1021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: July 22, 2022, 10:34:20 PM
I don't think there is a right time for we all to sell. It depends on what we want and the kind of traders or holders we are. We have long time traders or holders that can hold a coin for more than 2 years before selling them and this kind of traders or holders used to hold large quality of coins to they can make a reasonable profits while the short time holders or traders do buy little and sell little within a short period of time.
Yes, it is completely upon the profit perspective. If you're into the plans of making regular money out of the wallet balance, then one need to make use of the volatile market bounce. This can happen at any point around the market price. When it is long term profit focus, then the market growth need to be watched closely. For now the long term focus is 2024-2025
1022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Sentiment Poll for July on: July 22, 2022, 10:22:27 PM
The market of ethereum is quite good compared to Bitcoin. For a long unlike the market movement of bitcoin, ethereum tries to stand high above $1500. This is something good with ethereum for the month of July. The dominance have bounced and this is something real in growth as there is no signs of manipulation from influencers and other market contributors.
1023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk is for crypto or just for attention to boost Tesla, SpaceX? on: July 21, 2022, 09:34:40 PM
I think its great that someone like Elon musk is backing crypto, and yes he has personal interest in Dodge, but overall his support has provided positivity to crypto ecosystem. I think he is increasing his stake in crypto because he has clarity that future of crypto is bright and he also wants to be on the front seat of the crypto bus.
Backing? He bought bitcoin for his personal gain, tweeted about it to get the price higher, sold it all and badmouthed it for being bad for environment. The price crashed after his tweets and maybe one day we'll learn who benefited from it. Maybe Musk gave a tip to some of his rich friends to be ready to buy and then began to tweet all these things about bitcoin? We all know that price tanked in 2021 after his tweets and recovered soon to reach a new high. Some people made a lot of money on Musk's manipulations.
Musk does everything perfectly to make money out of it. It can be cryptocurrency or something else. What he aims for will be attained through some means. He understood well about the market. There are people who keeps following his trend to make some money. Once after the price tanked to the ATH people just ignored him. This is where he lost his importance in the cryptospace. So, further I'm not sure how he's gonna influence the market as people well understood his activities.
1024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 21, 2022, 09:27:27 PM

After few bad years Pakistani team is back in their aggressive style and doing good in all three formats which is good signal for their fans because last few years while they were unable to play at home surely was never been ideal situation but with few new and quality players are taking their responsibility and having good practice against quality teams giving them positive results.

Even currently PSL is in early stages but bringing some good youngsters in limelight which is going to be turning point for them in near future.

Series against the Netherlands is surely going to be one-sided because they are not good enough as they were few years back recently they are also searching for few quality players, but sadly their domestic system is all depended on England which is not allowing them for having better quality.

Pakistan looks very progressive. Particularly the positive move have taken place after the PSL. This means these leagues were serving as booster to the growing players. Next month Pakistan is playing against Netherlands and this will be like a practice match for them. Among the bottom teams, Netherlands makes winning. With the top order teams something distract the performance. Over time this will turn to be more stronger. Following the Netherlands match the T20 tri series among Pakistan, New Zealand and Bangladesh is there. This is good for every team to make a good start in the World Cup T20.
1025  Economy / Speculation / Re: If Bitcoin soon returns to $25K - $30K on: July 21, 2022, 09:13:48 PM
The market can move in any direction. As an user said all that required is a good momentum and the market starts to rise and the money exited will come back. In recent days it looks like lot of money have flown into altcoins. This can be seen through the growth of ethereum which to some extent is in close movement along with bitcoin. $25 - $30k can happen anytime, but how long the market sustains seems to be a short term.
1026  Economy / Speculation / Re: Have we reached a bottom price for BTC? on: July 21, 2022, 09:06:04 PM
I hope that the price of $ 18k is the bottom price, of course the market is difficult to guess so that it makes us have to always be vigilant, even though these days the market continues to rise but unexpected things often happen, and if the price drops below $ 20k again then bad opportunities can occur again.
Surely the price will drop down to $20k. What we see with the rise in the price of bitcoin is just a part of relief rally. If the price is able to cross the $25k barrier, then we can expect something positive out of the market. Until then there is more chances of drop in the market than big bounce. The market is uncertain and we didn't heard any big news which could bump the price harder.
1027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's the $500 for? NFT or Coin! on: July 18, 2022, 11:54:57 PM
Ten months back OP have requested whether to invest on NFT or any of the cryptocurrencies. During that period NFT was in the hype. OP could've made good profit if invested on any of the popular NFT. Considering today's market for the $500 investment, it is always good to focus on some low price altcoins in the top order. Something similar to Cardano is my pick for long term investment.
1028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: July 18, 2022, 11:23:01 PM
Ireland V New zealand

Despite a good performance, Ireland could not win any ODI match against New Zealand only due to bad luck. They were defeated by just 1 run in the last match. But it seems they will win the first T20 match. Ireland won the toss and took the field. New Zealand are able to collect just 53 runs in 8 overs, but they lost three crucial wickets. I will be happy if Ireland can win. This team is working hard.

New Zealand scored only 65 runs in the first 10 overs. But at the end of 20 overs, they set a huge target of 174. New Zealand scored 44 runs in the last 3 overs. Ireland's bowlers are not experienced. A stronger bowling line-up would have improved Ireland's overall performance. I don't think Ireland can win by 174 runs. New Zealand will win this match as usual.
Ireland have reached 142 runs against the tough bowling of New Zealand. It is Glenn Phillips that changed the match, if not this match could've gone even closer. The runs that New Zealand managed to score during the last few overs is the turning point. If the score have got stopped within 150 runs the pressure on Ireland players would've come down. Ireland is an emerging team that have got potential players. Recently in a T20 it made the Indian team into a critical situation till the last. Finally India won by 4 runs and Ireland managed to score 221 runs losing 5 wickets. Maybe we can expect similar performance in the next match.
1029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is leading the market to a monthly high... on: July 18, 2022, 11:09:10 PM
Ethereum have moved above $1500. This will interest the cryptocurrency users to move from bitcoin towards altcoins. When there is growth with ethereum the same can be experienced over large number of altcoins. This could drag the bitcoin price sideways. This isn't a bullish move, according to me it looks like a relief rally which will give opportunity to buy a lower price in the falling weeks. Similar scenario took place during the year 2017-2018 as well as during the year 2020 same time period.
1030  Economy / Gambling / Re: A New Era for Betting - (After Corona Circumstances) on: July 18, 2022, 11:16:41 AM
The impact is still felt today even though the current situation is much more under control. Especially regarding gambling, I think during the pandemic there was a big improvement in the industry as most of the gamblers who used to play in physical casinos had to switch to online casinos due to restrictions.
Large number of gamblers who are regular participant of physical caisnos moved into online gambling platforms. During the same time period more number of gambling sites came into usage. This increase in userbase as well as the gambling sites brought more inflow of money. During the pandemic gambling industry experienced big success. Some of the physical casinos too started their online gambling service.

But of course once the pandemic subsides then gamblers seem to find it easier to fulfill their desire to gamble regardless of whether they want to gamble online or physically. There has been an increase in the inflow of money into the post-pandemic gambling industry mainly because people may have recovered from a bad financial situation in the last 3 years.

As mentioned people who are stuck without business and lack of employment benefits started to progress as situation slowly came back to normal life. During this time period more sports betting persons have shifted their interest towards casino games as there is no sports activities during the pandemic.
1031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 18, 2022, 10:44:49 AM
Remember that this wicket is not easy to play on and any target above or near to 300 will be a good one and it wont be easy for Pakistan to chase it.
Srilanka lead by 261 and they still have three wickets in hand. The match is in balance now but if Srilanka manage to take lead above 300, the match will tilt in favor of srilanka.

It's 269 for 8. However, Chandimal is still at the crease. I would say Sri Lanka has a high chance of losing all their wickets before 300. But Maheesh Theekshana played brilliant innings of 38 runs in the first innings. If Theekshana and Chandimal form a partnership today, Sri Lanka will be able to collect up to 350. Now Sri Lanka leads by 273 runs. If they are able to give a target like 320, the match will be under the control of Sri Lanka.
Right now Sri Lanka have a lead of 309 runs after 86 overs. Two more wickets left to end the innings. Chandimal and Theekshana on the crease with 66 and 11 runs. There is consistent play from Chandimal and that too he had played good when the match is in a critical situation. If Chandimal have lost his wicket earlier, not the innings could've come to an end.

End of day 4 we'll get the result of the match. If Pakistan makes their regular game there is more chance of chasing the target, if they make a slow game surely there'll be early fall of wickets increasing the pressure.
1032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't sell your precious BTC to the whales! on: July 18, 2022, 10:39:34 AM
I will sell my btc to people who want to buy at a high price if the whale dares to offer my btc at a high price then i will release my btc, i think the whales who play in their market can make the bitcoin price fall for example they release all their bitcoins of course bitcoin will be cheap, so my question is if not the whales then who else would you sell bitcoins to?
It is time to hold, what you sell will profit the Whale holders and not you. For example I was in need of money and wanted to sell through a P2P trading platform. The price quoted by the buyer was 20% lower than the market price. So, if we're selling now then we're in loss whereas the whales make profit.
1033  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: July 18, 2022, 02:14:06 AM
I am of opinion that El Salvador should continue in its intensified efforts at building a sustainable economic system around Bitcoin, for long-term gain at the moment El Salvador's economic strength is not enough to make any positive impact on the price of Bitcoin, but then in the long run if the various plans and programs of the El Salvador Bitcoin project go live and the price moves up in a positive direction El Salvador will stand a good chance of lifting their economy out of it improvised state right now.
This is a tweet from President Nayib Bukele a week ago. This shows how determined is the steps taken forward in making an economy around the bitcoin. Against so many criticism he believe in the growth. This is reflected through the statement Will they publish an apology once we pay everything on time?

1034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: July 17, 2022, 11:49:55 AM

This tweet has nothing to make a discussion. Here it is mentioned about the adoption from El Salvador. Following is the adoption process with few African countries. Through this tweet what he's trying to convey is to know about the cryptocurrency afro. Going through coinmarketcap found it listed. Nothing there to make it a consideration when there is more other potential altcoins. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
1035  Economy / Gambling / Re: The History Of Gambling. on: July 17, 2022, 11:16:04 AM
I like the compilations of the history of gambling and how the article pointed down to the ancient days and how gambling was perceived at that time. But then is Egypt really the origin of gambling?
Egypt is not the only origin of gambling. Because the ancient people were able to leave various traces related to gambling, different races have been around since the old stone age.  Even Mesopotamia which is now part of Iraq and Kuwait and other neighboring countries. Spain and China have their types of gambling. And there are many others, also based on the cultures and traditions that have taken place as the evolution of each object and event takes place.
I have read that the earliest time when gambling started goes back to the Ancient China. It is mentioned in Books of song.
They have referred it to the wood drawing and that the tiles along refers to the dics. You can check that online too.
According to the Wikipedia source the evolution of gambling dates back to the paleolithic period, which is the stone age. This means even before the start of writing the history. Further Mesopotamians used six sided dice back in 3000 BCE (Before the Common Era). Further came the China were betting on fighting animals were done.
1036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale Betting Strategy on BlackJack, how effective it is? on: July 17, 2022, 10:24:32 AM
People take it in different way. I personally see anything with gambling needs to be luck than skills to develop strategies. Even with blackjack, if the player is lucky he'll get the right cards after shuffle as well as while making a draw. So, there are more luck factors that decides the winning/losing. This happens even when you play well with good skills and strategies.
1037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Have Donated My Campaign BTC to buy Laptop for Practical Classes on: July 17, 2022, 10:00:35 AM
Everyone won't be having the mind to spend money to educate others. What OP have done is really a good thing and a must needed one for the growth of bitcoin. When it is being taught to the school kids automatically the growth of bitcoin will begin from the base which is a much required one for a healthy growth. Looking at this my mind thinks of doing some good deeds with the campaign payments than losing it gambling on the same day.
1038  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's faceless identity is the greatest Bitcoin success strategy on: July 17, 2022, 07:23:41 AM
Satoshi is good with his innovation and never wanted his identity to be revealed. Following his innovation more other people learnt the base and innovated the altcoins as a means to serve as an alternative to the crypto king bitcoin.

Hidden identity makes bitcoin above the altcoins, and for the same reason we can't say altcoins doesn't have anything good. There is pure manipulation, and centralized functioning with altcoins. Same time those too have real-time usage which keeps them on the top of the market.
1039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Gambling companies can get more users to deposit. on: July 16, 2022, 10:28:56 PM
The passage of mandatory KYC in the event of a conditionally large win by a player, here, it seems to me, on the one hand, the occurrence of circumstances of difficulties for withdrawing funds for the player himself, but on the other hand, it is also the responsibility of the casino for AML. But whatever it was, in fact, all these restrictions raise doubts for making a decision to make a deposit or not.
I don't think it's the reason why many people don't want to make a deposit because honestly speaking, most of users didn't even read the whole TOS and just register new account. If there's no such thing aside username, email and password to create new accounts, they will make a deposit after completing that.

Mandatory KYC and withdrawal problem mostly occur when they already make a deposit, not before deposit.

Most of the gamblers and I can say including me rarely read the TOS since I consider it the same with others also I don't have any intention to play intensively or even deposit a large amount of money on casino because I'm also aware about this issue as well scamming. If KYC immediately ask upon signing up for sure players will lose their interest since it creates bad impression not unless if the casino already establish a good reputation.
This is the reality when one makes an account in a gambling platform. He/she ignore the TOS and agree it, only when some problem arises he/she will go through it. Most of the Casinos never request for KYC, and people won't show interest upon such platforms. People are into cryptocurrency accepted gambling sites for its faster settlement and privacy. When the same is not there anymore, surely people will avoid it. Why such a situation, so gambling sites handle these KYC related activities very carefully.
1040  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Watford Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: July 16, 2022, 10:19:33 PM
They probably have different formula. Same amount of wager got 70% different bonus coupons today.. 😑

My stats is not really bad this month since I did not play a lot (mostly with weekly bonus only and 1-2 small deposits). I believe I have not wagered more than $10k during the last 30 days before monthly bonus. For this month I received $57 which is actually similar amount to what I usually got in the previous months. No big change for me in both my wagering activity and overall statistic during the last few months (at least from May). I have no idea about the formula but I think the new formula is about what is posted by ryzaadit before where we get more amount if we lose more.

That is the point, lose more and get higher bonuses. Tbh, if doesn't worth chasing any kind of bonus except you are close less than 2% on next Vip rank. Btw, $57 is very good amount for monthly bonus with that wager.
Yes, the bonuses were associated with the lose experienced during the time period for which the wager is being calculated. During the last week once after receiving the weeks campaign payment I used it. I lost the amount in less than 10 rolls. What I lost is $50 and what I earned today through the bonus claim is 51 dogecoin. If I haven't lost it, I might've got something around 30 dogecoin. So, if is much associated with the loss.
