I had to try really hard not to laugh at this while at work

Silly rabbit! Slow and steady.
Why would you think that is their goal?

Nice bidwall @ Coin

Long are super cheap right now, like half the previous low. Shorts are getting cheaper, but still not that low.
326  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 03, 2015, 09:32:59 PM
Bitstamp is acting really funny. So is bitfinex. What is it with the zigzagging when the price starts to move? Reminiscent of Gox.
327  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 03, 2015, 02:26:16 PM
NOT ENOUGH SHORTS...you should short MORE...otherwise we will not go to 0 and you will not MAXIMIZE PROFIT...bears said we will NOT go higher -> there is no better opportunity

FULL MAX LEVERAGE SHORT

This guy gets it. Short to oblivion, then never close the shorts so you aren't forced to take a loss when it rebounds. Remember, it's not a loss until you buy back.
328  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 02, 2015, 11:02:24 PM
Finex shorters getting absolutely massacred (assuming this rise ISNT shorts closing)

panic sell at 224.96$
Considered it myself but I dont think this BFX wall is gonna go down. If it does go down, well, maybe I'll be selling $5 below ya lol

That wall was entirely eaten, but selling now may not be a good idea, I'd wait for the rebound.
There should be at least 8h between the rebound and a possibly lower local bottom for buy back.

Yeah, it looks like a good chunk of the selling was shorts, too. Back up to ~20k from the 12k low in the past 2 days or so.

Pump it is, I cancelled my low bids and panic bought at 230$. 1h PSAR flipped and at this pump rate 1h MACD should flip soon too.
Cry

They're dumping on us again
332  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 31, 2015, 08:44:55 PM
I have a question for you guys:

You own 5k bit-coins. What do you do? Serious question.

I'd probably cash 4k of them and hodl the remaining 1k

Same. I'd definitely want to hodl a percent just in case.

Y'all got any of them trade cancellations  Cheesy? Finex being a meany again, tryin to dump right after I buy

BearFX has been steadily refilling asks/applying sell pressure all day. It's getting a bit old, really
Half true for the bids though, too. Very odd.

Finex really wants to test $220.
337  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 30, 2015, 12:14:58 AM
Its hilarious how quiet this thread goes when the price is rising compared to when it falls $10. Just trolls left = confirmed.
Uhh, thats because the price isnt doing anything right now. No volume.
338  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 29, 2015, 11:11:14 PM
Chinese should be waking up now.  Wonder what they plan to do
Seems like they're going to dump. Wonder how long before the finex buy walls disappear.

If those disappear, it will be immediatly as those buy walls are fake as has been seen my multiple people in this thread today. We are nearing 8 AM China Time, so if there's gonna be a move it will be there in the next 60 to 90 minutes. I already see some careful movement downwards, just the way the other dumps started before the 8 AM mark.

They arent fake.. theyve already been sold in to.  Roll Eyes
FUD

The 8-hour rule is good for developing habit of disciplined trading. Makes you think at least 8 hours ahead Smiley
No one can truly predict markets in such a way, so it doesnt make much sense in my opinion. Obviously, OP is just doing this for free and doing 100s of trades a day would be absurd. But, if someone buys at $240 and then immediately after a 30k ask wall were to appear, I dont see why they "shouldnt" be able to sell if they want to.
340  Economy / Speculation / Re: [Trading Simulator] A fun & free Speculation Game - 60 participants on: January 29, 2015, 05:15:26 PM
SELL  0.32175 at $226.43 = $72.85

Apparently I suck at day trading...

Me too. I'm either super lucky or good with high frequency trading though.. managed to increase altcoin holdings like 500%, then lost 98% because I couldn't predict the impending altcoin bubble pop and tried to catch the falling knife. Oops!
