181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 27, 2023, 02:50:27 AM
It is the Germany Bundesliga were we can see the enthusiasm of the aged people supporting football. In the match between FC Bayern Munich and FC Union Berlin it was possible to see how the aged people cheer after every goal from Bayern Munich. The team scored every goal in the first half and was in good position to give complete pressure on Union Berlin. The second goal coming from Kingsley Coman was the best, the way he took forward and made it a goal showed his confidence on that particular shot.

6 World Cup wins? Wow. These ladies are making the World Cup look like some common domestic league. Australia has always dominated in the men's format and they are dominating in the woman's format too.

It's pretty clear that their training methods are very, very effective. Both India and South Africa fought well in the semi-finals though India barely lost while SA barely won.

I am glad to see the South Africans finally reaching the finals without choking even though they didn't win the cup ultimately. Legendary stuff Australian women's team!
Once it was Australia men's team that wins each and every match and the tournament. With the performance coming out of the Australia Women's team, now the competence is between the Australia Women's team and men's team. Australia Women's team have won its 6th T20 World Cup. Will Australia men's team will win its 6th World Cup in the upcoming ODI format cricket World Cup.
183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does this help you win when you're gambling? on: February 27, 2023, 01:57:17 AM
Originally, gambling should be done for fun and nothing else because that is the right mindset and in the norms gambling in meant for the enjoyment of it and if anything else is added to that that is an extra task that could add more pressure to the individual gambler.

-But then playing for fun does not enhance your winning ability and possibility,  since gambling is a game of luck and at the same time it depends on skill to enhance the winning but not in all cases.,  what am saying in essence is that gambling should be taken for what it is which is seeking fun and not allow it to become a habit which is possible.
Everyone won't be able to consider this way. People just spend for entertainment, and never think about the money spent. It helps to have fun and to spend time. When it comes to gambling people's minds haven't prepared to consider gambling same as what they do with some sort of other entertainment activities. It is true, gambling is to have fun and it is normal to spend. On the go automatically people expect something to happen out of the gambling. This is where everything goes away from the objective of fun towards money making which makes gambling riskier.

And just like that, a life changed! Congratulations, truly. It seems that you put a reasonable amount of effort and research into your bet, and those efforts paid off handsomely. I hope that you use these winnings on something meaningful and long-lasting in your life...at least, give as little back to them as you can Wink
Based on what OP have mentioned, already two years passed and I'm sure he's in good position with his winnings. He had mentioned that he have more other similar wins, but those weren't that high as this. Another thing, he's quite good at sports betting and for that reason I'm sure he could've given back very less to them Wink

What a night for Al-Nassr as they managed to steal 3 additional points away from home against Damac FC. What's even more special is the hat trick scored by their star Cristiano Ronaldo in the first half, making their victory locked since then. In the last 3 matches of Al-Nassr, CR7 managed to record 2x hat tricks and add to the total hat trick throughout his career to 62 times. Shocked
cristiano's success scored 3 goals in the match against damac, placing al nassr succeeded in being in 1st position with 43 points, and that was really dramatic because last week, al ittihad and al shabab really really threatened al nassr's position at the top of the standings. The SPL is only 11 matches away and I believe that Cristiano is capable of becoming the top scorer of the SPL this season (until the end of the season).
If Ronaldo will continue to score hatrick at his age and in his new club, it is worrisome and also motivational. Ronaldo is a great footballer the world may never forget. The last time I watched him in his new club I discovered that he has went back to the pattern of dribbling and showing of skills which he was doing in England and he is also scoring.
Out of the last 10 goals scored by the team Al-Nassr, 8 goals have come out from Ronaldo and two were assisted by him. The new club have given him the right space and the co players are getting well with the game. Playing with a legend and getting advice on the gameplay surely gonna make more good players emerge through the Saudi Arabia Pro League.

It's the weekend 🥳

What would you do with an extra $50 in your Stake wallet?
That's going to be simple. All on sugar rush or jewel/gems bonanza slot machine and close my eyes. I've already made 245x with one bet in sugar rush. I am not saying my odds would be good with one bet but 245x $50 sounds joucier than that 245 x $0.60 that i got.

Wait is that an offer? Can i get an extra $50 for something?
It looks like he have just raised a question to know what is the choice of the users. Maybe he can pick someone with the good response or pick a random lucky user and credit him with the $50 extra in the Stake account.

My choice is to wager the $50 on Dice. With $50 it is possible to wager for some time. If lucky I may get the $50 turned to $100.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I've been scared to invest in bitcoin on: February 26, 2023, 11:59:45 PM
You fear and it means you aren't prepared for Bitcoin investment. I'm not sure of the volatility in the future, based on what I've enjoyed volatility is the best feature of cryptocurrency. More number of users love the feature and for that reason they're into cryptocurrency. Maybe if the volatility decreases, they might move to the traditional investments. Volatility makes the investment risky, but it is the one that brings good profiting through the difference. In specific traders love it.

In the final match of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup, against Australia Women's Cricket Team, South Africa Women's Cricket Team defeated by 19 runs. South Africa Women's batting was very slow and disappointing from the start of the game. Australia Women's bowlers put South Africa Women's batsmen under a lot of pressure. So the batsmen of the South Africa women's team failed to bat comfortably. Australia women's cricket team has been amazing in both batting and bowling. Today's final match was an exciting match. I am very happy to enjoy this match
It was like big winning opportunity for South Africa Women, but they failed and Australia took advantage of the slow start. Australia's Women finally won the T20 World Cup for the sixth time. Much disappointed, because believed India Women will make a win and now expected South Africa Women will win, after the target of 156 runs.

Peshawer Zalmi vs Lahore Qalanders
Peshawer Zalmi face Lahore Qalanders in this 15th match of HBL PSL where lahore win the toss and select to bat first, as far as everyone know the Peshawer has one of the weak bowling lineup in entire PSL franchise and due to that reason Lahore smashed them too brutally by scoring 241 in twenty overs with a run rate of above 12. where fakhar zaman score 96 while A.shafiq score 75 and s.billing score 46. I think chasing such a big target of HBL PSL will be a huge challenge for Peshawer batter to Chase. But on the other side the world best bowling lineup will not allow the to chase it easily.
Fakhar Zaman have played an awesome innings, 96 runs of 45 balls. Arshad Iqbal had bowled well giving 28 runs in 4 overs. This means in 16 overs Lahore Qalandars have scored 213 runs. Peshawar Zalmi too is no down to Lahore Qalandars and in 9 overs managed to score 101/2 with Tom Kohler-Cadmore 48*(20) and Saim Ayub 34*(26) on the crease keeps the hope of winning the match.

New Zealand could have collected 300 runs in the first innings, the match would have been competitive.
300? Lol! They barely scored 200+ runs thanks to Southee's late flourish which is why expecting them to score 300 runs when they collapsed like a pack of cards is silly. They are batting well in the 2nd innings, but the situation still looks dire for them.
They will probably post a lead close to 200 which England will comfortably end up chasing unless they collapse.
At the end of the third day, New Zealand managed to collect 202 runs. They are playing very well in the second innings. Williamson collected 25 runs and Nicholls collected 18 runs. If these two batsmen form a big partnership, New Zealand can collect more than 400. If New Zealand is able to give more than 200 targets, the match will definitely become competitive. However, my guess is that New Zealand will be able to score at least 380 runs in the second innings.

The performance of New Zealand batsmen is strange. In the first innings, they managed to collect only 209 runs, and in the second innings, New Zealand collected 202 runs with the loss of only 3 wickets. Both the openers played well enough. However, the match will be one-sided and may turn out to be competitive if the New Zealand batsmen are able to play well on the fourth day. Looking forward to the first session on the fourth day.
Newzealand performance is extremely different in both innings,  in first innings they got all out on 209 runs and after follow on in second innings they have scored 202 runs with 3 wickets loss
New Zealand team is going with too tough time now days, because they try hard but luck didn't help them and due to that reason they lost too much matches in the presence of Thier class player, they play really bad against england in first test and now in second test too but I got shocked to see that new Zealand score 202 while only 3 player of them are down after follow on in second/third inning. I think such kind of performance which Latham and Conway did really need to Carry on for new Zealand team to camback to his form.
No doubt they will lose this test too but getting back into form of Thier class player will help them in series against Pakistan
Thats wrong, luck have nothing to do with the performance of the players. The players haven't performed well and the same have made them loss matches. In its previous test matches it lost two matches against India and had a draw. Against Pakistan Kiwis draw two matches. So, they aren't that bad. In this series they're underperforming. Hope they'll make a comeback at the earliest.

South Africa Women team have got an opportunity to win the World Cup, and Australia Women team were bowling at their best. In 5 overs South Africa Women were able to score 17 runs losing a wicket. During the powerplay good scoring will increase the winning probability. When Australia Women was batting, the winning chance of South Africa Women was found to be 14% and now it have come down to 8%

~
Shabnim Ismail bowled well and I'm happy that the host team is able to reach the finals. Lets see whether the host team is able to win the title.
I wanted to see South Africa winning the World Cup and breaking the curse they have especially with the Men's team, but to defeat Australia which is way ahead of every other team is an impossible factor because they have the best batsman and bowlers and their fielding is incredible and even if one player fails to perform the other steps up their game just like the old Australian Men's team.
Till date Australia Women have won the title 5 times, England and West Indies Women have won the title once. Atleast for this reason majority of the cricketing fans will be supporting South Africa Women team to win the final. It is true, Australia Women is in such a form, if one player fails to perform the other takes responsibility and performs. South Africa Women haven't reached the level to give tough fight, but in T20 cricket unpredictable incidents happen.

Is Stake giving less amount in weekly bonus for non-verified KYC users? I have lost almost $400 in this week and wagered around $4.5k, but I have received $13 only from the weekly bonus. I was expecting a little more for my weekly losses.
I'm also dealing with bad losing streak at Stake since last few months. And I'm losing pretty good amount by being able to wager a small amount. Maybe it's time to take a break from Stake for a few months Sad.
Making a comparison with what you've received in the previous week will let you have a clear detail on the difference in the weekly bonus. If I'm not wrong there is specific wager slab which increases the bonus claim. Amidst the loss, if you've wagered above $10k your bonus might've been increased as expected.

James Anderson getting his 683rd test wicket. He is now just 17 wickets away, from becoming the first pacer to get to 700 test wickets. Life is not going to get easier for the Kiwis, as Stuart Broad is bowling from the other end.
Of course James Anderson* will take just 15 wickets to reach his desired goal of 700 wickets as a pacer. Among the two spinners, Muthiah Muralidaran (Sri Lanka) is at the top position with 800 wickets, followed by Shane Warne (Australia) with 708 wickets. James Anderson is the only pacer to take third place with 685 wickets. However, Muthiah Muralitharan and Shane Warne have played more matches than them. James Anderson can overtake Shane Warne to the second position anytime. The Steward Board is in the fifth position, he can overtake Anil Kumle to the fourth position anytime.
These two English bowlers already have their mark in history with many achievements and things as going I have feeling most chances these both will be at second and third spots in all time wickets takers list in near future with most chances they could be also in better spots for the all-time test playing players because right now no one is going to bring them down and English selectors are also having no suitable replacement for them which is allowing them to stay in for few more years like most chances these both can play until 2025 WTC final as both are fit and giving amazing stuff for the team.

Being fast bowlers giving performance like this for decades is amazing stuff but I have still feeling like James Anderson have no chance for the passing out Mutihiah Muralidaran as his 800 wickets are still the dreamy record to achieve for any bowler.
Fast bowler reaching this position is really great thing, because it is really hard to maintain fitness without experiencing injuries is not a simple thing. He have got more time and there is no suitable replacement in the team. As said in all aspects it is really hard to pass the record made by Muralidaran. He had took just 133 matches to reach it whereas Anderson have already played 179* matches and holds just 3 ten wickets haul and 32 five wickets haul. With Muralidaran it is 22 ten wickets haul and 67 five wickets haul, what a difference.
195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: February 25, 2023, 08:38:44 PM
So, Medvedev won another title today in Doha. Pretty predictable if you ask me. Murray was good but there's a huge gap between him and a much younger Medvedev (in form, performance, pretty much everything).

Ladies in Dubai were not that predictable though: Krejcikova defeated Swiatek in straight sets. What a surprise and perfect tennis by Barbora! Swiatek continues to surprise! Out of form? conditioning issues? lack of motivation? injury?  Huh
Murray played well, but something lagged and it wasn't easy identical. Medvedev had the normal game and nothing looked to be very good. Recorded the direct set win to lift the trophy. Nothing to say as an extraordinary play from both of them.

Swiatek losing against Barbora is simply unexpected. The young lady Swiatek is dominating the Women's tennis for long and now she had turned out of form. Even in the previous match she was good to defeat Coco Gauff 6-4 6-2 and in the same manner Swiatek got defeated against Barbora in the final.

When power becomes more effective than talent in a sector, corruption is bound to happen. In a place like cricket they use their power to sit in their positions for long periods of time without any problem. And on the other hand, Bangladesh cricket is going downhill due to lack of proper management. Bangladesh cricket fans should take a stand against this gang and force them to resign for the betterment of Bangladesh cricket team.
Agreed, at the same stance we need to think is it possible to make these corrupt ones resign. Really impossible, because when some unites against them there'll be someone to work for them. Money gives the power and we should have the patience. Beyond some level automatically they'll be caught redhanded or government takes initiative. Lets wait and until that happens, Bangladesh cricket will be the same.
197  Economy / Economics / Re: How rich would I be? on: February 25, 2023, 08:24:43 PM
Being rich starts with one's thinking mentality, it's something that starts from the mind before turning into a materialized ambition we achieved in reality, some has thought about it that being rich belong to some particular set of people or caliber to enjoy life, but when we come along with others' stories on how they started low and poor but ended being rich because of their determination and persistence in life struggles, iurs also can be an exceptional decision if we take time to discover more about ourselves a d work on our areas of weakness.
Yes, most stories of the poor turned rich have got the hardwork and believing themselves. Here the scenario is different, OP have requested about being rich through DCAing of bitcoin. Starting now and continuing till the last bitcoin is being mined is good and it'll make him rich for sure. Because it takes lots of years and we don't know how much money it brings.
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 13 years ago Theymos sold 160btc at $0.003 per 1, lowest price ever recorded on: February 25, 2023, 08:19:27 PM
Even Theymos sold his bitcoins at the time, which means no one knows what the future holds, what bitcoin has achieved today is truly amazing. It's funny when many people say that if they had known about bitcoin earlier, they would have invested and kept it till now.
Whether it's for Theymos or any other person, no one can tell his future. If Theymos knew the future of bitcoin, would he have sold 160 bitcoins for only $0.003 per bitcoin! Moreover, he could buy maximum 3 apples at that time for only $0.48. I will compare Theymos selling 160 bitcoins for $0.48 to buying a second pizza.

Laszlo Hanycez sold 10000 BTC for a pizza
Theymos sold 160 BTC for 1/4 pizza 🍕

Yeah, we don't have the magic to predict the future. If that is available we'll be the rulers. Some kept hold by situation and for some reason. Here Theymos could've got some reason for selling. Maybe if he's supposed to sell, he should've forgotten his private key or something likewise could've happened. Because majority of the early holders funds were of just left back and remembered after years.

Can I ask you a question? If worst thing happens and your grandfather passes away, who will took the Bitcoins that your grandfather bought?

If grandfather dies after investing in bitcoins we will divide it between us. My family consists of my parents and grandfather and we three brothers and two sisters. I will share equally with my family.

Everyone pray for my grandfather that my grandfather may live long.
Everyone pray for the long life of your grandfather. And your grandfather haven't invested yet. You've given the suggestion to invest. The suggestion is good, but request him to allocate little amount and have the rest of his earnings in different investment or savings. Because during the elderly people want money to meet unexpected needs. Maybe we can encounter situation in which the market is down and you're in need of money for some emergency medical needs or something similar.

Let his soul rest in peace. Not everyone get such support when it comes to cryptocurrency. Not much of the older people are aware of cryptocurrency. Even the known persons have fear, whether to invest. This is common, and what OP's father have done to him is really appreciable. Every parent wants their children to have better life. For that they do many sacrifices. We people never understand it when they're alive and we'll understand when they're no more with us.
