121  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Leaving Negative Feedback for BitSyncom, Scammed on Trade-ins, Scammed on Chips, on: September 30, 2013, 01:03:14 AM
YiFuck needs the "SCAMMER" tag.
122  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KNC Countdown for Shipment on: September 29, 2013, 03:26:39 PM
Not a single demonstration of a working device and shipping is supposed to start in less than 24 hours. There must be a delay of some sort.

Prepare to be YiFucked Wink
123  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Bitfury ASIC sales in EU and Europe on: September 29, 2013, 03:07:22 PM
@itod i don't see where -Redacted- insulted people on this thread.

Bitfury is a Russian product, and coming to this thread and saying that Russian things work better with only 1/2 the parts in place... Well if it is funny to you, it is not to me.

I suggest you grow a thicker skin, this is the internet after all Wink
124  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Redhash by TAV. A new 105 Gh/s ASIC miner. IN STOCK NOW! on: September 29, 2013, 03:04:30 PM
I hope you guys can scale properly.

I hope you don't get smeared by a taxi while crossing the street.

Why did YiFuck cross the street?
-Because he wanted to screw the miners on that side too!
125  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Redhash by TAV. A new 105 Gh/s ASIC miner. IN STOCK NOW! on: September 29, 2013, 11:30:31 AM
props for not doing that pre-order rubbish, thats all i have to say, this should be a moment positive reinforcement from the community...maybe it is the auction tension getting to everyone  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Nah, the thread was doing fine until YiFuck decided to show up with his false congratulations. Did he really expect people would lick his boots after all that he has done? What an arrogant asshole.

It'll be hard to shake that reputation, YiFuck...
126  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Klondike - 16 chip ASIC Open Source Board - Preliminary on: September 28, 2013, 10:29:36 PM
So after 157 pages is there a working Klondike available? It's a bit sad to see this Open Source Board fail.

I believe there is but the boards cannot be chained together yet.

If the price is right on Avalon's firesale gen1 chips, and if there are enough available, this project may get new life.

Buying anything from avalon after all that has happened is sheer foolishness.
127  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon turns One years old 28/09/2013 on: September 28, 2013, 10:26:53 PM
From what some folks have been saying (esp from the group buys), the guy goes from a hero to a goat in just a span of year.

It probably would be safe to say he's been the goat all along. Pulling such a long con takes a very conniving mind, though. Just watch his arrogance show every now and then, and you get a good look at the mind behind that goatee Wink

tl;dr only suckers buy avalon anymore
128  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The Chili – 30+GH/s BFL based Bitcoin Miner Assembly on: September 28, 2013, 10:17:02 PM
I'm confused... do we need to supply our own chips, or are you providing them?

What is the full cost of a board, all included, if you supply the ASICS? Where are you located at?

EDIT: it's quite impossible to buy chips for this at such a short notice, so it would be good to have an all-in-one board choice to buy.
At this time we aren't offering any completed boards for sale, you have to provide the BFL ASICs. If you don't have chips but are interested in making a purchase, email me and we can discuss lead time and what is possible.

Thanks for the answer. I'll pass, getting the chips to EU and then back to US (where I am guessing you're located) would take prohibitively long, or be ridiculously expensive Sad

Had you had completed boards for sale, I'd have snatched a few. Good luck to your venture Smiley

great work guys, this is what the mining community needs.

As opposed to your preorder garbage, delays, lies and arrogance?

Seriously, you still dare show your face out here, you lying cheating piece of shit? For real.
131  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Redhash by TAV. A new 105 Gh/s ASIC miner. IN STOCK NOW! on: September 27, 2013, 07:25:09 PM
This is old Avalon tech? Is the stuff about it being way too late for old Avalon chips to ROI just FUD?
In the K16 threads everyone seems to have decided some time ago those old chips are useless/worthless now. Are they wrong?

-MarkM-

Our customers should be able to achieve ROI (by some reasonable difficulty increase estimates and at least at the starting bid of 15 BTC), because TAV is selling these units below their manufacturing cost, even below the raw Avalon chips cost.

This is the price of doing things rights by not taking pre-orders. We take financial risks, so that our customers don't have to.

I simply can't applaud this too much. Other manufacturers, take note.

The only bad thing in this is that you guys have to take a heavy loss because of Yifu's idiocy.
132  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Redhash by TAV. A new 105 Gh/s ASIC miner. IN STOCK NOW! on: September 27, 2013, 12:03:26 PM
Congratulations on a project well done. Too bad Avalon's delays have screwed you over just as badly as everyone else Sad
133  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitburner Fury - Hashrate Protection on: September 25, 2013, 11:33:33 AM
OK, thanks for the info. Would you be able to send customers a quick email when the power requirements are nailed down too, so that we can get appropriate PSUs in place?

We will sent it asap when we have final numbers. I understand the urgency.

No hurry dudes, you already priced out any profit us miners could make from this shit. All smooth sailing from here Roll Eyes

Good luck with your mining farm!  /sarcasm off
134  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitburner Fury - Hashrate Protection on: September 25, 2013, 12:30:51 AM
Very pity about the greedy assholes behind the cryptx name you mean?

Do take note that they gouge money out of us who are in a pinch to get at least something back from the Avalon fiasco, then turn around and use that money to build their own hashing farm to make sure we'll never even break even.

Every vendor seems set to screw everyone as hard as they can.

yadda yadda FREE MARKET 101 yadda yadda

if im missing something, please fill me in...

Yeah indeed you're missing some crucial things that would have saved you from looking like a bumbling dullard - like actually knowing what you're talking about. I suggest the next time you feel like trying to lecture someone, you do your research on the topic first. Will save you from embarrassment in the future Wink

tl;dr learn to read
135  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Poll] Burnins BitFury miner on: September 20, 2013, 08:32:56 PM
Unless you know what CryptX is paying burnin for the boards (and how much he is paying for the chips) you (or I) have no idea whether he is greedy or not.

Burnin's earlier estimate of 470 eur per board can't be that far off the mark. He's an electronics designer by trade, and I am quite sure he can make accurate estimates.

Quote
Sure I'm disappointed with the price, but I have no idea whether that's due to CryptX being greedy,

That is the most likely party to point fingers at.

Quote
burnin being greedy,

burnin has stated several times his margins are quite low. Of course he's not provided exact numbers, but f.ex. looking at his BitBurner XX design and how cheap it is, it's a good comparison. EDIT: that 470 eur price was chips included, which we know to cost 360 eur per board. So 110 eur per bare board + components + design + assembly etc. Add maybe 30-40 euro max per board for unforeseen cost increases and we're still at a reasonable price.

Quote
the Bitfury chips being more expensive than expected,

The prices have been well known. 22,5 eur per chip. A big buyer (more than a few reels?) might even get volume discounts.

Quote
the boards being more compciated than expected

burnin stated that the price rose somewhat, which I've earlier taken to mean maybe 30-40 eur per board, max.

I prefer not to speculate without information.)

We have plenty information if you bother to look for it.
136  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Poll] Burnins BitFury miner on: September 20, 2013, 08:25:22 PM
I don't see how burnin can win here - whatever he does there will be people in these forums that will rip him to pieces.  I quite understand why he doenst want to deal with the forums and would rather leave them to soeone else.

I don't have an issue with burnin. I doubt he's any happier than us how cryptx makes a stinking mess of the good name and image of his designs. My issues all lie squarely with cryptx, who are greedy price gougers. Their margins probably are way more than what burnin gets, and that's typical of profiteering middle men who actually bring no added value to the table.

UPDATE 16/09/2013

Hashrate protection

These refunds will be given when the tested hashrate of the board is below 64 GH/s:

  • 100€ refund for each board
  • 600€ refund for each 8 boards unit

BTW, who will test the boards for hashrate guarantee?

Is the refund in cash, or store credit? Mind, if you've paid with BitPay, there's already around 10% conversion loss from BTC -> EUR.

Have you bought one?

I kinda had to make an order to get at least some money back from my canceled BitBurner XXs...

Hmm, in another topic you claimed to have some info about another distributor that you couldn't disclose and now you made order from cryptx yourself? Starting to feel like those rumors by a couple users were just to prevent everyone from ordering from cryptx.

I never claimed I had info on another distributor. I just had an email from burnin which he asked me to not disclose, so that's that. I do wish, however, that there'd be another distributor with sane pricing.

I had a 15 board BitBurner XX order in earlier, and I had to choose if I'd want to lose 30% or 50% of that money. You do the math. And since they don't do partial refunds, I had to order 2 boards to cover the full cost of the "refund". Seriously, stop being paranoid.

*IF* the price had been reasonable, I'd have put in an order for 15-20 boards, but as it is, the price is ridiculous, so I didn't
138  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitfury USB miners "in-hand" & price reduced - Ave 2.3Gh/s on: September 20, 2013, 03:24:15 PM
Can I buy just one for 1.4BTC?

I would buy "just one" too for the novelty value. These won't ever make their cost back, but I'd love to have one.

Can you point me in the direction of any current hardware that will make a profit unless we see a monumental increase in the $/BTC conversion rate?

Conversion rate is irrelevant since you're selling these for BTC. Some current products (most notably KnC and some bitfury based ones) might produce some profit. But that wasn't the point.

As miners thats what we count on because in the ASIC world, we will never see an early Avalon batch 1 or early delivery BFL mini rig again.

I agree, those times are gone. Doesn't change the fact this stick won't produce its cost back though, which makes it a novelty/one off item Wink

As for buying together... nah, too much trust issues at the moment in general. I'll wait till these are sale 1 at a time, thanks.

u wanna buy or not Albert?
we are not discussing relativity here,
I am selling bf1's,
u dont want, move on,
simple

Oh dear, did I strike a nerve or something? Hey, don't worry be happy yo Smiley

You don't wanna sell, that's ok. Some other time, poppy Smiley
