I don't mess with these " Bitmain Experiments". AT ALL! I learned my lesson from the D3 and that actually was the best of all the "Bitmain Experiments". It's all just a deliberate diversion anyway to keep people from realizing that Bitmain is currently running higher density chip sets in their own miners and dumping all their legacy technology all over the marketplace. No sense in buying an asset that is trending lower and has a ways to go before bottom. One of the dumbest thing one can do with their money. Tie it up in a falling asset. These coins have a long way to go down before they are attractive again. There are "NO USE" cases for them.

How much for 4 L3's?
At $800 per it would be $3200, including power supplies, power cables, and knowing that they hash perfectly as advertised. Man bud....I hate to piss on your Cheerios but we can buy L3+ direct from bitmain with PSU and coupons for $650.00 delivered in April. Just got a few that I only ordered a week and a half ago. Honestly that's not even that exciting. They make shit and with all the cheap units flooding the market Diff is gonna do another moon launch. We all got fucked by Bitmain's rampant greed. |

haha looks like bitmain is finally starting to squirm a little after extracting billions from everyone. They are issuing coupons and dropping prices like crazy. Just got a bunch of $350 coupons this morning.
Hopefully they will be stuck with a shit ton of excess stock, and get screwed with 100's of millions in 7-10nm chips for bitcoin and 16nm for Litecoin that they wont be able to sell at the crazy prices they were hoping for this summer.
My friend, Bitmain is FAR from "squirming". They are executing an extremely brilliant plan to clear their remaining inventory just prior to new release. I promise you they are already mining the new chips. Hence the insane ramp ups in DIFF. At this stage Bitmain could GIVE these units away and it wouldn't hurt them one bit. Notice the "June" expiration of all those coupons. Those coupons will only be accepted for the legacy technology only. Shortly after those expire, expect to see the new releases. Trust me, people WILL pay whatever they have to for the new units. They will buy in droves. Large mining operations will begin swapping legacy for new. No.....no it won't. It's not accurate and or correct. It seems to state that the "payment channels" will be "regulated". From my reading of the White paper, I do not believe that is either possible or true. This article seems to be spreading the misinformation that Lightning is a venue for Banks and corporations to control the BTC network. I strongly disagree with that premise. Consider the inverse then: your reply suggests that Lightning is unregulated, which is not necessarily true, depending on one's perspective. While Lightning (like Bitcoin) is unregulated by purpose-built regulatory agencies, it is regulated by it's design (i.e. theft using old channel states is too risky to exploit). This can be regarded as a combination of code-level and peer-to-peer regulation. Possibly incorrect descriptively, but the outcome is the same: users are protected from fraudulent behaviour. If Lightning (or Bitcoin) is promoted as being "unregulated", then all that does is validate stories in the press about "the wild west of cryptocurrencies". If some people insist on looking at all things Bitcoin from the regulatory perspective, then it's much better if the common knowledge is that the software itself provides the regulation, which makes Bitcoin difficult to corrupt (unlike human regulators) Yes thanks for clarification. My reference to regulated, was specific to outside agencies. ( Governmental ). I keep seeing these posts claiming that Lightning will be forced to be "regulated" by government agencies thereby creating centralization and control by "financial institutions". I may be wrong, but from I have read and watched, this just isn't true. Internally regulated within the platform......I sure hope so. |
