41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SEM] Semux - Official Thread - Free Airdrop on: September 09, 2018, 08:48:14 PM
I've noticed that suddenly support on stocks exchange went up from 0.5 BTC to almost 3 BTC. For me it's a good indication: bigger buywalls = higher chances for the price to rise...
That's exactly what it is. The coin has a good support, which even with a strongly falling market does not allow the SEM coin to fall much. The chart shows that the price is at the bottom, which means there will be growth.
if the chart shows that the price is at the below, this does not mean that there will be growth. the price may drop even lower. but I think this coin will have the chance to become very valuable in the future.

By your standards, when will the future come? When will you already have great-grandsons?  Grin No offense. I really love Semux!  Roll Eyes

No one can predict the future.

We can only speculate.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][SEM] Semux - Bitcointalk Signature Campaign on: September 09, 2018, 06:20:03 PM
I would understand the action of deleting posts by the moderator so that the campaign would be required to write 20 or 30 posts a week in most cases pure spam, but not one post per week
Example: you will write in the week 1-2 posts will come on Saturday or Sunday moderator and will remove you 10 posts from more than two or three years.
Instead of deleting posts, I would like to delete multi-accounts from this campaign because there are so many of them.

We have taken action against multi-accounts from this campaign and if you will notice in last week and this week's payout. We will continue to monitor the participants account and provide actions against abuses.

A few of my older posts got deleted by bitcointalk mod. I can see how this would affect the participants of the signature campaign. Always check especially before the week ends to ensure you have sufficient post to participate and be rewarded in the campaign.

Check your current post count vs last week's post count.

i think that having only 100 validators is a centralised way to look at this business. but hell btc does not have 100 pools at the moment  Smiley

Bitcoin is very poorly decentralized and currently mined by only 16 pools. 6 of these pools account for 81.5% of the blocks in the last 24h.
So if we compare Semux it's actually very good decentralisation of mining and also gives all people a chance to participate via the delegate pools.

agree but even 100 is still a small number on the global scale...but of course this can be changed if it will be necessary.

there is a discussion going on on discord and between devs, to increase the number of validators in the future.
They want the community to decide, but first VMs will be introduced!

Scaling the number of validators is trivial. The challenge here is with the bottlenecks during consensus. The Semux BFT consensus would need 2/3 of the participants to agree on the block proposal for it to be valid and forged otherwise the network will get stuck. As you scale the network factors like bandwidth and other bottlenecks will become more pronounced. As always we are striving to have  a balance between Decentralization and practical performance. We will adjust accordingly.

I have Joined the Signature Campaign ,But not find my ID  in the table  week 10. Please check it  . Thank you

Participants are counted weekly. So week 10 participants are already locked in and new participants will be included in the list for week 11.

I think time will tell what people are missing in this project, it is difficult to tell what is truly happening to the price, because the current market condition most of the tokens in the space are affected, but what I'm doing now is too be well positioned in a good projects and Semus is one of them

Semux not Semus!
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SEM] Semux - Official Thread - Free Airdrop on: September 06, 2018, 11:10:00 AM
Semux is listed on CoinRanker. Your platform for streaming real time cryptocurrency prices: https://www.coinranker.net/cryptocurrency/semux
Although Semux has already listed several small exchanges, I don't think it is enough. To be honest, these small exchanges, especially stocks.exchange, are not easy to use, where the fees are too high, and the volume of transactions very small.

More exchange listing will happen post semux VM launch. Now that we have experience with exchange listing and API integration it will be much easier listing on other exchange when the time comes. Hang in there.

i agree that blockfolio signals is a really good tool in order to inform people.
apart from that Semux looks really solid and devs are doing a wonderful job.

is there a page where you can find more information about validators and what they offer (if you support them by votes)?
any validator suggestions and why?

You can find the list of public/pool validators here http://pool.7u.org/. Fees and estimated payout indicated per validator.

You mistook, you can view my history post, i had two posts last week, on 28 August and 1 September.

i can see your posts.
on: 01-09-2018, 15:54:46 + on: 28-08-2018, 15:48:28

---------------

i did not receive any payment for 2 weeks (12. + 19. august) although i wrote 5-6 contributions. this is evident in the history, was mentioned here several times and in telegram i also contacted the admin.
unfortunately no feedback. i think the project is good but the way participants are handled is a cheekiness. i wait exactly one more day and then i leave the campaign. i am very disappointed
This week you do not receive payment? Strangely, I also missed a week ago for the same reason that old posts were removed, causing the total number of posts I made at that time to be less than the number of posts when the spreadsheet was set up in that week.
But from the following week I have always been checking the number of posts and always keep the total number of my posts is always greater than the number when the spreadsheet is set up.
And I still get paid back, although I do not contact any devs to ask.
Make sure it is weekly on Sundays, the total number of your posts is always greater than when the spreadsheet was created on Monday. That's a suggestion on my experience, though....

yes if the counter is higher than on the Sunday before it always runs correctly.
if old posts have been deleted somewhere, you will not get a payment. not even if you have written 20 posts.

only counter+1 is important for it to work correctly.
unfortunately this is not defined correctly in the rules.

either the process will be adjusted or it will be corrected in the first post here.

we will update the first post for the bounty rules

thanks

Anyone thinks that LTC hodlers will get an airdrop 2?

Less likely but we are not closing doors.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SEM] Semux - Official Thread - Free Airdrop on: August 26, 2018, 09:08:03 PM
Is there any place where the developement of Semux is actually discussed? I see this thread is basically dealing only with airdrop and price issues, topped by some hyping nonsense post...

Development related topics are discussed on Discord and GitHub.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][SEM] Semux - Bitcointalk Signature Campaign on: August 22, 2018, 04:28:12 PM
Hello dev, I haven't received my airdrop tokens and I'm on the list.

I just checked it and it looks like you are only part of week 8 participants and not week 7. You will get your airdrop token on the next payout.

My wallet has not been updated since the new version of the wallet was released.i want to know why?Does anyone have the same problem as me?

So what is your wallet version in current? You should update your wallet from https://github.com/semuxproject/semux-core/releases. I can guarantee that everything will work well after setting the new version up.

That's correct, download the latest version and see how it goes. Also if there are still problem please message us on Discord and paste your debug.log file for better information on the issue. .

I can see that active VM development discussion has started on Semux github. Devs are picking Ethereum VM if I'm not mistaken, which is a nice choice IMO (lots of contracts written in solidity already).

Could you provide a link to this discussion?
