1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The rich is hugely favoured in gamble. on: Today at 08:51:01 PM

His argument is that the rich people gambling do not have to pack a lot of odds as in parlay bet to accumulate a high odd size that will give a satisfying potential win. The rich has the money to risk huge amount to a single game for instance 2 odds staked with $1 million to win $2 millions,  but the poor staking with $100 to win  $2 million has to pick multiple legs to accumulate odds to get such potential win.  It hence decreases the gambling winning chance whilst the rich gambler chance remains increased.
This is gambling, and both have an equal chance to win and lose their bets; there is no guarantee that the $1 million will win the $2million the rich can lose a huge amount of money that can hurt them and so can the poor bettror, I don’t see any situation where the rich is favoured to win huge in a platform that has no certainty of profit.

This is not a venture where what you put in will yield a substantial profit; it’s all about the possibility that could and could not happen, and there is no hint of being favoured when it comes to gambling, whether you are rich or poor.

3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]John Riel Casimero vs Kyonosuke Kameda – October 25, 2025 on: Today at 02:26:20 PM

So what do you think about this fight,  will it be a big challenge for Casimero, or just an easy win?

It's hard to consider this as an easy fight because Casimero has been on a very long layoff, and I have seen him lack discipline while he is out of the ring.

This may not be the same Casimero we’ve seen in the past; he has been very inactive, and he is not in tip-top shape when he is not fighting. I think he's motivated by money and doesn't really want to return to earn title shots.

I feel sorry for Casimero for not having the opportunity to fight Inoue. He was a serious contender back then, but Inoue chose to ignore him, even though this decision led to backlash. I’m interested in whether Casimero still has it, so I’ll mark my calendar for this fight.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: are vices worsen now by social media? on: Today at 12:55:42 PM

are you easily influenced by social media? do you think this is healthy? are other vices like drinking, smoking and etc worsen because of social media?

There is a lot of toxicity in social media; not all that you see is real and honest, many of these are manipulated, made worse by AIs.

I first check the source of the news, which should come from a trusted source for me to believe and be influenced. Social medias have restrictions on advertising drinking and smoking, but there are influencers who post this in their channels, so choose the right influencers to follow.

When it comes to social media, you must have discerning eyes on what and who to follow; there is a lot of deception on social media, all in the name of making money.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the four Es of gambling on: September 18, 2025, 10:49:48 PM
I found research that identified four psychological traits contributing to risk for problem gambling. these are the four Es: escape, esteem, excess and excitement.

It can be attributed to human reactions; humans want an outlet to express themselves, and gambling provides everything they need to express themselves fully.

They can feel excited, have a way to escape, and unload their excess. No other outlet can provide this to humans except gambling, which is why it holds a special attachment for them. If done moderately, gambling can be good, but if excessive, it can harm us.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake aviator hack app is advertised on telegram on: September 18, 2025, 10:15:55 PM
On many occasions, I've been added to unknown groups, which can lead to scam offers. To avoid this, it's best to secure your account and limit access to prevent unwanted messages and group additions without your consent.

Telegram is not a safe place to meet new people because you cannot access the whole profile of the individual, and they can delete and change their profile, so if you do not know or are an acquaintance on other media, do not engage, and always check the groups that you're in if you are not familiar, leave the group immediately.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Naoya Inoue vs Alan Picasso December 27 Undisputed Super-bantamweight Title on: September 18, 2025, 04:24:49 PM
...Picasso is not a real threat to Inoue eventhough he is an undefeated with a good KO ratio,
This is very contradicting, a fighter with clean record and good KO ratio is a real threat in any kind of match. But of course, in any fight, there is favorite and under dog, for majority's favorite, it will be Inoue. But who knows, if the monster will experience a hard fight, and one of them will experience a hard loss on their record.
Sometimes, a fighter may have a good record in boxing, but it always comes down to who he has fought. Obviously, this is another cherry-pick and a walk in the park for Inoue; even the article did not consider Picasso a fighter who could offer good resistance to Inoue.

Again, Inoue ignores the call to move up and face a less popular fighter in Picasso. He is not getting any younger, and he needs to establish his legacy. Moving up to featherweight and conquering it is the best decision he can make.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your funniest gambling story? on: September 18, 2025, 03:17:16 PM
I had $10 deposited on slots, remember this. Then I come at home and I see this 2-3-year-old kid has opened my browser tab and clicks on the space button and is very happy, laughing. I immediately went to the PC and I see that this kid has opened my slots and every time he clicks on the space button, slots are spinned and it makes him very happy but my balance went down to zero  Grin
It was so funny experience that it brings me smile every time I think about this.

Well, at least you made the kid very happy. He seems to be animated with the slots. It would hurt if it's like $100 or $1k, but since it's only $10, you can just let it go and let the kid have a smile on his face.

I've been sharing my funny gambling story with gamblers in a bar, claiming I have discovered a secret to winning at dice using the Martingale system. However, I was challenged and found out it’s a trap, and I was only fooling myself.

Every time I remember it, I can help but laugh at myself, even if it happened many years ago.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From $0.9B to $10.9B: Sports Betting Skyrockets in the U.S. on: September 18, 2025, 01:12:41 PM

What do you guys think, is this real momentum or just temporary hype?

If you look at these numbers, it can be considered a genuine expansion of the gambling industry. There is no hint of hype, as the numbers continue to rise, not just in the US, but also as a global trend.

Based on Industry (2024‑2025 revenue), the gambling industry ranks 10-12 with a revenue of 80 billion. There is a huge possibility that it will move up to the 8th place if the trend continues to grow.

New casinos will emerge despite stiff competition. Countries will continue to relax their regulations to generate more taxes, and new gamblers will emerge every year.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is investing in an AI girlfriend project backed by Brazzers worth it or not? on: September 17, 2025, 11:35:08 PM

We'd see AI girlfriends? well, this japanese guy have already beaten this idea even before by marrying a hologram but looks like his wife is in a vacation now.

Source: The man who married a hologram in Japan can no longer communicate with his virtual wife

Have we stopped cultivating human relationships because of this, or can we just not differentiate between affection and a hobby?
These people do not know what marriage is; they think it’s a simple association.

The modern era’s technology has spawned individuals who can materialise their hidden and forbidden desires. I wouldn’t be surprised if it becomes a trend, where people can marry their belongings and favourite things.

These AI girlfriends are just manifesting what we are lacking, and that is human interaction and relationships

11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: television awards on: September 17, 2025, 11:25:42 PM
emmys 2025 just happened and you might think no one really bets on this but you can actually see this in prediction markets! surprised or not?
Prediction markets are like that, they are based on geography, interest, and profitability, and this is not surprising anymore, they are raking in money for every bet, so they will come out with any market based on interests, and Emmys are one of America's favourite to vote on

Quote
emmys awards television shows and if you like watching series you might have some opinions on the winners. anyway did you or did you not bet on who could have won in the emmys category?
I prefer watching local movies and series, so I have no interest in betting on this category. However, they do have a market even outside the US.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Akhmadaliev -Unified Super Bantamweight Sept.14 on: September 15, 2025, 04:40:02 PM

Again it shows how Inoue has dominated the division, but he’s still staying here. I think it’s time for him to move up.

I did not bother to watch the fight; only die-hard Inoue fans will watch the event. The fight is very predictable; they are not a match.
Inoue is too much for this division; no boxer in this division can match his power. There is no challenge for him, and the boxing community prefers to watch and talk about the Canelo-Crawford match.

The boxing community wants to support boxers who are brave enough to challenge and risk their reputation, but they did not find it in the Inoue vs Akhmadaliev; they found it in the Canelo - Crawford fight. Inoue should move up and take all the challenges from the more worthy opponents in the higher division.
13  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Dapat ba ang Pilipinas ay magkaroon ng Bitcoin Reserve? on: September 15, 2025, 03:22:19 PM

questions.

14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is in position to feel the regret? on: September 15, 2025, 02:05:22 PM
So I am to ask, between me and my friend who is in position to feel this regrets regarded that I won nothing and he made some cash out ?
Is your friend a newbie who does not yet understand that gambling is a game of uncertainty, and things could go either way, you should be the one to feel regret for not winning anything while he has something to take home.

You should either explain this to him or ignore his feelings and be understanding, allowing him to experience what it's like not to win anything due to overextending his luck.

Some gamblers love to blame everything when they take home little or none at all. He has not yet reached a level of maturity to understand that their expectations will not materialize at all times.

15  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Could Reach $200K by Q1 2026 Ano sa tingin nyo posible kaya? on: September 14, 2025, 11:59:27 PM

We are heading to another halving habang tumataas ang demand, so there is no way but up mga bansa at malalaking organization na ang bumibili ng Bicin para makakuha sila ng control sa hinaharap.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Big teams always on the refs’ side? on: September 14, 2025, 11:34:44 PM

Do you think refs really tilt toward the big teams, or are we just whining when things don’t go our way?
Their allegiance and loyalty should be to the organization that provides their salary, and the organization must implement fair play to maintain the loyalty of fans and the community.

I believe every organization has a committee to monitor all the actions of its officials to make sure that they all follow the guidelines of fair play.

For the organization to enjoy the continuous support of all stakeholders, it should make sure that all its officials implement fair play and show no bias to any team.
17  Other / Off-topic / Re: British boxer Ricky Hatton dies age 46 on: September 14, 2025, 04:09:56 PM
After getting excited about the concluded Crawford-Canelo fight, we are greeted by the sudden passing of one of the British boxing greats, Ricky Hatton. It's unexpected because he is training for his December fight. He was one of the most exciting British boxing champions. I have great memories of his fight against Kostya Tszyu, Mayweather, and Pacquiao.

I am looking forward to his December fight until this thing happens. Condolences to his family, he will always be remembered in the list of boxing greats.
18  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Worldcoin - Ang hirap magbook ng appointment lol on: September 14, 2025, 03:45:03 PM

19  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't keep money meant for your business in Bitcoin. on: September 14, 2025, 02:52:25 PM
So don't keep your business money or income in Bitcoin so has to avoid lost, keep your business money in Fiat currency or a stable coin like USDT.

I will not advise on this unless you are comfortable with the market's volatility and accept the potential losses.

Even if the market is doing great, it's not advisable to put everything in Bitcoin or take a loan, as a market shift can happen at any moment, leaving you unprepared. You have to take it to your heart and practice the golden saying: only invest with money that you can afford to lose.

Never put your eggs in one basket is the golden rule that rightly applies when investing in Bitcoin; having some of your assets in fiat can also be a lifesaver.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Must you be noisy about your wins on: September 14, 2025, 01:18:18 PM

Now my question is must the whole world know when you win, when you were quietly staking the odds without winning, chasing losses at times, when the gambling days where very rough did you announce it, then why now that you have a big win people to enjoy, invest your future people must know about it,

The deep reason is that you want to justify your gambling by proving to people that you can win and beat the house. I have friends who love to brag whenever they win or treat us as a show off just to make us believe that you can make money from gambling.

But we all know that it's a lie, because even though they never divulge their losses, we know that they are hiding the truth about their losses.

When it comes to gambling, everybody knows that bragging about your winnings will not change the fact that you cannot win against the house, and your winnings cannot compensate for your total losses.
