Since we have a lot of newcomers into CBX, might want to state here the advantage of CBX over other coins.

1) CBX only has a very few coins (less than a million) - Compare that with other altcoins who have hundreds of millions or even billions in circulation.
Con: the market cap is smaller so there'll be less attention if an investor only considers market cap as indication for value or potential of the coin.

Pro: Law of supply and demands allow the price to go up if the demand is greater than the supply. Having less supply means it is easier to increase the coin's price if an increase in demand happens.

2) PoSP: Unlike the traditional PoS, PoSP rewards those who participates the staking hence the extra P is for Participation. In traditional PoS, everyone is being rewarded if conditions are met like you got online every after certain period of time just like how activity works here in BCT. In PoSP, the staked coins are only being awarded to those who are actively participate in securing the network (whose vaults are online and staking) which means that you can get more share when your vault is connected than with traditional PoS coins.

3) Low inflation: CBX only has around 2% inflation rate. Other coins are having some 10% or higher inflation rate which means that they're flooding the market with more new coins, thus increasing the supply unlike with CBX where there are less coins being created and therefore keeping the supply small.

4) Well, this is only a temporary program, but the 30% WBIP bonus is huge for newcomers. Imagine buying 500 coins from cryptopia and getting additional 150. It's like you got 30% ROI right at that moment.

The first 3 ones are the most important, the last is only an icing on the cake or cherry on top kind of stuff.

I have 8-10 active connection. I kept my wallet running for almost 16 hours after successfull bootstrap installation and I think I am stuck at 99.80% for last 4 hours. Is it normal ?

No, its not, something went wrong with your blockchain. Using the Bootstrap it should take like from 20 minutes to one hour to sync completely, and the progression should remain constant throughout this.

I suggest you reload the decompressed Bootstrap files; delete everything in the cryptobullion folder but keep wallet.dat naturally, (if anything, make a backup of that file)... like I said syncing from Bootstrap should not take a long time; it is pretty recent.

If you still have the compressed bootstrap on your computer, decompress it once more starting from .zip file; I would not re-download it again though.

Sync time is dependent on Internet connection. I have a connection at home that is so bad it takes hours to sync for just a couple of days of missed activity. He may have a bad connection and his sync time will just be slow as a result of that.

Make sure the block count isn't progressing as your first step because you may just have a bad internet connection. Then closing and reopening your Vault should be your second step. If still stuck, go with the new bootstrap. Let us know how it goes please...
