601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Passionate gambler keeps the gambling boards rolling even after retirements on: December 12, 2023, 01:56:38 PM
Do you still play the game to make profits? Or you plays for fun?

Sometimes for profit but most of the time for fun.

........................ I learnt he usually has about $5K for this annual gaming festive. It is also interesting to know that even colleagues residing afar comes around to partake on the activity including those whose net worth is beyond the mentioned staked (rewards) are also pertakers because the fun of it seems exceptional.
All these are literally what passion for gambling could be but yeah, this said gambling festive organiser happens to be a retired gambler.

He just missed the fun associated with gambling so he's doing this, it's hard to remain retired from gambling without missing the fun when you say you are retired from gambling, you have experienced everything in gambling, the rewards, the losses, and the fun and so he is being generous to make others feel how to play in a fun way, the checker is a good choice for competition because it's not a luck-based game it involves skills experience.
Maybe in the future, when I retire from gambling I will have something like this for friends just to take out the boredom of retirement.
602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rodriguez Vs Edwards IBF and IBO WORLD FLYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP DEC 16 2023 on: December 12, 2023, 01:20:25 PM
This fight is not getting the attention it rightly deserves both fighters are champions both are undefeated and both have their style of fighting its worth watching this fight maybe because the division used to lord it over by Inoue, some of the fighters like Edwards and Rodriguez are shut out and this is their time to shine.
The flyweight division is not a very interesting division for many boxing fans if not for Inoue, it would not get a lot of attention, but still when two undefeated fighters with good boxing skills it deserves our support.
603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Do you wrap up your gambling session? on: December 11, 2023, 03:04:12 PM
Have you wrapped up every session you mean you allocate specific hours on your session and to hit the hour where you should log off you made a wrap-up of your session even though you still have a huge bankroll like you spend 30 minutes wrapping up your bets.
I usually spend 20 minutes going down to my excitement level so when I log out I feel more relaxed

How about you do you wrap up your sessions and how many minutes or hours and do you think it's ok to do a wrap-up?

604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: With gambling, it's probably easier to quit cold turkey on: December 11, 2023, 02:20:37 PM

Quitting cold turkey, contemplating on your mistakes and talking about it with a group and some experts sounds like the best path. What are your thoughts? Could a problem gambler quit slowly and expect realistic improvements?
As long as he keeps realizing that he wants to change and want to quit gambling he will slowly improve and there will come a time when he will decide to ask for help from the professionals, this is the first step before they finally realize that they needed a big step to change, slowly thinking to change is the start of realization that he will have to decide in the future that he wants to change and it will eventually if he keeps holding on to that thought.

It's hard to take gambling from a gambler who has no realization yet and realization will not just come suddenly it is a slow process, when they lose a big amount the realization will come that some change is needed and if they keep losing the realization will become huge and snowball and that's where he will ask for help and will improve his situation, healing, and cure is always a slow process and it's effective doing this way.

605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A hero or a fool? on: December 11, 2023, 01:11:21 PM
I was reading some comments on line today and a story caught my attention, and I want to know how possible this is.

A guy claimed he won $5000 on a poker machine and that's where his addiction began, and when it get to the point that he lost his rent money to gambling he decide to take matters in his one way.

He proceeded by going to gaming commission and had his name banned by himself, ( Someone please tell me how this is possible?) never seen such in my country before. he claimed he still go back to casinos at times and he knew he can't ever win big again, because his name was flagged in the system, and if he win big they won't pay him.

He said he was limited to winning $200, that anymore than this he would have to sign his name and be subject to prosecution for trespassing. He claimed his move took his joy out from gambling real fast, and now he haven't been near a casino in over 10 years.

What do you think? This is an insanely move on oneself to stop addiction, something done right? Would you do the same if such is possible in your country?

I think this is illegal, casinos are obliged to pay winners the amount they won, and you cannot strike a deal with a casino that limits your winning to $200 it is a violation of their terms and people will give them negative feedback for trying to take advantage of the winner they can be charge in court and get their license rebuke, its enough that they ban the player in their vicinity based on the person request.

But never declined his winning, here in our country since the casino is being run by our government, they have a rehabilitation program for chronic gamblers, the casino management should refer the guy to a professional and never do a special deal like not allowing to win huge money.
606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The shorter the time you spend the better on: December 11, 2023, 12:09:13 PM
Shorting your play time in gambling is the best strategy in gambling, apart from knowing how to manage your bankroll, don't spend too much time on a casino game, the longer the time you spent the more you lose, this is the truth that many gamblers won't accept at first until they realize it later.

Bankroll and time management should be managed accordingly, even if you promised yourself that you are going to play for only one hour the temptation to continue will always be there when there are funds to use in your bankroll, you cannot play responsibly without managing both effectively so when you're playing be sure the time you allocate is commensurate with your bankroll with at least additional hour to wind up your session

Quote
For them it's about your addiction, and that's what brings in more money, and I am here to announce to you that time fixation is also a good way in gambling, spending 20 minutes in casino a day is better than someone who spend 1 hour.
I don't think so there are players who spend a short period but still lose a lot of money and there are players who spend hours but he is ok and enjoying it, it's more on the mindset of the player, there are no specific hours of playing but there are minimum and maximum hours based on the bankroll and how the gambler can wind up himself before he calls it a day in a casino.

607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Are you Spending more or less money on Casino this Holiday season on: December 11, 2023, 09:44:14 AM
The end of the month every year is what everybody is waiting for throughout the year, because this is the time you get your Christmas bonus and other bonuses like 13th month pay from other countries, because of the huge money coming in this holiday.

Are you spending more or less on casinos this holiday season?

Why add more? this is the only time of the year that you have additional funds why not enjoy playing more time with more funds if you get lucky you're holiday season will be merrier and prosperous.

Why spend less? This is the time of the year that there's a lot of spending and you have to buy a lot of gifts for your loved ones so I don't want to spend more on gambling I don't want to face this holiday losing money.

Tell us your opinion.

608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers should not believe in first game win trap on: December 11, 2023, 05:24:28 AM
I noticed there has been some topics about how first time winning is dangerous. What I am saying is someone that has not gamble before, to gamble and win. That it is dangerous. Yes it may be dangerous because the person may have the exciting mind to gamble more  and lose. But that is not the whole true story.
Because there are a lot of stories like that and coming from my fellow gamblers' stories they are tempted to bring more money and explore gambling as a means to make money when they experience winning on their first tries and we have so many threads about new gamblers falling into believing that they can make money from gambling because of their beginners' luck this is a fact it may not be true to other people but the fact remains that so many people fall into this trap that is why we have the saying beginners' curse in gambling

Quote
If not talking about the first time loss gamblers that later become addicted, what you are saying is not completely true. If we can do a survey of gamblers that won or lost in their first game, the people that will chose won can not be 100%. They might not be 70%. It may be 50%. Some people will gamble for the first time and lose and continue to gamble. The main reason is because they think gambling is a way money can be made. Unless they change their the way they think about gambling, that gambling is is not a money making means, first time win or loss is not necessarily the cause of their addiction.
But those who on their first tries experienced that beginners have a stronger motivation and belief that they can make money from gambling than those who suffered a series of losses from their first tries they are the ones who started to spend more time more money and explore ways to continue what they experienced on their first tries, you know in gambling you are motivated by your results and if you see good results in your first tries you start to believe that its possible to make money in gambling so you devise or explore methods so you can continue winning.
609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who should quit, and why? on: December 10, 2023, 01:45:05 PM
I don't recommend that both of them engage in gambling what will happen to their family if they both become addicted, if both can manage their gambling activities I recommend that the wife give way to his husband, the husband needs recreation after a hard days' work in the office or they can alternately play like the husband plays on weekdays and the wife plays on the weekends.

The most important thing is their finances and the time they are spending with their family will suffer, gambling is for entertainment and it should not have a bad effect on the finances and relationships with each other.
610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney (9th of December) on: December 10, 2023, 05:56:22 AM
This is way too easy for Haney, I thought it was going to be a 50/50 fight, but Haney made it like another day in the office, it is a routine fight, nothing special he just does the things that people used to see him doing, but unfortunately Prograis did not do his assignment it is expected that he will do an adjustment and but he just stands there waiting to counter but Haney was just too fast and too accurate, both fighters have been through a lot of great fights but Haney made Prograis an amateur.

So what's next for Haney now, Shakur or Ryan Garcia?

I'm seeing the result like what we've seen today if he meets any one of these guys because they are not spectacular to counter Haney's move, I like to see Haney against Tank, that's the fight that will look even.
611  Other / Archival / Re: BTCWILD.NET CASINO | 70% OF PROFITS TO CHARITY | NO KYC on: December 09, 2023, 11:07:14 PM
Hello, thank you for the reply.
We will sign a message from a BTC address to show that funds are going to a charity.
We will donate to "thegivingblock" due to it being the most widely used.

You have to be transparent on it since you make a big headline of that charity work, I don't know but I think you're the only one that I know that plans to donate a part of their profits to charity and it is not just a part it's over half of the profit, although this is so good and being generous but will this have an effect on the operation and how long can you keep it why 70% why not 50% so you can still keep up with the operation and can do expansion coming from the profit.

You have to balance everything since you're just starting, and of course, we'll have to check and monitor how you conduct your business we're supporting you as long as you maintain your reputation not because of your charity work.
612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: First winning can be a trap on: December 09, 2023, 03:23:59 PM
The first attempt of gambling by anyone that the result comes out to be a win can be a trap if one is not careful and conscious. Have noticed people who plays gambling on their first attempt and win thinks gambling is very easy because they were lucky to have a win in the first attempt,  whenever it happens like this with beginners they still want to play  more and as they continue it is just a simple strategy to lose all they won in their first attempt,  it is important new gamblers shouldn't tricked to play more expecting to continue to have more wins.

There's a curse and a trap on beginner's luck if you're not ready or prepared for what's coming, you may think that you have a golden touch in gambling or you are lucky in gambling I have seen people losing a lot of money before they realize that you cannot beat the house and its a trap to think that you can make money from gambling.
Whenever I teach someone to gamble I always remind them that if they win on the first and second try they should not think that they have a golden touch in gambling, thinking that way will lead to misery.
It's ok to win on your first try but taking these seriously will lead you to big troubles you never what lies ahead and when will the house take over and recover your winnings.
613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 09, 2023, 02:21:24 PM

So if Bivol gets Canelo's 2nd fight with PBC I wonder if Benavidez will ever get his shot at the real title. If Canelo somehow beats Bivol in the rematch, I expect him to take Crawford as his last fight of the contract and go back to Matchroom.

I think it's only fair that there should be a trilogy for their fight. Bivol could have declined a rematch with Canelo after beating him, but he agreed to it. Therefore, if Canelo is a true warrior, he should give Bivol a chance to determine the better fighter between them. This can only be settled through another rematch.

Canelo is now a cherry picker he claims to be the king so he gets to decide who he will fight, except for Bivol all the fights he has after Bivol are cherry picked fights Charlo, Ryder and Golovkin Bivol and Benavidez is not in his list he wants to enjoy his reign while making a lot of money.
He wants the easy way to his legacy, I will not be surprised if he retires without fighting Bivol or Benavidez.

I'd like to believe that Canelo is fading because he picks his opponent and doesn't want to face fighters like Bivol, Benavidez is going to be a very big challenge for him but unlike Pacquiao, he is ducking fighters who can beat him.

614  Economy / Economics / Re: 'Doomsday glacier,' is holding on 'by its fingernails,' scientists say on: December 09, 2023, 01:18:22 PM
The process of climate change on our planet has started and has become almost irreversible. It will take a lot of effort from almost all countries to correct the situation. And since all countries are unlikely to agree on joint actions even under the threat of major disasters, the ongoing process will only accelerate, and therefore the melting of glaciers is inevitable. Maps are already being published about which regions and in which countries flooding will occur. Along with this, the climate will change very sharply, since the direction of currents, winds, warm and cold atmospheric fronts will change and often simply cannot be predicted.
My country is one of the countries that will likely suffer from this doomsday glacier, countries will only take action when this happens, powerful countries who could make an impact and create solutions for this catastrophe are busy waging their own wars or preparing for wars, the scenario is not good in the next ten years and it may be too late to take action, the United Nations or green organizations should take action now.
Now is the best time to take action, when this glacier doomsday happens we will have no time to wage war for other countries many nations will have to fight this Doomsday glacier or they will perish.
615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney (9th of December) on: December 09, 2023, 11:24:13 AM

I would choose to see a brutal KO but not betting on it. You know, Haney is just too smart and that's the reason why lots of fans are hating him due to his style, like Shakur, they don't bring the excitement that is expecting for a boxing fight. Haney being the heavy favorite, I think Prograis felt disrespected since he's the champion, that's why he wanted to knockout Haney to prove to the people that he owns the throne.

I hope he can, he is highly motivated based on what we saw on their face off he really hates Haney, but that's what Haney wants you to feel, to hate him so he can use that hate against you, we have seen that happened on many of his matches, especially on Kambosos, he just waited for Kambosos to pour so he can counter.
We have a saying style makes a fight, even though Haney is the challenger I don't think will bring the fight to Prograis, only if he sees that he can take Prograis fight.

For Prograis to win he should dominate the early rounds or knock him out because Haney is good at accumulating points, especially in the latter or championship rounds, he should take the fight to Haney and try to take away Haney's game of hit and run.

For Haney to win, he will just wait for Prograis to make mistakes and pile up a lot of points Haney may be a boring fighter but his style is guaranteed to win the fight
616  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you regret also for ever knowing about gambling? on: December 09, 2023, 10:22:13 AM
Yeah you read the question correctly.

So I was wondering if some folks here too feel the same way or it was just a matter of grudge and hatred for the particular fellow to stir up such arguement.

In life, we can learn a lot of things but we decide, what to include in our lives, if you don't want gambling in your life then you decide that you don't want it and not blame people who introduce you to gambling.

If you're living in a country where gambling is legal, you will eventually learn about gambling it could be by yourself or somebody else and when you're losing a lot it's not right to blame people who introduced you to gambling, but what if you won a big amount will you give a big portion to people who introduce you to gambling, will you do that every time you win or lose.

Once you are playing it's your decision you should be the one responsible for all your actions, other people have nothing to do with your decision, be mature and man enough to your decision when it comes to gambling.

It is because you modeled your platform in a Ponzi scheme if you are all honest then you will make a long-term goal for your platform and not just do it on Telegram, there's always a red flag when a platform is Telegram based,  and the 30% guaranteed profit is what exposed you as a Ponzi scheme, I have this feeling that you set up this platform because you want to have a prosperous holidays based on your this post I quoted, you should be ashamed of yourself for a scam attempt so you will just have money for the holidays.
You just proved that there are more scammers when the holiday season began
618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling for newbies on: December 08, 2023, 01:47:01 PM
Hello everyone, as you can see I'm new here, I'm looking for recommendations for a game to bet some money that I don't mind losing, I would like recommendations and if possible a recommendation for somewhere that teaches how to play. Thank you very much. Grin
I recommend my earlier favorite Mine and Crash games majority of casinos have in their dashboard, you just have to pick the right casino to play if you want tutorials on how these two games are being played you check these on YouTube, just be sure that you are probably guided and you have a strong mindset so as not to fall to addiction, newbies are prone to addiction because of the excitement and most of the time the money that they've won earlier.

I can recommend Stake.com not because I'm promoting it but more of the simplicity of their interface, support is great and of course, they have a very good reputation, everything you're looking for in a casino is here.
619  Economy / Reputation / Re: After Sinbad, which mixer is Next To Be Shutdown? on: December 08, 2023, 01:06:23 PM
As far as I know, there is no mixer targeted on individual level. Usually a good indicator of which mixer is going to be shutdown next, is to read articles. If there is an article about particular mixer, i.e. money was laundered through X mixer, then X mixer will be the next to be shutdown. There were articles about Chipmixer and it got shutdown, then there were articles about Sinbad and it got shutdown too. At the moment, Financial Crimes Enforcement Network tries to label bitcoin mixers as a primary money laundering concern, i.e. it will be absolutely illegal for any crypto mixer to exist and it will also be illegal to mix your coins.

Mark my words, we will see an article about particular bitcoin mixer and that mixer will be the next to be shutdown! At the moment there are safe (I know it's still bold to say).

I agree there will be a leak on the news before the takedown, all mixers right now are suspects until the money launderers choose them to be their next mixing sites, and unless the mixer has parameters to prevent hackers and money launderers from using their platforms, the mixers will continue to exist because there is a market for their service they just have to set up parameters to protect their platforms from money launderers, I don't know how are they going to do that, but they should come out with an idea to avoid being targeted by the authorities.
Bitcoin mixing is not illegal or not yet but it's one of the businesses that is high risk, only the future will tell if they will continue to exist, maybe when there is no more high-profile hacking or scamming.
620  Economy / Services / Re: ShitCoin Marketing on: December 08, 2023, 12:47:30 AM
This is now the state of altcoin, shitcoin take the spotlight because there's hardly a good coin to promote and the investors are promoters are hungry for more coins to invest in and promote, so there's no difference if you're promoting a good coin or a shitcoin as long as you satisfy the needs of the market.
So we have trending coins, NFT, and meme coins that bring nothing to the community.

But the community is getting used to it, they can make money from these shitcoins, and the altcoins era will not die because shitcoins are getting a lot of support,
I pity new investors because they are the willing victims of these shitcoin and OP is partly to blame for this.
