It's a sideshow in jurisdictions I'm not involved in with BTC. Vote with your feet - litigious dealings aren't the future I want.
Unfortunately, litigation is part of doing business, especially in a place like the US.

I haven'ty gotten any payments as of today.
You should write to the pool operator, both here and by email.

Difficulty and hashrate aren't connected. Diff could be 1 or 100000, my rigs hashrate don't change.
It seems problem is solved meanwhile, i'm hashing like before.
You are quote right. In a haste, I misread your previous post. I think what is happening that they are averaging the last x minutes of hashing. If they show low hash rate for a long time, though, then it may be a reason to be concerned.

Same here, hashing 1/5 of normal value.
The difficulty went up recently.

I am not sure if I would call it cheating. In the case of Teracoins, some kind of algorithm that makes hash rates more even would actually benefit the entire community.
Not sure what you mean but IIRC the formulation in AoBPMRS treats difficulty changes properly, it will work even if the difficulty changes frequently. The question was how I came to this topic. The answer is that I was looking for some kind of algorithm (or even implementation) to hop to a different coin, as opposed to a different pool, when the difficulty goes up.

In my opinion it would kill terracoin as someone could point the full force of several rigs/asic as long as the difficulty is low. When it goes back up, they would switch to other currencies as it is no longer profitable to keep them running on terracoin. As soon as it goes away and everybody else is left working a lot for peanuts. Repeating this several times will grind terracoin to a halt.
If you follow the fluctuations in the hash rate of terracoins, it is already happening. So, instead of just a few people doing this, the entire community should do it. The result is that after some fluctuation, the difficulty would reach a more-or-less stable point, because the difficulty where profitability of terracoin is equal to the profitability of bitcoin is publicly known. Right now, the difficulty goes up to 60K and then down to 8K, and up again, etc. If people bailed out from mining already around 30-35K of difficulty, and returned when the difficulty is again below 30K (or at least a large portion of people would do that), then the equilibrium could be reached. Am I mistaken?

So why did you resurrect a dead thread on cheating?? Most pools conteract this...
I was thinking about what is the most "fair" reward system. I was interested on what others have written about the topic. Meni's paper on the topic (which I have yet to finish reading) struck me as more deep and thorough. I am not sure if I would call it cheating. In the case of Teracoins, some kind of algorithm that makes hash rates more even would actually benefit the entire community.

Do you know why rounds are taking now much longer even though the difficulty has not changed, and the hash rate is higher?

WOOOHOOOO !!!!!!!!!! Just got paid out... Checking to see if it arrives in my wallet... I was paid too. Finally.

Shortly after I mentioned here the pool that I switched to, the pool's web interface has come under what looks like a DDoS attack.
I do wonder if some people may be interested in discrediting certain pools or feathercoin altogether.
The pool has been compromised, the hackers are locking in their addresses... My address is locked in, and I've changed passwords, but theres no garauntees..
Right now I'm on feathercoin.is-a-geek.com, 950Mh, PPLNS, 0% fee running cgminer using stratum
What is the reason that people keep joining this pool? I see that the hash rate went from 200 to 400 over 24 hours.
I don't think it's a scam, but I don't think the admin has control.. He already made a statement not long ago that he was having problems with hackers.. looks like he still is... I will hope I get my coins confirmed and paid, at worst I've lost 24 hours mining.. My rigs are already pointed at another pool..
Which pool do you consider the best for FTC?
My account is gone.. Wiped off the system.. Looks like I just lost 200+ FTC.. If you are sure that it is a scam, you may also want to report this entire threat to the maintainer of the board, so that they will investigate what is going on.
MY ADDRESS WAS CHANGED !!!!! THIS POOL IS SCAM
My address was not changed (yet?), but I have not received a single FTC yet, although the pool operator wrote me to double-check my wallet address. What baffles me is that the posted mining rate of the pool seems to be constantly increasing. For the time being, I switched to http://fhc.ub3rl33t.comIf we keep mining for this pool, then the message will not get across that it is not reasonable to expect people to work for free.

I just checked to see what was happening because I didn't get a payout and somebody had changed my payout address to a different address I've changed it back and locked it but..... Until this pool is secure , I won't continue to mine here. The odd thing is that the hashrate of the pool seems to be constantly increasing, in spite of the non-payment.

payout payout Were you just paid, or are you worried about not having been paid?
14 hours ago receive a payout, thanks
Thank you for the info. Is there a specific time when you usually get paid?

Did anyone here received a payment in the last 24 hours?

I have read a lot about MS Afterburner, and the various settings that one can have on it. But there is one thing that I could not find any in-depth posting on:
How does it really work? Did anyone manage to analyze it with a disassembler?
I am particularly curious to know how AB circumvents the memory lock on HD 7970 cards, and allows for very low memory clock (and voltage) with high core clock.
