Diff changes and the pool can be unlucky at a certain time in a day

DMD is still more profitable. I mine both GDC and DMD. But as of GDC I mine it and sell all for BTC. Then buy DMD. I believe that DMD is much more attractive to merchants than GrandCoin.

I donate some DMD to some merchants and they like it very much. I heard that 2 or 3 members in this forum have contacted indie developers to help them integrate DMD as rewards in their mobile games.

DMD as game reward will be very good starting point.

@Pythonideus I am still mining at http://eac.eu.hackshardgaming.net/ It looks like the most profitable EAC pool for me at the moment. I hope that the new server will improve our profitability

earth.vircurpool.com is quite unlucky pool. Lower reward than expected. That's why I mine EAC at hackshardgaming

Quark has a flawed design. That's why you need to be careful to hold it. Its price can be dropped very fast.

hackshardgaming pool estimates that if my hashrate is stable at 10 000 KH/s, I can earn 88K EAC. Actually, my earnings depends on pool luck. Therefore, I have earned 84567 EAC today (24h)

BTC or LTC or DMD or any other altcoin are all about speculation. At a certain point of time, you should buy BTC, sell it after that to buy DMD. Then sell DMD to buy WDC. Then  sell WDC to buy LTC. Then sell LTC to buy DMD. Then  sell DMD to buy BTC

All trader (or some miners) works like that. The purpose of the game is not to hoard BTC, but earn profit

After first 3 days (x5, 3x and 2x payouts), I earn much less than expected

10 MH/s (10000 KH/s): 85k EAC (yesterday), 78k EAC (today). Updated December 30, 2013: 39k EAC

If I mine LTC, I can earn 3.31 LTC at the same time ( = 0.1 BTC)

If I mine WDC, I can earn 270 WDC (= 0.186 BTC)

If I mine DMD, I can earn 0.21 BTC

I'm paying opportunity cost here. You may too. What do you think about EarthCoin which is supposed to be Quark killer?

Bad idea. Everybody who mines at middlecoin will lose not win. middlecoin depends on pool luck and does not take diff retargetting into account.
