Bitmain is the source. Same email address as the previous batch in which I got one. Maybe bitmain got tired of the wire transfer delays and unpaid orders (tons of people with multiple accounts ordering and not paying so they can sell the account) so they removed it from the options of a hot selling product.
Yup!! As predicted, those guys brokering the middle on the batch releases ruined it for a lot of people. That's how it goes I guess. I think it's safe to say that humanity has, for the most part, been an abysmal failure of an experiment.

Bittrex now accepting BCH. Long transaction times, but the coins will start flowing from the wallets and the dump will begin.
Bittrex now accepting BCH and yesterday people were blaming Bittrex i mean wow? That's the spirit of bittrex that they are now accepting new unstable things while other exchanges are sleeping so i would like to say that bittrex has done a great role in a history of other exchanges thanks to bittrex that they have done that for us to maintain their image once again.

Exchanges aren't sleeping. They don't want the risk. Do you have any idea how much risk there is associated with transacting something this new and volatile. It's immeasurable really. No way to quantify it. That Piece of radioactive shit could wipe out an entire exchange. Ask Coinbase how they felt making good on all the ethereum transactions from  $300.00 down to 14 cents in the blink of an eye.
1043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: August 04, 2017, 11:31:31 PM
They sold out within hours of that last batch on the 2nd.... Sad

For whatever reason the difficulty of litecoin isn't spiking with the release of all the L3+ miners. I suppose it will continue to rise, but so long as it doesn't double or triple any time soon, these L3+ miners are STUPID profitable.
The large start shipping in two weeks and they then ship every two weeks. LTC will likely get north of 1 million very soon.
1044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain looks like they're releasing a 15GH/s DASH miner called the AntMiner D3 on: August 04, 2017, 08:30:38 PM
Batch 3 (Aug 03) 35,000 Units

bullshit. sales were open for ~1hr, that's 583 units per minute. not likely.
Not a chance. Sold out in 20 - 30 minutes and the servers were buried at that. 3500 maybe but not much more than that.
1045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain looks like they're releasing a 15GH/s DASH miner called the AntMiner D3 on: August 04, 2017, 08:27:33 PM
Someone knows a 'regular' PSU with all requirements (power and connections)?
Corsair maybe?

I would get a server power supply if i were you, a lot cheaper for the same rating

Would the hp dps 1200 work or cutting it too close?
I wouldn't go over 80% of the PSU capacity. General rule. Play it safe.
1046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain looks like they're releasing a 15GH/s DASH miner called the AntMiner D3 on: August 04, 2017, 04:12:09 PM
So I have opened an order twice by mistake, it still is available to pay but it says

Unpaid
Unshipped
Expired

will it be okay if I pay this order? Anyone had this situation? Thanks.

actually I ordered a d3 + powersupply yesterday. Did the exact BTC amount payment within an half an hour (I have screenshots of proof that it was paid in time) and now my order is showing the same status as yours. I made a ticket of course so let you know how it goes... Very annoying at least + 24 hours ago I made a ticket but still got no reply.
Is it better to call them by phone or...?  Huh
Only if you speak Chinese.

Ok then I got something to learn to this weekend Wink
But this is a bit annoying, I must hope they don't sell the miner to someone else. How's the experience with bitmain on these kind of issues?
They are actually very good. I had an order marked Unpaid, Expired for an L3+ for 28 days while they awaited a wire transfer. Bitmain doesn't respond like you'd like them to but they get the job done. They are swamped. As long as you send them proof of your payment they will recognize the order as "Paying" and not take it from you. Make sure to use the new system of "proof of payment" on the website under your orders. That's how they are tracking wire transfers now.

Bitcoin Cash would only be a failure if there was a doublespend, therefore it is a success.

Coinbase will no doubt be sued for not giving out their Bitcoin Cash and the Banana Cash to all Bitcoin holders (Banana Cash was a Bitcoin clone launched a week ago with double the block size of Bitcoin Cash).  Banana Cash will be waiting for a couple years for the hash rate to catch up (still waiting for the miner to mine the first block).

Coinbase should be sued for every Bitcoin air drop that they did not honor over the past 3 years (of course there were more than one).

It should be against the law for an exchange to not comply with an airdrop, and the penalties should be very severe.

When the Bitcoin Cash hash rate finally comes down allowing us to dump our Bitcoin Cash on the open market, the Bitcoin Cash Foundation will release  press release of the good news (good for adioption) that will make us want to hold it to pay our federal/state/and local taxes with more ease.

The Bitcoin Cash development team is waaaaay more smarter than the Bitcoin Classic devs.
Digital drugs???
1049  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fork failed? on: August 03, 2017, 08:25:07 PM
The fork did occur but many miners abandoned BCash coin right after it split from the main chain. The exit of the miners results to extremely delayed block creation due to the pre-calcuated difficulty and as a result no transactions with BCash can go through. Overall it fails as a currency, but does decently well on exchanges in spite of the inability to deposit.

Once the difficulty goes down more miners would go back if there is a profit incentive.

Nobody can really say it is failed until a few months from now. There is still a chance it will succeed as an alt coin.

If the difficulty drops by 20 times and bcc is worth 1/5th of btc, then miners will to to bcc. They will just switch between coins imo

How the does the difficulty go down if there aren't miners to create blocks?

My prediction is that there will be people going to pay a bounty to have blocks mined.  This is so they can get their money into exchanges.

It's is kind of like having gold, but its stranded in a country without transportation!

Miners are not everything. Miners wanna take profit. Mining of BCC hasn't any profit at this time.
They are waiting for price going up or difficulty going down. If difficulty wouldn't go down the price will go up at short time.
Actually, if you're trying to grow a POW, SHA 256 Cryptocurrency....then yes, miners ARE everything.
1050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain looks like they're releasing a 15GH/s DASH miner called the AntMiner D3 on: August 03, 2017, 08:09:55 PM
The so-called "2nd batch" was first batch left-overs (unpaid orders etc.).
$700 or so diffrence in price ,bitmain must know that these machines will make alot lesss that originaly expected

ppl who paid 10k for the innosilicon miner must really feel dumb atm

$2699 was 1st order and $1599 2nd order  (today) so difference is $1100 not $700 and it is certainly very decent.

And u get shipped one month later, so i expect this D3 will do more them 250$/week ...
Is a nice move from them, everybody gona cry if they buy D3 right now for october at 2500$ when they gona see the ROI go to 8 month on November.
Is about faith or not, bitcoin is more and more a reliable virtual currency, u are no more private with this money, u hate to go on mixer or like for ETH shapeshift.
So i assume DASH gona be used more on Deep/Darkweb same for the Z coin brotherhood, i dont think about  price gona down for long term, ofc he gona get drop cause of the instant mining and sell, but DASH can assume this and go step up.

So i will say i wait my 2x D3 DASH miner like a kid ( first ASIC invest for me ) and i gona old this coin like all other altcoin i mine. I dont need income with this, is like a big bet, i have another work income on my hand Wink

EDIT : this DASH miner is a X11 algo, can he work with other X11 algo, or only DASH ?
Works on any X11 Algo

Does anybody know whether Bitmain helps in ordering PSU for those who bought a miner without PSU, because of the PSU's absence?
They do not. The PSU's come available much more easily and frequent than the miners. Just wait til the next batch is available and order them the same way you ordered the miner on the website.
1052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Release date of the new Antminer D3? on: August 03, 2017, 12:15:21 PM
OH hell!! when will they release a new batch again?
No one knows. You have to watch their website like a hawk for days and days. Lately they've been 6-8 days apart but there is no rhyme or reason to it. Worse if you're in the US because you have to watch through your night as it is China's day. They typically seem to open the orders up around 4-6pm China time.
1053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: D3 Dash Miner for October Sale on: August 03, 2017, 10:47:51 AM
I'm not scamming anyone. I'm just trying to sell them for a slight markup.

I get it everyone is wary of the newbies, but thats why I've offered to meet up in person. In either a bank or a Starbucks, there is no scam here...I might be new to this forum and crypto in general but I'm sure there are more effective scams than what you perceive this genuine offer to be.

Everyone once started out as a newbie...

I'm asking $4200 a piece for them. This includes all taxes, customs, and shipping fees for the US. It also includes the PSU

Fair enough. I'm sorry. We se so many of these types of offers and 99% are scams. You're the only one to offer to meet in person. Best of luck.

Why is there so much FUD surrounding this miner?  Does the same thing happen to all antminers released?
yes, always fudsters. Just do the math on the profitability and follow your head on it.
Pretty bad advice seeing as how those "present" math numbers never materialize. This new FUD garbage is the newest catch phrase and is already overused to the point of nausea. There's FUD and then there's facts. Here's the facts. You pay $2700.00 for a unit with "TODAY'S" profit of $1,500.00 per month. But....you don't get it until several 100's if not 1000's of PH/s slam the network. Now you are grossing $400.00 per month on a $2,700.00 unit along with all the other blind lemmings. That's not FUD....it's just stupid. I already know what the worst case is on the S-9 and I can buy those for $1100.00. 2.50 S9's for the cost of 1 D3. 2.5 X $369.00 pm or, $922.00 per month. You do the math. I already did. More people need to. This shit is off the chain stupid.

Since you are slamming on facts: please give proof why the network hashrate will increase by 100-1000 Ph/s. I agree that the network hashrate will increase significantly, i expect to see an increase of x10 by end of October. This would make it at 150 Th/s, but no way it will come near 100 ph/s!
5 companies releasing these beasts onto the network all at once. Selling 1000's from each company. I don't know, you tell me.

Totally agree that the profitability of D3 will be nowhere near what the profitability is today once they are shipped. But I'll ask the obvious question: How are these farms in China making money (I'm not referring to Bitmain either) off of the same equipment at the same prices? If it was such a bad "investment", Bitmain wouldn't be in business.
No electricity costs and they mine this technology long before we even hear about it. Probably will be running 10nm soon.

How is "todays" profit on a 15gh d3 only $1500?
"today's profit" is Zero. There aren't any shipped yet.

Meaning I've secured the order and would be selling them to you since I bought more than what I needed.
Yeah....right, we see this scam almost every day. You don't have shit except a stupid plan to try and steal people's money. Suck it scammer.

Does anybody have any rough figures what they guesstimate the ROI time will be for the first few batches of these machines?
How wild are the stated figures of 6-7k a month after a few batches etc?

You need to remember those numbers are a snap shot of this very second. Are you saying $6,000 - $7,000 a month in Revenue?!?!?! $82K a year from a $2,600.00 unit?? Think about that for a minute!! Not happenin. They said the same thing about the L3+'s. Their profita are already in half and those are just STARTING to hit the network. There are very few X11 coins to mine that are worth while. Once this massive release of hashing power slams into the network, you'll be lucky to get $900.00 the first month and then steadily lower after that. Switching pools will be a problem because they will be the only outlet for all these machines. Folks need to pinch themselves and wake up. If the D3 makes an average of $400.00 per month over the year, you will be very lucky. Best to hope for another fat X11 coin to give these things somewhere to work. Otherwise, mark my words. This is the biggest pipe dream to hit the pools in history.
1060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: D3 Dash Miner for October Sale on: August 02, 2017, 07:05:27 PM
You have these machines in your possession??
