21  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB]🌟Antminer Z9 mini 🌟cheap🌟 read explanation why I do not pay $2,000🌟 on: June 30, 2018, 03:37:40 AM
You doom and gloom guys are hilarious. They wont recoup the investment? You must not math very well.

So you're convinced that the Z9 mini will earn 1500 USD or more with  a 70-day ?

1500 USD This is the difference between Batch3 and the market price.
70 days is the maximum waiting time.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
I know all my 4x Antminer B3 earning is today  12-13 BTM =4.44 USD what is 1.11USD per miner and it's all and it goes for  paying  electricity.

Bitmain sold it for  1875 USD, shipped 1-10 may
https://shop.bitmain.com/product/detail?pid=00020180424165031060prOryiaX0729
batch2 for 1588 USD shipped 11-20 may
https://shop.bitmain.com/product/detail?pid=00020180502135225326on3p022D0647

and in less than two months he will not even earn back electricity costs.

Why should the Z9 mini be so different?
I wouldn’t pay much attention to his babbling. There’s a lot of ignorance behind that big post count. You can see how he got them.

Try googling what happens to crypto mining profitability once too much hashing Power enters the network. Or you could just look at the S9, L3+, A3, D3. Or you could just keep typing ignorant comments that just prove that you know very little about the real world of mining. Your choice.
23  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB]🌟Antminer Z9 mini 🌟cheap🌟 read explanation why I do not pay $2,000🌟 on: June 29, 2018, 12:26:57 PM
You are correct. They will not return the initial investment. Problem is, there are a lot of stupid people running around that believe in pixie dust and unicorns that will pay $2,000 in a nano second. Saw it last night in another Z9 thread. Some asshat bought one for $2000 in less than 4 posts. Even though the seller had ALREADY recouped his money. It's just how it goes around here. Idiots everywhere.

Beware all! They don't care at all about their customers!

I received a defective PSU and a defective ASIC (28% of rejected shares on four pools I tested). They answer one time and after that, not a fucking word. On WeChat, Twitter, email.

Now, they give one ASIC for new and previous customers... but it's false! I asked them how to do... NO ANSWER.

Nothing new I suppose, they said for the first batch that next set would hit only in Aug, so you have 2 months with lessor difficulty, yet here they are selling 1 with 1 free.

The problem is not about their batches. They sell defective material and they don't do anything to correct this. This called scam.
Inno's customer service blows goats man. It always has. It's hit or miss with those assholes. If you get a lemon and many do...you're fucked. They get your money and then they don't give a shit.

And the wall is gone.  Cheesy

I have a feeling the guy who dumped those 1.2 million UTC is going to regret it lol
I'm sure regret was what drove the sale. He finally realized this thing is a complete failure. 5000 posts in this thread and nothing constructive has happened since the first post. It sure takes some people a long time to figure out the boat is sinking.

With all due respect, thats some weak ass FUD dude, the boat already sank a long time ago and has been underwater.

Now is the time for the treasure hunters to salvage the wreckage.
So how is it "FUD" as you say....if it's based in fact and reality? These acronyms like FUD, HODL and FOMO make crypto sound so childish and unprofessional. Hope fully all the "little kids" that are promoting this image, will all leave through the same door they came in, now that reality is setting into the protocols. A MUCH needed bloodletting.

Selling only one for $250 including a power supply because I need the cash ASAP, so I need it sold in the next 24 hours with the payment upfront in either bitcoin or litecoin, and I'll get the miner and power supply shipped off tomorrow afternoon.
I'll give you $125.00 per miner. You send them to me first. Then I'll send payment. PM me for my shipping address.

No, I need the cash asap, I can't wait to send them first or use escrow. Stop trolling.
Send the miners NOW! As soon as I get them I'll send the BTC. Only, now that you waited, it's only $100.00 per miner and PSU set. If I have to type again it will be $75.00.

Stop trolling
I made you an offer. Just because you don't like it, don't accuse people of "trolling". My last offer to you. Send me 5 L3+ with PSU's for $75.00 per set and I will pay you after I receive the gear. This offer is good for 48 hours. PM me for my shipping info.

New to using something like this, does this just mine bitcoin, what are the daily profits roughly? Smiley

Thanks!

Yeah they mine bitcoin, and they make at current prices 6$ a day gross. Profit depends on electricity and if you have to lease a space.
They make a$ 1.30 per day. Total shit. Halong is very marginally more efficient than S9. You lucked out selling those two to suckers.

That's SO SO bad... in SO many levels!!!! It's unbelievable!!!!! Shocked Angry The email I received was from Bitmain's official email!!!! It's very very easy to fall in this fraud (even for experienced miners)!!! I feel SO bad for the people who fell in that shit.............. Cry
The way it was done, Bitmain is guilty and must take the consequences for it. It's not fair that people suffer such astronomical damage as that. No doubt that Bitmain has responsibility for what happened...
How is this Bitmain's fault? I don't agree with everything they do but I've dealt with them extensively for a while and I have always been treated well by them. They are not the Villains people would like to portray them as. In the end we are all responsible for our decisions. Can't blame others. Life's not fair. Never was and never will be. This is a very difficult space to navigate in. It's new and there are no rules. We ALL have the ultimate responsibility to protect ourselves and others when we can, but in the end, WE are responsible. That's why I made this thread. To hopefully save a few people. Truth is, people get greedy and make bad decisions clouded by greed. On BOTH sides of the fence. Just be vigilant and don't lose your discipline. SCAMS are getting MORE and MORE sophisticated because there is a LOT of money at stake. Look at this ASICminer.com scam that is going on. I don't think that's even a real company. Yet they have videos and websites and idiots putting phony reviews on YouTube. The less people that fall for this shit the less these maggots will gain. Be careful and be VIGILANT.

No man, you didn't understand... how many times have you received an email from a BIG company (from their REAL servers), but was actually a fraud? If that were common and "acceptable", the email would have been extinguished a long time ago... The problem is not the email as vulnerable technology... many serious huge companies work every day with much more important data and money by email with their customers and partners. The problem is the lack of security on Bitmain servers! That's why Bitmain is guilty for that. If you had received an email from Nvidia's OFFICIAL email for example, with all your REAL data (including your address!!!) offering some kind of discount and you were fooled by it (again... coming from the OFFICIAL email with your REAL data)... the reason for this would have been purely a security breach of Nvidia and you can be sure that if you proved to have made the payment, they would take some action to reimburse you and everyone who was harmed. Any serious company would do that. If the email had been sent from another server, not from Bitmain's email server, then you would be right... But is NOT the case!
It was NOT sent from Bitmain's Server. The Emails just had the NAME of the Bitmain address masked onto the title. If it really was Bitmain's server you could reply to the email. You could not reply to these emails.  This happens constantly with other "large companies". We get scam-mail from PayPal, Amazon, Apple, Google email look a likes, ALL THE TIME. It's the way of the World my friend. Never underestimate how big of pieces of shit human beings are. Always have been and always will be.

Yes... we agree on parts and I know that phishing emails happens all the time. But I've never seen anything like that... I never received a fraudulent email with the sender showing up as 'contact@paypal.com' or 'noreply@paypal.com'... is always 'contact@playpal.com', 'roreply@pay-pal.com' or something like that... AND what we can't ignore is that the email contained our confidential data which only Bitmain should know... which makes the situation even more serious and worrying. I recommend that everyone at least active the 2-factor authenticator and change the password on Bitmain site asap.
Bitmain has been telling us to do that for almost a year. Just to be fair. really, in any secure environment....why would you NOT?

37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Innosilicon releases A9 Zmaster 50ksol/s Equihash miner at 620W on: June 16, 2018, 10:35:36 PM
Look at what Inno did to the new Decred miners. They have been pumping out 20k miners each month to where they flooded the market and it will take 2 years for anyone to make their investment back and that was without Bitmain entering the market. Now it will be Inno vs Bitmain to see who can flood the market the fastest and I expect Bitmains miners to be obsolete in 2 months which is what happened to the A3's for siacoin. Anyone who pays 10k for Inno's miners is in for a rude wake up call because it will be making $10 a day in 2 months.

For Decred, 20k units per month is factually wrong. At only 20k miners at 2TH/s each would result in network hashrate of 40,000TH/s. We are around 25-30,000TH/s right now.

I think 5k units per month is more like it, add to it what Ibelink is adding.
It wasn't meant to be an exact number and the next batch is shipping while the network is at 30PH when not even 2 months ago it was at 2.5PH. At the end of this second month it will be at 40PH which is about 20,000 a month from "1" company. What do you think Bitmain will do??? The exact same thing Inno will do and that is stop selling when people stop buying but by that time it will be too late and they just robbed everyone all over again. The D3 was the first alt miner that everyone got royally screwed on and I saw the posts about it but still thought it would be different this time around but it wasn't it's only gotten worse. I'm not saying anything to bash anyone I'm trying to help and teach from my experience so no one else gets burned. I have 50k in miners I've gotten new 1st batches from Bitmain, halong and Inno since February and only have $13k in coins to show for it. Mining isn't dead it's no longer profitable and it's way better to buy at today's low prices and hold because the A9 wont sell for more then $400 in 2 months.

Wisdom aside, 20k units in 2 months would mean we should be at 40PH, but we are not there. The actual number should be 5k x 2 months = 20PH. What is being added is mostly Ibelink 6TH units, I think they are testing and slowly dispatching them, which gradually pushing up the net hash. Who know where the net hash ends up. If Ibelink adds 5k, we are looking at 40-60PH, plus more when oblisk ships.
The point is that Inno flooded the market so bad in just a little over a month. The network for decred has goine up from 4PH to 30PH in 1.5 months and that's without Bitmain pumping out miners. When the first batch of miners were out they were making $200 a day each but the A9 is only making $140. The inno D9 today only makes $25 as of today only 1.5 months later and cost $8300. Now they are selling everyone here the A9 that makes $140 a day but costs $10,000! Why can't anyone see this!? I will come back to this thread and post I told you so to everyone since they would rather attack someone for telling the truth then attack these manufacturers that are robbing everyone with a smile.
https://dcrstats.com/pow
It's pretty Wonky. People are very eager to place a $10,000.00 bet with the hope of only making back their $10,000.00. I sure don't get it. It sure must be nice to be a ASIC manufacturer. More money than Cartel Bosses.

39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: June 16, 2018, 02:09:52 PM
I guess it depends a lot on your power cost. I pay 4.6 cents per kw, so 26,5$ per month in power for each L3+.
Not that hard to make more than 26,5$. Your power seems quite expensive!

Today I made 3.5$ by mining various coins (including XVG which I don't like but it was the most profitable a good chunck of the day).
Still profitable enough to run but I'll not get rich this way...

I agree it's highly probable that bitmain will release something new soon, this may be what's gona kill my L3+ Sad
How did you achieve such a reasonable cost for Kwh? Is that the raw Kwh cost you pay or is there the usual .02 additional in added fees from your power Co.?

Ok so because I really need the money since I just moved across the country and have less than I thought I would have, I'm going to let them go for far less than I was going to before, I will just ask that you send the payment upfront and I will get them shipped out ASAP, I just don't have the time to wait for escrow. Thanks.
You are seriously STILL trying this shit?!?! Wow. You're a tenacious little Monkey. I'm glad you turned down my offer to pick them up and meet a couple months ago. Thank you!
