1304  Economy / Services / ████ Antpool Link Provided TX Accelerator ████ on: March 11, 2019, 04:22:41 PM
https://www.antpool.com/user/prioritiseTransaction.htm
https://www.antpool.com/user/prioritiseTransaction.htm
https://www.antpool.com/user/prioritiseTransaction.htm

No scraping , No trust leverage, Just pure Source provided.

Another way is to simply add a higher fee to your tx

This is from bitcoin wiki and is really useful if you want to be an autodidact usually the antpool method works fine with no extra fee needed.

Find the transaction ID (aka txid) of the stuck transaction. Almost all wallets have some way of doing this.
Search for the txid on https://blockchain.info/
On blockchain.info, in the footer, click Enable in "Advanced: Enable". If advanced mode is already enabled so that it instead says "Advanced: Disable", then don't disable it.
Write down the "size" number listed under "Summary". Call this value STUCK_SIZE. Also call the same value TOTAL_SIZE. The reason for having two names for the same thing is that you might later have to add to TOTAL_SIZE, but not to STUCK_SIZE. Separately, write down the "fees" number listed under "Inputs and outputs", and call this TOTAL_FEES.
On the left side of the green arrow near the top of the page will be one or more addresses. If any of them have a red U next to it, for each such address, click "Output".
For the transactions that it brings you to, add the size to TOTAL_SIZE, and the fees to TOTAL_FEES. Do this for all of the outputs listed with a red U.
If any of those transactions also have red 'U's, you have to follow those as well and add their sizes and fees to the running totals. And so on. You might have to go down several layers.
Now TOTAL_SIZE is the the total size (in bytes) of all unconfirmed ancestors of your stuck transaction, and TOTAL_FEES is the total fees (in BTC) for all unconfirmed ancestors of your stuck transaction.
Go to https://estimatefee.com/. Around the middle-right of the page it'll say "nnn satoshis/byte", where nnn is some number. Remember this number as TARGET_FEERATE.
We need to estimate the additional size of your replacement or CPFP transaction. We'll call this value NEWTX_SIZE. If the transaction you're trying to unstick is one that you sent, estimate NEWTX_SIZE as 100. If the transaction you're trying to unstick is one that you received, estimate NEWTX_SIZE as 500. Later on this page, the section for your specific wallet might give you a different value for NEWTX_SIZE, in which case you should use that value instead.
Compute the following: [(TARGET_FEERATE / 100000000) * (TOTAL_SIZE + NEWTX_SIZE)] - TOTAL_FEES. The result is an estimate of the total fee that your new transaction will need to pay in BTC. For mBTC, multiply by 10-3; for bits/uBTC, 10-6; for satoshi, 10-8. This number is not per kB. If your wallet only allows you to specify fees in BTC/bits/satoshi per kB/byte, multiply the result by one of the following estimated conversion factors (we conservatively assume the worst-case 192-byte transaction for this estimation):
BTC/kB: 5.20833333333
bits/kB: 5208333.33333
satoshi/kB: 520833333.333
BTC/byte: 0.00520833333
bits/byte: 5208.33333333
satoshi/byte: 520833.333333
If blockchain.info doesn't have your transaction, you can use a different block explorer. blockchain.info is actually notoriously unreliable, but it has the best interface for this particular task.

Almost certainly, fine-tuning would result in a better fee rate, but the above instructions try to be very general and conservative (in the sense of having the highest chance of unsticking your transaction).

1306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So I interviewed with Bitmain in Rockdale TX back in November. Ranting on: March 05, 2019, 05:06:41 AM
and i really don't believe the capability of Bitcoin Cash 'til now. unlike eth, they have strong developmental team but BCH, i wonder where they will go a year from now?

It'll still be chugging.

It has Bitcoin in the name and enough money and infrastructure behind it. Traders don't care about a coin's use, development or fundamentals. It's on all the exchanges and has big volume. Ergo it stays.
pretty sad huh? crazy thing is a lot of people didnt correlate asic sales and bch push , I think batches where dry for months before they released them and only accepted bch like the same day or day after the fork.

@Frank I dont know what to say to you except your kinda rude. (Noticed this in other post I lurk on too)
1307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So I interviewed with Bitmain in Rockdale TX back in November. Ranting on: March 04, 2019, 04:57:20 PM
So seems everyone perceives Bitmain as the bad guy now (they really are shady) I preached this in ark sack back in 2016/17  they where manipulating markets such as only accepting bch on new batch releases. or check into antminer B3 (huge joke) My concept at interview time was if you cant beat them join them. then i tried and realised they could be beaten due to arrogant incompetency, glad competitors are out there now.
1308  Economy / Service Announcements / HiRiBi -Bugs- Scams- on: January 20, 2019, 11:17:20 PM
If you search any TXID from hiribi thread on btc talk and plug it into their site you get the sellers emails.
Scam is stolen pp accounts. Money gets reversed via paypal on some emails.
1309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / So I interviewed with Bitmain in Rockdale TX back in November. Ranting on: January 19, 2019, 04:28:32 PM
I interviewed with bitmain when BTC lost its floor (6k to 4k) and they seemed optimistic
I asked them about job security if BTC goes bust they said operations will resume as normal with potential to just mine alts
I brought up that alts where crashing just as fast and they didnt seem bothered but where no longer interested in my employment as I was asking to many operational questions. (The interviews where for facility manager BTW) I was also being interviewed by people who did not have much knowledge on BC itself.
So this project projected 400+ Jobs to Milam county at most it produced 15 employees and has since reduced to 5 employees this week(1/17/19).
Milam county made lots of provisions as a desperate town on verge of rebirth (http://www.milamcounty.net/docs/agendas-minutes/2018%20Minutes/Minutes%2011-13-18.pdf) Tax abatement's (contract is for tax free/tariff exemptions ect.  for 10 years among other things involving energy usage) but bitmain is falling short , In fact they are falling 98.75% short of contract terms!

ALSO mentioned during interview how would operations remain profitable if btc keeps crashing ? Mentioned them nulling out via difficulty/pricing ect. even with near free electricity an operation this scale would hardly sustain unless you are getting near free electricity or mining on in-house unreleased mining gear.   (didnt want to talk about operations/implements)

I was not mad I did not get hired, Just mad that I vested so much hope and optimism into them just to turn out they where nowhere near their P's & Q's like I would have thought.  Looking back Im glad I did not get hired, I would have moved to a baron town, signed new leases , transferred my kids school everything. Just to probably get fired/let go a month later.

Are these signs that crypto is really going down or just bitmain?. Bitmain laid off %80 of its employees, tried to ipo on lies,wu stepping down just seems like a big train wreck cluster fuck coming soon.

1313  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Bitcoin Mining firm goes bankrupt on: November 23, 2018, 04:19:50 PM
@OP,
There have been a few mining-based firms (not companies making these mining equipment or giving electricity hosting services) like hashflare that had exit scams and most have been done with the purpose of scamming people and running away with their money. Those who were good at paying, were stopped mostly due to mismanagement and no plans for future when Bitcoin surged in price (and even no plans for BTC price drops).

Their mining equipment inventory shows "No Products Found", so shall we consider them out of stock for that part?

I'm tempted to try to buy a cheap mining rig. There are rumours of miners using wheelbarrows to dump them.

I wish they may show up with an auction for all their mining stuff and sell them for lower prices, at least they'll get some capital to start off something else and try paying their investors back (but that's next to impossible, still as crypto itself has turned many investments into 1000x and made billionaires, anything may happen).
Saw a video of this on twitter, they are not even stacking them just dumping them probably messing them up in process Sad
1314  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Crypto currency as an alternative to the stock market on: November 18, 2018, 09:42:13 PM
Security Token
First of all, it is necessary to specify terms in order to be clear what I am talking about. I will not discuss coins (digital currency working on blockchain technology). I described below tokens which have recently appeared a lot and I am feeling that everyone has forgotten what their purpose.

In general, all varieties of coins, tokens and everything else were created with a single goal – the development of the ecosystem and infrastructure for using cryptocurrency in the real world.

Security tokens, in turn, give a unique opportunity to all participants of the system. The company is free to raise the necessary funds from anywhere in the world. On the other hand, anyone absolutely free can participate in the creation and development of the interesting project.

What do we get from it?

1)The boundaries are blurring

Imagine that you could participate in the creation of such company like Apple. Previously, there was not any technical possibility to did this. There was not even the Internet, so you just would not know that there are people who want to create something like this and that they need money for development. And even if you found out them and for example lived in another country, you would not be able to influence their company.

2)There are no restrictions in raising funds

At the moment, funds raising for the development of the company is problematic and is limited by a large set of requirements, which, unfortunately, are often not related to the security of the contributors. It is an artificial barrier in the hands of those who have owned the modern financial world, in order to save their money and influence. Listing is very expensive and possible only for financial giants. Small companies do not enter the stock market.

What is an IPO, anyway?

This is the way to get additional funding by diluting business shares. The main part of the shares usually remains with the founders, the rest is distributed to everyone, as the alleged share of the business, and in theory should generate some revenue, etc.

So, it means that young companies are cut off from big money, they have no chance to enter the IPO market and get the funds. All profits go to large organizations.

The collapse in stock markets

As for the collapse of stock markets, it is a separate issue. I will say only that the financial world is currently at a new stage of development. The economic model that has been in operation since 1944 has outlived its usefulness. The real economy can no longer sustain this financial bubble, which has grown over time. Therefore, it is possible for financial markets to collapse in the foreseeable future.

In that regard, there is a question. How crypto currency can become an alternative to the current stock market and how will be able to rise to this difficult challenge?

IPO(Stock Market) is a tangible asset , audited by governments usually a valid product or service behind it , ICO Exchanges (Blockchain based services) Is one technology with lots of "smart contracts" that so far have been quiet useless , Just a new branch of software with security protocols Basically blockchain can be used to make things better such as buying a house , or transferring money bank to bank. but really does'nt have anything tangible behind it but the network itself and the speculative users behind it that are purposing it. Bitmain is the only company to truly take advantage of blockchain , implementing hardware for it (aka centralizing it) and now considering ipo (Winning both markets) Albeit btc and everything in between will have value going for it still a niche market if you really think about it. Blockchain just makes existing infrastructure better, safer, faster. These are just my opinions/thoughts please do not take them and run with them. Personally I think we need to go back to the drawing board and focus on what bitcoin was originally about decentralized crypto currency.

it may not be the best idea to do it in such a hot climate

If only you do not have a huge refrigerator and free electricity
Bitmain opening first mining in USA in Texas thought I would point that out.
