700BTC buy in finex.

I feel pretty confident. Thank fuck I took in a long position yesterday at $465.

Looks like net=0 on that. Sell of 683 followed by a Buy of 683. Unlikely its just a coincidence.
1023  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 04, 2014, 02:48:00 PM

Now everyone is confused again. Rally over?
1024  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 04, 2014, 02:43:30 PM
Interesting. I was convinced $350 would happen, but this is a moderately strong rally.

LMAO@ Random 500BTC dump, followed by a 100BTC buy. No one will even notice you, mr. dumper.
1025  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ethereum still has 27k more coins to dump! on: September 03, 2014, 03:57:00 PM
What the hell is an ethereum and why do they have so many coins? Why do you think they want to sell?

https://www.ethereum.org/

Presold ethers for Bitcoin. Converting to fiat.

How the hell did they get 30k bitcoins?

Seems like stupid and unnecessary risk. Anyone who believes $450 is a good price should believe $500 is too. That is why I doubt this is a manipulative push down.. *But it very well may be.
1028  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 02, 2014, 10:00:07 PM
Someones testing the walls... haven't been pulled yet; 200 eaten

Chartbuddy glitch or bit stamp glitch?
1030  Economy / Speculation / Re: What possible events would make bitcoin go to $0? on: August 29, 2014, 08:20:31 PM
It's built into the fundamentals of Bitcoin that once it attains a value, that value can only go up.

You'll need to define what you mean by "value" here, because Bitcoin has attained a value in the past that is much higher than its current value.

The fundamentals regard the technical aspects of the coin, not the human element, which is responsible for the price action.

Of course there are and always will be external elements. Market manipulation, hysteria and mania, technical glitches, trading bots etc. But the law of mathematics backing Bitcoin is that, when something has a value and is deflationary, that value cannot but go up. So as long as Bitcoin is used, it will have a value and that value, fundamentally speaking, can only increase in time. As like the value of fiat money that is inflationary, fundamentally speaking, can only decrease in time

So... you arent answering the question at all? You're just saying all sorts of happy thoughts for no real reason?

1031  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 29, 2014, 08:18:46 PM
Still cant move up.. not good

1k of the original 3k ask wall is still staggered along to 520.
1032  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 29, 2014, 02:39:06 PM
I think it's obvious why I just went to this thread... the ask wall! What are the most probable explanations? Adam just mentioned we don't seem to know the reason? And why is the bid wall fake and the ask wall isn't? Has it been put up in order to counter that big ask wall?

The bid wall has followed the ask wall within 5usd all the way from $515 down to $500 now.

The ask wall originally appeared fake, but about a third has sold and it's still there. You can watch the bid wall flee every time the price drops, and move up as it rises. A serious buyer would not do this.

It's possible the bid wall is there on order to entice buyers to eat the ask wall.

Regardless, the ask walls on bitfenix, okcoin, and bit stamp total about $2m USD, so even if all of it is eaten... That's a lot of the current buying power gone. Rocket seems unlikely.
1033  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 29, 2014, 02:08:25 PM
That would be the idea but doesn't appear to be what's happening.
1034  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 29, 2014, 01:50:55 PM
1k  eaten I think, and the bidwall appears fake.
1035  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 29, 2014, 05:33:52 AM
What exactly is that whale on bitfinix with the 1300+ wall trying to do, keep prices down?

They sold 400+ already. It's real.
1036  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 29, 2014, 03:06:47 AM
Bidwall continuing to creep back. This makes no sense. The bidwall... cant be the same guy with the ask walls, because he would happily have it sold in to..

But.. whats the point of the bids, if fake, knowing that at any moment someone may panic and take it...?

I'mm track these.. (this is all the bids that keep coming up and moving, but two are never placed at once)

$502.82   814.92828467   $409,762.24

$503.44   741.03474571   $373,066.53

$503.46   949.23518500   $477,901.95

$504.35   795.27344622   $401,096.16

$504.16   813.91703336   $410,344.41

This bot man.. wtf? it doesnt make sense.
1037  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 28, 2014, 11:57:08 PM
Honestly, with the fall on BFX not getting eaten or removed.. I'm more inclined to believe this is real. It still makes no sense though, as to why the bidwall is following the askwall down..
1038  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 28, 2014, 09:39:02 PM
Nope, if they wanted to sell, there are bidwalls flashing on bitstamp too. They'd take them.. for $1 less than they were asking.

(Bid wall as large as 2k has flashed at $509)
1039  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 28, 2014, 09:36:14 PM
the fail of Gox makes me wonder if the last 3 bubbles were all driven by Gox, now that Gox has failed we didn't see any bubble, isn't possible that Mark artificially pumped the price ?

Edit: this means that he was out of money for a long time, so he decided to add Litecoin as a new source of money... everything is possible

Yes, this is what the willy bot did.. spent hundreds of millions of dollars, that didnt exist, to artificially inflate the price, to buy real bitcoins.

Then, they became insolvent. Where are the bitcoins? Who knows..

Ask wall going down soon?
