1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN][EJECT] Crowdfunding Platform For Blockchain Projects on: May 27, 2021, 10:52:36 PM
I saw this on Telegram crypto groups and would like to try to participate and invest because it could give me another easy x2-10 or even x500. It could be the next safemoon or elongate.
I watched the AMA and carefully studied it; the devs are open about their intentions, but as always, DYOR. The risk on this kind of project is very huge so be careful.

Best wishes to the developers and the project! #tayor #dyor
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the government accept it? on: November 29, 2020, 04:22:11 AM
This is the reality as long as we are modern.  Think back to ancient times when people didn't know what money was.  They make transactions through products.  That is, one would replace the other's meat with vegetables.  And that was the process of their transaction.  People have changed over the course of the day.  At one time they used the leaves of the tree as a means of transaction.  Later, gold coins and silver coins were gradually introduced.  And today paper money has been created to make transactions easier.  But even 300 years ago there was no bank, and today we cannot go without a bank.  In the same way, 20 to 30 years from now, maybe the banking system will go up.  Because people don't want anyone else to know their bank account.  And people will choose digital cryptocurrency as an alternative to this bank.  Bitcoin may be his alternative.  Bitcoin is a decentralized process. This means that there is no need for a third party in this process.  There will come a time when people will no longer take the help of banks.  They will manage all the activities of daily life starting from shopping through digital cryptocurrency.

If my idea proves to be correct, will the government of the country accept it?
 1. Will the government of a country ever want their banking sector to be abolished?
 2.  How will the government collect taxes from the people?
 3.  If the government can't keep track of people's legitimate money, won't corruption increase?

1. I don't think the government will abolished the bank because as of now, bank is the central based system of a country. More problems will come if they decided to abolished it.
2. taxes is already imposed in crypto specially to other countries. In my country, btc is kind of invisible so there are no taxes still. But if you would use btc to buy something online, then that would require taxes.
3. corruption already exist even though they can track it right now, there are other means of hiding it even in fiat. So we all are not sure if corruption will increase if we can't track people's money
3  Other / Meta / Re: The rise of the sports-streaming link spammers on: November 29, 2020, 04:07:25 AM
These things can also be reduce by restricting newbie rank user from posting links. Don't know is it possible or not to implement this system at current bitcointalk SMF forum. A system like, only Jr. Members and above can post link or buy copper membership. Reporting those spam post and banning those spammers is the perfect solution for now.

If this is possible, it will also reduce newbie bounty hunter with multiple accounts. They won't be able to post the bounty reports(various platform link) without achieving any merits. As a result they will try to make good constructive post for getting merits. I know all newbies aren't spammer. But most of the time newbie user post inappropriate links.

I think it's better to just report it and let the moderators do their thing in deleting post like that. I understand that it is an easy way of stopping it if they would not let newbie accounts post links but It will still happen once they got a few merits so moderators will still do their job in it. They would try creating a few good posts and then shitpost from there, they are just delayed, and I'm sure some of those shitposters have accounts with sMerits here. Moderators are doing a good job handling it so I think we should stick to that.
4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you trust the co-vid19 vaccine ? on: November 29, 2020, 03:54:04 AM
I have heard a lot of opinions ... many are pro vaccine but also many are against it ...
And some don't even believe there is a real vaccine ... What about you ?

I would as long as they provided medical results from all the experiments they've done these past few months, there are a few promising vaccines from the trusted companies as well, my country already signed a contract to order a few million vaccines in the near future. If there are vaccines I would be scared to try, it's maybe from China. But yup if it is already tried from other people, and there are no severe side effects, then I'll take it.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 29, 2020, 03:12:03 AM
Problem with PBA is we don't have a timely update of player's injury status, unlike in NBA where we have a site to monitor the players status.

TROY Rosario has not been a factor so far in the playoffs, but maybe only against the Phoenix but hopefully he can still come back to help the TNT against a physical Ginebra Team. Also, Poy Erram has to step up his game, he also needs to be physical inside to battle with the big man of Ginebra, if he is soft, they'll lose.

I have also noticed that one, they don't update player's injury from time to time and we were just surprised to see them not playing which really affect the game.

Poy Erram have to step up if he want to be known as a legit big man in the PBA, for now "buhok lang malakas sa kanya".  Grin

haha.. that's too harsh mate.

Well, honestly speaking, his rule as a big man does not fit when their opponent's defense is good, just like the Ginebra Kings.
Poy Erram is tall but his body is soft,  but let's give him a chance to prove, we have game 1 today and see if he can prove us wrong.

You got it right mate, soft is the right term for Poy Erram. I remember that he was being scolded by Coach Yeng Guiao when he was with NLEX for being too soft that he can be pushed around by opponent's big man. He said that he will take it as a challenge but ever since I could not see any improvement on his game on being the man in the middle for the Katropa.

Yeah, I understand the sentiments about Poy, he can't attack good whenever his in front of a strong big man from other teams, but still I trust his outside shootings, if he can't score under the ring, I'm sure he can from behind the arc. And If he lacks in offense, I hope he should work harder in his defense. Let's see, he's a Gilas man after all.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: The pandemic did push the world towards a more digital age. on: November 29, 2020, 03:05:17 AM
yes that's right, I also spend part of my shopping through e-commerce. I think this is a good thing because people can't help but be forced to use the internet. The possibility that they are curious about cryptocurrencies may arise.  But I still hope that the  pandemic will end soon
Even if the pandemic were to end tomorrow I think things are never going to be the same, the world has changed and we need to adapt to it and I really think that the world as stated in the title of this thread is going to towards a digital age, I just hope that people also give bitcoin and other good cryptocurrencies a shot because a world in which all transactions are digital but only fiat exists will be terrible for our freedoms and our privacy and I really hope it does not happen.
Once we start living in a digital age, i guess we are starting also to minimize using traditional fiat as we enter into e-commerve world where bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have their edges over fiat. The use of online transactions for use will be maximize and i do believe that this would be a great start for bitcoin since people are embracing it now. And if this will continue even if pandemic has already ended, crypto will achieve its mass adoption soon.

This is what I hope too, but it's not happening here. Online fiat banking is so efficient for online payments, I can't even use crypto to pay for all the online shopping I've done during the lockdown. I would be willing to use it if it's allowed, cause I feel like it's my responsibility to use it for it be mass adopted by the people. But yup, it's hard trying to use it. So we have to start from somewhere. If there's btc available, I would gladly try it even though it's expensive at some point.

And yup, we all are advancing in the technological age faster than before, students are into online classes, work from home set up for some, non stop meeting through zooms, but I think after it all got back to normal, we will all have face to face meetings soon.
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the most advantage of Using Bitcoin Forum ? on: November 29, 2020, 02:49:08 AM
I always find this forum efficient whenever I need to decide something about what to do with my coins too, there are a lot of knowledge gathered here in just one place. Compared to researching all around the internet. Of course there are trustworthy users here that I begin to follow since then, there are those accounts that always helped me learn about btc when I'm starting before. As we all know, it's hard to find people in the internet you can trust about btc or even fiat. This forum is a safe space for us.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Crypto live forever or die? on: November 23, 2020, 07:48:12 PM
Will Crypto live forever or die?

I am asking that question because there is a possible World WAR after many years it is because US has raised the threats for many Christian countries and it is the only who'd empowered Muslims (terrorists) against the Christian, US is a biggest enemy of Christianity Since the day one. Just imagine that US sold trillion dollar weapons to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia alone who is a founder of many terrorist organizations including ISIS + Al Qaida along with the terrorists groups/organizations they created in Pakistan, US also sold weapons to Turkey + AE + Many other Muslim countries and raised a threat for Europe and many other Christian countries. The interesting thing which is seen is that that US did never raise an accountability for his weapon puppet countries like the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and AE, So it is possible that all Christian countries may awake and there could be a possible WW3. If it happens then do you think that bitcoin will live anymore?

As of now, with the rise of technologies in the world, with all the new gadgets base on the internet, I just think that cryptocurrency as a whole will be the main use in the future. The blockchain technology that is used here in bitcoin will surely be around even after 'world war 3' happens---according to your propaganda. But honestly, I don't think world war 3 will happen anytime soon or in my lifetime.
9  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are people dying from Covid19 or from reaction of the wrong medication? on: November 23, 2020, 07:26:08 PM
Are people dying from Covid 19 or from reaction of wrong medicines? As whole world has become an experiment lab for corona virus and we are using trial and error method which is quite obvious for treating any new disease but how can we be so sure that virus is killing people and not reaction/negative effect of wrong medicine? We even don't know what exactly will be after effects of this virus.. Many other opinions are also being circulated now a days about any conspiracy by unknown corporates which I really don't understand such as people say organ trafficking will b boost behind this virus as others are not allowed to see dead body of corona patients or population control is the reason behind spreading this virus... Lol it's seems a joke to me but what you guys think about it, share your opinion... If your opinion doesn't match with given options , kindly share in comment/reply box. Thank you in advance guys for giving your time on this post Roll Eyes

People are dying because of the other implications brought by the virus to their body, it will be just a simple virus to those healthier ones, I don't see any proof or studies that the medications has something to do with the death of others. If you would think, a lot of the survivors are treated with medications, those who died with it have other implications that is attacked by the virus.

It's almost normal here in my country even though the virus still infects other people, we just learned to live with the safety precautions impose by the officials, there are 2 leading vaccines as of now that are seen to be useful by 2020
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 23, 2020, 07:20:13 PM
That is actually what I ever experienced, losing more, and gaining less in gambling. That is why I quit gambling. Because until now, I am still confused about how to be in the gambling well. I tried to learn about the strategy of betting and the game that I participated in. But I fact, I still lost more. I feel so dumb  Grin Grin

If you just playing like those who want to only earn and think can beat the house edge and think they are lucky then its fine you may make some money but on other hand numerous ones will end up losing and if you are ready for it and playing for just to have a good time then it should not really be worrying anyone because you know the fact that its easy to lose than actually to win in gambling.

Maybe my advice is just play whenever you have the money to spare, in that sense you will be able to just enjoy the game. I win more whenever I enjoy the game, I don't know but maybe I am more relaxed so I can think clearly. If you would just allot a certain amount of money every single time you play, then losing it would no be as painful compared to when you lose a money meant for something else.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why you shouldn't tire out with bignners on: November 23, 2020, 05:05:07 PM
I don't get really tired reading the same questions over and over again cause somehow I do understand those legit newbies who are having a hard time adjusting to the look of the forum, I also find it hard to where would I start reading cause all I see is words and words, so maybe some of them starts creating their own questions so all the answers are already there, in one place. But I think a few good answers and link to where would they start would help. I just respond to those threads If I can contribute something that isn't already posted by other members.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Jobless for 10 years still doing great because Jobs market is a joke on: November 22, 2020, 11:54:07 AM
10 years. Pretty good achievement. I'll celebrate my 3 years jobless in about 5 weeks:) Trading, investing, algo trading, mining, supporting projects, advertising and many more activities and I'm doing better than i would do without quitting my job. It is possible, but we should not forget about self-improvement in case this market will f.k up in next few years. Be sure to always have alterantive in your life.

It's not an office job but as long as you are surviving day to day, earning money for you and your family needs, then it's a job. But you're right, we need to create a multiple source of income, I do small business and offer my skills in freelancing sites, cause if I don't, I won't survive facing uncertainties.

Ps.
Youtuber, streamers, passive incomes are the dream of those workers who are stuck in office jobs.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dose meme helps a crypto to be viral? on: November 22, 2020, 11:39:16 AM
In recent time i noticed such thing that in every new project or old project announced meme contest. Where they give such big amount in community for making memes about their project . Now what do you think is this memes really can attract investors?

Not sure though, maybe it depends if the meme is really good, I enjoyed some memes specially those who gives happy vibes in a good way. But there are those memes that makes me laugh at some point but it creates an idea that somehow not good for the bitcoin community. So it can make investors turned off.

But I do understand why there are contests for memes, memes can create publicity because it is easy to make it viral, but I think we have to think of what will be the effect of the message of the meme if we are creating one.
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I increase my Newbie rank? on: November 22, 2020, 11:26:12 AM
If you are already knowledgeable about bitcoin, then start reading threads and contribute quality posts here, if not, then do the same, start reading threads here to be informed, start with the threads for newbies, this forum will help you about bitcoin but google and youtube will help you most, do your own research cause if you will not start reading and learning about bitcoin, you won't receive merits that will be needed for you to get to the next rank. You shouldn't focus on ranks at all anyway. Focus on learning.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Multiplayer vs single player games on: November 22, 2020, 11:11:46 AM
There is a difference between playing against the house or a computer and playing against other players. I cannot judge which one is more fun though. There are people who find it more fun to play alone while there are also people who find it more fun to play against fellow gamblers.

It is not just whether a person is introvert or extrovert. It might simply be just a matter of mood.

True, I do single player games when I don't want to talk or socialize or play with other gamblers but I do play a lot of multiplayer games too, sometimes I play multiplayer if I'm in the mood to be competitive with other gamblers. It will also depends on what games are we talking about too. Most of the times, I play single player whenever I'm in bed before sleeping, too tired to talk and interact or to think too much, I'm just playing to waste the time before going to sleep so I'm used to playing by myself.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 22, 2020, 11:06:44 AM
No rigged but just noticed BGSM does an early give-up.

Then why are they doing that? I see the same scenario when they are playing with SMB, they pulled out their stars early even with a lead that they can come back, it's very frustrating if you are a fan watching the game, you know, there are things that are going out in our head.

Noticed the early give up too, but I've watched games like that in PBA and NBA, I don't know what the coach is thinking but maybe some coach do early give up to prioritize giving their main players a rest for the next game, maybe the coach already know that if he continue to use the main players, they will be exhausted next game without the certainty that they will win, an opposite to their never give up attitude but who know what the coaching staff is thinking, maybe they'll come back well rested at least, especially now that they are inside the bubble.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin make someone the richest in the world? on: November 22, 2020, 10:45:41 AM
Man, I'm sure the richest of the rich in this world became rich because of business and multiple investments from different platforms, maybe some invested in bitcoin too. And I think someone can be rich here, but I'm also sure he will try to create business in fiat too just to be among one of the richest. Capitalism makes them rich too btw, in bitcoin or in fiat, it will be the same.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPals Bitcoin is a scam on: November 16, 2020, 11:13:32 PM
There are a lot of users on PayPal, so I doubt this platform is a scam. If you experience problems on that website, then calling PayPal as a scam is not good. Issues are natural and bare for any platform as they are only new in the world of crypto. It could be resolved by telling the customer service about your problem with them.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use bitcoin? on: November 16, 2020, 10:54:11 PM
Here in my country, the Philippines, we are free to use Bitcoin. We have a local wallet here that is used by most of us. Its name is coins.ph. In that wallet, we conveniently convert bitcoin to fiat and it can also store etherium. Our government doesn't restrict people from using it which is why we have no problem at all.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: November 16, 2020, 09:47:29 PM
And besides, the addicted gambler also is the number one responsible for His choice as well too. Gambling shouldn't be a habit instead, this should only be an amusement only.
We are responsible for every move that we do as gamblers.

Just pay attention and always check if you're still on the right track when you're gambling. Very easy to say about amusement and habit but you'll never know how difficult they are tackling that problem.

The struggle of thinking and doing it as what we say can't be done by them easily.

No one to be blame if you involve yourself into this vice, it's your own decision in the first place allowing things to happened with you.
As instead of being entertained your engagements brings you to becoe heavy player.

Once gambling already inside your minds, it's difficult to removed it more gambling addicts needs attentions to the point of having
professionals to assess and help to recover to start a new life.

Play with responsibilities, never to attached too much.
Just as I've said.

We can give those advices to those addicted gamblers easily. But it is on them and they find it hard to follow it because emotionally, they know what they do.

And they have to do a lot of things for the recovery of it. Following others advice don't matter to them.
Advice for those gamblers who are already addicted won't work. It's hard to cure addiction, and simple advice does not help a thing. Gambling addicts need to change their attention to other activities and need to recover from family treatment. This is why it's so difficult to be drawn to something that's going to ruin your life.
