801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: September 18, 2022, 03:31:52 AM

There is a big difference between a person who loves cricket and one who has the time to watch a whole test match of cricket. As of right now, I do not think that most people have enough time in their lives to watch a whole test cricket match. There is a strong possibility that test cricket is already on the verge of extinction. I agree with you that one-day international cricket is also walking down the same path as the test cricket format. It would not surprise me if in a few years' time the popularity of ODI loses some of its lusters. However, I believe it's a good thing for the long run of cricket. The reason for this is that if less time is required, more teams will be interested.
ICC too not interested in making test cricket popular. Only few teams are into test cricket. To me test cricket is real cricket, because only through the test matches player skills can be understood. With T-20 matches the match can turn anytime. Maybe adding few more countries and scheduling matches for them will keep the test cricket good even if some teams get out of it.
802  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Few Steps To Avoid Losses In Trading. on: September 17, 2022, 11:37:51 PM
Whether it is trading or to make profit out of holding patience is a must, because hold for long term to experience the best profiting. Same as that to experience the best of trading out of the minor price variation we need patience. If not, trading is not the right thing for you. Greediness with trading won't happen when you have made a profit out of the same cryptocurrency earlier.
803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 17, 2022, 11:32:49 PM
I think Australia is a team capable of playing in any format. They have players of all formats in their team, they just use the timing. Their style of cricket is world class. They hope to do well in the upcoming T20 World Cup. All the players in their team are very responsible.

First of all, Australia is not considered as a top-3 team in any of the formats. The current Australian team is perhaps the weakest they ever had in the history of cricket. And I am not sure which player in the current squad is capable of playing in multiple formats. Smith and Labuschagne struggle in limited overs cricket, while players such as Warner and Finch are very weak in test format. And then there are players such as Travis Head and Nathan Lyon who are not suitable for any of the formats.
For now the focus is T20 format cricket. Just think of the performance from the past. The legendary players mastered cricket and the name still continues for Australia. This makes Australia to stand high even though they lack performance and there is no big player that can be mentioned as a key player.
804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: September 17, 2022, 11:28:23 PM
Schedule has been announced for the inaugural ICC U19 Women's T20 World Cup. There will be 4 groups of four teams each.

Group A: Australia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, USA
Group B: England, Pakistan, Zimbabwe, Rwanda
Group C: Ireland, Indonesia, New Zealand, West Indies
Group D: India, South Africa, UAE, Scotland.

Some of the good women's teams are missing, including Nepal, Thailand and Netherlands. Top 6 teams will qualify for the super-six phase and four teams from that phase will enter the semi-finals.

The team order is placed well. From the four groups Australia, England, New Zealand and South Africa will qualify. For the remaining two spots remaining countries will fight. India seems to have a fair chance. Nepal, Netherlands and Thailand might have got good team, but they might've lacked performance over the qualifiers for the U-19 T20.
805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I have bought Bitcoin ? on: September 17, 2022, 11:22:34 PM
The needs of every person in this world are different. Some have less demand and some have more. Some are satisfied with little and some are not with much. Anyway, there is nothing new to say about Bitcoin. I believe that the future will be my bitcoin. I have been able to hold very little but I am optimistic that Bitcoin will be able to give me maximum leverage. That's why I'm so interested in collecting bitcoins.
Yes, needs vary between people. Through this thread I understood bitcoin usage have gone beyond what we expect. A Monk using bitcoin is something I never expected, and the same have helped him survive is its core help beyond the purpose for which this is being innovated. Different users have set different values to have them satisfied. In that stand majority prefer to have atleast one bitcoin which in today's market is really a tough task.
806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum ATH just surpassed $1440 and dettached from BTC's price coupling on: September 17, 2022, 11:17:08 PM
The transition from POW to POS will make big changes in the market of ethereum. We used to experience a market pattern of bitcoin with ethereum in the previous days. In the falling days this can vary and the market movement following bitcoin too can vary. The price of ethereum is set to grow big against so many predictions. For now ethereum won't make a big move at the shortest. It requires time to make a large move of $2000+
807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 16, 2022, 11:59:15 PM
~snip~
Yes I agree with that England women team gave the performance they needed to win in two of the three matches in the entire series. However, India's turnaround in the second match made it seem like the series was unpredictable.  But in the third match, England's first half performance was telling the series in their hands.  And the women of England proved it with the bat, especially Sophia Dunkley's performance played a big role.  But the regret of half century miss for just one run will remain.
I wonder sometimes who do players feel when they miss their century or half century just because of one run or two.
however both team performed well - Indian team performance is improving in almost all the matches. England and Aussie are rich teams they have so much benefits as compared to the Indian and Pakistan women cricket team
It'll be hard to accept, but later they get used to it as it is part of game. Thinking of it after getting out of the crease isn't gonna make any changes. Maybe the learning could help in tackling such situation carefully in the next matches so to reach 50 or 100. There is good growth with the Indian women's team, but the board need to support it more. Same is the problem with Pakistan Women team. Proper coaching and funding and allowance needs to be provided, considering they're playing for the nation same as men playing for the country.
808  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to hit $100k? on: September 16, 2022, 11:57:13 PM
When the end of 2021 ago when the price was stable at $ 60K even reached ATH at the price of $ 69k, making me optimistic that the price of $ 100K would be easily achieved at the end of 2021, unfortunately since December the price continues to decline until now, but I'm sure the price of $ 100k can be achieved even if you have to wait another year.
Price move with bitcoin is unpredictable. What we experienced with the previous bull market is a true statement about the price variation with time and marking new ATH. $100k is achievable considering the price that have been reached in the past. However to get the respective momentum isn't an easy thing. So, lets wait and surely we can experience new ATH and this can be higher than $100k or just above the previous ATH.
809  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin anti-inflation? on: September 16, 2022, 11:50:22 PM
Based on the systematic view, bitcoin needs to be anti inflationary, but it doesn't look like it is against inflation. The limited supply makes it a tool against the inflated currencies. However to take effect it needs to have the market big as the fiat and now the cryptomarket have begun to coexist along with the traditional market.
810  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have started teaching Bitcoin to my Neighbors on: September 15, 2022, 11:55:26 PM
The neighbour whom OP have taught about bitcoin will share with few more people. This is how things will get widespread and the real value of bitcoin is understood than just advertising on televisions. Not all will be interested in learning, but when we brief them with a proper understanding surely it'll reach their minds with ease, because there is a common mentality among people that bitcoin is something more complex.
811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When betting becomes to high on: September 15, 2022, 11:53:04 PM
I know well, particularly my hands go out of control and keeps multiplying the bet value. At some point it reaches the maximum in my wallet. That is really a big mistake, but out of my previous losses I used to do it. This have given hands as well as made me loss big. Majority of the gamblers could've got this experience.
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC or Gold Investment? on: September 15, 2022, 11:50:44 PM
Investment needs to have a diversified plan. Based on the same my choice will be on bitcoin and gold. I realised it on missing opportunity to make profit out of bitcoin during the previous bull market. I had a suggestion to cashout bitcoin and invest into gold, and if I've done that I could've made good money. My choice was to hold and experienced the big decline and sold at the bottom out of panic.
813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [POLL] After the merge the price of Ethereum will go? on: September 15, 2022, 11:47:00 PM
The update was done and as expected by many, the price will start to drop since many will sell against the news and with this update, you can’t feel it right away. We’ve seen the good pump already on a pre-update news, but now we are now seeing investors taking profit. We might not be able to see ETH to pump right away, the market is down though and it’s not easy to see huge pump on a bear market. This merge is still a huge update, price will start to pump eventually.
The immediate move is bearish. In the long term it'll bounce gaining good momentum. For now everyone will tend to make profit at the top. This will lower the price and now it have come down to $1500. That's a big change to get ended. Slowly the progress can be experienced. Without any flaw things got over, if now something like true ethereum and false ethereum could've created and turns to be controversial.
814  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigeria to establish an economic zone which is crypto friendly with Binance on: September 13, 2022, 11:59:37 PM
Nigeria had been the dark horse of crypto world. While the world was calling crypto ridiculous, Nigeria systematically built upon the crypto assets. They adopted crypto slowly and systematically. They educated masses for its uses and now they are establishing cryptocurrency economic zone. I hope other countries take cue from it.
Nigeria is a major crypto player over the African region. Now it tries to capitalise with its plan of creating an economic zone for crypto market. Nigeria being a corrupt nation, beyond certain point it is hard to stand strong. The government that initiated the plan for the good will ruin the core value. As Binance is involved this seems to be fair and effective in its plan.
815  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Class in the Church (14TH August, 2022) on: September 13, 2022, 12:12:15 AM
In many part of the world churches have played a big role in providing education. Not only the religious preaching, but through setting up of schools and other form of education for survival. Today the same serving as a place to educate about the future (Bitcoin) is a good move. Op is doing a great job to spread the good about the bitcoin as he believes it'll change the life of people around him someday.
816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Altcoins Follow BTC Rally? on: September 12, 2022, 11:22:40 PM
indeed most of the time when bitcoin goes up altcoins also go up but there are also altcoins that are slow to follow the price increase, and that's because it depends on the person who buys the altcoin, if those who buy a lot of the price will be high, if those who buy it don't, it will be too late to go up. I think it depends on the purchase.
Yeah, the market varies based on the volume being traded. This situation is being felt at present. The price of bitcoin have grown by 3.3% whereas the ethereum have fallen by 2% which isn't a big change. It is something based on the variation between the buying. Now more people could've moved from altcoins towards bitcoin which seems like the reason for the growth of bitcoin and decline with altcoins.
817  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading gambling in another form? on: September 12, 2022, 10:59:48 PM
Some form of trading is like gambling. Both have got its difference. With trading we have multiple options to lower the loss. We predict the price to reach X, but this didn't happen. So, we can just hold and the market will reach the target. This needs time and we should have the patience. With gambling it is all about the result, we predict the outcome and based on the coincidence of our prediction with the outcome we'll be rewarded with the amount we've risked.
818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Luxury resort, Palazzo Versace Dubai now accepts BTC on: September 12, 2022, 10:25:03 PM
Nowadays similar news are getting to be common, because from the low end of the business have begun to accept cryptocurrencies. From a country like Dubai such an effort is an easy thing, because the government is in support of cryptocurrency usage. Compared to the past the acceptance level have increased and so is the users. The spending have got limited, because people prefer spending when the market is bullish and now it is time to accumulate.
819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bonus Abuse: Who is to Blame? on: September 12, 2022, 10:20:52 PM
every promotion carried out by gambling sites has a large enough abuse loophole and it's not just 1 or 2 gambling sites that have experienced this. it's difficult for gambling sites to prevent this, especially those that don't require KYC, the gap for abuse is getting bigger, the problem is that gambling sites that require KYC will be deserted because people prefer non-KYC. the conclusion is that no one is to blame!!

Not that I endorse KYC implementation on any platform, however, only a casino that wants its gambling ground to be overrun with bots would offer large promotions on a non-KYC casino, most of the time, they only offer free spins in those kinds of casinos, which they know they can control, rather than a welcome bonus, which will be heavily abused.
Implementing KYC may limit the usage of bots, but it may also be misused since KYC can be manipulated. We have people who buy other people's information to pass KYC, and they may even pay others to conduct KYC for them if they don't want any company invading their privacy.
Users have got multiple ways for KYC and all other needs. Just think of a below 18 person into gambling. Does he fulfills KYC, no he enters just by accepting he/she is above 18+ and if requested for KYC they night move to another casino or find a solution with someone else details. This happens and Casinos doesn't want their users to move away from them, because the industry is competent and more are on the queue to serve.
820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: September 12, 2022, 06:10:31 PM
Chennai Open WTA have begun yesterday. The last season of the tournament was played back in 2008. Once again this have begun this year on hard outdoor courts in Chennai which is one among the popular cities of India. During the year 2008, it was Serena Williams to win the trophy. This time good players are on the lineup and we're able to see good women's Tennis.
