn't be about him and would like to move a spotlight to actual fighting experts. While Elon focuses on getting the attention and taking the credit for himself. And i can't believe i got to a point i am rooting for Zuck

Was this how it started? It appears Elon wants to go in Zuckerburg's gym and challenge him there, very much similar to those very old kungfu movies hehehehe. This is a screenshot of a text exchange between them. It is not confirmed to be from Elon or Zuck, however. It might be fake.

To have the fight outside of the UFC, Elon can say that he will not support people who slap their wives in public heheheheheee.
