41  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Bitfury ASIC sales in EU and Europe on: November 08, 2013, 06:38:37 PM
Dear All

I deeply apologize for the delay in delivery of your orders. Hopefully the people responsible for this fu*kup have been sacked. I will refund everyone who paid for express and we will review our shipping pricing policy.
[...]
Have a good weekend, and once again my apologies for this shipping fukup. I'll contact you all for refunds after weekend.

And this, dear ASIC vendors, is how you do "customer service". Take note.

42  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Work in progess] Burnins Avalon Chip to mining board service on: November 08, 2013, 07:23:10 AM
With 0 money i can buy exactly 0 chips to put on boards to mine coins for refunds.
So that means the only way of selling new boards is run a preorder batch.

...
Would anyone be interested in reasonably priced fury boards?
I would have to gather enough orders for one reel though.
Depending on the expected date of delivery, I would pay between 1.8BTC(available today, so no preorder) and 0.1BTC(available in 90 days).
The price is my estimate of running for 90 days before breaking even(that's how I calculate a selling price if I am selling bitcoin hardware).

Suppose you can have boards ready to be shipped December 1, I would be willing to pay 0.95BTC per board and would preorder and pay 25 to 30 boards today. The order would include 3 power supplies, 3 Raspberries, spacers and can bus cables.
There you go, 400 chips, 2600 to go Wink

Who else, come on guys, burnin did a great job and deserves support.

Count me in, I'll take 10 boards at the conditions BenTuras proposed!  Cool

2440 chips to go. Who else?

I'd be in for 28 boards at those conditions.

1992 chips to go. Who else?

Avalon stated that the chips are fully compatible with gen1. Does that mean one can reflow them into 1st gen BitBurner without changing anything else?

The chips aren't pin compatible, so no.

In other words, YiFuck lied. Again.

Edit. To be honest, I miss the ancient times when the one convicted was getting his right hand chopped off. On next evidence - his left hand...

Yeah, because mutilation is a fitting punishment for a minor property crime! Oh, wait...

Good thing is, people like you don't decide the punishments anymore. It's called progress.

Yes, it is a progress in its definition. By the way, what progress did to the people in last ten-fifteen years? Just ask 100 people in the street how much is nine by seven.
You will be shocked.

No, it is not a progress, it is progress. As in, we have progressed past the point when mutilation was accepted as a fitting punishment for such minor crimes. And for good reason.

For the rest, what does that have to do with mutilation? Do you suggest we start cutting body parts off people who fail at mathematics too?

I was gonna say he's lost them, but it doesn't explain the lock being cut

Or, the luggage handling machine managed to snap/break/whatever the lock, and the chips fell out because the package was small, while the larger things didn't?

Sounds too far fetched that a thief only would steal some chips... 4 chips cost, what, 60 euros at the moment...

There is only one problem: It will take about 4 weeks. Then the energy costs will be higher than the earnings.

Maybe you can use the waste heat for house heating then? Put the radiator inside the house etc.
50  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX16B(Bitfury based) 16 chip board design on: October 31, 2013, 10:29:50 AM
Initial price about 450 EUR ( to be confirmed)

VAT included in that price?
51  Economy / Auctions / Re: [FAST AUCTION] 8 Bitburner Fury boards ~50 GH/s IN HAND on: October 31, 2013, 09:47:51 AM
Winning bids so far:

solosequenasenada 2x3.1
Photon939 2x3.2
Shapemaker 1x3.2
Shapemaker 1x3.5
Photon939 2x3.7

Since zulover's bids were canceled, that means my 1 x 3.5 BTC bid was unnecessary and my current bid goes back to 2 x 3.2 BTC.

... and in all fairness's case, Photon's bids should be adjusted back to the levels before the 2 guys with canceled bids showed up. Therefore the list should be, as far as I can discern:

solosequenasenada 4x3.1
Photon939 2x3.2
Shapemaker 2x3.2

Hopefully in few days.

How much do you reckon they'll be priced at (with or without the chips)?

Probably very close to or more than what they will return in their lifetime.
54  Economy / Auctions / Re: [FAST AUCTION] 8 Bitburner Fury boards ~50 GH/s IN HAND on: October 30, 2013, 04:34:21 PM
Second thought, please  cancel my last bid I'm out!

In that case my bid becomes

1 x 3.5 BTC
55  Economy / Auctions / Re: [FAST AUCTION] 8 Bitburner Fury boards ~50 GH/s IN HAND on: October 30, 2013, 03:07:57 PM

So in summary it seems worthless to try having A CONVERSATION on this forum because people are here for the bitch-fest, not the decent content and engaging conversations.

Use that "ignore" button, and you'll have a much more pleasant experience here. Start with Inaba.
