1101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing Streak Strategy on: December 15, 2017, 01:13:01 PM
Sometimes I feel that betting against my self is the better option if it's a case that I'm just looking at horses and not actually putting them on then they win as soon as I put them on they lose. Majority of all betting is just luck.

This is the same story I have also witnessed with my friends. When we had gone out he used to predict and majority of times it used to come correct. And when the bet used to placed those times almost every time we lost it. It is something which is very strange because same person goes wrong when the bet is placed .
1102  Local / India / Re: What are some of biggest hurdles that startup bitcoin exchanges in India face? on: December 15, 2017, 06:18:11 AM
Indian Legality is most confusing to digital currency to grow especially fast developing currency like Bitcoin exchange is very hard to establish in present scenario

Government has started taking actions now. Below is the link where they have gone to exchanges and started understanding the user data . I think this might be the start of the shutdown process in India. In some days I think govt may even ask the exchanges to shutdown if they are not comfortable with this currency.

1103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your first betting? on: December 15, 2017, 06:03:52 AM
With regards to my very first bet, I won but the mistake with it was that I didn't bet a lot of money on it a at all, I would have won a lot of money if I had bet a larger amount I would have won aconsiderably large amount of money in the process. They

I think instead of you becoming happy that in the first bet itself you won the amount you are punishing yourself by having a regret of not placing more money. You are not realizing it that had you placed a big amount and you had lost the bet think about it . Always enjoy the winning moments and do not regret the results.
1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bubble burst on: December 14, 2017, 07:19:43 PM
This one is a tough call. I would say yes it is in a bubble but there will also be a new floor which is much higher than previous floors. Cashing out now with a profit means a happy Christmas, and at worst it simply means taking home less profit than others - nothing wrong with that

The rise is happening due to increase in the demand of cypto currencies from all over the world . This is leading to the price rise at fast pace. Thus some of them are even cashing out the profits as Christmas is around the corner which will help them to enjoy the vacation with the money they earned from this cypto coins. Do hold some coins for 2018 and few can be sold now if you fear of the crash.
1105  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Crypto currency Book | Register to get the book , FREE on: December 14, 2017, 09:24:14 AM

1106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is the martingale working or not ? on: December 14, 2017, 06:05:03 AM
Nope. The sooner you realize it the better for you. I'll say even more, if you are playing UNskill games like roullete, dice or slots you'll end up losing some day, bar you a are genius at maths.

Generally this all strategy does not work much in the longer run. Because if you tend to play for long hours and regularly it is you who is going to make loss and gambling site/casinos to make profits due to which they are still surviving today as well. So better just enjoy the game for fun and not for the wealth.

1107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: #1 Pick for January on: December 14, 2017, 06:00:42 AM
My bet is on NEO. As all other coins were pumped like hell neo didn't even hit ath since late august. I feel like investors will onto neo to pump it right next month. This my speculation.

$NEO is pumping right now. It will gain more steam in 2018. There are many ICOs on the pipeline that will be launching soon.

Right now it is pumping but we also know this could be pump and dump plan and which would mean that in coming time we will see a huge fall as people would start selling once they take out the profits. So better to invest in such coins which are stable and will have a huge future demand due to its uniqueness.
1108  Local / India / Re: Koinex Review on: December 13, 2017, 01:18:31 PM
People, their support is horrible!

I tried to contact support and was given a time of 24hrs within which I would be contacted by them. It's been almost 48Hrs and nothing has happened.

Does anybody have an idea who runs this exchange? Its being now couple of months in the market so wanted to get the review about is it legitimate site, service seems to be pathetic as per the above comments. Is anyone on this forum from their team?

Within how much time the moeny withdrawl is being processed?

RBI and Govt formed Inter Government constitutes an Inter- Disciplinary Committee

Government constitutes an Inter- Disciplinary Committee chaired by Special Secretary (Economic Affairs) to examine the existing framework with regard to Virtual Currencies.

The Committee to submit its report within three months

In recent times the government has warned against the use of btc or said to do it as per one risk. This can be a cautious approach from government side by stating that they had already warned people against it. This can go in both way as they can even ban it because they have already warned its users.
1110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good choice buying Litecoin? on: December 12, 2017, 11:20:33 AM
I also had a sad experience, I was told that the litecoin would cost more than $ 100, but I did not listen -_-

The pace at which it has moved during the last couple of weeks is being phenomenal. I was not expecting that this coin would do have so much demand that the price would start rising so quickly. Its has moved to 250$ and today itself it has risen by 50% approx. I would now stay away for a while and may buy it later.
1111  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: MERCATOX - Cryptocurrency and E-currency Exchange. E-wallet. P2P Exchange on: December 12, 2017, 05:53:47 AM
They stole 700$ worth of coins 2 days ago, told me they will check it and here i am still waiting for 2 days... oh and they blocked me from their trollbox for 10 days for complaining there ... probably scared their users with start withdrawing and running away

This is really sad to hear about it. I was planning in between to open a account but then due to some reason it just did not happened and it was a good decision if I see it now. In case if you have friends or somebody where their office is situated ask them to visit their place and get the clarification about what is happening due to which all such scenarios are being created.
1112  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is "cryptocurrency" a good term? on: December 11, 2017, 05:43:42 PM
Pretty sure you're a decade late if you were hoping to change the terminology Grin

Well now its not at all possible to change the name or do anything about it. Neither I think it was possible at the start because it was Satoshi who has created it and kept the name what he liked it or what he had understood.

OP - You can always have your view which is nice, but now all those who are in this field are associated with the terms that were derived.
1113  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: i heard bitcoin illegal in Taiwan...why? on: December 11, 2017, 03:48:04 PM
From what I can see, they're just reminding people that bitcoin is 'not legal tender' in Taiwan – just like everywhere. Now whether this implies illegality, or a ban, depends on where you live I suppose but I doubt they'll be shutting down any Taiwanese exchanges.Headlines like this have the potential to scare away investors, though.

In our country also they use the same which says its not a legal tender. This means that the banks cannot use this . Now does it also means that business cannot use it and if it happens than country is on its way to ban the cypto currency in their country. If it starts happening than many country may ban this currency.
1114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC $100000 this 2018? on: December 11, 2017, 03:43:18 PM
Its possible. The average daily growth over the last 8 years has been 0.52%. That will probably slow down but if it stays positive, the price will easily reach that number.

If considering from present price its 6 times it has to multiply to reach that $100000 in 1 year of time. Practically can it rise with the base of 16k to 100k in 1 year time. For me its not possible unless the whole world come together and make it a global tender. Infact on other side the countries may ban this and as a result the drop may come in place.
1115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STRATIS is the Next BIG THING! 102 DAYS TO TRUE MOON COUNTDOWN on: December 11, 2017, 05:35:47 AM
I am here to speculate Stratis also but I need to add that ethereum is something very special. There will never be 2nd ethereum. Don't think Stratis like that. Stratis is for high level businesses.

Actually I am also thinking that will really Stratis be the next ETH? It is quite impossible because everything can be only 1 and especially those are already leaders will lead and rest of them will just follow. If it happens or even reach anywhere close to ETH the project will be considered as highly successful as per my understanding
1116  Local / Mining (India) / Re: Altcoin Minning Farm In India on: December 10, 2017, 06:25:08 PM
I've done a 30Ghs setup for ETH. About 1600 GPUs in total.

If you'd like to collaborate with me then let me know.

Could you share the info where is this setup done and in how much total area it is occupied doing this mining? Also are you just mining ETH or some other coin as well? What is the total cost involved insetting up this unit? How much ETH do you min in a week/month?
1117  Local / India / Re: My predictions of bitcoin price in india in 2018 on: December 10, 2017, 06:20:04 PM
i think the above quoted rates are exorbitant, there is very nominal chances that these rates fly at such exorbitant prices, bcz with growing prices there is more risk involved with bitcoins, bcz people get more into the ecosystem of bitcoins and the government cannot tolerate that when people start devaluing the government currency, government simply ban all the transactions of bitcoins

Yes due to which I think many government may not support this ecosystem and they will decide to put an end of this. Due to this many countries citizens will stop using and thus the fall will take place as the demand will start to fall. Its nice if the rates fly what is mentioned but practically it seems difficult to reach nearby that level in 2018.
1118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment size on: December 09, 2017, 03:12:21 PM

When I started dealing with crypto-currencies I could not afford much, my initial capital was $ 100, but now it has grown many times and I hope that this is not the end

The size of the capital is not important because not every one has the same size of the money.  The important thing is that whatever you have you should invest in the right coin. And that investment will give you the best returns you can expect compared to anywhere if invested in any other financial instruments. So keep saving and invest as per your affordability and hold it Bitcoin will give you the best returns in coming year as well.
1119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 09, 2017, 09:45:49 AM
Today second test match between NZ and WI has started already. West Indies won the toss and elected to field first but NZ is doing quite good so far in this first innings. They already scored 173 runs and lost three wickets. I think NZ can easily score more than 400 runs in this innings which will be tough for WI team to score. Most likely NZ will this match comfortably.

WI came back strongly in the second half as NZ is now 287/7 at the end of the first day play. If WI can get them all out in 325 then the match is all set for the WI to be in the hunt for taking a lead in their first innings.  Tomorrow it would be a interesting day to see if WI can take quick wickets and bat well to ensure that they do not give up this game easily.
1120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you guys get big upcoming news about altcoins? on: December 09, 2017, 08:19:48 AM
Ideally you should read and follow all the best persons in the industries and the do your own reteach about the altcoins that you would be wanting to invest in. Always do not follow the crowd on their say, be self reliant to understand the benefits and future of any altcoin which can help you to invest in the right coin. You can follow some of them on twitter which keeps on updating the news related to cypto currency. Also do read the whitepaper of any altcoin to get more insightful understanding.
