221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PRE-ICO] Bitcoin Sport - trading platform, wallet on: October 28, 2018, 11:43:50 PM
As for traders whether this platform will be suitable them for realization of the abilities? Or it is better to look towards other specific projects?

Nowadays, everyday there is a new exchange come out, So the competition is very high. As I trader I will not trade on a small new exchange over large popular exchange, however, some new coins and tokens don't hit large exchanges early, and new exchanges take advantage of that by listing those coins to get traders intro the platform.

Hello! Couldn't find fundraising information in the white paper! Tell me what amount SoftCap and HardCap? Thank! Successes to you in realization of the conceived!

I looked for it too, I hate when I have to search hard to get simple info. Those things should be put in the header of website, because it's the first things that anyone would like to know. Anyway, according to the admin on Telegram, they set it in Dollar, $7.000.000 as softcap and 24.000.000 as hard cap.

I don’t really understand why they use someone else's blockchain? Or was it so conceived? Typically, projects that do not have their own blockchain for their investors suffer losses in such a market.

Not true, there are lot of successful projects that built on smart contract platforms. Creating independent blockchain costs a lot, it's not easy to do, specially in early stage, you need to secure it etc ... businesses create own blockchain when there is a need for that, like a project that requires a customized blockchain or when they expand their business.

I would like to know about the readiness of the project to sell tokens. Why did you choose such a long-running stage of the Bounty campaign before you started Crowdsale?

It's a common sense ! you promote you project early, So when you start your Crowdsale, you will find investors who buy your tokens, if you didn't promote early, who will find out about token sale !

I've noticed from the first page, If you click the picture of the person from the team it brings you back to the main page? It would be good if they can put a link directly to the person profile like in LINKEDIN right?

Yep, I faced same thing, team section doesn't contain links to their profiles, Anyway I searched manually on LINKEDIN and I was able to find GIGZI's profile [ link ], only few of them have profile, I think that's why they didn't include the links.
I looked also in https://www.coinschedule.com/ico/gigzi, 4 of 18 Team Members Verified, Company Verified, KYC Interview Conducted.

No doubt the project is have legitimacy since they also post their activities and physical appearance in public crypto gatherings in their social media. It's going to give assurance to contributors that they have a company, working people and I hope they can develop their concept sooner.

For me, it's the opposite, there is still lack of necessary information and I don't think the team show up on social media yet, only some photos of their advisors.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PRE-ICO] Bitcoin Sport - trading platform, wallet on: October 26, 2018, 09:12:10 PM
I will start with the male, Bitcoin sport is name for a fork, if you are not making fork, you should have chosen another name that suit the product you are willing to build, trading platform.
I noticed that you don't have clear plan and road map, first you said you planned to make a fork, then you chose to make a trading platform. Also, you wanna start with wave platform then move to etheurum, then creating separate blockchain ! additional to that, you are saying that assets (oil, gas, gold, shares of the largest companies) will be available for trading – analogue forex !, From my knowledge, having those assets on a platform requires license and with an anonymous team and project I don't see that possible.

229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚖️[ANN][ICO] OATH Protocol: Blockchain Dispute Resolution & Governance Protocol on: October 24, 2018, 11:59:30 PM
Explainer video about Oath protocol is what every must watch to understand it well. It is said that the protocol will be decentralized but appointing jury in case of dispute doens't make it trusted protocol because the fate of dispute will solely be in hands of those selected people ? Use cases of the protocol arises the potential well but somewhat it is semi-decentralized in my opinion, I might be wrong in understanding.

The answer to this question is in the video that you mentioned, they will use a random algorithms to select a diverse and unbiased pool of jurors, also the jurors are selected from a diverse pool according to the criteria set by the parties and their identities are kept strictly confidential to preserve objectivity and prevent external influence.
It is unbiased since they will use random algorithms to select a diverse and unbiased pool of jurors, but how well are these jurors? are they trained to do their thing or just random people?

According to what I read in the whitepaper, They do not need to be experts in any field or area, OATH jurors only need to rely on their common sense to decide cases based on contract terms, evidence, and testimony. Because OATH Protocol uses a Proof of common sense which is a consensus mechanism that is used within the OATH jury community.

I did not quite understand the purpose of this project, could someone please explain or give an example of how I can use this OATH protocol?

The protocol made in first place to be used by businesses. It's kinda similar to Cybersecurity which is the protection of internet-connected systems, including hardware, software and data, from cyberattacks, but OATH protocol is decentralized and can be use widely for many types of protection, including copyright and e-commerce dispute.
For your question, I think you are asking on individual level, you are most likely going to use a platform or website that uses OATH protocol.

Anyway this is USE CASES from whitepaper  [ Whitepaper ]

▶️ BLOCKCHAIN E-COMMERCE DISPUTES
Party A: Seller of a pre-owned luxury handbag in “like new” condition
Party B: Buyer
Party B purchased a pre-owned luxury handbag from Party A on an e-commerce blockchain platform. After receiving the handbag, Party B argues that the bag is not in “like new” condition and requests to return it. Party A argues that the photos provided on the platform clearly show the condition of the bag, which matches the provided description. Party A refused to refund.
The platform incorporates the Oath Protocol, and the dispute resolution agreement contains the following conditions:
The dispute is decided by 21 jurors, no category requirement, with prevailing ratio set at 60%;
If Party A prevails, the payment is automatically released to Party A;
If Party B prevails, the payment is automatically refunded to Party B once the item is returned to Party A.
Once Party B initiates the dispute, an SAC is created automatically. Party A uploads relevant photos, communication history with Party B, as well as a statement detailing the condition of the item. Party B also uploads relevant evidence to the evidence pool.
Once the jury reviews the evidence, over 60% of the jurors side with Party A, eliminating the need for a refund. Once both parties confirm the dispute resolution result, OATH returns the result to the smart contract, which then automatically transfers the money to Party A. Jurors are allocated their award, and the case is closed.

▶️ NEWS VERIFICATION
Party A: A group interested in accurate news reporting

Early news reporting is oftentimes vague and conflicting, due to the lack of verified information
and the abundance of unverified rumors from multiple channels. OATH allows Party A to
crowd-verify the facts.

To generate interest, Party A initiates an SAC and deposits OATH tokens to reward evidencecollection and verification. OATH users submit the facts and information they are aware of, and other users vote to confirm the veracity of the submitted information.

▶️ BLOCKCHAIN INSURANCE
Party A: Blockchain health insurance company
Party B: Insured individual

Blockchain technology facilitates innovative insurance models, and OATH works really well withthose models, providing a fair and efficient decentralized claims-verification service.

Party A and Party B signed a smart insurance contract that uses OATH as a service provider for coverage determination. To obtain insurance payment, Party B, the insured, initiates an SAC for the insurance claim. Party B needs to upload all relevant evidence to support the claim, such as pictures, medical appointment confirmation, medical billing statement and diagnosis, and so on. The smart insurance contract contents are automatically added to the SAC evidence pool. Based on the contents of the contract and provided evidence, the jurors will vote to decide
whether the insured’s claim is covered and he or she is entitled to the payment.

233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 🔥 Skrumble Network SKM 🔥 (PoA + Masternode Staking) on: October 21, 2018, 10:10:32 PM
According to new announcement from Skrumble's team : Ally has reached over 90,000 users!

But, the app is still in centralized version, and this number represents only the total users and not the active users. I'm also wondering if the register system would be still available when they convert to decentralized version in coming days ! and if this feature are adding to this version would be the same for decentralized version !
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚖️[ANN][ICO] OATH Protocol: Blockchain Dispute Resolution & Governance Protocol on: October 21, 2018, 09:47:56 PM
I think understanding concept required reading whitepaper and doing some search, but I want to know, are jurors just normal people on internet? and Does your protocol protect right out side of your blockchain?
I think normal people, if you check their youtube video, they are talking about jurors credit level something. But for the benefit of the doubt, its better that the team will answer here instead of me stating my opinion  Grin

I did watch that video when I posted my comment, but it didn't give any details, all it said " The jurors are selected from a diverse pool ".
Anyway, I review the whitepaper and this is what I found : OATH jurors only need to rely on their common sense to decide cases based on contract terms, evidence, and testimony. They do not need to be experts in any field or area.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Altcoins Survive on: October 21, 2018, 09:25:38 PM
A new report published this week saying that ICOs from 2017 are below 66% in value from their listing price. I think most of those companies won't even back to its ICO price, so bad for those who invested in ICOs hoping to make big money for long term.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 🔥 Skrumble Network SKM 🔥 (PoA + Masternode Staking) on: October 21, 2018, 12:01:48 AM
For people who are predicting the price of Skrumble. It will always depend on the supply tokens or coins also the exchange of all traders and investors.

The price of any cryptocurrency depends on supply and demand inside exchanges. if there are more sellers than buyers, the price goes down, and opposite is true. When there is masternode or reward system, most likely would be always a supply, in other words, those who get rewards would sell their rewards constantly in exchange and make sell wall bigger than buy wall.

I know Skrumble will be a good project. Because if not they will not be on many exchanges listed. So I know this project is legit and trusted.
Dude What are you saying they have been listed on as many exchanges as possible and i think doing that create more awareness to the community once it start trading in high volume

SKM is listed on 7 exchanges, but none of exchange is big. just small exchanges. I think the problem with this token, the supply is very big, around 1,500,000,000 SKM and that doesn't encourage any trader to buy it, because it will end up fucked when token holders dump.
What could move the price and increase the volume are services that Ally app will provide, but for now it's still just a centralized beta version and still there is no real customer that interested in using the service.

1.5m is that total supply but the current circulating supply is only around 770k and with the staking the supply in the market will further decrease allowing a huge pump whenever a good news come out.

Which news will affect the price !! this is not bitcoin or ether or famous coins. the current circulating supply indeed is 747
Millions tokens ( check coinmarketcap ). What do you mean by " the staking the supply in the market will further decrease "? I didn't get what you mean by that.

I not absolutely understood, 1 coin costs $0.7 or 100 coins cost $0.7? If the first option, then it is really very good for simple registration and installation of a wallet. I say about airdrop.

The value in Dollar changes every moment, it depends on market. For your question 1 SKM = $0.006710, therefore $0.006710 times 100 = $0.65. So the answer is 100 coins cost $0.7 (for current time is still just a token ) .  I hope you now understand how to calculate the price of any amount of coins or tokens.
