226  Bitcoin / Hardware / People lining up to pre-order GreenMiner's CC-1, world's largest Bitcoin Miner. on: January 02, 2014, 02:44:39 PM
<mods, feeling free to move once the humor subsides>

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNd496dOkCg

One person interviewed said, "There's proof, and you can't deny proof." Another person goes into great detail explaining the mathematics of the structure, albeit he doesn't mention Bitcoin, probably to assure his place in the queue while he waits for his funds to transfer out of Mt Gox so that he can place his commercial-size order once pricing is announced.

Meanwhile, police are on site to guard against bitcoiner-wannabes from plugging into the CC-1, directing hash power toward some pool using their bitcoin wallet address as the receiving address.

Performance: GH/s

Power: 0 Watts (All Green)

Die Size: 1 Acre2

Price: TBD

Tap-out Date: Complete

Proof of GreenMiner's CC-1 is all over the internet, namely YouTube, albeit the engineers behind the world's largest bitcoin miner have yet to come forward. Rumor as it that they may move their field array to an undisclosed location to fend off prying eyes.

There's reason to believe that at least one CC-1 was briefly connected to a live pool, oppose to a testnet, with one pool operator stating, "Since I'm not in the business of disclosing private datas, I'll simply point out that there are no CC-1 miners mining on our pool."

Meanwhile, CES-goers are readying themselves to attend the 2014 show in Las Vegas, hopefully to meetup with those behind GreenMiner.

Bet between Inaba and Phinnaeus Gage.

Bet terms:  Bruno will refrain from posting false information until January 1st, 2014. False information is defined as posting any information that is false, incorrect or unverified, including overt, non-overt, implied, speculated or otherwise not backed by hard, verifiable facts and/or proof.  Posting any false or incorrect information, making any implications or posting any "speculation" or unverified information will result in an immediate loss of the bet. Posting anything other than verified and verifiable facts will result in a loss of the bet. Posting with any sockpuppet accounts, alternate accounts or trying to circumvent the bet through third party posting, whether paid or unpaid will result in an immediate loss of the bet.

The bet is considered satisfied and won on January 1st, 2014 UTC if and only if Bruno Kucinskas or his agents have posted no false, incorrect, or unverified information as stipulated above. Any other outcome is considered a loss on the part of Phinnaeus Gage as per the terms of the bet.

The bet is for 10 BTC.  If Phinnaeus wins, Inaba will pay 10 BTC to the BTC address of Phinnaeus choice.  If Inaba wins, Phinnaeus will pay 10 BTC to the BTC address of Inabas choice and request and accept a permanent ban from Bitcointalk staff willingly and without recourse or appeal.  If the Bitcointalk staff refuse to ban his accounts, for whatever reason, Phinnaeus will refrain from ever posting on Bitcointalk again, either as himself or any alternate accounts.

Feel free to double-check the ~900 posts I've penned since the bet was made on November 08, 2013, 09:48:31 PM (CST).

2) Go immediately (RIGHT NOW) to your local home improvement or hardware store for rolls of plastic, Duct tape, WIDE masking tape and  a couple rolls of self-adhesive weather stripping. You want to have a roll or two of the type of plastic that is used by painters; (the kind they use to cover your floor and furniture in case paint drips) and a roll or two of Duct tape.  Don't deploy this yet, but if the radiation arrives, you'll HAVE what you need and won't be battling a million other people trying to get some when the danger actually hits.  You can use the plastic and duct tape things to cover the insides of your windows, doors, AC electric plugs, light switches, bathroom exhaust vents, stove exhaust vents, -- even ceiling vents, to TRY to keep out radiation particles once you know they're arriving.  (NOTE: this may not be 100% effective.  Houses have loads of nooks and crannies which allow air from the outside to get inside.  If you cover the largest ones, you're at least giving yourself and family a fighting chance.)  These supplies are available immediately at: Home Depot Lowes Walmart TrueValue Ace Hardware and many other retail stores.

CAUTION: Don't click that URL unless it's somehow opened safely, for I don't know how to do such, hence seeking info.

You can certainly see your enthusiasm within the work you write. The arena hopes for more passionate writers such as you who are not afraid to say how they believe. Always go after your heart. “Man is the measure of all things.” by Protagoras.

Thanks for your post. One other thing is that if you are promoting your property yourself, one of the issues you need to be alert to upfront is when to deal with house inspection reviews. As a FSBO owner, the key to successfully shifting your property plus saving money upon real estate agent revenue is understanding. The more you are aware of, the simpler your sales effort is going to be. One area exactly where this is particularly important is inspection reports.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MtlIcbZHDMk

Assuming the alligator was successfully traded for a 12 pack of beer, what should the beer be traded for?

Keep the initia virtual trade reasonable, with all virtual subsequent trades traded accordingly, i.e. no beer for car for house. The slower the growth rate, the more enjoyment this thread will become. Feel free to submit images.

Opting for no reserve post, thus will document the subsequent trades below:

Alligator
12 Pack Beer
750ml bottle of really awful wine
NEFT Vodka

Sadly, the cripple (he calls himself that) had to pick up the coins tossed his way while on stage. What if he had an up-to-the-second-bitcoin-wallet-address displayed behind him depicting donated bitcoins, refusing to go on with his act until there's an uptick? In fact, Josh Blue's entire act would consist of how he deals with the latest technological devices. For instance, he got a 3D printer, and the first thing he printed was arm--a left arm that now matches his bad right arm (hand).
