I don't know why Chinese exchanges list XCN first.  Huh But I don't like BTer or BTC38. Mintpal, Poloniex or Bittex are prefered
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: rpietila Altcoin Observer on: August 03, 2014, 06:03:47 PM
Bitfreak says it is not feasible for Bitcoin to implement Cryptonite's mini-blockchain. Is it correct technically and politically? Cryptonite sacrifices scripting features for mini-blockchain. Bitcoin can not do it, can it?
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: rpietila Altcoin Observer on: August 03, 2014, 02:47:25 PM
Guys, what do you think about Cryptonite? Paper-wise, this coin is excellent for micro-transactions

Ignore 32-bit users. They are poor. Also, software development and user support cost too much  Wink
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: July 25, 2014, 06:00:34 PM
Current price and volume of BCN would be the best explanation for the behavior of some BCN butthurt in this very thread  Grin

BCN is dead. XMR is the de facto standard for CryptoNote coins just by looking at BCN/XMR parings on Poloniex (similar to [YourCoinHere]/BTC)
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: July 25, 2014, 04:40:59 PM
BTW, why did someone create this release?
What for?
What is his goal?

Who knows. There are a lot of 'rival' coins like DRK and BCN that feel very threatened by Monero, and for good reason.

Beware the trolls/FUD'ers. Here's my current list from this thread:
Rinndaranaur
digitalninja81
titan86
Vilawil
HolyTrumpet
dNote
Hexah
Mumbles
Rias

Ignore DRK and BCN trollers  Wink

Have you filled XMR survey?

Thanks for telling me after I tried to download twice and wasted my time. @#%$%@#

How am I supposed to get some #@#$@% coins now?

Hi to all,

As BBR runs rather snappy for privacy-oriented cryptocurrency, is anyone following this thread familiar enough with Open Transactions (OT) so he can give out of a sleeve tutorial on how to set up OT BTC/BBR market on a local OT server?

What is the benefit?

I think you waste my time

the program for windows isn't working

and likely you are premining it, and dont want more people mining the coin

and that is why the program isn't working,

and you dont care if you waste my time, so #@$#%@#@#$%

More than 8000 - 10000 miners are "premining" it. Thanks god you are not part of us

I am personally doing a small survey about XMR for all the people interested in completing it :

Thanks in advance

I have no idea how to answer #2, How much of your networth is in cryptocurrencies? because I have no idea how it should be calculated.

If you have non liquid assets they could not be converted to crypto, at least not easily or likely.  In the case of people who own their home it's often their biggest asset by far.

Where can we keep tabs on ONLY answers?

276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bytecoin [BCN] vs MONERO [XMR] who will be the winner in the Cryptonote War on: July 22, 2014, 05:05:39 AM
BCN looks dead to me. No buy support. Extreme selling pressure on Poloniex. We don't need to mention about BCN any more. The candidate to compete with XMR is BBR - BoolBerry

What are the biggest possible amount of coins that can be sent in a transfer? 100 coins? 200 coins?
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - Secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency - Now on Hitbtc.com on: July 20, 2014, 10:42:53 AM
How long do monero confirm a transaction transaction, i have transfer some coins to a excahge plartform for 10 hours, but the excahnge palrtform still not receive my coins?anyone know what happen?thanks !

Did you send using the current version of the wallet? If you sent using and older version (fee too small) the transaction won't confirm.

What happens to user's funds after that? The sent fund will be returned back to user's wallet, won't it?
