621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have any one had experiences with banned bank/providers because of gambling? on: December 19, 2023, 04:05:27 PM
I find this very frustrating when i see people complain about their funding bank/provider account being banned because of gambling related activities. My younger just called me and told me his raven account was banned and he has been using it to deposit dollars in his gambling platform and also paying for subscriptions online. I want to get this clear.

Is it because of the gambling activities that got his account banned or it is because of the legitimacy of the funds that raven are more concerned about?

Is there any gambling platform that needs to be avoided?

Since i woke up we've been trying to contact their support for complaint and no response yet. Is there anyone with similar experience?
The best answer should come from the bank provider and ask them specifically what's the caused of the ban could be one of the reasons you mentioned or could be both, they should state right away when they stated gambling related activities because the subject is broad liked you mentioned.
Here in our country some banks are strict to linking your account on gambling platform but everything is clearly stated on their terms and if a bank allowed transaction to gambling platform they usually mentioned that the platform should be compliant I only used bank transfer once but I prefer Cryptocurrency deposit more convenience and more private, so I advice you to urge your younger brother to use Cryptocurrency.
622  Other / Meta / Re: Is really referral or affiliate are not allowed in Forum ? on: December 19, 2023, 03:24:06 PM
Referral links that allow you to track the clicks for traffic evaluation are allowed but referral links where you can make money from the clicks from your links are not allowed, you can post your referral link in your signature but never in the announcement and post, because if the forum allowed it, the forum will become spam fest and a get paid to sites like the GPT forums I stumbled where every post are full of referral links.
Bitcointalk is generally a Bitcoin discussion forum and they just added niches for Bitcoin investors for awareness.

That looks good, what's your role on this platform are you part of the team or you're representing them here in Bitcointalk, good to know that they already have a Curacao License https://verification.curacao-egaming.com/validateview.aspx?domain=joya.casino.
Checking some of the reviews online there are some negative reviews but the team is addressing these issues
https://www.trustpilot.com/review/joya.casino

Here are some reviews coming from review sites so far they are doing good

Do the team have a plan to launch a signature campaign here to be more competitive and to get more attention coming from active gamblers
624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has gambling ever whispered you with different strategic prediction measures? on: December 19, 2023, 10:59:03 AM
Since gambling is most based on luck, who else has ever wanted to set your eyes close while you hits the slot or taking your predictions with the believe that.... "Your eye sight has failed you in number of times at when believing that taking your time and plays according to your heart desired based on sights satisfactories was to be the best for you"
Then probably sometimes you want to try a new trick by closing your eyes while picking your predictions or hitting the slots.

I haven't tried that, it's like a mini mini mini mo thing, I prefer to let my eyes open when picking a number or hitting a slot and just hope that luck will be on my side, there's no difference if you open or close your eyes, if you're luck you're going to be lucky I like to be attentive and see everything when things unfold right before my eyes.
I have seen some people doing this they are mostly praying or wishing based on how they move their lips, or imagine that they are going to hit the jackpot, people have different ways to attract luck, and how they play the game, if it's something that will drive you to have fun then just do it.
625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Local Base Or International Based Online Casino on: December 18, 2023, 04:25:56 PM
Familiar face Big Boy Cheng! One of my favorite gambling streamer and collector on PH. I’m not sure if this game will be popular like e-sabong because the game is just simple and boring. The only reason why e-sabong become popular is because sabong is already popular in physical games while people that usually play sabong doesn’t have chance to play due to pandemic restrictions.

Ang is probably just using the popularity of e-sabong to his new game since both game is not even related to each other.

Atong Ang is a gambling genius he knows how gamblers think and what they need, with all the resources that his organization and affiliate have he will make sure that it will be a huge success, why? Color game is so popular in every fiesta that every color game table has a lot of bettors now that he is creating a huge innovation in this popular fiesta game everyone can relate to this game, it doesn't need an introduction.
Atong Ang is bringing the simplest betting game to the masses but this time it's online and accessible through mobile applications and with physical betting so let's see how it goes, let's see if this will become the next biggest local online game after online cockfighting.
626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Local Base Or International Based Online Casino on: December 18, 2023, 03:14:30 PM
Two years ago e-sabong or online cock fighting has become so popular in our country that many people who do not play online learned how to play online because of this game after our government shut down this online betting a new local online betting game will soon launch that is expected to make millions of profits from the same creator of online cockfighting and this is called Apple white or Apple Red a spin-off from the popular color game or slots

Quote
The rules are simple: participants select either a red or white apple, and the outcome is determined by three spinning wheels. A P100 bet can result in a P280 win if all three spinners land on the same color.

Similar to E-Sabong, players are faced with only two choices, and matches unfold every five minutes, running continuously for 24 hours, with a brief one-hour break. However, in contrast to E-Sabong, every match concludes with a clear winner, with no draws, and importantly, no fighting cocks are harmed

From cockfights to cocktails

This local online game will soon become so popular that local gamblers who play on international online casinos will prefer to play here because it is easy to fund the app and there are physical betting stations too like karaoke bars and gaming hubs.

Do you have similar games in your country and if there are popular local online games what will you prefer local or international-based

627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rodriguez Vs Edwards IBF and IBO WORLD FLYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP DEC 16 2023 on: December 18, 2023, 01:57:29 PM
It's just unfortunate that fights like this in the lower weight categories are not generating enough attention this is the exact weight division where the great Pacquiao and up-and-coming great Inoue started and this is also the division where one of the greatest Mexican fighters reigns  Ricardo "El Finito" López, great prospects in the Bantamweight and Superwelterweight started here Bam Rodriguez should stay in the division or if Edwards ask for a rematch he should go for it after Inoue he is the next big star in the lower weight division.
628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I'm after a gambling site for ufc betting that accepts bitcoin on: December 18, 2023, 09:51:11 AM
I am looking for ufc betting sites that:
- accepts bitcoin
- preferably no KYC
- accepts vpn
- has props
- doesn't steal your money

Do they block if you win too much?

Except for the no KYC part everything you're looking for is on Stake.com, KYC is a compliant gambling platform so if something in your act is questionable you will have to do a KYC, but doing so is only to protect your account and the platform that you are adhering to their terms, that you are not a minor, that you are not doing money laundering and that you are not cheating and you do not have that many accounts to abuse the system from their bonuses and giveaways.

There could be a casino that has all the features that you're looking but if they do not have the kind of reputation and protection that Stake.com has and provides I don't think its worth playing in that casino.
Reputation is everything when playing in online casinos
629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Type of gambling and Intelligence on: December 17, 2023, 10:22:37 PM
Does the type of game you play at a casino or sports you bet on show an individual's level of intelligence or how smart a person is?
Blackjack, Poker, slots, roulette, baccarat, sports betting, horse racing, betting on sociopolitical events, keno, etc.

I don't think many will agree with your thread, intelligence has nothing to do with your choice of game, and no study on this will validate your opinion, It is every player's preference whether you're a genius or less intelligent you can pick any game you want, no games were created for specific intelligence, the casino will not discriminate their players by classifying their games.
But it has something to do with the player's level of interest some players want a game where they can do analysis, and some players prefer luck-based games and try their luck.
I like sports betting especially boxing because I love watching and analyzing boxers but that does not mean I am better than my engineer friend who prefers just to play dice without much analyzing involved.
630  Economy / Gambling / Re: Banned from RollBit for Italian users on: December 17, 2023, 09:55:35 PM
Hello everyone,
I've been betting on Rollbit for about two months, just yesterday a friend of mine was banned after completing KYC and the reason they gave him was that he was an Italian user.
Without completing the KYC, is it possible to operate on Rollbit also for Italian users?
I ask for help because I don't want to find myself with blocked funds just for being Italian

No don't continue playing there even if you do not complete their KYC because one way or another they will ask you for KYC sooner or later it's better to take action now or regret it later when you win a big amount of money and you can't withdraw it, they have a reason now not to grant your withdrawal because right now you're violating their terms by playing in their platform.
Next time always check the terms of service before playing in a casino, you'll get trapped if you choose to ignore the terms of service, casinos should not let people from joining their platform but some casinos are not blocking these people creating a trap for people who do not read their terms.
631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think that this is aperfect analogy of how gambling addiction starts? on: December 17, 2023, 03:53:08 PM
Read this transcript of Andreas Analogy of how gambling addiction kicks off and tell me if you think he is right or not. Basically, your opinion.

He is right in many of his opinions about gambling you treat gambling as fun and you're paying for it but eventually, you are lured to thinking that you can make money the word Andreas attaches to this is confirmation bias, or cognitive bias when a player continues to because of luck or from their effort the dopamine is building up which turn to gambling addiction.

So the activity that you treat to be just fun because of the triggering of dopamine turns you into a gambling addict you may not be aware of it because the dopamine keeps you logging in to play, you may think that you paying to have fun and you think its ok but those around you think you are not.

You start to lose money, you start to lose time, and your relationship suffers because of your cognitive bias that it is all just for fun when in reality you are addicted.
The cure to this is always opening up to your loved ones so they become your important party to gauge if you are still good or already having it too much.

People who are using private notes should bookmark the right site and check the resulted notes to see of any changes,

633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have a "gambling problem" which you can sometimes control for years? on: December 17, 2023, 09:15:39 AM
Let's start with the simple choice: Do you consider yourself to have a gambling problem affecting your happiness, security, relationships, finances, etc? (Yes or No)
Now, here is something a bit different: Do you have a "gambling problem" which you can sometimes control for years? Either you make enough income to call it "adult play", so you do not have real problems, and/or you simply stop for a long time. Then - months or years later - it gets worse again and you are in trouble.
If it's hurting your relationship and your finances it is something that you have to deal with right away when you're gambling activity is hurting these two areas it's not good that you keep it rolling for years even though you are managing it well, there will be a time that the problem will become unmanageable or both your relationship and finances will deteriorate, I experienced having issues with addiction in a short period and I fixed by stopping my addiction, that's the best way to deal with it, stop and focus on your finances and relationships, these two are more important than anything gambling, so gambling should be on the backstage

Quote
(First question was above)
(Second question) Either way, when it's time to stop, how exactly do you do it? (For example) Change other habits, go new places, exercise more, stop drinking, simply "swear off" gambling... How exactly do you stop? Thank you.
I just focus on my relationship and my work and stop gambling for some time, I do come playing but I make sure that it will not harm things that are important to me, in life, you should know your priorities, and those priorities are the things that will make you stronger.

634  Other / Meta / Re: I think it's possible to keep going without banning mixers on: December 17, 2023, 08:28:35 AM
It's not if the forum will survive without or keep going without mixers, it is if some of the forum members will continue to be active because the mixer campaigns are not here anymore, I think they will still become active while waiting for the new campaign to open up, the managers will likely pick posters who are actively posting not just because they want to apply for a new campaign.
Those who are actively posting 5 or more posts while in a mixing campaigns will likely drop their numbers but they will continue to post, they know the forum is very attractive to projects, new campaigns will open up and we never know after five months after talks about mixing, we are still doing good.
635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does match fixing concern you often? on: December 16, 2023, 11:30:35 PM

What have your experiences about this been? Is match fixing considered a common occurrence in leagues you place bets at?

I don't think it's happening in the higher leagues and big names are involved there's more money to be made and will be made for big names, do you think Canelo, Tank, and Crawford will involve themselves in game fixing knowing that the stake and the prestige that comes with every fight, game fixing can happen in small fights and minor leagues but when titles are involved or you are in a run to become big names in boxing every fighter do not want to involve in a controversy that may tarnish their reputation on their career.
Big names can fix the fight by cherry-picking their opponents but I don't think they will fix it by paying their opponents or organizations manipulating big names in boxing, all the news about game fixing in big circuits are just speculation.
636  Economy / Gambling / Re: tell me the best online casino on: December 16, 2023, 03:43:28 PM
I can vouch for Stake it has a good reputation and withdrawal is fast and instant some of the criteria you're looking for in a casino are all here, it's not only not a scam that you should be looking for but a casino that will protect your funds in case there is a hack in the platform or in case some players win a big amount of money.
Stake.com guarantees to continue to serve you even if there is any untoward incident, they are the industry leaders and they have proven their leadership and brand by continuously marketing their brand on many platforms like here in Bitcointalk.

When it comes to picking the right casino to play the brand is always important if a platform has been actively promoting and preserving its brand it can only mean that the platform is well established.
637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Andre August - December 15th in Florida on: December 16, 2023, 03:12:20 PM
I didn't watch the full fight but I watched the replay of the fight, in my opinion Jake Paul was very good in this fight, he constantly put pressure on Andre August and managed to do well in the attack, his punches seemed to me to be very effective from the beginning of the fight which in my opinion caused damage to Andre August every time he was hit and until Jake Paul threw the punch, it was funny how Jake Paul celebrated when he landed that punch on Andre August and then Andre August fell, that showed how Jake Paul is more evolved in boxi, I believe that many people who had doubts regarding his victories and his ability to go far in boxi, at this point they should have stopped having those doubts

I didn't expect anything unexpected in this fight I did not even bother to watch and just waited for the news and watched for the highlights, there's no resistance on Andre, it is pretty obvious that Andre is not the kind of fighter who deserves to be in the ring against a power puncher like Jake Paul.

I don't want to praise a fight or a fighter where there is a mismatch, we are all aware that Jake Paul is going to knock out his opponent if there is another fight like this for Jake Paul maybe I just ignore the thread because it a useless topic, he should go for someone who is his match people are paying to watch, writers are taking effort to write and the network is spending money to telecast, Jake owes the community to show something different in his next fight.
638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prove me wrong: Gambling is both more relaxing and entertaining than trading! on: December 16, 2023, 02:39:35 PM
You can lose money on both but when it comes to the level of excitement, trading is nowhere near gambling, one of the reasons why people gamble is because they want to be entertained, but you cannot find someone who trades for fun, they only want to make money when trading so if you're going to create a poll I doubt if trading will win, trading is for serious people who wants to make money in the market, it takes a lot of effort and time and it's not fun doing this compared to gambling, in gambling you can just bet and forget and let luck play its.
You cannot do that in trading because in trading there are a lot of factors involved you're just throwing your money without any chance of profit if you just pick any trading pair.
639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take time to read the terms and conditions of casinos before registering? on: December 16, 2023, 12:44:47 PM
The terms and conditions of casinos and other companies is usually very lengthy and somehow boring for some people. Hence , many people rarely find time to read them. They may actually contain some of the complaints that people raise about some casinos such requiring KYC if there is need or suspicion of money laundering activities.

What is your take on this?

It may be boring but this will save you a lot of trouble if you decide to play and take the casino seriously, whether it's boring or it will take you the time you have to read it and not only read it but also understand it because without reading and understand these terms of services, you have no guide on how you proceed on the casino that you're going to play, like checking if your location is allowed to play in the casino, and also about KYC and when and how they ask KYC and what are the necessary documents so you can prepare beforehand if ever they need you to do KYC.

It's irresponsible if you just sign up deposit and play without reading and fully understanding the terms of service of the casino you're playing, you can not make an excuse for not being aware or forgetting to read their TOS, all casinos may have the same TOS but be sure to check some casino makes their TOS different from other casinos, so prevent having issues read, understand and get an update on the TOS of the casinos that you're interested to play.
640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can I ask for refund if casino game has bugs? on: December 16, 2023, 11:46:27 AM
You will have to show proof that you lost because of bugs or they might accuse you of making up a story to regain your losses, this is not easy to do, you have to check the chat group or the community or ask members if they also faced a bug when playing if many players complaint then you can use that support your claim, but creating a report on your own and nothing to back you up, it will go to nothing, they will ignore that appeal.

So it is better to play at casinos that have no report of bugs because they have capable coders and maintenance support that will address issues as they come along
The worst thing is losing money on bugs that you cannot prove, it will just become a he say they say thing, and in the end, the casino will win the argument.
