The only very immediate public goal is the eASIC press release and related info from ActiveMiner.

What is the reason to call it "very immediate"?

1182  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MtGOX WTF is going on? on: July 28, 2013, 08:10:03 PM
Exact same thing happened to me a couple of days ago. I had a guy drive down to buy coins to from me and when he got here I couldnt get my coins off Gox. I was really pissed and confused. I got it worked out, I had a friend give me a short term loan and got my account verified, but it really sucked.

Please confirm.

After verification you were able to withdrawal Bitcoin?
1183  Economy / Securities / Re: ActiveMining Overview and Speculation Thread on: July 28, 2013, 07:50:18 PM
What are the upcoming goalmarks for the next days?

 - Progress on Bitcoin -> fiat convertion
 - NRE payment confirmation
 - eASIC press release

Anything else?
1184  Economy / Securities / Re: The coming flash crash in AMC on: July 27, 2013, 10:36:04 AM
He's paying the NRE.  It's time to give it a rest.  If this were a con, that 1,000,000 would not be spent on chip NRE.

Awesome. I must have missed that one, is there any proof?

I caution everyone that it will take us a couple of weeks to complete the painstaking process of getting all the funds converted and on to eASIC.

I found a bug in the value analysis tab. Transferred shares don't show up under it, so it understates the portfolio.

If you are refering to converted AMC-PT -> ActM shares, read this. Otherwise I can only say: transfered shares do show up for me.

Feature request: transfer options

Great idea, added to the todo.

Thanks.

The listing of usernames from sender/receiver for transfered shares in API responses was already requested, but an addition or replacement for this came into my mind: maybe it could be helpful to generate unique ids for internal transfers which are shown to those who sent and received shares? I.e. "Your transfer id is #342342. 100 AM-PT shares were sent to burnside". With unique identifiers each transfer would be (obviously) very easy to identify. Wink

Great to hear. Smiley

The presence of the SEC lead to a wild discussion about the future of BTC-TC and peaked when burnside published possible consequences for US share issuers and holders. After a day everyone calmed down and BTC-TC won't be closing it's doors to US citizens.

Maybe Goat is still interested in buying a great car.

Afaik he has one of those shiny R8s already.. Cheesy

EDIT: I just noticed this (and I doubt its anything new) but bASIC has the highest moderator approval of all securities listed on BTCT, tubular! Tongue

No wonders. creativex really does an awesome job! Smiley

I watched the orderbook over the last hours. It's very nice to see bids climbing again. People start to realize that they won't get BM shares for 0.4 anymore.. Smiley

Over the last two days, very roughly 800 shares were sold and 350 bought.

Garr255, if I may ask, what is your position on this SEC "incident"?
1192  Other / Archival / Re: btt on: July 25, 2013, 03:16:32 PM
I can assure virtual shareholders that I'll continue to do my job to the best of my abilities and that I'll continue to make decisions intended to protect and increase shareholder value.

Thanks for the sweet words. Smiley

Just in case:

Quote
Should management be unable or unwilling to continue operations of bASIC-MINING,
a suitable replacement, designated by management, will be sought out. If none
can be found all outstanding shares of bASIC-MINING will be bought back at a
price no less than 105% of the 7d Avg price, all assets held by bASIC-MINING
will be liquidated, and the proceeds distributed to shareholders.

Do you think this scenario is possible, creativex? I'd really like to hear some clear words on this. I'm interested in your position and vision for the future on this "virtual stock".  Wink

Edit:

If I recall correctly, the SEC was almost instantly involved in this since the pirateat40 thing blew up.

http://www.bitcointrading.com/forum/talk-bitcoin/sec-investigating-btcst-pirateat40/

They were going after him in 2012. And now, after a year, they address this incident again. Unexpected? Not really.

I'm not in the position to say "calm down, guys", but at least I can say: "don't overreact, please".

+1 that software is legit.  Are you a professional trader by any chance?

No, it's just a hobby and I fully support the Bitcoin movement. Wink

Sure, it's NinjaTrader. NT allows historical data import via CSV files. File specifications can be found here. Wink

Was about to ask why I was getting so many invalid inputs but reading through not alone so will wait on the update
Also about the bots do what the german's do
http://www.eurexchange.com/blob/exchange-en/3150-410008/410090/4/data/HFT-BAI-presentation.pdf

Interesting read. Some keywords to dig: quote stuffing, momentum ignition, layering and spoofing

Not necessary bound to bots though.
