21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Between new tokens and old tokens, which would you invest into? on: January 30, 2024, 10:35:21 PM
My choice will be on both, particularly when it comes to old tokens. I'll go with those on the top list, and for the new tokens, I'll analyze and go with the better ones that fulfill most of the requirements and have a minimum viable product. In the past, it used to be very simple to launch a project and generate revenue, but now it is really tough, and the uniqueness determines the success of the project. Whatever the scenario, I prefer investing in low-priced tokens to those placed at a higher value.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paying with Bitcoin. on: January 30, 2024, 08:55:40 PM
It’s not wrong to use Bitcoin as an exchange for goods and services. Bitcoin is both an asset and a currency, sadly many people see it only as a asset and completely disregard the currency part. If we don’t use Bitcoin as money, how do you expect Bitcoin to have mass adoption? Companies and small businesses will have no motivation to add Bitcoin as a payment method if they don’t have enough patronage. I expect bitcoiners to take advantage of opportunities that gives them the chance of buy and pay for stuff with bitcoins.
The reason behind the innovation is to serve as an alternate to the momentary system and take away the intermediary. Due to the tremendous growth of cryptocurrency, people started to prioritize bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as assets rather than a medium of exchange. In some countries, it is possible to see increased acceptance of bitcoin in specific locations, whereas the same isn't happening all around due to different governments having different opinions on cryptocurrency usage. It takes time for a massive transition.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paying house rent with bitcoin is it appropriate? on: January 30, 2024, 08:49:02 PM
Glancing through the article https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-rent-agreement-argentina-landlord-tenant one would conclude adoption is striving in Argentina. Paying for a house with bitcoin sounds to me a mistake or lack of financial knowledge. Bitcoin is better than Fiat. Bitcoin increases in value and fiat faces inflation. Why then would one spend Bitcoin instead of fiat on a house rent which may expire in few years? Accommodating the Bitcoin can birth the person more money to pay his next house rent. But fiat wouldn't add any interest in the bank. Moreover the house owner will not hold the Bitcoin.
What if you pay rent with bitcoin and the Bitcoin drops to half of the initial deposit? Like play a $300 rent with bitcoin and immediately he reacieve it, it  fell by %20and later futher drop and he losses, so I think it has the negative and the positive side. don't only tell us the positive side and neglecting the negative side. I think Bitcoin is for personal investment and not what to use anyhow if your. Instead you na sell your Bitcoin to fiat .
House owner has to pay bitcoins monthly which will equal $100, it's not a fixed monthly payment in Bitcoin, it's USD value converted to Bitcoin. I think that in this deal the person who pays for the rent buys Bitcoin on exchange and sends it to the house owner or he hopes that the price will go up and he will pay less and fewer Bitcoins each month. I think that first version is the correct, he converts USD to BTC and pays the rent. This deal will be done to gain attraction and write a history, just like our Bitcoin Pizza order has happened.
Paying a fixed monthly rent in terms of bitcoin seems to be good. It seems to be a wise decision, so the sender will make a calculation based on the particular day's market value and send it in the form of bitcoin. This won't affect the receiver as well as the tenant. A fixed amount in bitcoin doesn't seem to be fair because, in the bearish trend, tenants might pay less, but the rent paid in the bullish trend will be quite high. Everything depends on mutual agreement between the two, and these kinds of activities help in the real-time acceptance and circulation of bitcoin in day-to-day life.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the challenges people who accept bitcoin face in their businesses face on: January 30, 2024, 08:40:47 PM
Another reason I discovered less acceptance of cryptocurrencies in my country is the lack of support for businesses from the government. We don't have any official information from the government about whether cryptocurrency usage is legal or not. In such a situation, when we make a sign of cryptocurrency acceptance to attract customers, the same could be problematic for the businessman. For this reason, we weren't able to see many places accepting bitcoin in my country.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Relationship Between Cryptocurrency and Traditional Banking on: January 30, 2024, 08:30:24 PM
Traditional banks lose their revenue not to the cryptocurrency but to third parties. What they say is different from reality. Most often, we see banks revealing revenue differences between two financial years and that the decrease in revenue is due to the growth of cryptocurrencies, which is a false statement. Traditional banks never go down if they're well managed. When advancement is incorporated with traditional banking, the growth will automatically be high. Some banks have begun to follow it with the addition of cryptocurrency-related services. This is a kind of mutual growth that benefits the common people who use the same platform for all their needs.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready for the Bitcoin bull market? What's your plan? Some ideas for you on: January 30, 2024, 08:23:27 PM
I don't have any bitcoin holdings, so I'm ready for the bull market. I have been trying to accumulate little by little, but I wasn't able to do it. At some point, I was in a situation to spend, and I completely used it. Soon after the previous halving, I decided to hold and accumulate until the 2024 halving, but the financial requirements during the same period as the earnings weren't that good due to COVID. Making more sources of income will help us save more and hold it for the long term.
27  Economy / Economics / Re: The savings problem on: January 21, 2024, 11:59:52 PM
It depends, according to me, the growing technology keeps people under control and gives them the opportunity to save and spend less as well as spend everything. In simple terms, through the smartphone, everyone is being tracked, and we've been triggered to buy things through social media platforms. We just make a search for a product, and then onwards we keep on watching ad's related to it all over the social media platforms. At some point, we think, Let's buy it. This, through some means, affects savings and makes people spend more.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the view of an average citizen About crypto currencies on: January 16, 2024, 12:18:00 AM
One thing I want you to understand bitcoin is meant for a digital market and it is not meant to compete with the traditional currency so but when people think that why bitcoin come into existence is because it's want to take over the existence of traditional currency which has been in existence for long period of time, so that is why many people seen Bitcoin like what is good because it has its own privacy and it owns security and the investing on it you are sure of your investment based on nobody monitors it for you except to you
The traditional fiat system have got many flaws and bitcoin with the blockchain technology made people understand well about value of money and people realised that we should have control over our money. As said the system is developed as an alternate and there is no talk of replacing the traditional fiat. The purpose for which bitcoin got innovated took a different turn when people started to prioritise it as a means of investment asset than currency.
29  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not a means to an end, Do it for fun and don't take it as a job on: January 15, 2024, 11:59:47 PM
It'll be enjoyable when you're on the winning side. The same turns away when your win goes away. So, it is always good to consider gambling as fun and not as a means of making money. Always have your limits and enjoy gambling if your lucky to win something out of it. Don't follow your wager to recover what you've lost or do get greedy just because you were able to book some profit.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The risk and reward of having Bitcoin on: January 15, 2024, 11:57:31 PM
The risk is the security, and the governments. The security issues were almost solved with the existence of more wallets that help with different security features. With the governments we can't be sure, as they want to have control over the uncontrollable asset. For this they keep on trying different things to restrict people from using it. The reward is something assured for the risk we take. In particular what we hold unlike the market situation and different manipulation gives you with the best.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing altcoins now or during halving? on: January 15, 2024, 11:41:07 PM
At some point the bitcoin growth gets stagnated and the altcoins used to bounce. This is where we can understand that the altcoins season have begun. It is really difficult to precisely point the transition. Market observers find it perfect, if not we should just invest now on low price altcoins and wait for the rise of bitcoin. There will be mutual growth and if market isn't supportive we should hold or have the knowledge to participate in trading.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your altcoin holding with low value on: January 15, 2024, 11:38:04 PM
Rather than selling at low values it is good to hold taking the risk. This is what I've learnt from my past days of holding altcoins with low price. As most users mentioned the airdrop and other bounty tokens used to bounce and they used to drop down in value. Some used to have good backing team and the growth and development used to happen in a gradual manner. We need to be lucky enough to have such tokens and have the mind to hold and enjoy profit in the long run.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your Favorite Altcoin and Why? on: January 15, 2024, 11:35:25 PM
In the mentioned chart, my choice is Ethereum and Litecoin. The growth of both the coins were to happen big. For now the price of Litecoin is really good that anyone can invest. With Ethereum it have grown and based on the backing it is predicted to reach much higher value in the long term. Litecoin following the footprints of bitcoin never serves to be a failed one, so my choice falls on it.
34  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Buying More Tickets To Increase Your chances on: January 14, 2024, 11:19:25 PM
More tickets doesn't increase the winning, it is kind of a way to keep the gamblers motivated to wager more and increase their number of tickets. I've come across this kind of lottery pick where the user with just one ticket won $5000, whereas the gambler who had more tickets didn't win a prize. So, increasing the number of tickets is just for our satisfaction.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We dont own enough bitcoin on: January 14, 2024, 09:08:19 PM
The limited supply of bitcoin makes people feel that even the small fractions we were able to hold are enough. It takes time for people to realize the market and get into it. Anyone who doesn't have much technical knowledge will surely find it different when something with a virtual presence is mentioned as having value. When it was available at a low price, people weren't aware of it, but when people became aware of its growth, it had grown much higher, and common people were able to buy and hold small fractions. The rich can afford to buy much, and they're enjoying it to the fullest.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Succeeded in introducing Bitcoin to a friend on: January 14, 2024, 08:52:41 PM
From the story, I feel like the two friends were from a third-world country, and one had experience learning in Canada. According to my understanding, the person who is studying in Canada and is back home for vacation or some other purpose could've known much about bitcoin, but he hadn't shown interest. Looking at the bitcoin the friend has in his wallet, he could've gotten interest and started to accumulate. As a result, an investment of $520 in bitcoin was made. According to me, being in Canada and not exposed to bitcoin is difficult, so this is just a story.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as P2P currency vs Bitcoin as an asset on: January 14, 2024, 08:43:32 PM
The growth bitcoin has achieved in a short period of time has made people prioritize bitcoin mainly as an asset rather than a P2P currency. Maybe the global adoption and increase in acceptance would change the mentality of people and let them prioritize bitcoin as a currency over investment.

Just think of the price of an X product priced at $100 when the price of Bitcoin is $45000, and the same product will be priced at $100 when the price of Bitcoin is $40000. This makes a difference in the amount spent on the same product at different times. This means two people buying it at different times using bitcoin could've paid a higher and a lower price for the same product. People don't accept it, and for this reason, it is often considered an investment asset.

39  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: December 10, 2023, 11:52:48 PM
If Al Nassr won against Al Hilal in the previous match (matchday 15), they actually will have a better competition for the SPL trophy. Unfortunately, they got a big defeat, the missed the chance to shorten the point gap. So, it becomes more difficult for Al Nassr to compete for the title. However, I think AL Nassr still has the chance to be the champion if they can keep winning until the end of the competition. They must avoid to get a draw or more losses, the chance becomes smaller if AL Nassr experience bad results again.

Al Hilal is unbetable, they also look stronger. It is difficult to expect that they will miss points in the near future. They still has a high motivation to win, in this matter they will have bigger chance to keep winning in the next few matches.

Saudi Pro League competition is here, you're making bold steps to watch this season matches here, it's tough match. Al Hilal have served a tremendous heartbreak to the Knights of Najd when they presently face them.  A whole lot of things yet to be say unsaid because everyone tend to be attending golden opportunities of grab three points and aiming for more good heights in matches. Al Nassr losing to Al Hilal really weaken their spirit coming steaming this season, they don't have any excuses to give this other than acknowledge their mistakes and think of bouncing back to winning important matches.
The popularity of Al-Nassr have increased with the participation of Ronaldo, so is the expectation from the team. Al-Hilal is potential team and winning against them isn't an easy thing. Al-Hilal hadn't lost a match in the series whereas Al-Nassr have lost three matches. It is really hard to make a comeback as Al-Hilal at no cost will degrade it's performance. Upcoming match days gonna be interesting as Al-Nassr to face Al-Ettifaq against whom they lost in the opening match of the series.
40  Economy / Economics / Re: Luxury and spending lifestyle fastest way to poverty rich kids on: December 10, 2023, 11:48:35 PM
This is due to the misbehavior of parents who are not good at raising and educating their children. Excessive pampering of wealthy children and the ease with which they obtain everything with complete ease will make them ineligible to bear responsibility themselves and will lead to their bankruptcy after the departure of their wealthy parents.
So the blame is primarily on these rich parents.
As parents, we need to show tough love to our kids. Because if not, they will not learn in life when they grow up.

Honestly, those who have lived being poor when they were younger. They are the people that have learned a lot with their lives.

You may see them buy some expensive stuff and luxuries but it is like a reward for all of their hard work for several years unlike the kids that have grown rich and are easy to spend their parents money.
Agreed, a rich kid that enjoys life with the luxury and spends big money never understand much about love. Parents doesn't give attention and the kids seek attention with the money. This makes them have the thoughts of having anything with money. Even the humans will be seen as commodities by some kids. When a kid have grown from a poor background he knows the value of a product as he/she had worked hard to get it. Majority of the problem gets solved through right parenting unlike poor/rich status.
