Mega bulltrap incoming
1103  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 12, 2014, 06:38:08 PM
are we going full bear soon? where is the BOUNCE? Undecided

I don't think, we again got support around 560, but bounce is not that kind like before.
So we have to wait more now for bounce back the price to 590-600 level.

that's the thing -- last time off 560 we bounced hard and fast. this time, nothing. struggling. tells me support is not strong here anymore. Undecided

There is NO support, expect the next couple months of slowly dipping prices. Come back at the end of Fall if you want some action.

Correct. This is a steady drop when you look at the 1 year charts. My guess is a $350 bottom.

So, BFX + Huobi orderbooks are absolutely cleared on the bid side and also notably worse on the ask side.

Bitstamp bid sum is actually up, BUT still abysmal at just under 9mUSD.

There is very little recovery going on here. Another low within 24hrs would be a rare occurrence (lately the market always has a bulltrap), but I think it might happen, without the bull trap.
1105  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 12, 2014, 12:59:25 AM
Wow, OkCoin WTF LOL its almost $10 below Huobi.
1106  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 11, 2014, 10:06:15 PM
Didn't LTC get massacred by a half just before last big BTC run up ?

Yep: (Sorry for bad crop job )

1107  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 11, 2014, 10:02:16 PM
lol, litecoin is going down.....
fuck my, just bough  zeusminers....

Capitulation just occurred on Okcoin.  It's going up from now on. it won't remain under 40 CNY for long, enjoy cheap coins  Cheesy.
It wasn't capitulation. Litecoin downtrend is not over yet. I think we will see $4.5 - $5 before its over. Right now its just consolidating in preparation for another crash.

It isn't over for bitcoin yet either.  More dumping could follow.

Litecoin is getting murdered. Wowowowowowowow!!!

Wow! Ouch! Down like 15%

Anybody else's phones do this with the bid walls?

Its not your phone. Bitcoinity is broken & does this all the time. Occasionally it is a legit wall removal, OR a view of whats going to happen before it happens. (Sometimes, the walls go down before the ticker shows any sells.. sometimes 30 seconds or more ahead)
1109  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 11, 2014, 07:29:37 PM
Theres the asks. Down it is.
1110  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 11, 2014, 06:20:07 PM
Oh Jesus guys, sell sell sell and keep it low for the next month.

Why??

Because we all love cheap coins.

Protip: good traders buy on the way down and sell on the way up.

How many more years do you want Bitcoin to go down exactly?
You've had 5 years for cheap coins. Wasn't that enough?
Do you realize you will make money if people stop selling all the time and the price goes up?

If the price goes up because no one sells, it will be unstable. Sellers are needed. Lets see how well the market holds with a 10m bidsum at $10,000.

Sorry. Doesn't make any sense.

Sorry, it does. You want the market to float up because there is no selling pressure. That -> no support -> will crash

Only 2.5k to 600. Looks like a great time to break it.

Yep. Give this an hour and if the asks dont spike up towards 22k, its going back up.
1113  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 11, 2014, 05:51:21 PM
This is nice to see. Finally continuing on to $300.

Oh get real. You know it'll never go that low Smiley

I know nothing! I only say what I think is going to happen. I've been saying $300 for a long time now.

A few more weeks of dumps like this and I might agree with you. But after a week of day trader p&d playtime with noobs? Not likely.

Support in the 400s is far too strong.

600 Bidwall added to $560
300 bidwall added to ~$550
1000 added to ~$450
(all just happened)

It may never happen :O

This is nice to see. Finally continuing on to $300.

Why the hell would that be nice?
It would be the worst thing ever for Bitcoin at this point.

Because its been floating around $580 yet there is nothing to support that.

Oh man 3600 is so close to falling :O
1119  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 08, 2014, 10:53:07 PM
monkey says down

Your monkey dun' broke. Definitely up!

Edit: Actually, I'm not that confident. But I think it should make another move up a few dollars at the minimum (even if its only to $595 again)
1120  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 08, 2014, 02:18:08 AM
nahh 2k+ coins wall up to there
I remember the days when we'd see 10k buys, one after the other.

A 2k wall seems so pathetic in comparison.

Biggest single volume ever was a 15k market sell.. at $95... only $1.5m USD

Biggest volume ever in a period of time was 24th June
Nearly 100k volume in ~3hrs

Today a 2500BTC market order would be equivalent. And of course, 15k was still absurd then, so 2500BTC should be today, too.
