I remember XMR and LTc were at the same position early week, People were speculating which coin will break first above 100$ and most of the guys were saying LTC, but the result is opposite XMR won it and it even climbed like 140$ and that is insane.  I couldn't believe how much it grew. Privacy coin was the flavor of the month though. |

I think Siacoin is a great coin, but I don't think it's going to last. I think Filecoin is going to win the battle for the decentralized storage market.
SIA has a huge head start, and a really involved community. Really great dedicated developers. They don't have anywhere near the cash of filecoin (wtf was their ICO about, ridiculous). File coin will definitely have an accelerated development, in the meanwhile SIA is already a working network and protocol. The API tools to integrate it into other services are half way there as well. We will see what the economics of it are as an investment... but it will definitely be a better investment than that over bloated ICO of filecoin, until it crashes a little. Agree 100%. They need to improve servers and UI. Make it easier for consumers. |

Do your own research. How much are they raising? Do they keep a % of coins? Any vesting schedule so they can't dump coins?

I wouldn’t go that far. I mean even if it quadrupled in price (hitting 600$) then in order for somebody to be a billionaire then they’d need to be holding 250 million dollars worth of Monero. Even if it went 1 thousand times you'd still need a million worth of XMR to become a billionaire. The math is not complicated. 400K XMR @ $2500 and there you go. or 200K @ $5000. Manipulate at will. 16 month window, Say 5X BTC increase, and 5X XMR:BTC increase, or some combination (would put XMR ~$3500). We just had a 2X in 8 hours, and 3X in a week in XMR. BTC is up about 5X in the last 8 months. Is that a lot? Yeah, it sure is. Hardly unprecedented though. That would be quite a call. You don't see a dip in price or a correction. IT was quite a big rise from 50 --> 150ish. |

What a call. I wish I saw this thread earlier  .Looks like I'll be riding it back up. You and me both, I only sold half. Luckily that helped me buy back in at a very low dip to where I basically recovered most of my losses already, but still... I miss 400k+! It'll be back there soon they just need some good news and Kris needs to get out ahead of the twitter-ati better. I saw a lot of the dump comes from no Visa logo on that cards and app (even though it was never intended to be so). This is a long-term hold for you? |

One of my shipments has stopped in China with status "Your package is being held for payment of duty and tax". Anyone else had this happen? How was it resolved and how long did it take?
I remember someone mention this is another Bitmain forum, but just can't find it so input is appreciated.
I remember that too. I think you have to go provide a SSN or EIN or Tax ID and pay it. |
