1321  Bitcoin / Project Development / Decay Factoring for mining Ops -Help- on: March 13, 2018, 12:11:46 AM
Some of you may or may not know I've been working on a decay formula for a while And I've made it!
Its nothing solid but can yield "LIVE" results for the past 3 months,1month,1week,1day.
Formula uses json scrapers on top of your plugged in numbers (sorry no fancy app or api stuff) Although I want to release formulas within TensorFlow or something similar that can analyze and scrape for me since im plugging in #'s and working em manually.

the scrapers observe only changing metrics * but use some of these factors to conclude.

1) Network Strength---THS*
2) Electric Used---KWH
3) Market Rate---BTC to USD*
4) Difficulty Increase---3,290,605,988,755*
5) Block Reward---12.5 *
6) Your Block Reward BTC&USD--- *subtracted from 3m,1m,1w,1d
and a few more such as equipment cost,

The idea of the formula is to see when you need to reorder equipment and how much you need to reorder to maintain desired decay or positive unity in your operation, (with separate focuses U$D and BTC )

Ill give it to anyone willing to help implement it into a ML/DL Database Processing (Via TensorFlow/Python) Let me know something! ANY insight desired ! Not intended to be a permanent solution obviously but implementing TensorFlow and ML/DL could do wonders on educated guessing on the stats. And predictions will be accurate at the time of going through formula. Based on your desired Windows.

1322  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Anybody in the US mine at home and call it a business? on: January 30, 2018, 02:51:18 AM
Can you just start a mining business? Call it Joes Mining or whatever. Write off the equipment and electric bills. Keep track of your monthly mining income. Pay your taxes and call it a year. Did you start an LLC , INC or Sole Proprietorship? Does the government consider mining an occupation? If you write off equipment and sell it later for new stuff. Then you pay income tax on the sale of that equipment also correct? I am thinking about doing this. I have a 3600sq ft building in my yard I could use. I would open up a mining business bank account to run everything through and get my accountant on speed dial. Is this feasible or am I getting in over my head?
See K1 Tax info and just hire a crypto cpa.

Sorry, we diverged... Sticking to the thread, hashrate grow is unbelievable, aliens may be chiming in Smiley Who can be deploying this massive hashrate and using what hardware?

definitely next gen in the testing .  those of us that been around a while have seen this before.  Just had another huge jump up in the chart.  Going to see a nice price jump very soon.   Grin   NEW ATH folks.

Doug

edit at 2% growth a day were talking some serious hash being thrown at the network. (20k s9's per day!)

or 10k s11's  Shocked

1325  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: December 30, 2017, 02:35:39 PM
Freebitcoin for me is mostly a wallet with low fees and constant interest rate.
The one thing that would make me love freebitco.in more is the adding an option to lock multiply btc.
A suggestion, mine monero with the browser mining and change it to bitcoins. Bitcoin mining with PC are not profitable at all.
current charge is 3k I think very high Sad

Are you unaware of the current high transaction fees for BTC?
3000 Sats is cheap
It's new addition just last week. And hey, in Freebitcoin, 3k satoshis is not cheap. 13 satoshis per hour and that will give you, at least, 230 claims, so if you are a robot that will be 230 hours, 9.5 days of claiming nonstop in Freebitcoin.  Roll Eyes So, your nearly 10 days of claiming in Freebitcoin will be put in the fees alone lol.
Do not withdraw.
What will you do with 0.0003btc?
If you want to spend it, you'll have to pay 0.0002 as fee.
It's very simple, do not withdraw little coins.
I have 0.2 in my account and it pays 0.00002 as interest.
0.0006 monthly.
And if you use freebitcoin.in as your wallet, you'll see that fees are very low.
These days if you send lowest sized coins (one input) in other wallets, it says you must pay at least 0.0005 , and it will be confirmed after some hours, but freebitcoin.in has lower fees.
And it is always in one input, no more fees for multiple inputs.

Exactly my thought. It's true that you not owning private keys is always a risk, but between leaving the coins on an exchange and leaving them on freebitco.in, I choose freebitco.in because it looks solid, admin looks reliable and there are interests applied to the balance.
not many secured options out there. polo lending is the only thing that comes close. tbh i trust freebitcoin over poloniex
1326  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BTC buy&sell - best rates from HiRiBi.com on: December 30, 2017, 02:31:31 PM
Are you honest even with big transaction ammounts like 100.000$ and more?  Huh
They did not do me wrong and do not pay me to promote them for what its worth. I sold them .1 recently with no problems , just lots and lots of paypal transactions. over a 24 hour time period , just document the sell encase anything goes wrong you can communicate collected data to solve issue.

Still searching for insight , To the poster that says machines are not available idk what to tell you i get email every-other day about machines in stock(I dont care what make i get as long as roi is decent,)M3 Have been my winner lately ordering from every 12th/s $1188 that comes available include psu and flat 100$ shipping .  Im trying to snowball and compound a sustainable operation with positive unity
First you ask for help, then you call BS on experienced people that are trying to help you. No good deed goes unpunished. Go and buy all those "machines in stock", don't be surprised when you realize you lost all your money.

Yep, what he said.  Get lost scammer.
I really do not know what you guys are going on about. the replies are not from experienced miners operating a farm.(not hosing in hillsboro or remedying a downed pool) Nor are the replies to my topic on point , My post is about making a network sustain and grow via metrics  I want to see metric or a formula using listed factors. Equipment acquisition is literally the last of my worries. Help with the numbers. Not help each other build GPU rigs on my metric post.

So for fun i did the math today.  At 14 exahash if we add .05% each day that equates to over 5000  s9 added to network per day ?. Correct me if i am wrong.   This is amazing and explains the crazy increase in price along with the upswing in this graph.  http://bitcoin.sipa.be/    Even with the backup in transactions it looks like security will continue to increase as more continue to mine.. I have no doubts that scaling will be addressed this year.   Better to get it right the first time.  Look at what the alts do right as the test bed and implement the best features into btc.  Thats how i see it going down some time in the future. BTC will always remain the OG of crypto.   Anyway for those wondering why bitmain raise price.. well supply and demand.. also they expect another crazy jump in price soon.  Going to be a great 2018  Grin.

also look at correlation to this graph set at 1 wk time frame.  https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/bitstamp/btcusd
Merry Christmas Everyone  And Happy New Year!

Best Regards
Doug

Its because next gen is coming out and in testing phases
1330  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / When to Buy New Machines Factoring Formulation -Decay Prevention- Network Growth on: December 27, 2017, 05:15:24 PM
I need a little help guys.here is what I use to factor I would like to see your numbers or a variant of your numbers or your network growth methods.

1) Network Strength
2) Electric Used
3) Market Rate
4) Difficulty Increase
5) Block Reward
6) Mined Per Month        -My main focus-

---
Using these factors,We can predict a need for network growth ,and how much to keep BTC mined p/Month FLOATING or growing No re-buying means you eventually decay

I reinvest 17%-34%(Depends on how things look based on the 6 factors) of profits just to maintain a floating point .  I compound these for 2-3 months then reorder
I retrofit while I wait for shipment , then implement network add-ons as they come in.

It takes as little as 70% (consistently) in reorders to actually "grow" the network and get the BTC mined per month up without electrical cost interfering.
Unfortunately I cant do 100% reinvest

Anyone else dedicated to the game?. Network triple this year trying to maintain?   (but still making the same!(BTCBTC)
Difficulty jumps 17% Market drops 40%       btc from 1.90 to 1.30 =    28ish%that the network hash has to increase just to maintain the 1.90BTC a month.

Its not everything , but what do you guys do?.
Id like to see some audit numbers i know this is prized information to most large scale miners but I want to crank it up !!! (Give me demo numbers)
Id like to focus only on BTC mined per month growth, based on other factors.-I understand this is risky in dips ,
but would like to take advantage of dips assuming we wont take a hit harder then like 80% of market rate.
What is you guys method of madness?
1331  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Bitmain Doubles Price for S9 on: December 27, 2017, 04:30:46 PM
So, I moved enough to buy an S9 into BCH at around 4pm GMT, hesitated slightly, went out, came back 4 hours later, BCH gets added to coinbase, wait another little while wondering what the hell is happening. BCH moons. I put the S9 order through.

30 minutes later, they're sold out, and BCH is crashing. My order price was locked in.

Worked out that I got my $2800 S9 for about $1700.

Lessons learned:

1. Bitmain KNOW releasing an S9 batch will pump BCH, as people scramble to move coins into BCH to complete their order.
2. Bitmain probably have a big bunch of S9s left. This was almost certainly NOT them running out of stock! Coinbase added BCH, there was a massive sell off of BCH, and only after that did they announce they were out of stock. All within about 3-4 hours of each other. The order makes me think BCH dump was Bitmain cashing out all the BCH they'd just received from the S9 batch.

My theory is this was a well co-ordinated and quite clever pump and dump by Bitmain/Roger Ver/Coinbase.

I will be waiting to see what happens between now and March 2018.

Probably re-selling my $1700 S9 for insane profit on ebay the day it arrives. They currently sell for around £4000 GBP ($5400), which is part of why I think $2800 isn't that unreasonable for Bitmain to price at. The real money they make is from BCH market manipulation.

This! Shady shenanigans indeed from all involved, puts me right off BCH.  Angry

Actually I think I’m gonna only call it BCash after seeing that video of Roger Ver freaking out over it.  Kiss

Congrats on your fortuitous timing though.
Ive been claiming a crazy conspiracy , one day they wont sell off and do a complete network transfer to bch , (for example here is a email you will probably get one day ) Due to the slow TX times of BTC antpool will no longer support BTC all networks have been swapped to BCH , EVERY time BCH Pumps is when antminers are in stock, bitmain only accepting BCH for a BTC mining hardware piece is whats lead me to believe this. 1000% something fishy going on here , BITCOIN is not decentralized with company's like this around. Ive pretty much so exited holding untill i watch this pan out, Bubble dont scare me, bitmain does .  MOST asic manufacturers are following suit to this price hiking selling based on machine ROI , technically its illegal in the states but only the redistributors in states not manufacturer , the manufacturer's also ship these as generic "cheap" computers to avoid taxes even to redistributors. We need a miner made in USA. they will be sold on hardware cost and labor then multiplied x3 or x4 like every other company. Selling a machine based on roi in a unstable market is ridiculous a s9 makes today in BTC what a S4 was making in January, I once mentioned bitmain quadruple fucking people . Think about it if bitmain can time coinbase with antminer drops to bch , whos to say they couldnt collaborate with btc.com and slushpool at the same time for a network swap?. Or better yet offer genesis-mining and all those other cloud mining companies 20% off hardware to swap .... Bitcoin isnt decentralized anymore , bitmain owns it and decides what happens to it. theve gotten very serious rallies with BCH in the last 2 months all it takes is for them to hodl bch, only accept bch. if bitmain didnt sell off bch after the pumps we would probably already be fighting bch vs btc and ill honestly tell you bch is a better currency via network standards.
1332  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: From 0.1 to 1 BTC in 6 months with Day-Trading on: December 27, 2017, 03:56:34 PM

I'm going to start a trading journal. My goal is to reach 1 BTC starting from 0.1 (a bit less), trading altcoins with a short-term outlook.
I'm a professional trader and, even if cryptocurrency is a new world to me, I have decided to dedicate 6 months to test this market with a small amount.
If I succeed, I will include cryptocurrency in my investment portfolio and I will publish my strategy.

Today's trades:
DNT 632
DGB 139
XRP 3000
GRS 8976

Good luck  Grin

PS: I also have a small investment in Bitcoin and Ethereum, but I won't count it in.

Woow! I hope this test will run smoothly and finally  reach your goal. Can we get some updates about your trading when it is done. This will serve as a challenge for me.
Why didn`t op share more info about his success, how much time was he spending each day, was he active everyday in past 6 months, or he had free days. He made nice amount in bitcoins 1 btc today is over 16.500$ and making that in just 6 months is almost 3.000$ every months, sounds like great
salary. I bet he was day trader, at least with his picks, I have a lot od dgb and I am waiting price to rise again before I sell them.
Cause posters took this and ran with it.
1333  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: making rigs with bitfury chips ? on: December 23, 2017, 04:45:17 PM
hey  thinking about ordering 16nm asic chips from Bit fury's shop, they have lots of 1000 chips listed..

is the bit fury shop legit? I am super interested in getting 3000-10,000 of these chips to start mining most probably toward the higher end or more if its actually possible.

i would have to build the miners my self going this route but would get significantly more bang for my buck..

really wanting to jump into mining by buying chips and this seems like one of the most available chips as others are for large buyers. / 1mil min buys.

either the Bitfury chips/ their B8 unit, or the Avalon A8's 60x of them are what im looking at starting with.. am new to mining but seems like right now if I can get my hands on good hard ware (16nm) it will be well worth it.

DON'T BUY! It's a scam!
http://siteinfo.com/www/bitfury.shop

Registered in Russia. Does anything good come from Russia? Wink

But for real, I spoke to BitFury. They only sell directly, and their minimum order is $2m.

Be careful bro!

Good luck
Yep bitfury only offers cips at 8$ all the way to 2m or 50gh/s contracts at 7500.00 (still need 2 million to fufill this) anything else relevant is probably a scam
1334  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: December 22, 2017, 07:41:47 PM
- to admins/PRs of this faucet -

I have a proposal that would definitely benefit users of this websiteand maybe, the website's owner too.

It consists in the fact to accept deposits on other coins other than BTC, and then freebit.co.in internally converts into BTC somehow at a variable conversion rate.

I'm asking this because me, but I suppose there could be others, would be willing to deposit more as we love the services offered by the faucet (multiply, support for forks, interests) but we are restrained from the huge withdrawal fees applied by exchanges. For example I do small tradings from time to time, maybe I manage to get ~100'000 sats BTC from a sell, but while this amount would be acceptable to deposit to freebitcoin, I can't withdraw to transfer because it barely covers the withdrawal fees.

So the optimal course of action in this case would be for me to exchange in DOGE or LTC or BCH or any other less network problematic coin, and then withdraw DOGE to my freebitcoin account and freebitcoin convert them internally into BTC.

I understand that there are lots of risks involved in this because of current market prices that may cause freebitcoin to loose (or gain) depending on the period trend, besides the technical difficulties.
Sounds like a good idea a currency with smaller TX fee's . crazy that i can move btc to freebitco.in earn interest plus rolls but all my compounded interest are eaten by fee's that are increasing
1335  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BTC buy&sell - best rates from HiRiBi.com on: December 22, 2017, 07:35:38 PM
I have been waiting for my payment for over 48 hours so far, 180 confirmations.
Just wait it out they paid me today i transferred like 3 days ago , btc is 13,500 they still paid at 20k they offered the other-day.
1336  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Bitmain Doubles Price for S9 on: December 22, 2017, 07:22:01 PM
funny how they go on current roi , two days later market take a 40% shit , only real winner is bitmain .
1337  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Repeal of Net neutrality - effects on miners on: December 21, 2017, 07:38:35 PM
If anything does occur thats detrimental to operations large and small alike there are other options, sock5, foreign sat providers are a viable option as well!
This net neutrality stuff has been in the air sometime, Id say rather then worrying about it just prepare for all situations that could be thrown your way , Hope for the best but expect the worst.
1338  Economy / Services / Re: Creating ERC20's on: December 16, 2017, 08:59:00 PM
anything special from your service ? like it will support forking or atomic swap or another unique code ? because i can make it with only 20 usd using minereum token creation service and thats allin one in your post

to be honest i dont know much about minereum untill this point thats hard to compete with to be honest.

something could be worked out if you wanted expanded support such as forking , personally havnt done an erc20 fork but i know its possible 2 or 3 different ways.

I cannot offer atomic swaps although if you patiently wait for ARK.io to deploy 1click blockchains they will offer atomic swaps as far as i know.
sorry all this is probably not good news to you.

It can be confusing if your not 100% proficient in English.

All others that can construe what I'm trying to convey please continue to message me.

It's written "you're", not "your".

Love the irony though.   Wink
