That's not how it works! Grin

Please visit www.mastercoin-faucet.com to claim some MSC.

Notice to all:

It has come to my attention that the signing/message verification considers some (valid) signatures as invalid. Will be fixed after the weekend. Some UI changes are on the way, too and I'm thinking about dropping the verification via bitcointalk.org and replaced with something else. It's not intuitive and causes confussion, but on the other hand, it's educational. Seems that the instruction is not good enough, I guess.

Cheers!

Just received the Mastercoin thx! awesome! Question: Can i go back to get more after 1 day? Where can I get more Mastercoin, I am new to this so I don't have much other coins like btc.

Right now you can only receive one reward, sorry! But it's still enough to play around a bit - you can send small amounts. Smiley

Here is a very large thread with buyers and sellers:

Code:
[size=14pt][url=http://mastercoin-faucet.com/][glow=purple,12][color=yellow]Mastercoin Faucet - Give Away [/color][/glow] [/url][/size]

Wow, I'm not really a fan of flashy signatures, but it look great! Thanks for including it into yours!

So far:

 - 222 Mastercoin rewards (unique, 0.0005-0.0025 MSC)
 - 301 Test Mastercoins rewards (0.0001 TMSC)

... were claimed. The amount of daily visitors is very constant over the last days and mastercoin.org is the main source of new visitors.

I have received a great suggestion about some UI changes via email which I will implement sooner or later. I wish I would invest more time in the faucet. Still need to mail the follow up.. Roll Eyes
504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 7990 settings cgminer on: December 22, 2013, 07:10:02 AM
Get a clue, contribute and never ask this again. Roll Eyes

Sorry, if I sound rude, this is intended. Almost every thread on litecointalk.org is stuffed with the same question and I think this is annoying. Especially because this is an Bitcoin forum and your question is very likely scrypt related. Doesn't mean I don't welcome discussions about Bitcoin related topics of course, but this is just the tip anyway.

And again.. sorry! Embarrassed Wink

Anyone who has Ukyo's address PM me along with where you found the information. I'm in Texas and will pay him a not-so-friendly but legal visit.

That's stupid. Please overthink your attitude.

For everyone else - ask kslaughter: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1707

I used to ask 3M for a 'rendering' tank. The representation tells me about his clients briefly, including bitcoin (The ASICMiner may have implemented a tank like this).

AM partnered up with Allied Control in this matter. (electronics-cooling.com + report here). Thanks for the sources.

Can you recommend any source for Flourinert? I'm really looking forward to read more, great thread.

Could you outline what you are going to do in the next weeks and months?
509  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] CIPHERMINE-PT - Industrial Mining & High Performance Computing on: December 11, 2013, 08:27:34 PM
According to evilscoop this weeks dividend shall be distributed soon.

Quote from: evilscoop
Kate is rather ill atm, we'll get dividends sorted shortly, dont worry you will get them...

Quote from: evilscoop
I believe kate is going to make special effort to crawl out of her death bed to sort dividends today...

This does highlight again a need for someone else to be able to pay dividends should kate be mia, which I shall raise with her.

Update:

Quote from: evilscoop
Kate is still ill and meds are knocking her sideway.
She apologizes profusely but will roll the 2 weeks together on sunday.

How many shares are (really) left? When will TAT open the floodgates and enable transfers from direct to HL?

Cypres, the Bitcoin hub, with Neo as infrastructure provider. I like it. Wink

Edit:

I see that there are now some useful stats on lmb-holdings.com:

Quote
Currently you have 0 Shares and there are 2769815* of Shares available, out of which 197578 are locked.

*2769815 x 0.003 BTC = 8309.445 BTC

And according to the public ledger there are 32607 direct shares.

the SEC shut down an online poker room?

Actually it was the DOJ and a very, very huge incident.

Quote
Black Friday, April 15, 2011, will go down in the history of poker as the beginning of a new era. The United States Department of Justice charged principals of PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker and Absolute Poker with bank fraud, illegal gambling offenses, and laundering billions of dollars in illegal gambling proceeds.

This was followed by the seizure of internet domain names used by PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker and Absolute Poker as well as the freezing of 75 bank accounts utilized by those operators and their payment processors.

Later, all three operators banned American players from their sites and froze their real money accounts. (source)

The bitcoins are simply not there anymore, ...

So how does this fit together with "the wallet file is too big and due to technical issues payouts are not possible"?
514  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why MP is your God. on: December 06, 2013, 11:48:34 AM
Use several VPN, and Tor, or understand you'll get hacked, if not, though.

#bitcoin-assets may be the cave of the lion, but I'm pretty sure no one there has ill intentions like hacking those who arrive without using Tor or VPNs. Wink

Looks really neat and I'm very happy to see the advanced features of Bitcoin being used.

And I have a question/suggestion:

The website one (?) day online and there are already more than ten arbitrators listed, which is a good thing, but I would assume that there will be more.

Are there plans so include any filter options? Some statistics may also be useful, like: n positive transactions, m disputes resolved, to

> late 2013

rofl.

With the recent price rise mining seems to be very profitable, which immediently resulted in a sharp rise in (Litecoin's) hashrate.

In most online stores the prominent GPUs (7950/7970) are not available anymore or are up for sale with a premium of 50-100 EUR, almost all market place subboards in forums (and not only here or in the Litecoin forum) are filled with "looking for GPU x". My guess is that there is more incoming.

This weeks dividend

We received a total dividend of 19.38941136 LTC for 5369 shares. This results in 10.35414067 LTC and 0.29227723 BTC dividend for this pass-through, given an exchange rate of 0.0362614 LTC/BTC and a 0.96947056 LTC fee.

Transaction: 31bf49c14e2b27283b2c4fa92e55ecabd8794d1cf322360eb62c3b3df32d8133

The incoming dividend more than halfed in terms of Litecoins compared to last week (45.8 LTC vs. 19.39 LTC), but the recent Litecoin price rise affected the LTC/BTC exchange rate very positively (0.0134 vs. 0.0362).

Seriously, as far as I am concerned, this has never been FUD. I was really all out already.

It turns out we were just right, and I was honestly disgusted by my loss when I had liquidated. This is why the 20 messages in a row. Hate, maybe, but a deserved warning in hindsight. Now I'm more than happy that I could get out with a loss rather than lose it all.

When people lie all the time, you should stop to believe them at some point. Period.

I remember that night very, very well, because it almost drove me crazy. Grin

In retrospective I guess it was not all that black and white ("an organized group gaming the market" vs. "concerned users), but the inconsistency of Labcoin and some exploiting this for trading (the ticker band manipulation for example).

While he sounds genuine enough, and I presume he is legit, it would be a good idea if some older members acknowledged virtualspade has been vetted/doxed and if the contract with the laywer has been verified.

This definitely the right question to ask. An imposter acting as lawyer was my very first fear, also. Cheesy

TheSwede is actually having a good time these days:

Is this really him or just an imposter?
519  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: labcoin lawsuit on: December 02, 2013, 03:29:44 PM
I strongly support this, even as a non-shareholder. Smiley

Let's see, how far we can go with the probably first crowd funded Bitcoin lawsuit.

You assume they are actually hashing...  I always assumed this was a TradeFortress product to short mining diff .

It would actually be interesting, if anyone tried https://cex.io/redeem.
