101  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitburner Fury - Hashrate Protection on: October 08, 2013, 08:57:33 AM
It's seems the hashrate protection is active. I ask them to add another board rather than € refund but they said boards already sold out for now and my order will ship in a few hours.

That's a shame.  I was hoping that 64+ GH/s might still be achievable.  Has burnin/cryptx confirmed that the boards will not do 64 GH/s ?

Tbh I rather take the 100 euros per board back than a few GH/s more. Best way to cut losses I think.
102  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: YIFU IS AUCTIONNING? on: October 02, 2013, 01:05:54 PM
There are currently no bids yet for this product.

I WONDER WHY?!?! Grin Roll Eyes
103  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: YIFU IS AUCTIONNING? on: October 01, 2013, 10:04:09 PM
how can you guys tell its Yifu?

Because instead of escrow he's using escrew.  E-Screw, The newest way to screw customers over.

No e-condom nor e-lube either, there... Shocked
104  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KNC, 100% of their hashing is currently going into their own pocket. on: October 01, 2013, 10:02:03 PM
... And I suppose some things are just unknowable.

Maybe it's related to Stockholm Syndrome? Or the battered wife thingy?

[As an aside: If you think a thread is dumb it's best to stop posting in it so that it can fall down the page!]

Mmm... I'm starting to see why you made this thread Grin
105  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KNC, 100% of their hashing is currently going into their own pocket. on: October 01, 2013, 09:58:18 PM
Well, I guess moderating is like politics... you don't get there without learning to troll with the best. In this case, a fine example of trolling if I may say so, looks like our esteemed politicomoderator decided to flex his trolling muscles a bit. They're like finely toned muscles too, you need to keep them in condition Grin

Yes, everyone who dares to say anything about KnC, even the moderator, is a low troll. Being happy about your KnC order is one thing, shilling hard for them is completely another. People should stop jumping over that line so easily, ask yourself is there some truth in gmaxwell's statement.

Oh come on put your reading glasses on and look at my previous posts in this thread. Then you might realise I already said my piece and am now just pulling yer leg(s) Wink

People are so serious these days...
106  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KNC, 100% of their hashing is currently going into their own pocket. on: October 01, 2013, 09:28:34 PM
You switched to "selective replies" only? You missed my questions.
I did? Really?  Of course, everyone here has free will, and if anything I think people's unwillingness to selectively read and reply contributes a lot to trolling around here. I certainly don't feel the need to respond point by point to every question, and none of you should either. If you feel I've missed something essential, please hit me up and PM and I'll reply more if I agree!

In any case, I don't see any evidence on testnet of KNC mining there. Bitcoinorama made a falsifiable claim which appear to me to be false. I'm just asking him to clarify here to avoid any confusion.

Cool, but what do you want to see?

The miner that they showed yesterday and various iterations that have banked an entire 1BTC earlier.

Aside from that there is the FPGA revisions that utilised testnet.

Asking Sam he said it's not a problem, when back in Stockholm it means asking one of the software engineers for access. App thousands of coins were found on testnet as the diff is so low there, rewards were easy. Customers demand real world evidence.

EDIT: idee2013 that's not KnC. No idea.
So what you are saying is the topic of this thread is a lie. I thought as much.

No. The topic of this thread is true and will remain true no matter what. Read it again. All of THEIR hashing is going into THEIR pockets Wink I will call this phrasing fine art trolling because it spreads FUD where it shouldn't.

107  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Bitfury ASIC sales in EU and Europe on: October 01, 2013, 09:19:16 PM
i just made a mistake with my h-board best.cnf file, and i may have saved the first chip to "545" instead of "54" because on reboot it read as 136 and 0.000 hashrate.

i fixed it to 54 and rebooted but the chip still appears unresponsive. any advice or tips? looks like voltage is still going to the chip, so did i ruin the chip or is it salvagable?

I would hate to think i accidentally crapped out the chip with this tuning attempt Sad

Don't worry, you can always remove it with a belt sander Grin
108  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: YIFU IS AUCTIONNING? on: October 01, 2013, 09:15:31 PM
Yifu made it pretty clear during the chip fiasco that:

1) He was not in control
2) He had zero influence over whether or not the guys in China shipped parts

Basically he is a glorified reseller only, and reseller with no control or influence over anything at that.

Why people would give him any more money is beyond me. He has no ability to get parts, influence pricing or specs, or anything. Worst he completely oversold who he is and what he could do. No one should ever trust him.
Is this true?

Of course it's true, YiFuck said it himself! Cool Roll Eyes Tongue
109  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: YIFU IS AUCTIONNING? on: October 01, 2013, 09:13:56 PM
He delivered the first REAL ASIC when other people were just selling pre-orders ...you should have a little respect.
You all talk about BFL but you still order from them!!! WTF!!! Have some balls!!! Bitcoin mining is all about balls and taking the decision and the risk when it should be taken...
In my case, i got my chips with 4 weeks delay, but i got them ....

Respect is earned, not demanded, kiddo. In this case, all the early bird "respect" went out the window after his multiple delays, lies, omissions and outright arrogance. He dug his own hole by not respecting his customers. You might want to check your nose in the mirror, it looks a bit brown Tongue

Grats on (useless by now) chips, tho Grin
110  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KNC, 100% of their hashing is currently going into their own pocket. on: October 01, 2013, 07:52:03 PM

I think he accepts your apology, You can probably get up off your knees and stop bowing before him also

Sarcasm is strong in this one... Grin
111  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitburner Fury - Hashrate Protection on: October 01, 2013, 03:56:09 PM
you just got fucked, no one took my warnings, now that KNC and BFSB started shipping, I am feeling more sorry for you guys, difficulty will go at least 250+% in a month or so

Your warning has no merit since these boards were the only way to get a 70% "refund". It was well known already that these are overpriced, but still better than wasting 50% of BitBurner (Avalon) board payments.
112  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: YIFU IS AUCTIONNING? on: October 01, 2013, 03:40:32 PM
It appears that you have to upload photo ID and utility bill, and then deposit bitcoins before you can even see the specs of the avalons that you are supposed to be bidding on....that's if they ever show you the specs at all...?

What's more is it appears to be a blind auction (ie you don't see any other bids).

Think I'll steer well clear of this...

Trololo! What utter garbage! YiFuck, you manage to surprise us every time -- and not in any positive way  Grin
113  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitburner Fury - Hashrate Protection on: October 01, 2013, 03:17:52 PM
2 things now:

1: KnC is shipping, starting tomorrow I guess. Bye bye any kind of profit from these overpriced boards. Kindly, fuck you, cryptx.

2: You better have a mining software ready for release.
114  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KNC, 100% of their hashing is currently going into their own pocket. on: October 01, 2013, 03:14:17 PM
how is this guy even a moderator?!?

Maybe because... http://bitcoin.org/en/development
115  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KNC, 100% of their hashing is currently going into their own pocket. on: October 01, 2013, 03:11:53 PM
Secondly, all prior testing was performed on the testnet as appropriate,
Which blocks did your employer mine on testnet?

Man, you sure sound bitter Shocked

Not defending the KnC shill either, but you're coming off as having a large beef with KnC. It can't be just that one device, so why? Undecided
116  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Bitfury ASIC sales in EU and Europe on: October 01, 2013, 03:08:53 PM
Time to reduce price, KnC is delivering petahashes of power starting tomorrow or so. Diff will skyrocket Wink
117  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KNC, 100% of their hashing is currently going into their own pocket. on: October 01, 2013, 04:16:27 AM
However true, I would criticise the timing of the OP  Grin. You have angered the natives, and it seems that as far as rational debate goes, you can choose between sacrificial heart eating and crucifixion.
Are you kidding? I'm perfectly happy to watch people with poor emotional control and interesting agendas show their true colors.

So, basically, you made this thread just to troll? A moderator? Sheesh...
118  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KNC, 100% of their hashing is currently going into their own pocket. on: September 30, 2013, 11:50:46 PM
Gmaxwell is right.

Likely not going to happen but it would be nice of them to do testing in the testnet.

He's right, and wrong, at the same time. A real heisen-comment Tongue

See, there's a large difference between a proof of a single working machine for all to see, and mining months and months with customer machines (Avalon), and flat out lying about shipping times, delays, inventory, really about everything (BFL).

gmaxwell is just nitpicking here. He should know better.
119  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KNC, 100% of their hashing is currently going into their own pocket. on: September 30, 2013, 11:30:49 PM
And letting BFL advertise here after all the lies, delays and outright fraud by BFL? Not slapping a ban on Josh when he's abusing their customers here?

I call double standards.

Sure, it's not the same as mining on mainnet to screw customers of ROI, but customers are fucked in either case.
120  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Leaving Negative Feedback for BitSyncom, Scammed on Trade-ins, Scammed on Chips, on: September 30, 2013, 01:27:07 AM
YiFuck needs the "SCAMMER" tag.
At least give the man a cool name,

Like Yi'Fu'koo(l)

or

Y'I Fuck'U?

YiFuck is so short and sweet, just like his noteworthy career in Bitcoin industry. It's so easy to lose one's reputation.

Besides, there's nothing cool about a lying cheating scammer.
