These 2 accounts, that were created minutes from each other and post same posts, seem to be instructing people to redeem their Bitcoin Cash.
I assume they instruct people to download a wallet that steals your private keys.
242  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bank Of Japan: Central Bank Digital Currencies Could Destabilize Existing Financ on: April 22, 2018, 11:56:35 PM
Nothing new here.
Seems like everything is going as it should Smiley

Soon enough Bitcoin will be the currency of the World.
243  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to make big money by honest work? on: April 22, 2018, 11:53:03 PM
Liking money too much often brings trouble.
I wouldn't recommend any honest person to focus on making a lot of money, but to focus on doing work that will benefit the World, if they can pay for their needs.
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Toast Wallet on: April 22, 2018, 09:56:33 AM
Maybe you downloaded the version for wrong architecture.

You could be running a 32-bit version of Windows, while downloading 64-bit version of your wallet.
32 bit version software should run on 64 bit OS however, so I would check the wallet version first.
245  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Linux live usb for trading crypto (not for wallets) on: April 22, 2018, 09:53:34 AM
Yes, that would be a lot safer.

You could even use Tails OS to have better privacy, plus it has an Electrum wallet already installed in it.

Well it took me a long time to rank up, since merit system was introduced week before I was supposed to turn to Senior Member, but I finally gathered those extra 150 merits.
I will apply for a Senior Member finally or Senior Member special pay if possible. I already changed the signature of course.
I also updated my address to segwit, so we can save on fees.

247  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Europe Wants To Know Who You Are? on: April 21, 2018, 01:24:09 AM
Governments all around the World do this all the time.
This is just how they operate, they like the money, they want to tax you, so they want to know all about your trades.

Bisq is pretty strong in the EU area though, as a strictly P2P exchange the level of privacy is very high, especially since it runs over Tor.
248  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Trouble using electrum sending to coinpayments on: April 21, 2018, 01:18:24 AM
You will need to give more info, like txid so we can make sure that the transaction was confirmed.

If it was confirmed then the problem is in the site you are using, not with the bitcoins.
249  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Billionaire Dies on: April 20, 2018, 05:06:15 PM
XRP is not a cryptocurrency.

How can you say that? And from what site did you learn that Ripple (XRP) is not a cryptocurrency? I do know that it is a system created specifically for financial institutions while its coin (token) was given birth through ICO, when they were just gathering funds for the project. Anyways, to enlighten you, just visit its wikipedia page: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ripple_(payment_protocol)

I can say that because they have no proof of work algorithm. Proof of stake coins have no use of a blockchain and are as much cryptocurrencies as fiat would be if banks published all the transactions for everyone to see every 10 minutes.
250  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: how to get confirmations about many transaction at once using bitcore node or bi on: April 20, 2018, 10:28:16 AM
Well not really.

getrawtransaction command only gives you the raw transaction data of the transactions in the mempool or in your wallet (if they are transactions to or from one of your addresses), unless you have txindex switched on, which it isn't by default.

You can however get raw transaction data of the transaction in some block if you know the hash of that block.
So there is no real way to check if the transaction is confirmed reliably, but if you know that the transaction was successfully broadcasted to the network with a fee that was high enough, then if you don't get the right output from that command you can know that it has been added to some block. But you can't do this for transactions connected to one of your addresses, since you will always get a full output.

As for checking multiple transactions, no. You can't do that with this command.
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Technology involvements in Top companies on: April 20, 2018, 10:14:18 AM
These are just tricks by chief officers in the company to gain some points as innovative leaders or something.
It is just PR, they have no idea what they are doing or what they could gain from using decentralized technologies.
They usually just end up centralized their technology and retain some inefficient blockchain structure that makes no sense in a centralized system.

Mastercard can just use Bitcoin if they really want an efficient payment system with blockchain technology, but I think they just want to appear competitive while they are losing their business to the blockchain.

253  Other / Serious discussion / Re: If there is sea rising water can be pumped into mountains, like in yemen, ez on: April 19, 2018, 07:58:00 PM
Sure, why don't we just send it to space. There, boom, problem solved.
We could also just nuke it and it will evaporate right?

I don't think you live in the real world mate.
Seems like a general problem of your ideas is that you don't understand the costs of doing things.
You give a simple solution that doesn't make sense to apply in real world.

Let me put it this way. It is a lot simpler for the whole World to just stop using fossil fuels than to fix all the negative effects of global warning.
It is easy to destroy things, very hard to fix them. Usually adults don't break stuff just so they can clean it up later.
The reason why people still use fossil fuels isn't because they doubt global warming or because they think these problems are unsolvable.
It is simply because they don't care enough about the consequences to stop right now.
That and the strong influence of oil industry on the governments that makes it hard to stop.
254  Other / Off-topic / Re: POLONIEX SCAM? on: April 19, 2018, 12:57:06 PM
You should probably use decentralized exchanges like Bisq instead.
255  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Billionaire Dies on: April 19, 2018, 12:52:36 PM
XRP is not a cryptocurrency.
256  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Why does Bitcoin keep using SHA256 in its POW? on: April 19, 2018, 12:44:09 PM
Is this the only disadvantage? What else am I missing?

It is the biggest one. That and the fact that SHA256 is very well tested and known to be secure.
Having ASICs mine is one thing, but having a hashing algorithm that is insecure is a complete chaos.

ASICs happen for every algorithm, but there are currencies like Monero that hard fork every time they have a doubt that ASICs are developed.

Also, in light of this, and given that Bitcoin is a decentralized system, who decides whether or not changes of this type could or should happen?

This is exactly why it never forked and it won't for a very long time. First you need for the almost entire community to agree that fork needs to happen.
Then you need a vast majority of the community to agree to which algorithm we should change.
And after all of that being discussed for years (probably decades based on how much time we needed to simply increase a block size) we would already have some company create an ASIC for the new algorithm.

It is not a simple problem and it doesn't seem to be absolutely necessary.
ASICs do hurt decentralization, but it is not widely established how much they really hurt it.
Anyone can buy ASICs and multiple companies can develop them.
And we still have big mining centers and pools in other cryptocurrencies that don't have ASICs for their algorithms.
And we still have practically only two companies developing hardware used to mine these altcoins.
Centralization in mining is not just an ASIC problem, it is a bit more complicated than that.

Vrednost Bitkoina dolazi odakle dolazi i vrednost dolara, evra i dinara.

258  Local / Other languages/locations / Re: Српски (Serbian) on: April 19, 2018, 12:16:59 AM

259  Other / Off-topic / Re: Facebook says it tracks non-users but doesn't ‘sell people's data’ on: April 19, 2018, 12:14:35 AM
Yeah, when it comes to tracking data of non-users, Google takes the trophy on that one easily.
Almost every website nowadays have a Google script tracking it's visitors across the Internet.

When I search on amazon.com for clothes etc.. and then when I am on other websites, I see google ads for clothes on amazon (maybe other online stores also). I think this is cheating and illegal for internet marketing.

And if we only knew what kind of information they take from your Android phones...
Few years ago Microsoft was very scary as Windows was most popular operating system, now most popular operating system is Android which is developed by Google and comes with Google apps with full system access and closed source.

I used to try convince people to switch to Linux so Microsoft doesn't have full access to their personal computers where they had a lot of personal information.
Now we have these computers always in an arm length and there is no good open source alternative. They are next to us while we are walking outside, while we are eating, sleeping, practically always...And it is all owned by the company that also owns majority of the Internet...

When it comes to privacy, we are in deep shit now, if we ever where.
260  Other / Ivory Tower / Re: There is no risk of WW3 by killing : chelsea and her husband, bill and hillary. on: April 19, 2018, 12:06:17 AM
I don't think you will ever find much support for just killing people B1tUnl0ck3r.
In modern civilization it is very unpopular to murder people.

I suggest you calm down a bit and think a bit more deeply about your ideas man.
Some people learn about dangers of their ideas by studying history a bit. Maybe doing that would make it clear for you why most developed countries don't execute people so easily anymore.
