2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MITO: A Community-Driven Token at an Early Stage on: August 30, 2025, 09:59:25 PM

It’s early days, but this feels like how Aave or Curve looked before they became big. If you’re curious, you can follow MITO on platforms like BingX and watch it grow in real time.

What do you think about this token potential on a long term?
Next time, if you’re going to post about a particular token, especially if it's something unheard of or unpopular, provide a link where we can verify the information you provided so we can confirm its accuracy.
I’m not sure if the Mito token you are referring to is the Mito token from Malaysia; it's very much different from what you describe.
Add the Coingecko link or domain name if you are unable to post the link.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Money is power and it open doors for you if you are financially discipline on: August 30, 2025, 09:12:06 PM
Money is power and for you to get that power, you need to invest, save money. You don't wake up one day and get that power, it takes a lot of financial discipline to achieve that.so I suggest you save up and buy some bitcoins for the rainy days.
Bitcoin is one thing that will not lose value rather it appreciate in value. Just invest because at old age you will not have the strength to start doing all that you were doing when young.

When you have money, everybody listens, but you have to acquire it in the right way, not through corrupt means, whether you're working in a government or engaging in illicit activities.
If you want power from money, a reputation should be attached to it. It’s better to be respected because you are a reputable person with a lot of money.
Money is power if it's working for you, and if you are not working for it, you will end up a slave to money. If you are just working for money, be a good investor and entrepreneur, and you will make money work for you.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Illusion of control on: August 30, 2025, 08:31:50 PM
What really makes a gambler lose? Is it greed? Well it is the illusion of control. Illusion of control leads to continued gambling and the more a gambler plays the more the casinos win, right? As a gambler, you should be able to identify these illusions so you can at least get a hold of yourself.

Losing in gambling is inevitable, whether you have control over how you gamble or not. It's just a fact, and understanding this fact will lead you to realize that we should not treat it as a source of income and only lay down what we can afford to lose.

Gamblers often forget these facts when they experience a winning streak; they think it’s possible or that there is a way to beat the house. However, as they explore these options, they often end up reaffirming their initial belief that they cannot beat the house.
5  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Kenye West token, YZY another scam token on: August 30, 2025, 02:21:30 PM

More than 51800 traders lost while they invested on this token among the 70200 people that invested on the token. Among the people that lost money, 3 traders lost over $1 million.
They have taken the risks, hoping to get the opportunity to make their investment 100 times their initial investment. Unfortunately, this kind of project is very unusual; you never know when the developers or whales dump their shares. If you do not know how to play this game, you will get burned.
Investing in this kind of token is akin to gambling, but the key difference is that you lose your investment while you are unaware or asleep.

Quote
The token first increase 1400% before falling 80% according to the news. I am not tracking the token and I will not. So maybe it has fallen more.
There's no use tracking this token; what happened to those celebrity token-based ones in the past will likely happen here; there's no difference.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fundora - Thurman WBC Super Welterweight Championship October 25, 2025 on: August 30, 2025, 01:08:01 PM
I’m rooting hard for Thurman here. He’s been counted out before, but if there’s one fight to bring him back, this is it.

Thurman can be considered to be the most rested boxer in history. He has months and years of gaps in many of his fights, but he can come out the winner.

Fundora, fresh from a brutally punishing fight with Tszyu, faces a different battle, but we cannot count on Thurman; he has consistently proven himself after coming from a long rest.

Of course, if Thurman wins this match, there's going to be a Pacquiao rematch. I consider Thurman the underdog in this fight, not because of his long rest, but more on Fundora's skills, height, and youth advantages.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Make Yourself As An Example Or Ashame To Expose Yourself on: August 30, 2025, 12:31:50 PM
I have no problem opening up if you intend to save these people from what you've experienced, so it's not a sign of weakness. The best and strongest gamblers are those who learned from their past mistakes, mended their ways, and can give advice and offer assistance to new gamblers so they will not experience the worst in gambling like what you've experienced.
If you're honest with yourself, people will easily trust you and treat you as a real person.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you flex on your pals when you are correct on: August 29, 2025, 10:15:47 PM

I don’t usually leave a game when I see a good cash out but I trusted my guts and won. Have you had experience where you choose your opinion over logic advice from friends and won or lost let’s hear it.

When you're playing the game for a long time, you will develop intuition. It's actually your subconscious mind at work; it's beyond logic, something that logic cannot fully explain.

We humans have this, and when we are accumulating a lot of information, our subconscious, most of the time, works for us to give us the best possible result.

It has happened to me many times, so I sometimes check my gut feeling apart from my analysis and weigh the two; I have had success with both.
9  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Saan tayo papunta.. on: August 29, 2025, 09:23:57 PM
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3 people who unexpectedly became crypto millionaires on: August 29, 2025, 08:52:28 PM

These are touching stories of some crypto hodlers who invested but either forgot it or kept it away from themselves and later it become a success story for them. I thought I should share this.

Some times ago too, I forgot I left an amount less than $10 in a wallet and when I stumbled on the wallet, the money had risen to about $100.

So how lucky have you been in your crypto investment?

There's always a temptation to sell whenever you double or triple your investment, as the market changes rapidly and is very unpredictable. Therefore, forgetting your assets can be a good trait. It happened to me twice that I wished I remembered my coins after a few years, and not after a few months.
I could have sold it a thousand times at a profit instead of triple its value.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Gambling a big opportunity or a big trap? on: August 29, 2025, 08:30:41 PM

The big question for me now is, do we consider bitcoin gambling sites a big opportunity for the people or a big trap that will leave many young people addicted and financially broke?

I consider it a trap; it rarely becomes an opportunity. You have to be extremely lucky to win a considerable amount of money and convert it into an opportunity; a compliant and licensed casino will not promote its platform as an opportunity, but rather as an entertainment platform based on its terms and license.
So a gambler is deceiving himself if he thinks that the casino he is playing will allow him to change his life.
12  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Ang sakit! P129M winnings denied on: August 29, 2025, 03:00:45 PM

13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: AI will not give you the opportunity to receive passive income. on: August 29, 2025, 02:27:30 PM
The most that AI can provide in its output is to assist us in compiling data and probability, but it cannot guarantee an exact result; even humans have a hard time coming up with an accurate result.
Passive income is almost impossible if you're a bettor; humans have not succeeded in making a passive income from gambling, what more with AIs that humans create.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers with addiction and deferred life syndrome on: August 29, 2025, 12:21:50 PM
When I read an article about a gambler with addiction, I noticed that he often mentioned that when he started to accumulate debts among friends, and loans from banks, he began to eat worse, stopped buying new clothes. He began to live in the Syndrome of Deferred Life.
That's depression associated with gamblers who lose control and rake in massive losses; these losses haunt them, and unless they take a break from gambling, they will continue to live in that syndrome. To cure this, they need intervention from their family and rehabilitation at a facility with the help of a professional.

Quote
Do you think problem gamblers can save on themselves to start living in the "bright future" they hope for after a big win at the casino?
The same goes for problem bettors and sports betting.
Absolutely not; they will continue to incur losses as long as they continue to gamble, creating a vicious cycle. Winning cannot cure this; only intervention can.

16  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What factors contribute to varying scam rates across different countries? on: August 28, 2025, 10:46:40 PM

And Here is the question what due you guys think concerning the countries with high rates of scam activities?  Can this three factors be the reason for the high rates of scam activities in those countries:
* Is it that the government of those countries have failed to provide enough jobs for their citizens making them unemployed which have led them into doing frauds in other to make a living for themselves.
Fraudsters and scammers are not limited to one sector or category in a country; they can be found in high society, often operating under a syndicate. We have it in rich countries like America, Japan, and Italy.

Quote
* or the citizens of those countries, especially the young ones are just lazy to work which have made them to see scam as the easiest job.
It's the character and environment of the individual that they choose to live a life of a fraudster. No one is born a lazy person and becomes a fraudster; their character is shaped by the people around them, who influence how they perceive things and the world.

Quote
* or the parents are to be blamed because of their in ability to provide for their children which have led them into doing fraud.
It’s possible, but even if the parents cannot provide, he can still raise responsible children. I have seen many poor families raising responsible children who go on to become successful in life and make meaningful contributions to society.
17  Other / Meta / Re: Board proposal: Gambling (Altcoins) on: August 28, 2025, 10:25:38 PM

Perhaps it would make sense to create a dedicated section called Gambling (Altcoins) inside the “Alternate Cryptocurrencies” forum?
It’s seldom that a casino launches here that only accepts altcoins; the majority are Bitcoin-related casinos, and we can count on our fingers the altcoin-related casinos.
Creating a dedicated board for gambling specific to altcoins will only promote altcoins, when this is a Bitcoin discussion dedicated forum.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: El Salvador's bitcoin on: August 28, 2025, 09:21:42 PM
The odds are pretty interesting. Now Bukele has found out about this and seems to be hinting on social media. But do you genuinely believe El Salvador can magically get to a billion worth of bitcoin? They currently have over $700 Million. They would only need $300 million more. To me it seems a lot.
If they manage to reach $700 million, which is already a substantial amount, then they can also break into the $1 billion mark. They are motivated and do not consider the risks inherent in the cryptocurrency market.

$1 billion is a significant achievement; if they still have the funds, they will likely reach their goal and serve as an example to other countries that want Bitcoin to be part of their reserves. They can double the amount they stake if the market turns to their favour.
19  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟 ZAPOSHI BETS - The Future of Bitcoin Betting is Here! ⚡ on: August 28, 2025, 04:26:07 PM

By the way, my VPS provider is currently suffering DDoS attacks, so the page may be inaccessible at times. The site’s security is intact, it’s just the access that is being affected by these attacks.
It has been over 24 hours, and the site remains inaccessible. I wonder why a newly launched site can be a target of this attack. There are other, bigger casinos? Is it profitable for hackers to attack newly launched casinos?

OP should lock this thread and provide an update before locking the thread. This is a bad start. I have never encountered a new casino getting attacked like this. I hope you can fix it so we can check the platform and its potential.

Sen. @bamaquino
is calling for the national budget to be recorded on blockchain where every peso spent is traceable and every project has a digital receipt.

In a country where ghost projects and missing funds make headlines, this could mean real accountability.
